DNF, we searched around the first waypoint at the crossroads. Looked for Mr Wolf in all the likely spots but found nothing
We really enjoyed this hide and field puzzle.
We had a long walk today, over 10 KM around this Wetlands area and enjoyed it very much
We came to the starting coordinates for this one later in the afternoon, not knowing quite what to expect but eventually, we found the big bad Wolf and Mr good wolf.
One of them helped us find the hide, the other….well, what to say!?
We have added our name to the log.
Thanks Aussie Liahona for adopting and maintaining this oldie.

It is not often that I can cache without the turmoils. Today both of them needed to be at the GC for different events at the same time! So after the 2 drop offs, caching for me it was. What else would one do to pass the time for a few hours??
At home this one was confusing and I hoped that it would make more sense when at gz. It did. I had my suspicion but figured I would end up at both points anyway with no trust in my logic reasoning. If only missTT11 was with me!
But, I should have trusted myself. My first suspicion was correct. Thank you for a multi with a difference.
I wish I had thought ahead and brought my bike today. This would be a lovely ride and would make caching faster.

Was Kabnabbed and taken geocaching (I'd say against my will, but who are we kidding?), along with ponchomon11. A great little wander around the nature trail near here. We found the wolf (wolfs? wolves? pack? I dunno, we found it though) after a few looks. The hidey space was surrounded by burned out bush that had us worried, but all was good at this exact spot the wolverines were staying. Having pre-thought the process we quickly headed off to our chosen GZ. Although we took note of both options because you never know. Turns out we were right and Grandma's cache was quickly uncovered. cheers.
Thanks K8'n'Co. for entertaining me at this location.

Caching with Pprime() and Kbreeahh. I keep forgetting how new I am compared to others in this game. This is the third for the day.
The wolf was a little elusive, Coords kept bringing me back to search harder. Found the easy clues, it's an age old riddle I first saw on Dr Who
Way point entered we were off to log the log on the log. TFTC much fun.

With a little bit of Boolean algebra we figured out the right direction and after a little bit of bloodletting to the mosquitoes we had the cache in hand. Thanks for a fun brain twister!
Out enjoying the wetlands today when we came across this multi. At GZ we quickly location what we needed and figured out who was telling the truth.
New waypoint loaded and we set off along a track we hadn't planned on taking today. We arrived soon after and began searching the obvious place.
Cache was soon in hand and signing duties conducted.
Dropped a tb in before replacing.

Out caching with tenkae when decided to tackle this one. Luckily, we went for the correct coordinates, as given by the wolf, and found the final cache. My first Multi-cache and such a find find!
Out with Dad and we came here to find this cache. The waypoint was very cool, went to the wrong spot first and then 2nd time lucky. TFTC.
Headed out with Black Flag Son and chose this one to do first. Loved the idea of the multi, what a great concept and the little fella enjoyed finding the waypoint with the coordinates.
Now how to choose, hmmmmm. Picked one and went with that, it did choose to be the wrong one but hey, it was good to get outdoors and do something fun. I did unfortunately slip into a moat of water and then get a lecture from a 7 year old, .
We now headed to the correct coordinates and once there, started our search and not long after found the container.
TFTC, signed, sealed and returned as found.

Crossed the border for a pillow fight today. Also met up with Wayn0 to do a bit of caching. This was the chosen location to meet.
What a great little area. Whilst I could still hear the buzz of traffic and the odd helicopter or light aircraft, it was relatively peaceful.
Clever multicache idea!
Thankfully this was in the first place we looked. But it did take some time to locate it. Watch out for the spiders in their webs of you go off the track.

Out exploring this wonderful area with No Tomorrow and the best way to explore an area is often via geocaching Thanks for the cache. It's well hidden and in good condition.
Cheers

Went to both locations from the wolf no luck only lead us to a dead animal on set location unless the wolf is dead????
Was happy to get this one first attempt. The logbook was a little damp but everything was in good condition. TFTC.
It has been such a long time since the planets have aligned to allow Mrs Just a Trifle, barbbowman and Raynersinoz time to go out to play for a day, so when the opportunity arose, who could say no to a day of fun We had a great time, finding some interesting caches and wandering around some peaceful bush land paths.
Thank you K8'n'Co. for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Out with barbbowman and Mrs Just a Trifle today down the Goldie. It's a great day for caching, sunny and warm, let's see what we can find...
Wow! The Coombabah Lakelands Conservation area is really lovely and totally not what I expected. It has eucalyptus forest and paperbark wetlands and a bit of rainforest as well. It's a nice place for a visit, especially if you have international visitors - there were hundreds of kangaroos and even a few wallabies. I really enjoyed this cache. I have seen a few versions of this riddle before and I was pretty certain I had the right answer. I was still relieved though when we found a cache container where we had hoped it would be. Yay! TFTC K8'n'Co, it's another goodie!

I was out for a day of caching today with Selva Girls and Mr & Mrs RoddyC today, exploring the wetlands. Mr & Mrs RoddyC were previous finders of this cache but waited patiently whilst Selva Girls and I followed the clues and added our names to the log. Tftc and the walk through nature K8'n'Co.
Out for a day of caching with storigirls and RoddyC. What a better place than the wetlands to go for a walk. There were lots of fun caches to be found here, along with a great variety of wildlife to watch. Next, we came to this fun little multi. I had seen a similar cache by this CO some time ago, but that didn't take any of the fun from this one. Once we located the wolf, we worked out which way to go and were soon on our way again. When we reached our chosen spot, the cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
The question and logic took us the right way. A few fallen trees over the pathway and a kangaroo. Found. TB not seen. TFTC
With a good deed already under my belt from attending the CITO on the Broadwater this morning, I decided to call in to a couple of local caches on the way home.
After a stealthy approach to the first WP, I managed to get the jump on Mr Wolf who was tucking into the contents of a picnic basket, while the body of a red-hoodied figure lay crumpled in the corner. After securing Mr Wolf to a chair with rope and cable ties I set about the interrogation to extract the coordinates of the cache location. After a few rough slaps to the face, it was apparent more severe methods would need to be applied. A lack of bamboo trees growing in this area and the absence of a car battery and jumper leads limited the choices on offer. The application of a dose of scopolamine tablets only elicited some garbled mumblings about a trio of pigs and hairs growing on a chinny-chin-chin. After resorting to a few rounds of waterboarding, it was apparent that they teach them well at wolf commando school and Mr Wolf was not going to give up the coordinates. The only choice left was to apply logic to the information provided and with a destination punched into the phone I headed off.
After doing a complete circle of GZ thanks to a bouncing signal I soon spotted the cache hide and signed into the logbook and grabbed a TB inside. TFTC

Found the naughty wolf trying to trick me but after thinking about the choices he gave I chose the correct one and soon had the cache container in my hand. An interesting multi. Thanks K8'n'Co and a FP from me.
I like a good riddle, and this was one that I had come across in the past. Having discovered the wolves, I made my decision and headed off. The walk along here was really pleasant on this mild winter day. At GZ, there looked a likely object and after switching across, I spied the container tucked safely in position. It was great to explore this area that I have not visited before, and to find one of these older caches.
Thanks to K8'n'Co. for placing this cache and for the fun.

Found the first part of this cache a few weeks ago and decided to base the answer on the option that was on my return journey. I was wrong that day and today I came back to search the other area....and was successful. TFTC! Beware of the blanket of mosquitos at GZ.
Really enjoyed this one, had me guessing if I was looking in the right spot. Found after having to look in both spots. Tftc
Found the sneaky wolf, and shortly after found the cache.. My jumpy phone wasn't being helpful so it was a bit of blind luck here! TFTC, where all is well
I had organised with HotWheelsDuo to do the HNT series today. I had suggested we do this cache on our way, as a fun cache to do but to also get our souvenir for the day. We found the big bad wolf easily. Now which way to Grandma's house??? We made ourselves so confused trying to work this out. Well we took the wrong way the first time. So back we went. When we arrived at the second place it looked like a lot better place to hide the cache and soon enough HotWheelsDuo found it. TFTC and this great multi!
Out for an afternoon of caching with MNance101 and needing a multi for the souveneir, we decided to tackle this one.
The wolf was soon discovered...and as we needed the exercise decided to look at the wrong coords first
Cache was quickly located at the correct coords and the container refilled with swaps.
TFTC MR Co - clever as always.

After doing the first two HNT caches we carried on our adventures through this beautiful bushland to seek out a wolf and ask him some important questions. Chikenlittle was the one who spotted the wolf first. Well after much brain storming on which wolf was indeed telling the truth, we headed off down a path. The path we decided to take quickly revealed a nice cache hiding at the set of co-ords chosen so we were all very happy. Cache no. 3/19 for the day. Thanks for a neat little cache K8'n'Co and a fun adventure for the little chikins.
This took longer than expected. Read the story carefully so you know which side to take. Tftc
Quickly found Mr Wolf and deciphered which co-ordinates were correct. I had left my shoes at home (doh!) so braved the short walk around the bush wearing sandals. Thankfully the cache was quickly located and my feet remained safe for the search. TFTC.
Out with geopartner on our way to a Trivia Night.
I do love a great cache by k8'n'Co.
I have reminisces of a cache like this one on the north side.
Went the wrong way with that one too.
Arrived at crossroads waiting for Mr Wolf.
I got the nasty bad Mr Wolf who lured me the wrong way.
After walking away he crept up on me before I reached Grandma and bit me on the back of the leg.
Log signed and cache returned to hide.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks K8'n'Co All good with this cache

Really liked this, and of course when there's a choice to be made I went with the wrong one first, love walking paths in the bush in peace and quiet.TFTC.K8'n'co.
At long last I found it... Been looking for the Wolf for weeks. Found him quick today, solved the riddle easy enough and got to the cache, I'm happy now!!! Tftc
Went to GZ according to the phone GPS checked a likely spot but the wolf wasn't there. Checked the other end of the same likely spot and found the wolf. The wolf was very helpful and provide not one but two co-ordinates and the clues as to which one to try first. Created a waypoint with the co-ordinates and headed off. Started getting further away so went back to the intersection and took the right path.
Grandmas cache was easy to spot.
Picked up the travel bug.

Does anyone have a better hint for this one. Loads of logs and couldn't find it. Found the tree in the photo but nothing. Had it been moved again? Cheers
It was wet today, and thankfully there were periods of sunshine between showers. The Boardwalk was pleasant (found another cache) and then as per the description, I came to the crossroads. Stump? Saw no stump, but the GPSr was pointing over there - maybe a log as per the hint? Could be. There were other logs around, too. Hmmm. Just use geo-sense and keep looking. Look - is that Mr Wolf? No, it's Mr Wallaby (see photo). Mr Wolf was no where in sight, but he did leave a message. Aha! So we now go to GZ for the final.
It was another pleasant walk down the pathway through this bushland, until the compass swung at right angles. Now there's a few options, so let's try them one at a time. But wait, I can see it from a few meters away.
Log signed, TB Discovered but its not in the Inventory - who dropped it off?? All nicely replaced. Found at 10.30am on 21sy July 2015. TFTC.

Out doing the nearby trail with my daughter and we actually did this one by mistake. I thought I was
heading to the next cache on the trail and it wasn't until I got closer that I looked at the map and
realised I'd gone the wrong way and was heading to a nearby multi. I started reading the description and thought "Hang on a minute, what's this?!"
I swiped back to the cache details and sure enough, it's a K8 cache! I've just moved 60 kms down the coast and I find a K8 cache?!
Well, down to business, last log was a note from a non-finder and the previous 4 are notes from the CO. I looked at the dates and this cache hasn't been found in over 10 months! "That's it", I told my daughter, "We have GOT to find this cache". Easier said than done.
The reception was really bad due to all the tree cover and had me going backwards and forwards and all over the place. I started just searching every object indicated by the hint and then asked my daughter what the error margin was on the GPS. 8...metres...12 metres..16 metres... I stopped and thought for a bit and looked around and then headed further afield to a spot that looked more and more likely as I got closer.
Sure enough, Mr Wolf is still here and in fine form. I know how his question works but always find myself going round in circles figuring out the answer. Eventually I got the answer from him and we set off towards GZ. Halfway there we came across a small snake lying on the track. I was fairly certain it was just a tree snake but we moved well back and waited for it to slither off across the track and into the bush.
We approached GZ and I soon spotted the cache. I shouted 'Yes!' several times, did a little happy dance
(much to my daughter's amusement) and went in and retrieved it. My first cache in the "15 years of
Unloved Challenge". I was one happy little vegemite.
All is fine with the cache, although as I said I found Mr Wolf about 12 - 15 metres from where the phone was sending me. If you look around the vicinity it does fit in with the description though so that may have just been my phone .
A favourite point from me.
**Note** After posting my log I looked at the previous log to check when the last person was here searching and there are now 2 new logs showing it had maintenance done in the last couple of days. As the cache was stored in my phone I have no idea which set of coordinates I was using.

Gave this one a go on our way out from the park today. Gz was not near any stumps and certainly not near some where to sit. I did almost stand on a snake though which was exciting. Wandered further afield from gz but couldn't locate the Wolf.

Two previous finders confirmed that there is no sign of WP1.
It looks like this cache can only be logged with a PAF for final coords from a previous finder.

We had visited this GZ at the start of doing the HNT. We searched and searched but could not find the original bad wolf. We had to PAF and was able to get the final co-ords. Later in the day we were joined by previous finders who had confirmed that the message from the wolf were missing, however they could still be there somewhere! A short walk in the opposite direction, using the clue and the previous finders showing us the way, we were able to sign the log. TFTC
We spent quite some time here before I suggested we give up looking for the WP and continue with the HNT series. We both contacted a previous finder and I got a call advising the final coords. He thought that WP1 was missing.
Later in the day we met up with Bristracker and Perusal and headed back over here on weary legs. Perusal was first to arrive on her bike and she advised the WP was not where it should have been. The object it was on has been eaten by termites
Using the coords I was given we headed down a trail and soon found granny's hidey hole Now that's a relief! Whew!
We're done in this awesome piece of bushland

My last day on the Gold Coast so time to go and find some more caches in the area before heading off on my homeward journey. A diversion from the HNT trail so I thought I'd have a go at it. I really live this riddle. I first remember hearing it in an episode of Dr Who with the 3rd Doctor (Jon Pertwee). I think it was in the Pyramids of Mars adventure and the answer to the riddle was a matter of life and death. Anyway I was only about 9 or 10 at the time and it was very exciting and this cache brought it all back. It took me a while to work out what to do at WP1 but once that was sorted I knew exactly where to go. Found the cache all safe and sound. Definitely a 'wish I'd thought of that' kind of cache. TFTC, Biggles.
Need to come back for this one. Did not have enough time to finish what I started. Was still fun.
We were in the area to visit Blinky Bill, happily wandering along the pathway, enjoying the scenery, although being somewhat annoyed by some pesky mossies. As we approached an intersection, the Big Bag Wolf made his presence known and suggested that perhaps at Grandma's Cache we would be less bothered by those buzzing pests. He wouldn't tell us which way to Grandma's house, merely offering us two choices. By this stage I had swallowed at least one mozzie and the rest were trying to get into places mozzies should not be, so I grabbed what I hoped was the correct co-ordinates and knocked BB back into a nearby hiding spot.
(It looks like the original stump has completely disintegrated, we left Big Bad in the burnt out remains of a tree about 2m behind where we found him)
Travelling along, the arrow started to count down and the mossie count started to go up. I should have known that BB would lie. It got to the point when we arrived at GZ that we could not keep still. To pause for a moment, was an invitation for the local mosquito population to join us for lunch, with us being the main course. Fortunately we found the container fairly quickly, signed the log and returned the container before heading out of there as quickly as possible. I have a vision of two people walking as fast as possible being followed by a cloud of mozzies, the squadron leader announcing to the rest, "hurry boys, we're losing them". We soon arrived at the car and plugged in the co-ordinates for the nearest licensed premises - a gin and tonic was needed, and plenty of it (for malaria prevention of course )
Thanks for the cache and a great story to be told.

Oh deary me. I do beleive the big bad wolf has been up to no good here. Yhis cache has suffered a few calamities ;-/
I arrived at the first WP and there was Mr Wolf merrily galivanting about in the open with absolutely nothing to hide. It would apear that some thing has huffed and puffed and blown his house down.
After a quick chat with Mr Wolf and some new co-ords to try I rehid him as best I could in the remains of his home. He should be Ok in there for a while.
So, off to GZ hopefully. It was only a short skip through the forest to my chosen GZ. I soon realised I had chosen the right path.
There was a log book on the ground. Oh a ratty baggie over there. Moving closer to GZ I found a puzzle and then the cache lid. Oh dear, has the wolf been and eaten grandma?
A quick scout around and I found the cache container safely tucked away, quite possibly where it should be. Now riddle me this - how did the bottom part of the container stay where it is and the clip lock lid and contents end up scattered several metres away? Certainly not by any natural means.
I do not know if the cache was in the right spot, but the co-ords were close enough that it is highly likely. The log book was in good condition considering it has probably been out in the rain. It was dry when I found it, just a few of the names inside a bit blurry.
I put the log and the toy back in the box and rehid it all. I did not find a pen, so the next hunter will need to bring their own.
Well I guess I can finish this one with an " and they all lived happily ever after "
I arrived at the first WP and there was Mr Wolf merrily galivanting about in the open with absolutely nothing to hide. It would apear that some thing has huffed and puffed and blown his house down.

Out geocaching today with blacknano92 who was visiting from down south. We found the first way point without too much difficulty and set off towards the final location. However, on our approach to the GZ there was noticeably a lot of workmen about with menacing excavation machines in tow. The GPS took us right to a particular location which looks like it had recently been flattened. There were certainly no logs in sight let alone other trees. It appears the cache has been excavated
On day 3 on my Queensland caching trip it was fun doing 63 caches for the day. Some easy and some tricky hides, but a lot of fun was had in the 19 deg. weather. Lot's of walking and a bit of bike riding got the blood pumping. Thanks to all the CO's for their efforts.
Another day out and about caching on the Gold Coast with Poynts95 and Sportacuss. Decided to tackle the HNT series and a few others while on the walk including a nice multi and letterbox cache. Lots of favourite points to give out... We saw Kangaroos, Lizards, a Snake, and picked up a few ticks as well. Had two of the kids with me, James and Jemma (7yo) they had a great day. Between 11 and 12 kms walked, as we went as far as Shores 4 cache. Thanks to all CO's for hiding and maintaining their caches, made the day a great one.

A multi that saw our first choice as a bust. At the end of the day, we went for the second choice, and all was well. Nice one and TFTC.

Oh Grandma, you have a lot to answer for... As detailed by Kaisho53, we arrived at WP1 and obtained the info for the potential finals. Right, one each, lets go... [^]
This is where the comedy of errors commenced. My final GZ was in a tricky little spot and required some good balance in order to avoid getting wet. But... even when close, the GPS is not happy and wants you "over there"... This happened 4 times and I crossed water multiple times, only to realise I was still in the wrong spot... OH EM GEE...
It was now close to 30 minutes later and I was about to make another adjustment in my approach, when the phone chimed and "I have a cache" was on the screen... Thank god for that I thought. Little did I know that Kaisho53 had suffered similar bad luck and had taken a rather long stroll to GZ, when he could have cut the trip by 80%... Oops...
So, names in the log, this would have been an interesting one to do alone. Character Building perhaps...
Cheers K8'n'Co.

Well B was the correct way but what a way..
GPS wasn't playing ball & took me the long way - a way looonngg way around.
eventually arrived at GZ and quickly located a container..

We found WPT 1 reasonably easily after having to go the long way around the creek. Then it took a bit of pondering on the question. ... good guy/bad guy???
Got what we thought was the right answer and headed off, to be rewarded by the cache at the appointed GZ. Phew.
We had to do the mozzie dance as we signed the log..they are thick here!
Thanks K8'n'Co. A fun cache in a great area.
Took the TB.

Second stop for me this morning and I quickly found Wp1 once I got some Roos to move along. Mmm ok I think I'll go with this one so back on the bike and headed hopefully to GZ. Arrived with more Roos surrounding my search area but these guys took off by themselves. I searched around a bit and was beginning to think I got it wrong when ah ha there it is. All nice N dry and waiting for another signature.
Signed away and dropped off the Nederland TB.
Thanx K8nCo

Out for a bit of caching before work again.
I have found a cache before with this question so I knew the answer.
Of course I went down the wrong track and took the long way...but I got there in the end.
Thanks for the cache.

I had taken a look at this one on the map and was still not sure if I would go for it or not. Then after a small chat with Aussie Liahona while getting a couple of others in the area I decided I would go for it, with a hint as to the correct coordinates.
It was a decent extra walk on the end of the rest in the area but did not take a lot to find the first point. From here it just took a little bit of thought to choose the coords that best suited the task at hand.

Well we had a go at this one when we first arrived at the reserve and found WP1 quickly enough. Once we had determined which way to go, Geowife spotted a lake in the middle of the road and refused to ride through it, so we decided to head off back towards the car and do the series up the other end. I headed back to this one later in the after noon and found myself tricked by the wolf and had to review our decision. I decided to try the other co ords and had better luck this time and quickly found the cache. Good hiding spot too.
On the way back to the car, I decided to take the path that had the wooden walkway the the wetlands. As I was flying along the path on my bike (there were no muggles around) I suddenly spotted a snake in the middle of the walkway. It was too late to stop as I was on top of it before I had time to react. I swerved, managing to miss the snake and lifted my legs in the air as he reacted as I flew past, I didn't stop to find out where he went.
Great hide. Thanks for the adventure.

[navy]Captain Terror [/navy]and I decided to head down to the GoldCoast today to clear out a bit of it since I had not really done much down here.
The captain managed to work out where we were mento be going for this one and once at GZ he also was the one to find the cache. this place is really a popular spot for mozzies... BRING THE MOZZIE SPRAY!

Wow, a long way from home for a K8 cache indeed! Out with Egginthesky grabbing some from this area and when I spotted this one next on the radar, I was keen to check it out. I'll forego mentioning the mozzies that were swarming around today as we enjoyed the otherwise lovely boardwalk and path from where we were to the posted co-ords.
It was Miss. Sky that spotted the likely hide and we soon had the waypoint in hand. A quick read and ahuh! I'm good with this type of thing. A quick think and explain to the Eggy one and we'd decided on one of the options. A little further to walk for us along the path, even seeing a wallaby en route. Upon arrival at the final GZ, the chatter was done away with as we looked about. Egginthesky made some comment about it not being where she was looking right as I uncovered the beast. It seems grandma had found the right way and is in a good way still. TFTC K8'n'Co

Mr Wolf had tricked me on my first visit to this one by placing a decoy but I was determined for him not to trick me again.
With some time on our hands Geo Mum & I (Geo Dad) headed out to the wetlands to see if we could pick up a few smileys.
The sun was beating down on us so we decided that we would just make it one for today.
We enjoyed the walk through the bush and my recollection of GZ was pretty accurate and we quickly found it.
The cache itself was cleverly hidden but soon found.
Thanks for this entertaining cache K8'n'Co. TFTC SL TSLS
