Found it! A nice spot here hidden away! Accurate coordinates led to a quick find in the first place I checked. TFTC!
Day 3 of my Great Leap Forward 2024 trip. Snaking my way around the countryside. After a full day if caching I was still looking for a place to hang my hammock and so far SA has not been that great for it. I was also scanning the map for counties and happened to see a lonely cache in what looked like a bit of bush. Yay. Got here at dusk last night and set up camp 21 m from the cache. Levy Creek is totally dry - as are most if the creeks I saw in the last few days. Had a good night. Have yet to ID the owls I heard. It was a quiet night except for some teail riders at 2am (!) going past on the road (?). Quick find in the morning. Also did some birdwatching and am now planning my day. Found during a caching trip along the backroads up to Dutton and Mount Mary for the day. Thanks for the cache mabar & matmob!
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
It was a freezing morning in the Barossa but the sun is shining and the day is warming up nicely, perfect for caching. TFTC.

After a freezing night we headed out early with iluvtrekking to explore the surrounding rural areas - our kind of caching. Thanks for the hide mabar
A quick find while out with the Rat. Thank you for the placement of this cache mabar & matmob find number 7439 at 10 March 2021 11:46 am
After a fantastic lunch event earlier we teamed up with Mattycat and JEM for a afternoons exploring. a quick find as we explored the area today was very dry and evidence of a popular area for trail bike riding although very quiet here today

Definitely a nice spot but would look great if it had water in it. Lots of motorbike noise in the distance but no muggles in sight.
The logbook was signed & dated before being returned back to its hiding location

My 6yr old daughter seems to have a knack of finding these before I even get a chance to look but found 27/6/2020 when we were took the kids down to do a spot of motor biking
Another fine day out with SA Sewer Rats. Beautiful weather, a DNF rectified and a swag of caches with views. Perfect! The roads looked a little dodgy, so the duo walked in where bikes had previously been for a cache that has seen better days.
Another girl's day out.
The weather was lovely, good company.
Took a quick stroll.

Looks like a great place for riding a chook chaser.
Thank you for the cache.
Thank you for the cache.
This was the first cache for the day, made the short walk to GZ and find the nicely hidden container.
A nice day out caching around eudunda and the surrounding areas, despite the on and off rain all day majority of the caches were easy enough to get to. Total of 39 finds and 1 DNF.
Thanks for the cache

Our visit yielded dry tracks and dry water holes but we can imagine the fun to be had here! TFTC.
Out motorcycling with Geodad. I decided to take a break and see if there were any geocaches in the area by some random chance and there were. Did not sign logbook as I didn’t have a pencil, and there was no pencil included, so instead I took a photo (Of the cache, not the hiding spot). TFTC.
Day off today so why not geocache, heading north again to get rid of some of those greenys and turn them yellow. This cache was certainly a stretch.
Quick run after work with Jack brought me here.
Was a nice spot, the rain had brightened up the creek and could almost drive right up to the cache which was a quick easy find. Somewhere in the distance could hear a trailbike, but not a soul to be seen.

Found It!
I arrived at the creek crossing near GZ and thought "I've been here before!" I came here last year but there was someone camping on GZ so the cache wasn't found that day. Today I had the place to myself so I wandered in and soon found the cache!

Was about to go looking. But saw a snake so changed our minds...

With work bringing us to Eudunda we decided to clean up some of the caches off the beaten track and enjoy some of the countryside, this one we parked on the road and walked in, i am glad the bikes weren't running today, from GZ the view upon the water is really nice, lots of rabbit holes just on the other side of the fence and i wonder if they go scrambling when the bikes go flying through here lol . TFTC
This one has been on my radar for a while.
It proved trickier to access than I expected.

No bikes here today, although it looks like it would look like a lot of fun.

I was out for the day with Honeysucker and by the end of the day, I had locus cache'd at 45 finds , 8 DNFs and attended 1 event
We acted like a motorbike for a while but finally had to park and use Shank's Pony to get to GZ.
I managed to get across the mud in the bottom of the creek without falling, too
Shame we didn't get to see or hear the trail bikes that were out here, all we saw was empty trailers
However we did quickly find a geocache

After doing the new series near by we grabbed a quick find on this as we wandered over to an Event in Murray Bridge
This whole area looked like a lot of fun, and I would have love to have taken a bike for a blast around there.
At first, I feared that authoritative wowsers had attempted to fence off the area to keep them out, but later realised it was just to separate the trail riders from the road traffic, and that there was an entrance and parking area around the other side.
I parked the ‘Cruiser on the road at the closest point to the cache and walked in the 100-odd metres for an easy find. Cheers.

Quick find but had to brush away 6 months of cobwebs to retrieve! Interesting spot to visit - will definitely be back when there is water in the creek tnlnsl TFTC
Found on a day out nearby. Beautiful spot but no water today. Took compass magnet, left marble. TFTC. SL.

A little confused by the new fencing. Do hope the cache is still on public land. Lovely spot to be taken too, thanks mabar.
Out with CPWanderer and Aussie M&M for a days caching to forget about work and make it to 900. Great little spot. Pity we didn't have enough time to explore the creek today. Thanks mabar.
This reserve has changed a lot with a new fence on both sides of the road and signs indicating walkers only.
Parked the car and went for the walk to find water in the creek not far from GZ. TFTC.

The GPSR took us an interesting journey here from "The Bower Birds" down many dubious seldom used back tracks; fortunately the recent rain had mostly dried out. A great spot for a cache and with the recent rain still a good lot of water in the creek. TFTC
Found it after a short walk down some tracks. Would be great to see this creek flowing in winter.

A very pleasant area to go strolling about in. The trail bike riders seem to like this place as well with tracks everywhere here.

This is indeed quite a pleasant little spot, we can only imagine what it would look like if it only had water in it. After finding the cache we boiled the billy and had afternoon tea here.
Thanks guys for he cache and for showing us this place

A big thank you to DJC3575 for replacing this cache. We placed this cache with mabar, but as mabar is the official owner we are not able to enable it. Unfortunately, mabar is very much out of action with health problems at the moment, so please bear with us until it can be enabled on line. In the meantime, it is available for all to find!
We can mark this one a find now that we placed a replacement here for matbar & matmob. Its a nice location & we couldnt see it go.
We where caching in the area today & thought we would check to see where this cache should be. Found the obvious spot where the cache should of been. As we were here it was a shame to let this one go and put a small replacement in its place for now. I used to launch hot air balloons from across the creek from here some years ago & it was good to come back. Thanks for placing a cache here.
Let you know the cache was missing not there. When I was accompanied with Everlasting shown her proof that cache definetly missing. Please owner check it.Thanks
Found whilst driving by during the 24 hour educated another muggle at this cache. TFTC
Found with Grandeeze. T=Key ring L= pixie pic. It was a nice winters day out. TFTC
what a fascinating place would love to be here when the creek is in high tide!! TFTC TN L=Pixie Pic SL
All was quiet here today, until we found the cache, then a bike turned up, but didn't come near where we were [8)].
This creek would look great flowing - wonder how often that happens [?][?].
Took a butterfly. Left an animal. SL.
Thanks mabar & matmob.

Think I got some mud from the creek on my Levi's. Hang on... I wasn't wearing Levi's...
Back today and had the area all to myself [^] Was a little surprised as after all the rain they have had up this way the ground was just perfect for trailbikes But still no water in the creek!!!
TNLNSL, Cheers.

We came out to find this today, but the place was swarming with trail bikes , so will have to make another trip. Interesting area.
The motorbikes are back & they had tents set up at GZ as well so I didn't even get a chance to search.
Next visit hopefully!

When we arrived there - there a couple of motor bikes were hooning around so we wait for while until they gone... We walked along to the cache and found it SL. Thanks mabar & matmob for organising the cache and hunt.
easy find at night on our caching adventure to mt gambier!! Took trackables! crashed nearby in the car for a snooze!!! TFTC
Nice spot, there were a couple of "TB's" in this one but they were in a plastic bag and in with them there was a note stating "don't take the game pieces from the cache"???? not sure what that was about.....So I left 'em in there. Then I read the logs and find out it one of them is supposed to be sent on its way toward a cache in WA. Oh well, it's up to the next person I guess.

Damn hot spot today but I can imagine it would be lovely with water flowing....A couple of motor bikes were hooning around which looked like fun. Far enough so I didn't have to gobble their dust..
Clear skies and our thanx to mabar and matmob from TeamAstro.
Lots of rain down in Adelaide but it was very dry here.
Good spot to stretch the legs.
