Beautiful spot for a cache, quickly found the log, checked my bag and had an old mint tin so replaced a little more securely. Hope this cache lasts well, cheers

Good cache location and on the way to a very interesting beach. Enjoyed the rock as it made the cache pleasantly hefty.

Sveppi and I dropped off the ferry at 2 this morning.
Stayed in our van at the nearby campsite and after a leisurley morning came here for an explore. My first logbook for a long time, we don't geocache much anymore. Easy find and signed while sveppi was busy taking photos of the view. Overcast and breezy but reasonably mild on thsi Chriatmas eve. TFTC

A lovely area, looking stunning this morning. Had no issues with the find. Little hazy, but the North Island was still viewable. A nice memorial seat.

Nice and hard to find

Took a little look and was super hard with two little ones. Had the smallest on a baby safety thingie so he wouldn't be able to stray. Thanks to Master 4 we had the cache in hand and signed. Beautiful day for it TFTC

Our first time coming here with kids and first time in many years full stop! I hadn’t remembered just how ferocious the waves are. It’s quite deafening and terrifying down at the bottom, hearing the waves crash inside the cave. Cache found by Miss 7.5 and Mr TEF without too much hassle.

Today we went to Monkey Bay and I found this geocache with my family while we walked over there.

First find on the mainland!

Found in a spontaneous walk that started with going to get a smoothie in Blenheim with a friend and turned into an ice-cream and walk … went over to Monkey Bay and part way back then detoured from the seat up an unofficial mountain bike track to the road and looped back at the end to get the find, TFTC.

Since my original plan of being in Auckland this long weekend is not possible, I decided to head South for a couple of days. Took the ferry from Wellington yesterday morning, picked up a cheap rental, and off I went. I was targeting some specific caches for a personal goal as well as some fun mystery solves and some just 'cos. This was one of them.
All good here, found without too much trouble. TFTC

Missing out on the virtual due to not wanting to get muddy but it's great to get this one. Heading to Whites Bay but decided to check out this place. Beautiful. Nice memorial seat. TFTC
