Hi KiwiLeon
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

We found the base of the container but the lid is missing and it is empty. We re-hid it but needs maintenance. Thanks!
Missing the lid and contents - we found the base down the hill and rehid it but it needs a lid and log.
Easily found, however was found open and full of water. The trackable is slightly rusty and log book soaked. Have done a little bit of maintenance however will probably need more. TFTC!
Needs a bit of maintenance as it was found open and full of water. Did our best but might need more work. Thanks!
At a Girl Guides camp, we dropped a traceable here to compete with 4 others in a race around the world.
A quick and easy find, once the couple moved on. Thanks
Today we were cruising around East Auckland.
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

After coming out to Maraetai to join the group heading out to get Oh Buoy, this is the last one to find before heading home. The lid was clipped on properly but cache contents were all dry. TFTC
After visiting this beach many times i had never thought to do this track walk so thank you for bringing me here. Cache still in good condition. And nice hiding spot!! TFTC
Out collecting caches today in this beautiful area.gps was a little off for us when looking for this one but we knew where we would hide it and after a small walk along the area turns out thats where you would hide it too.
Good bit of history in the logbook here. Pleasant find. First cache of the day in the area. TFTC
Got hands very dirty before using some common sense. Then quickly had cache in hand Thank you.
A nice little bushwalk through this spot. Good hint made this a quick find. A few miscellaneous pieces of paper in the cache so wasnt sure which was the log. Signed the original log in the end where there was space. TFTC
The good sized cache was a bit exposed when I got to GZ. Hid a little deeper to make it less likely it will be spotted by passing muggles. TFTC
Ha. Found it easy due to another group getting it at same time! Thanks. No 3 today...
The mosquitoes were saying O man here and were out in force. Luckily a quick find as we were not going to hang around too long. TFTC.
Geowife made the find here, nice and quick - after a lot of time in the sunshine it was nice to be in the cool of the shade of the bush. Good sized geocache here too. TFTC.
Camping the weekend with Vamber at Omana Campsite and joined by yorkshirekiwi83 for the night. Next day we set about collecting the caches around Omana Regional Park. Found after looking in a couple of places, signed log as KKKT, thanks
We were out camping with KirsTim and yorkshirekiwi83 for the long weekend, staying at Omana Regional Park, and thought we would hit some of the nearby caches around the area. Took a few spots to search around before we located what was the fairly obvious spot for hiding the container. Signed the log as KKKT, respective of each of our first names, in order to save log space. Thanks for the cache!
Not many muggles around today so no stealth was required however the tree cover made our GPS a little less accurate than it could have been resulting in a longer search than expected.
Cache is in great condition considering how long it has been here. The log book is full but there was still space to sign.
We haven't walked this pathway before so thanks for bringing us here.

Another year and the first trip for the team out and about while none of us had to work the following day. So todays little jaunt was to be up and arounf the Clevedon Maretai areas to see what we could get before sleep took hold of us. On this adventure in attenence were HKCB, iammrwalker and RWIMF. Departing Hamilton at 7pm after doing the pickups it was with high spirits and high expectations for another good caching year with plenty of miles to be covered before returning home tomorrow morning.
We hoped to get about 50 for the evening and my final taly was 57 finds along with 2 DNF's, not bad for a bunch of beginners.
What a great start, soon started to get into the swing of things and before long we were coolkng with gas.
THanks to all the cache owners whom placed the caches for us to find this evening. Am sure that we will be back again soon to continue our travels

At a recent local Geocaching event I mentioned in passing it had been a while seen we had done any night missions and maybe we could head out for a few hours one evening once the kids were tucked up in bed. Somehow that evolved into me jumping into a car with Cats&Dragons, HKCB and RWIMF at 7pm on the 29th and hopping out of the car eleven hours later at 6am on the 30th. We signed the cache logs RICH an acronym of Geocaching names. I didn’t get as many finds as the others as I crashed and fell asleep in the car for a couple of hours sometime between 3 and 4am. Thanks to all the CO’s for placing and maintaining all the geocaches we found on our trip and for my companions for making the evening so enjoyable. I think it was about 1am when we entered the park and about 3 when we finally walked out again, this was our first find in the park, which we grabbed before heading to the night cache.
I received a phone call about 2pm asking what I was doing in the evening. I said nothing, so the boys said "come caching!" So we did, leving Hamilton at 7pm to spend the evening picking up caches. This was my No28 of the evening. All logs signed RICH
And here we go into the park in the dark! Fun! This one was the first one on the list as we walked around the closed gates.

It's been a while since we have done a night mission, so with a few ideas thrown about we settled on heading to the Beachlands/Maraetai area for a bit of a clean out and to locate the two night caches in the area. The team consisted of RWIMF, iammrwalker, Cats&Dragons and myself (HKCB), which meant we signed the logs as RICH an accornym of our caching names.
Leavng home about 7pm we cached through the night, with the goal to reach my 7000th find, unfortunately the late night counting wasn't accurate enough which meant I was 1 short of that goal, but still 67 finds for the night wasn't a bad effort. We all had a great night, and found a handful of really good geocaches as well. A big thanks to all the CO's for the placements.

We decided Omana looked like a good place to cache with a pretty high density available. This was our first one for the day. Easy find and logged and returned. TFTC
Miss Davieland was out this way for a party so perfect opportunity for some caching. Nice quick find. TFTC.
I went in the wrong direction, but thankfully others were a little smarter. Signed as Team H as we were a big group of cachers
Out with Team Helen (mostly Team Westies with a few extra's from the other side of the bridge). I made the find as others who busy talking and walked right passed. Removed a few lollies that we left.
Lived here for 4 years and never knew this path was here. Good easy find for the family.
My first time walking round the Omana Regional Reserve !
And it won't be my last , as I didn't get all the caches done !
I jumped at the chance to come here with a walking group : did 5 caches while on our 5 hour wander ; then another 6 after the walk , on my own
Thanks KiwiLeon for the interesting History of this area !

Our final cache in the park, we've done all the others except for one we couldn't get to due to the tide. It has been wet all day and we are soaked and ready to get back to the car in Maraetai.
Luckily we had a quick find here. I left a little dog as I see they are allowed on this path. The log book is dry, but people have signed all over the place, so we just had to fill up one of the many gaps. It is great to do caches that have been in the wild for a while, they have a bit of history.

Very clever title. Nice Sunday spent walking the dog and doing some caching. The GPS was playing up something chronic today but husband had his radar working and cache was located in no time. TFTC.
Caching around Beachlands today. Such a nice sunny day to be out. A nice quick find today.
Thank you KiwiLeon for adding to the enjoyment of the day with this cache. A great though extremely hot day out with garball and the dogs.

O man, it is indeed a cache! We're in an unfamiliar part of Auckland and we greatly enjoyed the perimeter walk with our dogs and casaba3 this afternoon and this is the last cache before reaching the car again. Had to backtrack a little as the GPSr was put a bit out. No worries, found soon enough, signed and replaced. Thanks for adding to our adventures today KiwiLeon!

O man, I found it! No more walking barefeet on these trails, I put my shoes back on.
Thanks for the cache!

geocaching from early morning, our 4 year old gets so excited when its a larger container, as she can do some swaps. GPS was moving here and there under the trees, but managed to find it easily, with the help of the hint. tftc.
Should have checked the details and the maps online before we got here. Tries to access this from the closest road point only to realise we would be bush bashing and that was not necessary. Re parked the car and was quickly on the trail to here.
This was our last find in the park today. It was starting to get dark when we got here, especially under the trees, but we searched all the likely places and soon came up with the cache. No trackables seen in the container. Thanks for the cache
Down in the land of Auck for a few days. Sun beginning to set and looking forward to staying in this peaceful spot for the night. Just enough time to hunt for a cache before it gets dark. TFTC
