Logs
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

Seems as there have been no finders for 2 1/2 years and the CO hasnt been online for 3 1/2 years this cache should be archived to allow other active cachers a chance to place one here
Had no expectations going for this one, seems as no one had found this for close to 2 years. Had a look around GZ, but as the others have said this is not there. Time for this one to be ARCHIVED. Most stunning spot, will be back here again.
We were going this way and made a brief stop to look in case it had been updated. Still not to be found. Beautiful place though. Well worth the trip.
Two or three visits and we couldn't find it. Fellow cachers had same result a few days before. Maybe gone?
Found this one in the morning after camping nearby. Nice walk and good views. Cache was located quickly.
TFTC!

Found with "encouragement" from Morgan Ed and Kiwiowl. What a beautiful place. Must come back again to explore properly. TFTC
A very nice easy find to end a Fathers day outing, it was a bit overcast and windy today so the weather didn't do justice to the beach. we will be back in summer. TFTC.
ps, There is no TB in the cache!!!.

Found with my four tramping friends after doing loop track in bush then along coastal path. Easy find. We hid it so not obvious from the track. TFTC. No TB though.
Nice drive to cache - lots of humps though. Soon found after very pleasant walk. SL TFTC
Found easily on a very busy day at Waipatiki. There was an adventure race on and we had just finished watching some poor lady being airlifted to hospital. A very picturesque walk. Thank you.
Staying on the beach campsite so was great to have a walking distance cache for a wet day! Would have liked to follow the path but couldn't get the pushchair down it (but could get to within 2 minutes so you can go with little ones if you can carry or have someone wait on the beach) TFTC
We almost forgot to go looking for this cache. We'd past the spot previously on a walk around the coast.
We spent 5 nights at the camp and had a great time, It's a lovely spot - we've booked 3 sites for next Christmas and will take some friends.

Easiest find to date. Found with Tomahawk. It has slipped from its hiding place and was in clear view from the track. So, perhaps lucky its still here as the walk is quite a busy. We saw 3 muggles on the way up and another came past during the re-hide. Used a bit of camo when putting back. The cache is a great find in an awesome spot. TFTC -TB & Tamagotchi +GC & Teddy Bear.
How odd. In the log book there were a number of logs since the March one by Appo but they aren't recorded on the website? Never mind - a scorching day to drive to Waipatiki and the sand was hot so we enjoyed a paddle in the sea. Easy find. Left a TB and took nil. Took some photos though!! TFTC.
A nice easy quick find in a great location.
Beautiful day today, nto a cloud about, and only a handful on people on this great beach
TFTC
picked up TB to take it to another beach

beautiful day in a beautiful place found this 1 out for a day at the beach with dad and brother
What an idyllic spot! Splendidly sunny and one more before heading back to wellington. Spent some time at GZ watching people in surfskis and swimming in the ocean. The small campground looked packed full of tents and we would love to come back camping here at some stage. Dropped of a suitably surfy TB. TFTC.
Thought we would cut across at the top of the Tutira Hill after doing Rimu Forest cache, however the prospect of 12 kms of gravel sent us back down the bottom to the Tongoio Beaach entry for a climb back over the hill. Nice spot. Easy walk to the cache for a quick find.
+ Happy B'day TB
- G'day Bruce! TB

The coastal walks here are awesome too.

Found this easily on very windy track. Took my 4 and 5 year old and they were fine going up the track. I did not realise the road to this beach was sealed, the area has certainly had a big tidy up since I was last here. Enjoyed the trip and the cache. Thanks for the effort in placing it and we'd love to see some more. Cheers Carla
