Had a good look but didn't find, owner might like to check that it's still there.
Found it, but notepad is beyond salvage. Have logged it on website, though.
Container was located just down the hill slightly.
Have put back in the stump.

9th find of the day, and 3191st total find at 2:24:00 PM.
We guess some animal lives in the stump and doesn't like his back door jammed full of plastic.
Cache was too wet to log, so we added our own log paper.

contence of container scattered around bush. put wet and muddy log back in container and under tree stump. needs repair. Bienvenu
Found this one with Irontoad today. We tipped water out of the cache but it needs a bit of TLC to sort this one out. Took nothing, left nothing and signed the extra log that was put in recently.

#845 Yes, I can see why you called this cache what you did alright!! Cache was full of water and the log too wet to write on - emptied the water out but it needs maintenance urgently. Not sure if the cache is exactly where it was intended to be but I returned it to where I found it - could be a little easy for a muggle to stumble onto. Thanks again sevillegroup - it's great country through here.
Found easily, but the contents were wet. A very nice hiding location - we had to come back to it after getting coffee, as there was a horse (and rider) standing over it the first time round.

I had decided to take a day off from work (being such a wonderful day) and try for 50 finds in a day. Ultimately it was not to be for many reasons, including a few DNF's, the need to pick the kids up from school, and some difficult caches. In any event a good day was had by jsmyong55 and myself and this was one cache we were able to find. Stopped, searched and searched and searched. Found eventually after a few minutes. Thanks sevillegroup.
Trailrunning had asked me a couple of days before if I was free on Friday for a run. I had classes till early afternoon but once he told me its his birthday and he will be aiming for a 50 cache run, I knew I had to have a go at that, eventhough if it meant skipping class.
Aiming for a 50 cache run with only 7.5 hours was a little too ambitious. Of course we did not manage 50 but I got to about 35 which was pretty good. We had started off well in the start, but a couple of long trail runs, heavy bushwhacking and off-trail hiking really threw us off. It was a lot better slowing things down and enjoying the adventure than racing for time.

Was in the area the day before so decided to return today to see if I could pickup the other caches surrounding the Warburton Trail but not on it. There was no way I would ride up this road!, it was fun to drive still. TFTC sevillegroup.

This cache was so obvious when I found it, but it still took a while. Log book soaked, but someone else stuff a bit of paper in for the signing. TFTC TNLN.
I went out today with my new dog, to introduce her to caching. We found this one during the afternoon. As previously commented, the log book is saturated. I left a new piece of paper in a ziplock bag. It does need a logbook, but I had none with me today. tftc, tnln.

This cache needs maintenance, the book is soaked and full of water. Other then that, what a great cache!
I had looked for this before and didn't find it, but this time was triumphant, don't know why I couldn't find it last time. The cache was not where I think it should have been as it was almost out in the open. TNLNSL. David.

I understand the cache name now I've driven here. Managed to park close by and find the cache quite quickly. Thanks for the hide.

Well yes the road speaks for itself and it was hard to park safely. It is no wonder that the RACV says not suitable in wet conditions. After leaving the cache we ran into some trouble and got a flat tire.

Parked a bit away from the cache and forgot to take a pen so scratched it in with my keys very faint.
But can explain to the co why the cache is called snake if they want.

There r 2 reasons why this one is called snake and i really really really don't like SNAKES!!!!! After seaching for a while i was gonna be a DNF but after driving up the hill i realised where the cache was likely hidden and went back for a find. But I really don't like SNAKES!!
Find 7/10 for the day at 14:37. This certainly looked like an easy picking in the cluster of three; until I noticed the windy ascent up the hill. Luckily it wasn't too far up though. I can certainly see where the name comes from! The cache was quickly located, the logbook signed and then it was a free and very quick ride down the hill back to the rail trail. TFTC.
nice quick find tnlnsl muggles have writen in book just asking what game we are playing didnt have info sheet in cache thanks for the cache
Found by edmil and maddie. Maddie and I had noticed a sign to the Seville Carriage Cafe as we came through Seville on our way to an afternoon in Warburton. On a whim we decided to check out the cafe and managed to grab the nearby caches. This was the 3rd we found. We tackled this one after we'd had lunch at the Cafe. We decided to walk lunch off and as it wasn't too far we took a leisurely stroll to the GZ. I was a bit worried about the name of the cache at first but when we got to the area we realised the significance of the name.Maddie spied the cache before I'd even had time to have a look. We signed the log but made no swap.
We noticed that the cache had been placed by Annabella with daddy so I dipped our special Micro Compass Rose Geocoin. A coin that travels around with us and we dip into special caches. Thanks Annabella and daddy for the cache and the walk.

Nice hilly bit of road - Moneydork made a quick find after the muggles walking their dog had moved on. Cheers Gav [6272]
#345 Found at 3.45pm. Once we got to the area of GZ the name of this cache made a great deal of sense.....but where to park was the big question. Luckily we found a spot and aside from a ute going up when Dad was retrieving the cache and the same ute going down when Dad was coming back from replacing the cache (he felt a little suss walking down the road both times ) it was a quick find otherwise.

Headed down to Wandin 4x4 Show and decided to cache on the way home to Bendigo. Cache found quickly and logged. TFTC

Found at 1210. When we arrived at GZ, we managed to pull over far enough to get off the road, and after a bit of search the cache was found. From the title I was expecting something else along side the cache but the meaning was only metaphorical.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Fortunately we spotted the metaphoric meaning of the title and not the real thing! Mv found the cache while I was looking elsewhere, it's a tough spot to get good satellite coverage.

On a day out with Rigger64 caching in the Seville area.
Another quick find in this area. It looks like this is the local dumping ground for all manner of items including a once well groomed pet dog of a well known breed. Was only recent to judging by its condition. So the smell could get worse in future weeks. [xx(]
Left a geocoin, thanks Sevillegroup for the cache.

Found it on a sunny day. I found the Sporty Teddy but didn't take it because I didn't have anything to swap. I think the google map is not accurate because it shows the road as being straight and its not. The size of the cache should be modified from small to regular. I didn't write anything in the book because silly me forgotten to bring a pen. TFTC

Nice quick find - no snakes at this time of year. No swap, but left Cince de Mayo geocoin. Thanks for the cache.
With darkness rapidly descending, we decided that there was still time for one more (after all, there's always time for one more ). The trouble is, a bit of miscommunication caused a parting of the ways at the intersection and while I was finding and logging this one at 17:30, Al was apparently doing the same at another cache not too far away . Oh well, at least both caches started with "S" .
TNLNSL, although our night cache geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks sevillegroup.

11.40am.now this road just got better and better in davids geoprado, i would love to try my range rover up this track, superb especially the muddy bits.we were able after turning round to park right by gz for a search in the wrong place to start with then soon at the right place where there was no way i was giong to put my mits in there as in england all i heard about when i told them im going caching in australia is snakes snakes snakes but the only one i saw was the name of this cache.a very good hide, thought that i would let david do the work on this one.i dropped in a tb "lilly the frog" then we both signed the log.sltn.patandjeff=bones1.
Found by David in company with Bones1 from UK at 1140. Loved the driving approach to this one! The damp conditions made it quite interesting, but nothing the GeoPrado couldn't handle with ease. Managed to park off the road next to GZ. After quickly eliminating one possible hiding place, we moved on to the more likely one nearby. The container was almost out of reach (at least without getting very muddy), so David's handy cache extraction tool was used to make the retrieval a bit easier. TNLN. Jeff was delighted that this was the only snake we found today. Our thanks to sevillegroup once more.

Very snakey indeed. Found at 5pm. We did enjoy this piece of road, incredible. Thanks for showing us. Your cache was found without difficulty, but with a little trepidation. All was well though and we were successful in our mission. TFTC.
We aprked at the top and walked down though the cache never seemed to get any nearer.

We were just driving along thinking about the caches name when the road suddenly started swerving and diving. We quickly parked and the cache was in hand soon after. Fortunately, there had been a bit of rain, as a car came past as we were walking back up.We didn't get dusted.

Found at 1.45pm GAFF1. What an interesting road - we are sure though that we could have taken a caravan down here!
Must admit that every time we have pulled a cache out today, we have been thinking of what sort of snake might be hiding in there!

We found our 9th Sevillegroup cache at 1:20pm as the 9th of 15 on our "Nothing but Seville" midday caching jaunt. A most excellent piece of road (though I did manage to bottom the car our on a large pot hole that I did not see on leaving the cache on the uphill exit). This has to be one of the dustiest places that I have ever seen in my life. The fine dust is up to a couple of inches thick on most places on the road and as the cars are going past it wafts it up onto everything at the side of the road. It is a sign of just how dry it has been around Melbourne lately. Dusty, but a worthy cache spot. Thanks for the cache from D,H & A B-A.

Found at 1204 hours, I missed going after this one the other day when I was in the area for a FTF on Giddy Up Horsey, for some reason I didn't check my GPSr before leaving the area. Wasn't until I got home to log the other cache, when I saw where this was, thought I should go back, but the day was warming up to quick. So I left it to do today, as I was back in the area. Very dry around the area at the moment.

When I saw this one get published, it brought back memories of another cache placed quite nearby. On that occasion, I was on my motorbike and TomTom had (mis)guided me down this loose gravel road from the west and, after going down one steep hill which I would rather not have tackled, I was soon faced with another worse looking one - so I turned tail and approached from a different direction and got the cache ok. Today, I was in my Jeep and, after going right up the snaky bit before turning around and returning for an fairly easy park and find, I'm sure glad I didn't tackle it on my bike that other time!

Thanks butlert - I guess the name refers to the road, but the hiding spot had me thinking snaky thoughts on this hot day too .
