I finally get around to looking for this cache… I pick a quiet Sunday and I find nothing… not even the Blue Thingy… it’s gone…
I’m including a copy of the pic taken by Davidwazza in September…
I’ll log a NM… but it may even need to be archived unless the CO wants to become creative…

Today on this sunny and hot day, my solo geocaching expedition took me to the area of Jindalee and Sinnamon Park. I began my day at Mount Ommaney Bushland Reserve, which was a pretty nice walk along Brisbane River. I then made my way around Westlake and then Riverhills, completing *Parks of Centenary* Adventure Lab. After grabbing a late bakery lunch, I made a loop back towards Mount Ommaney and Sinnamon Park, where I completed the *Sinnamon Park Historical Tour* Adventure Lab. I closed out my day making a stop at Rocks Riverside Park, where the *Industrial Disease* Wherigo allowed me to have a walk around that area.
This was certainly an interesting historic relic, although quite random for its location. I had a look around from the ground level, and with no evidence of a cache, I decided to look higher. After making a short climb, I managed to find the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. The Terrain rating should probably be a little higher given what is needed to find the cache. Thanks Duck! and Family for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Found it took us a while almost gave up but after a climb ended up finding the small container TFTC
I’ve been trying to get this one for a while now but it is always busy here. Post-lockdown and a Sunday afternoon so I thought it might be quiet today and I was right. My little cachet enjoyed climbing up and finding this one. TFTC!
Quick easy find we replaced the log as we were unable to sign the other log as it was to wet
My first impression of the blue thingy is that it was a press of some kind also. After reading a few logs last night I climbed up and made a quick find. The log is rather wet. Tftc
Definitely not for those who are vertically challenged, watch out for the wasps. The contents are a bit wet!
Found it after the second visit. Building appears vacant so I didn’t feel weird scaling the thing. A fun one

Drag myself away from a Netflix binge. Interesting blue thingy!
A close encounter with some locals, a bit of skin off the elbow and a not so useful tool at GZ. Log was found, signed and returned. Thanks!

Our first one! Met someone trying to find it at the same time! 10/10 would recommend
I have tried to find this cache several times. Today, I was in luck with the assistance of 2 other young agile cachers. Tick this one off my list. TFTC
2nd attempt along with second set of eyes ...please check to make sure it hasn't been muggled
I was travelling home from work and getting tired crawling along in the traffic. I decided a pit stop to stretch my legs was need, so quickly exited and pulled over. This interesting looking cache was close by, so I navigated my way around the streets and parked nearby. I could see the office workers sitting at their desks facing out the window directly adjacent to gz, so I tried to be inconspicuous, and luckily quickly had the container in hand. I replaced the container where I found it on the interesting blue thingy, and power walked back to the car to get out of the rain. Tftc Duck! and Family
Oh, it is great to be out and about again after the easing of the COVID-19 restrictions. We arrived here just as kikivaka was signing the log. Saved us the search. Thanks kikivaka and hope that you continue to enjoy the adventure. Thanks to Duck! and Family
Found the blue thing.
Placed myself on the street side and after a while I had the container in hand.
Signed with a blunt pencil as my pen had broken down
Thank you for placing this geocache Duck! and Family

Left this one specifically to find today for the souvenir. Happy palindrome date and thanks for the friendly neighbourhood cache!
Need a new logbook as this one is falling apart.

After pulling up reading the hint and the name of the cache we put 2 and 2 together and the cache was soon in hand! TFTC! Cache find no. 136!
Got it! Not hard to find as it’s no longer in a magnetic tin. Hopefully won’t be muggled. Could do with a little TLC. TFTC, interesting piece of machinery.
Found it!
Looks like it may need some care. It’s not very hidden at all and I couldnt find a better hide.
Seems like the container has been replaced with something not too fitting.

Busy area in the middle of a work day. Interesting thing
TFTC (not a lot of paper left)

Lucky there was something nearby to stand on - otherwise you’ll need to climb to find the one. Fun find.
Took a bit to find but after searching low and high I got it. Definitely need to be about 6ft or taller lol TFTC.
We are in Brisbane for a few days and had some spare time to grab a few caches. After a few minutes we soon had the well hidden cache in hand. TFTC and bringing us to this great spot Duck and Family!
Signed log and placed back in original spot! Enjoyed this one
Thank you Duck! And Family!

Thank you elina_maree.
The 'Fishermans Friends' tin is the original but the tin was MIA for a while so a kind cacher who found the log exposed placed it in a new eclipse tin, shortly after the original tin was located.
Dear future catchers, either tin will get you a Smiley.

Went back today & found the 2nd cache container! And the Night Caching Trackable was definitely worth the 2nd trip! I decided to move the two containers to a spot side-by-side (where the Fishermen’s Friend container was; as it is my understanding that the Fisherman's Friend container was the original and the Eclipse mint container the replacement.
I have taken a photo of both cache containers and attached it to this log.
I was unable to sign the Fisherman's Friend cache log because it was saturated and COVERED in ants! Although, admittedly, we did have a torrential downpour and violent storm today.
I had both 7 y.o. and 9 y.o. climbing experts with me today to help out. Thanks boys, thanks Duck! and thanks WMG187 for the cool trackable...

Found it - with the help of Master 7y.o. to climb on my behalf. Quite a random blue thing for the middle of Sumner. TFTC.
I also have no idea what the Blue Thingy is. I'd love to phone up the company (whose premises it is on) and ask but that would be too risky, as it might draw attention to the cache. Pity.

Please note: I believe there to be two cache containers on Blue Thingy! Today I found an eclipse tin (painted light grey) with lengthy log book/s. So must have been there a while. There was no TB and yet WMG187 had not long ago added one. He has confirmed he did not put the TB in an eclipse tin.
Came here a long while ago but due to the fact that I am vertically challenged I was unable to convert the box to a Smilie so tonight I am back and fully prepared and made my conversion in no time. Signed log and replaced as found. TFTC
Different to the others pictured with a very different log, but I assume I found the right one!
Nice find. Hard to find a park mid week very busy people working around here...
Find #1531
Our first Queensland cache, and just 950m from where I grew up. We are up for the weekend visiting, and needed a find for today, so literally dropped off our bags and went in search. I remember scouring the streets in this area for aluminium cans to recycle at the old Comalco place down here as a youngster, good memories....
We spotted the blue thingy easily, and the cache was found after a quick climb. TFTC Duck!

4/4/17 out this way collecting canvas and couldn't resist grabbing this one on the way past. Sent the geoboy up and soon enough heard the "found it" cry. Woohoo. Log signed and returned. TFTC Duck!
With an early finish on Fridays, after work today, I met up with Mr and Mrs RoddyC. This was the first cache of the day. After a quick search of the "Blue thingy", The cache was soon in hand. We added our names to the logbook, rehid the cache and continued on our way. TFTC
Friday afternoon geocaching with Selva Girls to search out some fun. That we did - and with a vice variety of geocaches of all sizes except a large (but that would be unusual in suburbia!)
No thoughts about this thingy - so it shall remain named the same. But it has had a change of paint colour.[)]
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 2.05pm on 4th November, 2016. TFTC
