Container was shot and logbook wet, so gathered all the swag, put it in a new container with a new book
We replaced the old cache container with a healthier version. You could say we did some renovating Heading home, the long way, after an adventure along some dirt tracks, through the galaxy and along the black tar to find a number of caches to claim a few on our maps.Lots of giggles were had, a morning event attended, a number of finds and a tasty BBQ on the side of a dirt road for lunch, .An excellent adventure was had for the day by all TFTC FLIPPER&COKeep smiling
Found with The Rats, Hoojar and Wilbert67. Another big trip some time in the making to get some good numbers. Plenty of solving and working out final coordinates, packing lists and arranging transport from New South Wales to some of the mallee country of South Australia. As always plenty of laughs and great company. As always a variety of types and hides.Unless otherwise flagged cache found all ok. Thanks for placing these series.TFTC!
The temptation of finding nearly 1,000 caches on a road trip in South Australia was proving all too tempting. So a date was set, flights were booked, and a car was hired. The Rats, Steeba, Wilbert67 and I were off to tackle the On Ya Bike series, and surrounding caches. Cache logs were either stamped, or signed GG (Gong Gangsters). We covered a great many kilometres, finding caches and enjoying the scenery. We camped under the stars. We enjoyed cold weather, rain and a winter heat wave. We cached in the dark. We cached in the light. We found some ordinary caches, and some brilliant ones.As is so often the case with our trips, the banter was constant, the jeering persistent, and the company excellent. Mind you, it is a lot easier to listen to Rugby League on the radio in the great State of New South Wales! This boiler-plate log does not take anything away from some of the excellent caches that we found, and I am appreciative of all of the cache hiders for their efforts in placing and maintaining all of these hides. We all ticked over mini Milestones during this trip, but notably I found my 20,000th cache. A Milestone I am very happy to have shared with my mates; mates that I have found thousands of caches with previously. Heres to many more caching adventures!Cheers
Ahh a long weekend caching in South Australia with the Gong Gangsters is way too good an opportunity to pass up. With dates set and leave passes granted we managed a 4-day caching spree - targeting the On ya bike series. The variety of finds was wide and diverse, we travelled with our own totts. Our finds are logged with our Gangster stamp or GG on the smaller logs. Thanks to all the COs who provided us with a great weekend, filled with laughter, banter and much more that cant be said. Thanks to my fellow caching buddies - steeba, Hoojar and Wilbert.TFTC
Find # 14708Been a while since I've been out solo for a long trip. But things change over time. And I'm living the past.So with some time off work, I've jumped the border wall to chase down some long trails in South Aussie... don't know how many I'll get. But I've got quite a few downloaded. I do have a short hit list ( of 2) caches to help with a challenge. All others are just for the Adventure and countryside views. Armed with all the necessary TOTT from tweezers and magnet grab to 6m ladder and 8m fishing pole. I believe I'm prepared for all that I'll come across. (Just had to leave the Kayak at home )Day 2. Murray Bridge to Swan Reach, via Nuriootpa to visit Geostuff.Managed to get my hit list, of 2 done today... a few others thrown in. A couple of short sharp trails and the fireman's hat.... then focused on the high Terrain "On your bike" caches west of Swan Reach...TFTC FLIPPER&CO
Today out and about on 166 of 183 days to get my daily cacher Sapphire Using my Garmin Etrex 22X and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cacheTFTC

TFTC FLIPPER&CO your cache Come Renovate White With Me that we found today. The geo-vehicle was picked up yesterday afternoon all good to go the mechanic assured us. This morning we relocated to join the other crazy Canberra bound cachers at a farm block just outside Sedan. Along with Wollaston we headed out for an afternoon of caching in the sun in a loop around Sedan. A successful day with 39 caches found.Find Count: 18765
After a week of caching around Adelaide incorporating The Great Leap Forward event, HansandLinda, MeandDe and I moved camp to Sedan to capture some more targeted caches. HansandLinda & I tackled this one today. Another great day for caching. TFTC FLIPPER&CO
I am trying to make the Feb29 Mega in Adelaide my 20,000th find, and that means keeping a close eye on my numbers. So this is just a temporary log to help me keep my numbers accurate. I'll expand on this when I get home.Find # 19911
Appreciate this cache. A welcome break from the nearby Bike series.Out with the Seagnoid and Munja doing an obligatory run-for-numbers trip! The noid, trying to reach a goal, was like a person possessed in the heat of Australian weather - Munja and I did dutifully voice concerns about the amount of energy he was putting out ( fast fwd to 8 March and the noid was not a well person from over-doing it!) After spending a couple of days in Swan Reach, we were making our way home to Adelaide. My L platter son was going the driving so we made a stop here for a break and a cache. Quick find here. Thanks for the cache FLIPPER&CO.# # #13953 # #

We have renovated a few colors now.

We have discussed who we think might have lived in these renovator delights or more as to their wealth. This house doesn't seem to have as varied a shape as some of the others. Maybe not quite as wealthy. Regardless, hats off to all the pioneers. We both are sure that we couldn't have lived as they did. Thanks for the cache.
It is hard to imagine how hard it was for those that lived out here. I am in awe of the perseverance of our pioneering families. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for so long.

There is a group of us gathering in Sedan to make a start on the On Your Bike Series as we have arrived first and there is no sign of the others arriving we decided to head out from camp and find some of the many available caches in the area. All the caches we attempted were found and signed. Any that needed containers or logs repalcing we did this. SL TFTC
Adelaide and South Australia Trip Christmas 2021/2022. Day 17. The next phase of my journey is underway. I was with Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Sol de Lune and Smitten Granny to attempt to finish the On You Bike where-i-go caches. We have managed to solve them all before we arrived. Day 7 in the River land. As we had accomplished the On your Bike caches, the others headed back east to stop at Mildura for the paddle steamer caches, but I am based in Adelaide at the moment, so could not go. This was my last day up North, and I spent it around Sedan tackling the caches in that region, before heading back to Adelaide stopping for some Labs along the way.
This trip to Loxton had been a year coming as I had missed out last year due to other commitments. The group had increased and the target list of caches was much higher. It had been a group effort to deal with all the jigsaw puzzles and then the Reverse Where-i-gos were sorted out with the various online tools. The trip was looking at risk as the COVID situation stretched and stretched, but at least SA kept to its plans to open the borders and we all jumped through the hoops required to get across the border. The weather was looking extreme as the journey approached and it did not disappoint. The daytime temps were from 36-42 over the days of this exercise and it made for some hard work and lots of water usage.
Thanks for the cache FLIPPER&CO

Owl, CPWanderer and Gizmo's Gang met for their final onslaught on the wherigo series. Steeled against boredom, they bravely soldiered on, completing all the ones they wanted and a few extra pole and ladder ones to fill in time. With light still available on the way home Owl planned to cache along the way. However after this cache the heavens opened so it was actually the last of the day.
Found logbook on the ground without a container in sight so we have placed it into a 200 ml sistema to keep it safe and dry.
Thanks FLIPPER&CO for the placement.

Today I headed up to Sedan and surrounds to get some numbers to help me reach my target of 13000 for the year. I also needed a multi for my calendar and there were plenty to choose from up here.
It was a great day for caching, blue skies and sunshine but not too hot, although I did get a sunburnt arm through the car window.
Lots of great caches and didn’t see any snakes which was great.
All up 48 finds for the day. Thanks to all the CO for their efforts really enjoyed my caching today.
This one in desperate need of TLC TFTC

After packing up this morning, we headed off with ilook4geo to add some more caches to the tally for the day. This one was a nice quick and easy find and all was put back into place after the log had been initialed to represent both names.
Not sure that these buildings could be renovated now and they may even be beyond the skills of The Block contestants. Thanks go to FLIPPER&CO for placing this cache.

Out on a caching hunt today, along with goingplaces2, and we covered quite a bit of distance as well as finding a good number of caches. All the logs were good and we signed each one. The sort of renovation needed here would be beyond difficult. TFTC.
Found on the way home after a visit to Swan Reach Conservation Park on a FTF hunt.

This was found by accident by us. Decided to join in, left a little token behind
Wandering around the countryside today as it's the last day with the rental car. Ended up out this way and as we have cleaned the car we are trying to avoid any dusty roads. This means a very big circle but that also gives us some interesting cache finds. Another property down. tftc
Hmmmm....well it certainly could do with some work - nice series checking out these old structures.
What a fabulous day out...so fabulous that we stamped 98% of the logs as "Fabulous Randoms" (the others we wrote our names).
We completed 3 OTD series, picked up the tribute series to the US iconic trails (ET Highway & Route 66) and stopped to find a number of other random caches including ones with high fav points or interesting D/Ts. Over 160 finds - it was worth the 5am start (to try and beat the heat).
Thanks so much for the cache FLIPPER&CO! [^]

A decision about a day of caching with Goodlook was orgained in the not so distant past to clean up some caches around swan reach and murray bridge.
A successful with no DNF’s and 165 caches finds, completing 3 on this date (OTD) series and some of the fruit loop with a few trads along the way.
Majority if the log books were stamped with FABULOUS RAMDOMS and 5 or 6 we wrote our individual caching names in.
