Logs
Happy to confirm this one is still in place and was a pretty easy find after looking at a previous log. Possibly more appropriate coordinates could be:S 027 23.519' E 152 55.610'TFTC! This is find number 431Signed log as KOPHD
From the resent track work I think its gone to the creator of the cache please check this
How can it b th@ its ezr 2 find @ nyt?? I eventually I found it & understood after a few sweeps & reading a VRY useful hx! T4TC!
Well hidden, cords were definitely off but thanks to previous logs and the hint we found it quickly, didnt feel like sticking our hand in there tho! TFTC
Glad to turn this into a smile so tricky but obvious after I finally spotted tftc
Bear0503 , my geo work friend and i met up after work to find a few target caches. We wanted to find old caches and ones with a lot of FP's with a nice walk in the fresh air. We parked not too far away and enjoyed the walk to GZ where we looked high and low and around and around before we spotted this cache. Would be great to find at night. Thanks for all the fun
Out caching whilst on holidays and this was a very tricky hide. Took some time find but finally spied the very cleverly hidden cache. Really enjoyed finding this one.
2nd find on my 3 hour morning walk to find caches. This did not disappoint! I took some time to read through the previous logs and that helped me find where I needed to be. Love this cache!
1MinnieMoo I found your cache Creatures of the Night on 26/5/2023, 2:45 pm. This is my find 5406 and find # 10 today. Took a while to find after reading past posts and viewing the images. Had me about 10 meters out. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
I couldn’t spot this in the daylight last visit but in the dark tonight it was very easy. TFTC
I’d briefly been to this location before and thought it high time to get a smiley face in place.
After searching in the direction my gps wanted me to go, I decided it was time for a chat with my caching partner as she had done this one earlier last year. We narrowed down where to look and we were about to give up, when bam, there it was right in front of me.
Since I have a few spare FP, I have awarded one to this cache. Nicely placed.

This was not an easy cache to find on a dark humid night. GPS was throwing us around the GZ a little. We eventually followed our geo sense and found the spot. A quick look around with the torch revealed something shiny and the cache was soon in hand
I dropped in here yesterday afternoon for a quick look for this cache, but only had about 5 minutes before I had to be off. Today I called in again just on dusk, with my torch, to look for the cache. Unfortunately, the torch that I assumed was charge, wasn’t. To the rescue, my iPhone, which had limited battery. I shone my torch in some likely places, but couldn’t find anything shining back at me.
Back to the track to try to get a better GPS signal (which was misleading me a fair bit), I then continued looking for the cache. Voilà…something shone back at me! Whilst not what I had expected by looking at early photos, it was still a cool find.
Another cache ticked off for my Recommended at Night Attribute challenge.

We headed out this arvo for a walk before the predicted weekend rains arrive. It didn’t take us too long to find but immediately saw how good this one would be to find at night.
Thanks K8'n'Co and 1MinnieMoo.

Bit of a delayed log but I found this one with my fellow Olaves from Ferny Hills Guide Hut. First cache for a few of them, thanks for placing it! TFTC
Would never have found this without the hint, the co-ords and geocaching map would have had me in a different area! Cache in good condition in it’s hiding place. Great concept. TFTC
Collecting a few caches with Deaf Phantom and this one was on the list. Nice walk in the bushland and a quick find too. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
Met up with grannysmith1947 to do a few caches in this local area and we were very surprised by such good quality and assortment of cache containers on offer.
Found our way to GZ easily enough where we had a quick find, thanks CO.

This sneaky creature has hidden from us a few times. This time we had it in hand within about 30 seconds! Sometimes the gaching fairies are on your side.
Found a lovely big hole but no red eyes. Will try and come back for this one some time.
This afternoon, the rain was finally starting to slow to a drizzle, and so I decided to head out for a fitness session during Brisbane's additional COVID-19 lockdown day. My initial plan was Keperra Bushland which was reasonably close to home, and then I continued on to Samford Conservation Park, taking a loop around that hillside.
It was just starting to get dark once I arrived here, and I had really hoped that this would be a quick find. I walked up to the obvious location, but nothing there, although there was some kind of tunnel evident of some sort of night creature, but no cache. I then took a look around the area, before stopping to take a step back and I read the description. I then followed the advice to turn on my light, and sure enough, I must have been at the right angle for the cache to appear out of the shadows. A nice hide. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, although the logbook was reasonably full, and just space left on past logbook pages. Thanks K8'n'Co for the cache placement, and 1MinnieMoo for its ongoing maintenance.

Walked straight past it and then went back to observe area. Out riding the geosteed through the local area. Never been here before and am enjoying my day. TFTC
TFTC took a while because we were looking in the wrong place. Thanks SharkRBLX
Today I ventured out towards Samford and surrounds to grab myself a bunch of old caches and a wide variety of other caches to. It was an action packed day with plenty of highs and lows, literally. I climbed mountains, walked along creeks and did a tonne of bush bashing. It was an epic adventurous day and I had a blast!
In total I managed 28 finds and 1 DNF.
Well this one took a lot longer than I anticipated. I must have walked past this on several occasions before realising it was the cache. Nicely hidden.

Headed out this afternoon for a last minute walk before the long weekend finishes. After finding it we now realise it would have been cool to find at night but as we were walking past it didn't feel right not to make the grab. First find of our afternoon. Hopefully more to come. TFTC
Had a real-life spider jump onto my pants. Quite the scary dance ensued. Kids loved it. Thanks for the cache!
No joy for us today. We came back twice, once with the geokids and once without. Will wait for a few weeks to see if others have more luck.
family day out to finish december for sam
lol
looked up the pic for this one and realise sam has already found it when he first started caching with us but before he had the ap to log properly

Found it. TFTC. The log is almost full, I think I found the only blank page left in the book, so finds not recorded in chronological order.
Found this one today after walking past it like 20 times and then the oh gotcha moment. Quick scan of area for muggles, retrieved cache and signed log. Returned cache and on our way. TFTC from the inspectorrexteam.
Well now, that's just clever! I laughed when I saw this one - I was distracted looking in all the wrong places before I stepped back to survey the area. Ahh - there it is! Geocachers are so clever
Cache and log are in great condition. Loved my stroll through this piece of bushland, amazing weather and blue skies, and the exercise was good for the body and the mind.
TFTC - TB visit x6.

We found this during the day and spotted it’s hiding spot before the container but would be cool to see at night!
Miss 10 was excited to find the cache first out of the 4 of us. Quick find. Thanks
I am always cautions about animals down holes, despite some eyes looking back at us, thankfully nothing too dangerous today. Watch out for the mozzie!!!
Great hide! And thanks for the hint - the GPS had us rummaging for ages on the wrong side of the track
Out for the day with nikid1 collecting some caches to get some souvenirs. Nic spotted this one straight away, would love to see it at night.

Out for a days caching whilst Sandra was having a chilled one at home with the geomonsters.
For some reason this one took me ages to find. I think it was all the walking up hills and down hills that's fried my brain.
Thanks!!

April Fool's LOL … what better day to head out & hobble up & down torturous bush trails looking for Tupperware in the bush?
Having read the cache page prior to heading in here we were keen to see what the cache was.
Spotted the cache quickly from the track.
Sadly we didn't need the torch or the glove & the rating seemed a little generous for this one.
But hey, that's just our first impression & the cache was still worth a visit for a smilie.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

We parked across the road and scrambled onto the path only 50m from GZ. We shortly arrived and spotted the cache immediately.
Thanks for the cache K8'n'Co. This was find #4054.

I truely expected to be here for hours after reading a couple of logs, but I bought my special tot - muggle husband...he has an uncanny knack for spotting caches and he was mighty pleased with the pmg concrete post (cable sign)nearby which he reckons must be 80 years old, so hopefully I can get him out here more often! A tricky wee cache! Tftc
Out nice and early today, trying to grab a few more in the Catweazle series to finally break the code. This was the cache number 4 for the day in that area...
Parked close and walked in. Log and container dry and now has my squiggle in it too.
Thanks for bringing me to this one!

Thursday. Mr SP is in the doghouse for not having logged these at the time. No licorice for me! This one took waaayy too long to find. I ended up paf’ing a previous finder and once I knew what I was looking for, I thought it would be somewhat easier. I had in mind what I thought I was looking for and it turned out to be nothing like what it was when I finally found it! Very sneaking indeed! I think I spent about an hour here looking for this one, but luckily I was in no rush today. So well hidden here, I doubt this one will ever be muggled. I can see why these caches of K8’n’Co’s in this area have so many FPs! These are great and fun to find.
This was the 3rd of 3 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***K8'n'Co.***, for showing us this place.

Out and about at the CITO event 15/09/18 (thanks JACSteam).
Finally found this with potatochips101 (logged as 3k) and a couple of others. Interesting that the gps and three phones were all providing different GZs...! This had us scratching our heads for awhile - it seems the creature of the night wanted to stay hidden. His beady eyes were watching and probably chuckling as we walked around and around.
Finally there was shout with glee . . . and cache was in hand. Very nifty hide . . . a torch at night would definitely assist locating this sneaky little creature.

A not so quick find.....we had found this one yesterday(15/9/18) but forgot to log. Walked past this one a couple of times looking in other various places. TFTC! Found with frannymfrog logged as 3K
Attending the CITO event nearby, we came in search of some trash and some caches. We were actually coming up busted with the rubbish which speaks volumes for the cleanliness of hikers or maybe we just followed someone that had done all the heavy lifting already. TeamARF did end up bush-bashing to the road to find some rubbish.
With three sets of eyes and two previous finders in the group, our search was coming up roses, except those roses had been left out in the oven. We had nothing.
I went to make a PAF to Mrs 4ando for some help even though Mr 4ando was standing right next to me. Who are the experts that think that beer doesn’t kill off brain cells, except us. Finally it twigged for him and my name was in the log. tftc

Being a creature of the day this one took a lot of searching. Gps was bouncing all over the place. I like the container. Tftc.
15 of 15 finds for the day, and easily my longest search. GPS was bouncing me from one side of the gully to the other, and I was also spending most of my time paying attention to some of the darker hidey holes in the vicinity. It was literally just a fortuitous sideways glance that earned me the find here! Definitely easier at night with a torch, I think. Another nice cache, thanks K8'n'Co.
After having a light lunch in the picnic area, I hoofed it to this cache. How cute! Would look even better at night time . I looked for it again on my way back to say farewell. Tftc
