Very nice and fascinating is this is wonderful area of Don. I loved some of the names of the properties that included the name 'Don' in them . Parked as far off the road as i could, then a swift find was made. The log was signed at 10:49 on Tuesday 23 April 2024.The cache and contents are fine and dry TFTC thistlecat and virga13
In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Out with christant2017 and happy to take grand daughter to find this hide. She was happy to see a possum asleep in the tree but wasn't disturbed by us making this quick find. Thanks thistlecat for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
Out grabbing this cache with Happy Feet 1 late this afternoon. Saw a possum a sleep up in the tree but didn't disturb him. Thanks for the cache.
Husband was more interested in the pivot in the next field. Nice quick find TFTC
Thanks for the cache.
In the area with my two GeoGSP's and stopped by to search for this cache. Referred to previous logs and found the cache pretty quickly. Must have been at the right height.

First cache for the day in my area headed to the spot ..nice quick find great view up there ...Tftc
Thanks for the cache thistlecat.
Luckily a quick find by my colleague, as I prefer to not be searching so close to 'locals'.
Cheers, EPs.
Found with AlbyDangles on Day Three of the 'Bust' leg of our "Kempsey Or Bust" tour; as Covid-19 cancelled the Kempsey Mega event this weekend. Headed towards Latrobe today to attend a couple of events, and to find whatever along the way.

Scouting out a few caches in the area and thought I might cut both ways and find your cache thistlecat. Nice big tree this one and a great view overlooking the valley. All good with the hide and the cache thanks for the smiley.
Found with no difficulty, however the coordinates were a few metres off.
Out and about on a freezing morning, to find the caches required to solve the Mystery at the Museum challenge. Managed to find all caches that were searched for, each very quickly (7 finds, no DNFs)
This cache is in good condition, but the trackable listed is not in the cache.

Our last day in northern Tassie we cached along the coast east from Goat Island to Don. We found a great variety of caches, learnt about the history of the area and enjoyed the brilliant coastal views while managing to dodge the showers. Great views.
Satellites today had our GZ 13 metres west of where we found the cache.
Thanks to 'thistlecat' for placing this cache on the geo-gameboard.

A great day out with JL Rockstar today to collect some caches around the Devonport/meander region. The main goal was to attend the event in Devonport for a very important 75th birthday.
Overall we found a total of 45 finds with 2 DNFs along the way.
Down a road we had never been. TFTC

Having a rest day and enjoying some local caches before the rain sets in. We had to wait for a brief shower before grabbing the good sized cache from it’s safe hide. Thanks for the cache
My phone is running out of charge so I have to “wing it” . Thankfully this was an easy find exactly where I thought it would be. TFTC
ell we've known about this one for years but haven't been into geocaching until our recent 5 mnth trip to W.A. We got the bug in Dongara/Port Denison and have been having fun since. This is our first back on home territory. Cache still there and in good nick. TFTC.
Tasmania Trip Day 9 - Today started with a trip to an op shop to get a new handbag for mother and then we started our trip from Ulverstin to our Meet and Greet at devonport. It was a nice day for the trip we started with a DNF and finished with a series of finds.
On we go another in the smilie coloum claimed.
Thanks thistlecat and virga13 for this interesting place to stop and cahce.

Hi there thistlecat.
We found your cache **"Cutts Both Ways"** at 10:36:00 AM today. (This makes our grand total 18953).
We are camped in Ulverstone for a couple of nights, and headed to Don to find some caches We thoroughly enjoyed our stroll around the area and ended up finding a variety of container types, and sizes on our journey. Our find count for today was 6 caches, with 1 DNF's.
Thanks for placing the cache here. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** We took some rubbish out of the cache.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
**Grabbed Trackable:** "Quit Bugging Me".
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

We found it, despite the coordinates leading to the wrong side of the road, if it weren’t for the hint I doubt we’d have found it.
Cool spot, and a great view of the dead centre of town

Back home after being in Tassie for a holiday, now the daunting task of logging all our finds, sorting through the scraps of paper with notes on them.
Had a few days of sunshine, a lot of days of rain, ended up with just over 105 finds all up on this trip, and visited many tourist spots in the north of Tassie.
found this cache in good order
no muggles about. Quick find.
thanks to CO's for this cache

Was about to give up on this one when I thought I'd read a few logs and then I realised I was on the wrong side of the road. After that it was a nice easy find. Thanks for bringing me here. A very pretty part of the world.
Usually groan when I come across caches hidden in these. This one wasn't too hard and quickly had the cache to hand.. thanks..!!
So my brother and his children have joined me on a trip to Tasmania from Mount Gambier in South Australia. My niece and nephew are getting very good at this treasure hunting.
Thanks to all of the hiders for bringing us to so many fantastic places.
Picked up TB.
