Tftc. Cache find #15 for this morning. Fourteen of those were Wingaap caches which are always a joy to find. I really appreciate the thought and skill that went into designing and fabricating those caches. Also thanks to those cachers that have taken over the maintenance of his caches allowing them to be continued to be enjoyed for us new cachers,
Well finding the cut and polish was easy, but the previous comment about a mint tin put me off. So standing there wondering why I couldn't find it and then it was staring me in the face. Easy after all. And fantastic cam. TFTC
Parked a bit down the road to dodge the trail event and made our way up and over the road. Nice easy find and another good cache.
1MinnieMoo I found your cache Cut and Polish on 21/6/2023, 10:25 am. This is my find 5649 and find # 1 today. No problems finding this cache. Steepest track I have ever used. Now to return up the hill or mountain. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
A lovely Sunday morning spent exploring Bellbird Grove with Kolour. We completed the AL and collected some nearby caches. This was a quick find, after signing the log all was replaced as found.
Thanks wingaap for the cache and 1MinnieMoo for the ongoing maintenance.

After doing the AL at Bellbird Grove, Willis007 and I headed up to find a few more caches including a couple of archived Wingaap ones. This was a fun find. Tftc
No need to feel bad about your car. Just look at this one and you’ll feel better about your maintenance efforts. After trying to find somewhere to safely stop my car, I wasn’t really surprised that this cache hadn’t been found for over 8 months. There wasn’t really anywhere safe to park, so we drove half a Km further on and walked back to this one. Good spot, and great work on a realistic cache container. TFTC
This afternoon, with a few errands completed and a pleasant weather afternoon, I thought I would head out solo back to Mount Nebo. I had previously attempted the geocache at that lookout six months ago but it was missing, and it has since been replaced. Then during my return back along Mount Nebo Road, I stopped at a few creative and high favourite wingaap geocaches, which closed out my enjoyable afternoon outing.
I parked just across the road, and walked towards GZ bypassing a section of the fence that had been removed, which made it easy. After arriving and admiring this random wreckage, I soon spotted the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Another well constructed cache! Thanks wingaap for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. If help is required to maintain, then I'm happy to help in the future, or adopt if need be!

Sunday.
Out today with OBC, Mr and Mrs SP were hoping to grab some caches. We were targeting Wingaap caches and anything that looked good. This was one SP had found previously, but it was really good to re-visit this one as it is a fantastic cache and highly recommend anyone pay this cache a visit also.

Heading out with Mr and Mrs SP today with one mission - to find as many Wingaap caches as we could. This was the fifth cache for the day. Wingaap, your caches have entertained and inspired geocachers for decades, and I sincerely hope I have not found your last cache. You're appreciated. I have run out of FPs today, but each and every cache certainly deserves one.
We parked the car a couple of hundred metres away, and then began our walk to GZ.
Approaching what we assumed must be GZ, we could see that the item nearby definitely needed a good cut and polish.
But without the polishing tools, we were resigned to trying to find a geocache instead.
Clearly wingaap has been this way with his cutting and polishing tools, and we soon found his work of art.
Some great camouflage here, and we are very happy to add our name to the log.
Thanks!

This was the penultimate cache on my 22.5km outing in which I grabbed 22 caches. The sun was getting lower in the sky and the air was finally cooling by the time I grabbed this cache. I had completed Shower in the Bush earlier in the day and could definitely have done with a proper shower by the time I cleared this cache. TFTC.
Early morning walk to beat the heat, then a few more finds along the road back down again.
Short almost flat walk here, good as it was warming up for another day.
Thank you for hiding this one.

Was not expecting this! Sour_Lemom had looked around the area but obviously not well enough because I spotted it fairly quickly! Clever container, TFTC!
Great cache I had a look there but did not spot it but erm_the_worm had a second look TFTC
Was searching all over looking for a mint tin lol. Should have realised to expect the unexpected
This cache was guarded by a huntsman but I didn't even squeal (much) this time. Contents were nice and dry, something rarely seen closer to my home location. TFTC.

Sunday. Slow Puncture was out today on Mothers Day with family members, who included a very young member who has really taken with finding “treasures”. After a lovely picnic bbq lunch at a nearby picnic area, and knowing this was a Wingaap cache, we were keen to show young cache recruit, who is only 6 years old, some of the wonderful caches that are out there and especially the Wingaap caches. We made the journey up the hill, to underneath the power lines and then thought, this isn’t too bad… Then we saw the steep down and as Mr S.P.’s ankle was not going to enjoy this, so he stayed at one of the bits where it was flattish and was passed by several people in various stages of sweat who were all making their way to various locations on the paths. Wow! That’s a steep and slippery down (due to the dry terrain). My son nearly took a dive in his 7 year old shoes with no tread and the youngest member was going through stages of ‘I’m going to slip’. Lots of encouragement for him and soon we were at GZ. He pulled out the cache container and we signed the log and replaced as found. No treasures in this one today, but a great cache nonetheless.
This was the 10th of 10 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***wingaap***, for showing us this place.

I was meeting up with K8'n'Co this morning to do a walk along Enoggera Creek and I decided to grab a few caches along Mt Nebo Rd on the way. This one was a quick find. I think it's going to need more than a cut and polish. Thanks
I hadn't intended to pick up this cache on this trip. But being close by after checking out the 12 gauge, this seemed a short walk before I check out a few other unloved caches close by. Went bush and followed the tracks. As I was walking down the slope, just knew I was going to regret picking this one up with the heat / humidity souring and the water supply dwindling.
At ground zero spied where another cacher decided to park close by to collect and left half a vehicle there!! A short search and found a clever container definitely in the rough. Thanks for the cache and container wingaap.

Lucky enough to be in Brisbane with some time to kill. I decided some caching was in order. Gunnie69 suggested I do this drive so up I came.
Made my way to GZ. Navigated the fence again for a nice find.
I can't wait to catch up with everyone again at
[WA GOES BIG 2017](https://coord.info/GC6TD11) in Rockingham, WA.
Perths big event is on again.
**See you there**.
wingaap - Kyzabra found your cache Cut and Polish . The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

Our second last cache for the day but our 4th just one more extra we have had a great day grabbing the caches along here. I knew there was a hill but oh my Lordy! This was just the start of it . Was happy to stop off here and grab this one and have a little breathy. Nice easy find here. TFTC wingaap
Methinks that a cut and polish is the least of what's needed here... Found the cache easily enough, though it is sitting directly over an ants nest. No problem though. Signed log and returned to the moosemobile. Tftc Wingaap
I'm going to assume that you are only responsible for the cache and didn't actually lug all that is at GZ in here, haha. Cool container, thanks for another great cache wingaap.
For some reason when we arrived at GZ I was sure the cache would be found on one of the nearby trees. So whilst I busily searched the trees Mr Scattsmadhouse found the cache and waited for me to realise where I went wrong . Wow a good case of cache blindness for me today . TFTC
Finding this one today is quite fitting. It is the anniversary of "that" rock incident at Bathurst. Lucky for Dick his car is in better condition, but i can see the potential in this. No need for air con.
Signed and returned. Tftc

Parked the car furrher down the road from the GZ and made my up the hill and along th scrambled up the bank to the top of the ridge line. I could see this would need more than a cut and polish! At GZ, another container which was nicely crafted and in keeping of the environment too. Nice work wingaap. TFTC
Amazing what a few years of experience will do for you I had forgotten we had tried for this one in 2011 Geograndad remembered ,although I do not recall the barbed wire fence anyhow success was ours today Will tackle Camp Mt Rd next week TFTC
The findin be easy the logging be not so easy. Great cache and mission impossible style move to access from nearby parking.
A beautiful Brisbane morning to be out and about. Headed to Wingapp territory for a clean up of the outer edges of my 16km map.
Love these caches

Well we are certainly getting a bit of terrain exercise today! Continued on our Wingaap cache day from our last cache and headed toward GZ on some rather up and down terrain. Neared GZ and expected to find a nice rock or something, then our eyes fell on "that"! It all makes perfect sense! Cache located, log signed, photos taken and we were on to see what other caches we could get to today. Thanks for another interesting cache Wingaap!

Found this cache with mum and my brother. It was very interesting. It took us a little while to get to and we had to climb over a fallen barbed wire fence. TFTC and a very good job with the container.

We decided it be would be nice to do a run from The Gap, over Mt. Glorious, to Lake Wivenhoe today.
Every now & then you just have to escape suburbia.
Glad we found this one in cooler weather.
I think this could be a draw card for our scaly friends in Summer.
A nice short stroll in the undergrowth.

This cache would prove to be the last of the day for me as when I attempted to go for the next cache the rain came down something fierce and set in for a bit. I thought, even if the rain did subside again everything was going to be too wet and I thought it would be a good idea to leave the rest of the road for another day.
Finding the cache itself was interesting as I looked around for about 3 minutes as there are so many little places to hide something. Then, with no luck, I decided to step back and start again. Once I did this is was evident as to where the cache was hiding.
Thanks for the awesome caches and for an afternoon of entertainment 'wingaap'. I'll be back sometime in the near future to finish off what I have left behind.
I was down from the Sunshine Coast and staying in the Big Smoke for a long weekend. I am a Coastal/Bush kid and am not used to all of the Muggles that live in the city. They are everywhere... Up there, over there, under there and alllllll the way up there. There are eyes everywhere! After doing a few City caches, I thought 'Stuff this' I'm running away to the BUSH! That's how I ended up out here...
Once again, thank you so much for all your efforts 'wingaap'. This cache is in good order too.

My trip to The Gap to drop off some TBs for an overseas adventure left me with a couple of hours up my sleeve to find some of the great wingaap hides in the area. This one was a quick find, glad I didn't spend too long looking for something smaller, lots of hidey holes. Found the o-ring for the lid on the ground nearby, replaced to keep things sealed nicely TFTC
What a perfect weekend! Two days out in the bush together with my girlfriend, our mountain bikes, our tent and some really nice Steaks. Besides camping in the bush we found in total 34 caches Thank you very much wingaap for showing us this area. Just because of you and your famous caches we visited this area, so thanks a lot.
I had been hoping to pick this one up on my way west along the road here, however had a little trouble finding parking close by. So I made sure to be taking a look at it on the way back East.
I found a little patch to pull the car off and was able to get across with not to much problems, as the traffic was fairly light this afternoon.
Actually making the find here took me a little while, I looked around at a couple of things, but figure where it had to be, but where. I did spot something and made a retrieval with caution. Thankfully there was not really anything else living here Got things signed and all back in place before heading back to the car, being cautious not to surprise any drivers as I come down the embankment.

Part I
Last year when I had been in Brisbane I just picked a place to do some geocaching outside the the city. I hate it to been that man that is walking suspicious around the same spot, no instead I prefer to be in the more quiet places. So I ended being on the Mount Nebo road, where I spotted several.
As all the caches that I did then were fun, I had written enthusiastically to the CO. Wingaap wrote me back to have a coffee, but the main reason for being here was of course work. Work did not allow me to go out again. The "too bad, that's the way it is" turned into "here comes a second chance" because I had to go to Brisbane again for work. So I contacted Wingaap to ask if the coffee offer was still on, and I received a yes in my mailbox. So the decision where to go caching this time was decided (but even without a response I would have gone here as the caches are really fun to do).
We agreed on trying to meet here at this cache, at 11:00. To avoid waiting we agreed on making a start caching, mentioning the car type would make sure that we would find each other.
Well talking about cars, that cache it about the maintenance to a car. Arriving at the cache location I observed that polish wouldn't help here anymore.

Thanks for this cache,
Peter from The Netherlands

!!!!!!!tftc!!!!! popped out again today to get a cache this was just awesome I hope it lasts !! I am amazed at the scene as it looks like a rescue squad has been working on this
#100! Didn't plan anything special but this will be a memorable cache! Found with dr_pepi trin_007 and team__dnf. TFTC!
Out for a day of caching with Mataeka, Dr_Pepi and Trin_007. This was Mataeka's 100th find (I hope I got that right). I'm sensing a theme, we found an abandoned motorcycle last time we were in the area, and a car today. TFTC
Out hunting with Dr_Pepi, Mataeka and Team DNF today, this one was to make the magic "#100" for Mataeka, so we all held back and let her take the lead. Very easy to spot GZ at the top of the track, and we had some fun taking photos for Mataeka's record...oops, but where is the log book...a brief moment later it was found and signed and we were on our way again. TFTC
Out with trin_007, mataeka and Team__DNF, visiting some wingaap caches in the area. Mataeka's 100th cache, so she had finding honours on this one. Scrambled up the hill again, under the barbed wire fence, and located the cache. That'll buff out!

From Gunnie, I got back in the car and drove up the road a little and parked within 100 mtrs of the cache, wandered up the hill and found a good spot to access the cache from. A little circle of gz and I spotted something not quite right, nice cache. Tftc
I come across so many of these dumped in the bush. Even have used a couple for my own caches, their a bit untidy but the wild-life do love them so I'm alway very cautious when checking them out. Went all over this looking for the obvious, but nothing? Hang on a minute what size was the cache? Must be gone. Hang on! Hang on! Bugger me, that's it. What an excellent cache. I need to master the art of this one. Thanks wingaap,
A long day of wilderness first aid training at the lovely Bellbird Grove and what better way to wind my way home than to grab a few caches.
Parked Sooty on the verge and nipped up the slope...
Not sure who was more scared. Me or the giant spider hiding under the cache. We agreed to disagree about who had dibs. Mr Spider ran off and I retrieved the logbook
An easy find here today. Just a few more and then I'll go home. Promise!

Found this cache whilst out grabbing a few early morning caches before I had to head to work with the Wonderful Mr Prime. We seemed to be feeling about the same condition as the immediate area around the cache container by this time of the morning. We had both ran out of coffee and the heat was rapidly increasing.
It took us a little while to find the cache, we actually overlooked it a few times until Prime touched it and realised that is wasn't what it seemed. Thanks for the cache Wingaap!

Took the Geomobile out to Wingaap Way today, with Net88 onboard for the ride we immersed ourselves in bushland from Nebo down. Poor GeoMobile was not looking her best by this stage of the day - a bit dusty and dirty. She needed a good clean really ... but still, she was in far better nick than where we found ourselves now. The parking may have been the issue, although we found a good enough spot nearby. Searched for a bit before something didn't look right, and a cache was thus revealed. And a new level of Wingaap cleverness I'd not previously seen. Continues to impress me.
Thanks for placing this cache, Wingaap. Found in good condition.

Came by with Eggs on a night time run to find some caches along Mt Nebo Rd. Didn't have any trouble finding GZ and soon located the cache. Another nice hide. Thanks Wingaap.
I had made better time than I expected on my ride. This meant I could drive to a few more caches. Another clever one thanks
Found this one with Greatjustgreat. Good workout to get there and back from the national park access gate on the uphill side. Great view from the GC, and a very clever hide. Thanks for the walk and thanks for the cache.
Long been wanting to see some of these "art" caches up in the bush. It was a bit too hot and sticky for today to be ideal but having a caching companion handy was a good incentive - wouldn't want to wander off on one's own and get eaten by a snake.
Came to a likely spot on the road and companion looked dubiously at a steep incline and spied a barbed-wire fence. For a while I was convinced there was going to a be a refusal to go and hunt for this one.
Finally we identified an easier spot for access and off we went.
Companion spotted the likely hiding place before I did. And found the actual cache before I did.
Hmmm. I have been wondering about a cache constructed like that. Another lesson from Wingaap.
Thanks for a great cache.
Took nothing left a coupla path tags.

Rocked on down the hill from Bright Eye's in the heat of the day. A quick buff and I was huffing and puffing my way back up the hill to the car, which was near 245... By the way, that was my heart rate when I got back to the car.

After finding a safe place to park I made the way down to GZ. I certainly agree with the structure at GZ needs a good cut and polish! And maybe a bit of bodywork, or maybe just a good wrecking yard. Found the cache and turned it this way and that as I have been fiddling with something similiar back at the cache creating lab. Yet again another inventive cache!

We decided to do a caching trip around the mount Nebo area today because we heard it was a good series. So with membsec tagging along so they could also grab some caches they had missed lenicka.second and I grabbed the caches.
I love the way this one was hidden. TFTC

Found it on a geocaching trip to this national park together with omaster and membsec. Most of the caches has membsec already done so they were just watching us for the most of the time but there were also caches they havent done. The series was very interesting, the CO must have put a lot of work into this. The forests in Australia are much more wilder and dry so I still do prefere the ones we have at home in Sweden I think . A qucik stop and run from the car. TFTC
This was an ironic find since there were several people on cars and bikes who drove along Mt Nebo Rd today like they were wanting to emulate the GZ vehicle. The cache container also reminded me of what those drivers appear to have lost. TFTC once more WingAAP.
First on a quick afternoon Mt Nebo rd asault with my buddy
I like! Nice little camo there.
Looking forward to finding the rest of your collection up here!

Ok, I've actually found this one before (21st April according to the logbook) but I forgot to log it!! Anyway, to make quite certain (after all, if one is insane, one can't be knowing this, can one?) I checked again and yes, there was my mark in the log, so I signed again on the same page and decided to make certain to log this today! I also dropped off a Traveller (who luckily has a backpack and will be hiking, as this conveyance won't get them far....) to celebrate! TFTC
Wingaap. What on earth possessed you to visit here on a 'day out walking
Glad you did though. Seeing it from a distance I was guessing your plans ahead of time.
Quick find today - I needed a break
Container and contents all in good order

After Mr Parko found a place to park, it was not too far to find this beast. I had to laugh when I seen it locating the actual cache was more difficult than it should have been Finally found it in the end i think it may need a little more than a cut and polish
Thanks for the fun wingaap

Easy find near the road. Wingaap you are a genius. Great and clever caches, weather perfect and a change to travel a road never travelled before by us. Plus great bush walks and the most intriguing caches. We had a fabulous day thanks to an innovative cacher.
Yes it needs it but then go caching for any length of time and your equivalent item may begin to look like this.

Most amusing. Definitely could benefit from a cut and polish! Cache is in excellent condition and contents are completely dry. TFTC, wingy. Yet another clever one.
Had to laugh when we spotted the cache. Excellent disguise!! TFTC. Ps. It is indeed a HK as it says so on the still readable compliance plate.
