Quick find. Container has no lid - had a spare with me but couldn't figure out how to replace current container. Still all dry inside at least. TFTC
A last minute discussion sees me travelling over to the southside to meet up with two of the triple turmoil's. We had a plan to grab some target caches that we both did not have around springwood, slacks creek and daisy hill areas. It was good day and some great caches. It was also good for me as I got another cache for a challenge I have been working on, just one more now. It was an early start and nice and cool, however as the day went on it did get up the on the temp scale. The turmoil's took off and left me to continue on my day. This was my next cache and just a short walk from my parking spot. It was a simple walk and an easy find, a very enjoyable wonder along the path. I signed the log and relaced the cache just as we found it. The cache has been trapped and is now missing a lid. Other than that it is ok, lol. Thanks for the hide and the placement.
Didn't find Tarzan (or Jane for that matter today) but found the cache without any trouble. But had a bit of difficulty extracting the log from the container (which is firmly jammed in position). I should have brought tott with me, but managed to use my pen to extract the log. It formed a double purpose by allowing me to write my name! TFTC, Straddie Heaven.
Today's my Birthday and with a day off work booked in I finally decided to pull my finger out and go caching, it's been awhile.
This one wasn't the first one planned out ot the three but some muggles made me change my plans. Of course they double backed so I had to pretend I was interested in the fig by taking photos. Don't get me wrong, it's awesome and I love how the cache has ended up. So much so I'm dropping a favorite just for that, even though it's a beautiful area for a walk.
It took me 2 searches between walkers but I found it.

Almost back to car. Has been a long day caching. Found quite easily once realised it was a micro thus not likely ro be low. TFTC
Out exploring the Logan area and came out on this beautiful walk. Love it! TFTC.
Out and about collecting smilies to gain some elevation to help "Reach the Peak" for this month in the new souvenir series.

As much as I would have had a proper look. Everyone and there dog were out in this section of path today.
Out for the day with nikid1 for some target caches & whatever else we come across. Took us a bit of searching to find this one, looks like nature is taking back control here.
Thanks for the cache Straddie Heaven

Out for a day of caching with KerriMG.
Didn’t hear any whipbirds but did find this cache. Won’t be long till this one is swallowed by the vines.
Interesting watching nature at work.

Catching up on some logging today, so a bit of a generic log, I'm afraid.
hatzofff decided I needed to get out.
Log signed and cache replaced as found on May 25 2021. TFTC, Straddie Heaven.

Out for a good walk today in this park with our geocaching foursome. Nice quiet walk today with the park virtually to ourselves.

One of the triple is at netball for a few hours so two of us will fill in the time with caching in the area. Thanks for keeping us busy.
Love how Tarzan's TOT has taken full possession of the cache. A guardian of the cache.
Log book very damp and very difficult to write on.

Nice easy find. A bit different to where I expected it. Not at ground level. TFTC
Out for a lovely walk today in this area and so we stopped to find this one. It took us far too long to eventually come up with the goods!
Eventually we were able to add our name to the log. It looks like nature has really got involved in this one.
Log signed!
Thanks

A case of nature striking back....
After completing the nearby forest with friends a couple of weeks ago, I took the opportunity today to collect this walk that we didn’t quite get to...
The log is quite damp, I’ve replaced the snap lock bag and added some silica... tftc...

Doing our daily exercise in this area. A good walk in both dry bush and among the lush greenery along the creek.
Another cache that just happened to be along our walk here
Thank you for this one

Found quite quickly and with my tweezers handy, I was able to log this one. Tftc and utv
I spotted a rusted out car on the way down to this which helped give the muggles time to walk past. Arriving at GZ I quickly spotted the cache which the strangler is not letting go of any time soon. It was full of water and the lid is missing but the log was dry. Thanks for the cache
Took me 10 minutes to find when my daughter was waiting on the side. Asked for help and she came and found it in 50 seconds. Great hiding place.
Easy find. Good to have a set of tweezers. This cache ain't goin'nowhere!
Fairy log along the way.

Headed down the path to this one and found it quickly. Think I got lucky here as this could have taken a while. A nice hide, and a nice area to take a walk in! TFTC!
Got lucky with this one. Came in at the right angle the first time and spotted it right away.
A group of walkers appeared as I was signing the log but the tree was good coverage.

A very clever cache. This is a second attempt. Finally found it! Spotted a few bird nests around the cache too. TFTC.
Over from NZ to try and escape the cold windy wet weather, but I'm not sure we totally managed that. The forecast for today was showers in the morning, clearing after lunch with very little chance of rain during the afternoon.
Yeah, right...!!! Headed off for some bush trail walking in the sunshine just after 1 pm, but by 2:00, the one shower for the afternoon had arrived and it stayed for the rest of the day, so I was quite wet and bedraggled when I got back to the cache mobile just after 4:00.
Luckily, this cache was an early one on the trail and the sun was still shining when I spotted the likely looking stranglers. No sign of Tarzan this time, but the very secure cache was soon spotted, the nice new dry log signed and replaced, without any sign of muggles to worry about. TFTC

I love how this cache is now a part of the environment! It needs a new snap lock bag as the one in there has holes and is all wet. We replaced the log but don't have any bags on us.
Apologies for the late logging of the cache.
Well with the day washed out the previous weekend, we were greeted by a sunny fine day, so we set off and collected some great smiley's around Cornubia!
Thanks Straddie Heaven for putting out the cache and the hunt!

This was a nice quick find when out on my adventures. Unfortunately, this cache is dripping wet and really needs some TLC!
This cache was part of a little Sunday mid-morning forest run.
It was one of those days... You know the ones. Where you just wake up and a have a craving to grab a few caches. And not only that, but a need to get out into Mother Nature and detox from the week just had.
After waking up, a quick check of the map was had, and this area stood out as a great little pocket of caches to grab. It was not far from where we were staying and with the Muggle Partner out and about, it allowed me a few hours to do a little hunting.
Thanks for the cache Straddie Heaven.

Sorry about the generic log on these few. Out and about again over this way this morning grabbing some more daily caches to keep my streak ticking along
I parked out on the road close to the entry track by the creek. A nice little area through here [^]
A light fall of rain while I was caching, but not enough to send me running back to my car
All the caches today were pretty easy finds with good coordinates.
Log books signed and dated, and all replaced as found ready for the next geocacher to come in here and find them for themselves [8d]
Thanks for the cache Straddie Heaven

Catching up on logs, found under my former username Black Flag 001, nice area, TFTC.
What a great use of combining a cache and nature. Had read that the container was missing a lid and after finding it saw what they meant. It just so happened I had a spare container to replace the broken one so all good now. The log was a little damp but still writable. Signed and returned, TFTC.
Took us 2 goes, but we got it! Very sneaky, very camouflaged! Good hide! GPS coordinates were a bit off.
What a lovely area. I didn't hear any whipbirds today but there were several kookaburras laughing at me in the torrential rain. The cache was in a great spot and all was nice and dry.
Great hide. Yes. Strangled is the right word.
Lovely walk. Never knew thus place existed. Geopup enjoyed the new territory.

Our daughter (Coucho90) and her partner (Jarred86) are up baby sitting for a week and were free today to do some caches with us so there was no stopping us!!!
They were staying up this way so we arranged to meet up and grab some caches in the area most that we (Couchmen) hadn't found yet.
This was our first so we chose our parking spot and headed in on foot.
It was a beautiful day and very pleasant walking thru the bush that is looking so green!
We soon arrived at GZ and started the search, eagle eyed Geo Wife was first to spot it but let us all look for it to enjoy its placement!!!
We were all amazed at its location and wondered how it would be in years to come!
Thanks Straddle Heaven TFTC SL

Woke up to some much needed rain. After a brisk 390m walk to the GZ in the drizzle, it had me scouring in the obvious spot. About to class as a DNF after 10min, then saw the cache - at one with nature. TFTC
Isn't it lovely that the people of suburbia have such great little swathes of heaven to stroll through! This is sweet and we had a great game of hide and seek on the way to GZ while listening to all that whipping! No problem finding what we were after - that little container isn't going anywhere in a hurry, well and truly strangled All in good condition here but our traveler was a tad too big to drop off so on we go... Thanks for the cache!
Very cool. Nice quick find while out for a walk with Little Man Canters and Little Little Man Canters. TFTC
