This was a sensational walk. Not jam packed either for a long weekend. Did this one with the whole family, which makes it memorable for me. A fantastic day. There was an escavator up top, which left kids curious how it got there. A FP from all of us.
Found today by Mrs Riddell on the second day of our Bushwalking Victoria Federation walks weekend where the Bayside BWC hosted 20 different walks to all the other BWCs in Victoria.Mrs Riddell was here under the umbrella of the Melbourne BWC and there were members from bushwalking clubs from all over Victoria.Below are some if the stunning views on our walk today which started by climbing up and down Mt Bishop (morning tea on the peak of course). We then crossed the main road and did a circuit of the Tidal Over-Look and dropping down to Pillar Point before our return to the car park. Most of these pictures are from Pillar point. Our walk was about 13 km long with a total ascent of 472 meters.TFTC in this glorious spring day
Down in there area with the family for a few days during school holidays, and surprisingly i haven't scooped up these caches previously. This is a great track and even more awesome lookout spot. Found relatively quickly with a bit of scurrying around the area. TFTC.
This one was a bit tricky! We had to use the hint. Forgot a pen but here is a photo.
Found after stopping to appreciate a near by view.Thanking you for the Traditional Cache that you placed gmj3191
Down in tidal river for the night. The rain had eased off so it was time to go for a bit of a walk. Drove up the road a bit to the car park... It was a quick walk along, nice to see a bit of regrowth happening. Once at the rocks, we climbed above to check out the views. The cache was found very easily tucked away in its hiding place. Once we returned, we climbed back up to get one last look at the views before continuing on. TFTC
Our NEW ZEALAND - TASMANIA - AUSTRALIA JOURNEY takes us to beautiful places and provides us with an incredible number of wonderful moments and experiences.Occasionally we also visit a few GeoCaches along the way. Before breakfast at the campsite, we went for a run...und have put us on the guest list here....Thank you for placing, maintaining and caring snapfish2 from SwitzerlandPS: Translated with the Deepl app
Found on the last day of our camping trip at Tidal River. I always enjoy this walk and prefer the anticlockwise direction, but tried the other way for a change. My daughter spotted a wallaby while I was retrieving the cache. We both enjoyed the spectacular views. Thanks for bringing us here.
After spending the day doing some walks in The Prom, we decided to do one last one so we could find a cache. It took a while to find the correct approach to GZ, but we made it in the end. A great way to end our day.
**#17569** I visited the traditional cache **Tidal Overlook Track** while hiking from Tidal River to Squeaken BeachI enjoyed the wonderful views on the way to GZIt was an easy find thanks to the helpful hintThanks gmj3191, for contributing to the game by placing this cache and for the care of it. TFTCCheers, tante resi
Awesome views, recovery walk for us after yesterdays epic walk to South Point. Signed and returned, then enjoyed the scenery TFTC
Our muggle friends didn't give us enough time to look properly, so this one will have to remain blue for us until our next trip to the Prom. Still, such a beautiful spot!
1 out of 3 is going to have to do today. I tried but couldnt find it. I climb down and around through tight spaces, ripped my shirt but no luck today. Geocaching was the winner today.
I came here a few weeks back at dusk and searched a bit but gave up in the fading light. This time I found it straight away. Happy to make it a smiley. TFTC
Would have been a lot easier if we followed the path around and didn’t go to the left of the rock and up the side….
Found in the perfect state! The very burned tree survived and is now growing quite some leaves but you could still see it was once in a fire
Well that was a climb and a half. But huffing and puffing I made it. Ty for almost giving me a heart attack. Awesome spot.
Marsh flies were also very friendly. Tftc

Found this one today, haven’t done this walk before but it was well worth straying from my normal walk. Very fun cache Tftc
TFCC. Found on a hot mornings walk between Christmas and New Year with the sun beating down, but lots of fabulous views. I enjoyed wandering around this rock looking for it. I reckon I might of been there with my kids 15 years earlier. Didn’t even need the hint!
Found yesterday, just catching up on logs. Great one for the kids clambering over and around the rocks
GPS location accurate but had to go bush bashing a bit good view from the top of the clifftftc
Another stunning spot if only not so windy. Would have been so relaxing to lay on top of big rock and cloud watch.
Awesome spot that I have been meaning to walk to for ages. Camping in atrocious wind conditions the only thing to do was go walking. Spot on coords. Tftc gmj3191

Our first cache of the day! Our first one of our holiday and boy did we pick a good one! The hike was amazing, the views were stunning and it took us so long to reach GZ as we kept stopping to look at the views and take pictures. Once we eventually arrived at GZ we easily made our way to find the cache and found it with some ease, although we had been admiring this spot from afar so of course we had to walk to the best view have a look and of course take pictures! We were so excited when we realized where this cache was leading us! We dropped of a TB. Thank you!
What a glorious spot! I hiked up here while hubby scurried up Mt Bishop, both looking to find a couple more of the Prom caches on our list. It’s a sunny late afternoon and I’ve been sprawled on this giant boulder, catching up on today’s logs. The scramble up was fun and the cache was located in excellent order. Thanks gmj3191 for a great cache
This turned out to be a little adventure that I wasn’t expecting this is great up here. Thanks for showing me this area
Extremely enjoyable walk and great view. Took trackable and heading to cairns qld
This was great fun. Showed two friends how it’s done and Paula Poobear found the right spot. TFTC
I'm told there are some Stone Wombats off the path nearish GZ, but I walked past them. No problems with the cache though - thanks gmj3191
Another delightful spot as there was beautiful views back to Tidal River.
Thanks for bringing me out here as I have been to the Prom on many occasions on the tracks but not to this lookout!
Cache itself was well hidden and in good condition

The family all hiked up here this morning, we had a great time scrambling all over these awesome rocks, what an amazing view! The cache was a quick find, awesome location, Tftc!
Have done this walk numerous times over the past few decades from Tidal River itself, but today was the first time since I started caching, so decided to approach from a different route, parking at the Lilly Pilly car park and then crossing the road and up the link track.
Once I was roughly at GZ (a spot I have always loved), I attempted to cover the last 25m or so by the nearest direct-ish route, which proved needlessly complicted and gnarly, so backed off and continued a bit further along the path then tried a different approach which proved far simpler, and then easily located the container. Met a couple of black-faced wallabies on the way back down too - bonus.
Signed the log, thanks for the cache and the adventure, gmj3191.

I went to a few wrong spots before I found this one. I was determined to find it as I had walked from Tidal River. TFTC

Disabled for the duration of the Covid-19 crisis.
Although exercise is ok, beaches, parks etc are gradually being closed, and we are being asked to stay home.
The possibility to transmit the virus by surface contact exists, so why take chances?
At the end of the day, geocaching is a game, and we are dealing with a serious Public Health issue.
We need to get our priorities in order.
I believe the responsible thing is to disable all my caches, until the crisis passes.
Thanks.

While we spent a few days near the Prom we made some short and longer hikes. This one we found at a great location with astonishing views! Greetings from Switzerland.
From 23.09 until 24.11.2019 Stadibast and I spent our holidays in Australia.
During the first four weeks we drove with a camper van from Darwin to Perth along the West coast and its amazing national parks, in which we made several hiking tours.
After that we flew to the wonderful green Tasmania for a roundtrip lasting two weeks.
For the last three weeks we went back to the continent and followed the South-East-Coast from Melbourne to Sydney.
We had impressive nine weeks in Australia, in which we hiked through various national parks, visited interesting sights and met many friendly and helpful people.
Thanks to all owners for setting and maintaining their caches.

A perfect long weekend to camp at the prom. Unexpectedly, the weather was quite pleasant for this time of year! After a lazy lunch with a friend of godnanny (who has been a ranger at the prom for a decade) we decided to go for a stroll to this cache. The sun was starting to edge down over the horizon, making for some splendid views. I made the last short scramble to GZ where the find was made. Picked up a TB and dropped a few more off. Looking forward to returning to the prom at a later date sans geokids to tackle some of the caches here that werent realistic goals with small kids in tow. A FP from me for this one, my favorite of the 8 or so caches we ticked off this weekend.
Thanks gmj3191 for placing this Regular Traditional - this is find 1152 for BFMC
