Im visiting Tasmania with a group of ladies from NZ, me being the only cacher so finding caches has been tricky. We stopped to have a walk to the lighthouse so I ducked away to grab the cache here while they were busy taking photos. A nice easy find and so they barely noticed I was missing
Found with stairman1. We came up to have a look where I was yesterday taking a. cruise on wineglass bay. The weather has turned nasty so we quickly grabbed this one. TFTC
Our last tour day in this beautiful island, we have enjoyed looking at things and finding geocaches, including this one, thanks from a couple of kiwis caching in Tasmania.
Today I went for a walk and looked for this one and soon found it. Thanks for the cache.
As we made our way north from our house sit on Bruny Island, Mrs Juc and I, in convoy with OutbackAx and our daughter visited the lighthouse. A spectacular day for the short walk along the boardwalk. An easy find at GZ, although the GPS wanted us on the other side of the track. We circled around and eventually the offender was located. Thanks for the cache GrandFraginator
22/09/2024 - 11:20On the half day ATV adventure tour and made a lovely stop here for a ham salad roll for lunch.Quick dash down the track to make the find and sign the logmarcussjd9#260TFTC
This was a lovely trip and straightforward to find. We were rewarded with seeing an echidna on the way. TFTC
Thanks for the cache. Signed the log, new sheet required. Also magnet no longer attached, so it has moved to ground level.
We loved the walk around the lighthouse the views were amazing and we were lucky enough to spot whales on their migration. Bonus was finding a cache too, always good to get an old one. TFTC
Log is full... I've added a new one.Great place to wander, the views are really special. TFTC
Log book full and found in plain sight for mugglers ! Put back where I thought it would have originally been with the coordinates! TFTC
Big thanks to GrandFraganator for creating this cache! Your effort brought an extra spark of excitement to our geocaching quest. This discovery was find number 1,191 for us, marking another memorable moment in our adventure. Living and traveling full-time across Australia in our Coaster Bus, we're always on the lookout for caches to uncover. To see more of our travels, feel free to follow our journey HERE...
Sunny day, but kids werent up for a walk. Okay, instead of walking we went Geocaching. Found it. Tftc
Heading up the east coast after completing the 3 Capes Walk. Nice to climb stairs without a backpack!!Easy find. 2 logs inside. Both full and the paper one quite damp. Thanks Jeremy Grist for the cache
We are currently on a eight week holiday which is mostly spent in New Zealand and Australia. However, the first three days were spent in Singapore as a nice break from an otherwise long flight. We had about three weeks in New Zealand which went by too quickly. The remaining five weeks are spent in Australia. Yesterday we drove from Launceton to Freycinet Loge. Today we have a very nice walk to Wineglass Bay and furtheron to Hazards Beach. Not great weather, a bit of a drizzle, but the views are splendid nevertheless. After our walk we drove to the lighthouse for another nice little walk. This cache was visited and quickly spotted. Thank you very much for this cache.
During our two-month trip through New Zealand and Australia, we arrived at the Freycinet Peninsula yesterday. Today we are going to fully enjoy this beautiful region. At the end of the day we will take a look at the lighthouse. This cache was found.**GrandFraganator**, thanks for the cache.
Nous poursuivons notre road trip en Australie. Nous randonnerons aujourd'hui dans le Parc National de Freycinet et alentours. TFTC logue en team Mado et la dcouverte de ces superbes spots.

#2762 This is my day 260, and the longest physical cache find streak so far. I want to see how far I go. I am on a family vacation in Australia, and Tasmania road trip is our main highlight. Today, we drove along the east coast and found caches along the way.Not a hard find. Not magnetic anymore. Log was full as well. Good view.Thank you for the cache!-crystaloops from Taipei, Taiwan @ February 19, 2024 17:46:20
Absolutely the end of the line . R5 was first to get it again and the log was a little wet. TFTC
Found some caches for the first time in a while on this Tasmania trip. Great spot for a cache. TFTC!
Easy find. Thank you! Log it's full, I squeezed my tag in. Unfortunately I didn't come with spare logs. Cache is a bison, not an eclipse tin.

After visiting Portugal, Canada, United States, Puerto Rico, Sint Maarten, Dominican Republic, Jamaika, Mexico, Belize, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama, Columbia, and Fiji we reached our 15th country around the world. I am travelling down the east coast of Tassie, and are now at Coles Bay to see the sights.I drove out to sight see the Cape Tourville Lighthouse, and to find the cache.I found a cache, at the GZ, so it must be the correct cache!Yet it was NOT a "Magnetic Eclipse Tin", it was a (non-magnetic) "Bison Tube" hanging off the pole. So the cache description needs to definitely be updated. Also, although there were two cache log paper strips in the cache, BOTH were totally full!I did squeeze my name in on the margin, but in anycase the cache needs a new log book.
The cache log paper is totally full!, the cache needs a new log book. Also the cache is NOT a "Magnetic Eclipse Tin", so the cache description needs to definitely be updated.
Quick find at a nice location - we spotted some whales and sea-eagles! TFTCralli71
It was a lovely, fun filled week with good friends as we explored Tassie and its many delightful treasures. Definitely a holiday, but a holiday with that type of friend that steps up when needed, so they were very supportive of my need to detour or disappear occasionally for a cache. 'Are you loitering again?' as they called it... my loitering at trees, bushes, walls, signs, bridges, statues... well, you know! This was an awesome walk around the circuit. Loved the scenery, the colour of the water and very pleased to have experienced it. Once we have completed the circuit, I ducked up to find this cache. Very appropriately named too!
It is a cold, windy and cloudy day today. So instead of doing the Hazards Beach loop walk, we are exploring other places. TFTC
Cant believe they beauty of nature could sit amd watch thos place for hours.Make sure you head up to lighthouse for even better views.
Completed with Ricardinho Our last find of the day. Fav point from me for the beautiful location Day 13 of our Tassie/Sydney trip & today is Launceston to Freycinet. A big travelling day for us so we left early. We wanted to check out St Helens & i wanted breakkie & a Chai from the Banjoe's in St Helens After this we headed to Bay of Fires to get an old cache for RNZ & then made our way down the east coast, stopping at any cool seaside towns along the way to Freycinet NP. A big day, but another awesome day!TFTC
Last cache of the day for us.They have done a very good job of the boardwalk around here and the information panels. It was a bit of a stiff breeze today, but clear skies and great views.Cache easily spotted. TFTC Jeremy Grist.Day 13 of our Tassie trip, Launceston to Freycinet. This was one of our biggest travelling days, and we went a bit of a long way.We were keen to check out St Helens, so made a beeline there the quickest way. From there, we got a great old cache up the coast, then hopped our way through some nice little towns down to Freycinet. Unfortunately wifi was out here and my cell coverage was also patchy, hence apologies for the late logs. Added some pictures from our day. Thanks all COs.
Quick climb to thee lighthouse on arrival we realised that we had passed it. So we took in the views an found it on the way back. The GPS was pointing us in the opposite direction. Mr Shadow soon discovered it. Amazing views. Loved the lighthouse. Shame it wasnt open. TFTC.
Found September 28/9/23 @ 6:11 PM.Quick find here after arriving at Coles Bay for a couple of days. Thanks Jeremy Grist for the cache
Absolutely stunning location nearby around the circuit walk. Beautiful in the late afternoon light. TFTC
I’ve had a fabulous day here in the National Park today. Perfect weather. Awesome scenery. Thanks
Spectacular views! It was great looking out onto Freycinet national park where I am going to go climbing tomorrow! TFTC[I'm logging this a few months after finding the cache, but I have photo evidence if the CO wants to get in contact]
Having a brief visit to Freycinet and came up here at sunset ... and it was stunning! the afternoon light made this spot look beautiful. Wandered around the track first then headed to the lighthouse. Thanks for the cacheJeremy Grist ... an added bonus on this beautiful late afternoon.
Caching around Tasmania. TFTC.
