Foudn this one easily shortly after publication, but this time we spent quite a bit of time and couldn't find it. The hint is pretty descriptive, but just in case the previous cacher placed it back somewhere we extended the search area. Maybe the magnet gave way and the cache fell off? We looked on the ground and in the bushes near GZ and still couldn't locate...
On the loop and took a detour up to the road to have a look. Pretty sure it's gone, sorry!!
A find so long time ago: is the cache still there?
Please check and maintenance.

I am visiting from Australia and after spending a week with my sister in New Plymouth then attending the mega event at Turangi I have time to play tourist for a week before my flight back to Sydney next Saturday. So I thought I would head towards the Bay of Plenty as I have never been to this part of New Zealand before. Today was a run from a bit south of Rotorua to Tauranga, so not a job of getting every cache on the way but a line on the map.
Parked below, tried both sides but came up blank on this despite the hint. Cache blindness I hope. Thanks Rick-a-mortis.

1792 Stop and walked back. Log was wet but my pen was still able to write on it.
After a couple of rainy days, the weather forecast for today was looking good, which was a relief as we had planned a trip to Rotorua today, regardless of the weather. Our main aim was to find the Bay of Plenty CANZ cache (mission accomplished) plus a few solved puzzles etc as well as have a look around the town. An enjoyable day, thanks to the COs for the great caches we found.
This was the first stop of our journey, so we had to cross the road to GZ. Not a problem as the traffic was light. TFTC.

#11880. A flash underpass like this seems a bit out of place out in the country. Good parking and a quick find. TFTC.
I found this one on the ground. I signed the log (logbook damp) and replaced it where hint indicates. Magnet is pretty weak so hopefully it stays put.
Thanks for the cache, it was the first of nine out here at The Tect Park, first time I've stopped here. Not a lot of people around midday Sunday.

Send the man to retrieve this while we waited down on the grass. A nice quick one tftc
One of those caches that makes you feel awkward as heck. What is one middle aged Maori male doing, standing on the bridge, in the middle of the state highway, digging around the barriers for? Had to laugh, no pen and I don't believe in photo logging. Luckily the ladyfriend had some lip liner handy. If there's a red mess on the cache log I take full responsibility. Thanks for the cache
On our travel through New-Zealand we visited some really nice places.
Thanks to all Owner to show us all this places.

Had to figure out where the cache was exactly first. Once we sorted that out quick find on a lovely day.
Found it with Team FIN [janahola, kapeka, laalaa & temyllyl]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in New Zealand. Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was pretty good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and really scenary country!
Greetings from Finland

Thanks for the cache.
On a geoholiday road tripping to Christchurch MEGA and around beautiful New Zealand. Our four people group (temyllyl, laalaa, kapeka and myself) from Finland used group tag FIN to log the caches.
Welcome to MEGA Finland in 5-7 august 2016!
Today our trip continued from Taupo to Tauranga. Of course with some caching on the way. We had lots of fun and saw many nice places and caches. Thanks for the cache!

16th day on our geo-roadtrip in New Zealand, and caching our way towards north. Logged using our group nickname FIN with janahola, laalaa and kapeka. After having a blast in South Island and in Christchurch Mega event, we had to start heading back home. Fortunately we still had few days left to spend in NZ while driving to Auckland.
Easy find missed these last time in the area tramping
Stayed Over night in the park.

My grandad and I found this cache while on our third day of our New Zealand trip. We were travelling to Turangi for the next part of our trip.
After leaving Tauranga, we enjoyed the drive towards Turangi and stopped for the group of caches around the TECT All Terrain Park. This was the first one for the day - we took the exit, drove under the bridge and parked near GZ. We made a quick find before doing the tunnel track. TFTC!

I didn't realise half of this TECT Park was on the other side of the highway and that there was a road that stretched underneath. Awesome - I went on a huge tiki-tour of this park today and it was crazy - I knew there were a few bits'n'pieces here but not all the facilities - much more here then I realised.
Cache found quickly and in good condition - a little damp from probably condensation but otherwise all good.
Cheers Rick-a-mortis, been meaning to tick this one off for awhile now

Found it lying in the dirt at road level. Assumed this was not where it should be so put it back according to the hint, hopefully this is correct but the owner may want to check.

Had fallen onto the main road so hopefully put in back in right place. Might pay to check it if you are the cache developer
I had decided a few days ago that I would try and spend a few days in a town that I had spent a couple of years many decades ago. Nothing much has changed, there's still a big pond with a big hill next to it and a few mud pools letting off a bit of steam.
It is time to put the pond behind me and head towards the beach. Didn't quite get there as there was this All Terrain TECTpark that wasn't here when I was here. I went under it first but then I never did go over it.
Cheers for the cache.

The kiwi family decided to take a drive out to the TECT Park tonight to get my daily cache, al tho this was the worst timed cache we could do, got out to the gates and was pitch black and closed so by the looks of it this one was able to be got from the main road. Ended up spending a lot longer on this one than it should of taken, phone was really playing up, so was on right side then on other side then back on right side lol, Felt rather exposed and whenever a cars lights shown on me couldnt help but wonder what do those people think im up 2 surprised no one stopped. In the end had success and able to keep this streak going, Thanks for the cache!
Found this cache with Mikebop after a long day at work, thought we would go out on a bit of a drive as kiwi baby was feeling under the weather and thought a drive in the car would be a good idea. TFTC
Took longer than it should have as helps to look on correct side lol. Found on the ground with lid open. Replaced where i assume it was meant to b. Log is dry. Tftc
Container replaced today. Little bigger with good logbook. You will still need to bring a writing instrument.
Happy caching

Found after a huge scary hunt. lol Sneaky! Log saturated, so added new paper. tftc
Nearly gave up on this one, phone out of service, rewarded from persistence and sisters keen eyes! Tftc
Last find on the walk today, paper all wet, so couldn't sign log.. No dry paper to add either... Nice simple find to end a stunning day in the bay TFTC
Decided earlier in the week that a mission to clean up some caches between Rotorua and Tauranga. Also took a new Geocacher with me Sakura7, to show her the ropes and show her what geocaching is all about. A great day was had and with some fantastic locations visited, even if the weather was average to poor at best, still at least it wasn't cold. And as a bonus no DNF's thou it was close on a few.
Thanks to everyone for the placements.
Took a few moments to work out where to look, but soon found it. Last cache on the walk.

Sincere apologies for the very late logging and the cut and paste logs ... long story.
Had a awesome day out with CatsandDragons exploring areas between Rotorua and Tauranga on the back roads. Came across some very clever originial hides that we hadn't seen before.
Many thanks

Found with wenzwill on a drive to Tauranga for the day. Not too much of a search needed but beware of traffic. TFTC
This was not really a simple drive by. As I suspect the barriers have been extended since placement, it makes it quite difficult to just stop here. I thought I would park in the carpark and wander to the cache, but I soon found it was on the opposite side of the street and I felt a bit unsafe crossing the road. I shouldve used the underpass I guess. Once on the right side of the road it was a quick and easy find. Signed log down the embankment and thought I would quickly duck up to replace it between vehicles on the road, but got caught out by a rampantstag who seemed to come from nowhere. Luckily he was armless and I survived the ordeal to live another day. Thanks for bringing me here.
Happy Fathers Day to all the Dad's
We spent a full day of caching from Rotorus to Tauranga. Travelling along your beautful sea front, forestry & close to the town centre.
We found a great selection of caches.
Thanks for placing this cache Rick-a-mortis

New Zealand 2103 trip for the Auckland Mega at Albany. Day 7, Sapphire Springs to Rotorua. The entrance to this facility looks very impressive and it is kind of the park to put a track up to your cache here for us to use to get the it. Thanks.

Tried finding this on a previous visit with no cell phone or gps coverage, but so many possible options, we gave up. Much easier today with smart phone leading us directly to GZ. Thanks.
We went on a wild goose chase to find this one. apparently we needed the exercise haha. TFTC
Nice quick find. Haven't been through here in over a decade. TECT Park looks exciting and will definitely be back to spend some time there doing the walks and activities. TFTC
