I am regretfully archiving this cache since unfortunately there has been no action to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, CatWomanAU, requesting additional time.
An ample opportunity has been provided for the Cache Owner to respond, but since this opportunity has been ignored, I can only conclude that the cache has been abandoned.
Caches archived under these circumstances are unable to be Unarchived, and this location is now available for the placement of a new cache, by somebody else.

###Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###
This geocache has been brought to my attention as being in need of an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache.
I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner.
The cache owner needs to:
* Investigate the situation and either restore the cache, or address any other issues, such as correcting the D/T rating if necessary.
* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log
* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done, and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present.
Otherwise :
* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary, or provide other information..
**Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this, that is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**.
Alternatively:
* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.
In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by CatWomanAU and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.
[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)
**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.
If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache.
*Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is there, and in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.
Thank you

This cache might be about time to retire or at the very least be replaced, the hint is helpful but the coordinates were off 30m. I understand that it's been here since 2009, but all that's left of the cache is an icky mess.
Lovely beach and a nice walk. Did a circle along the beach and up the steps to the cache, back via alum cliffs... The cache was open and spread out on the ground. Managed to find all the parts of the container and the very wet logbook. Put it all back together and hid as per the hint at the correct GZ reading. Hopefully it's in the right place and safe. Will need a new logbook and drying out though. Also zero "pins" in the cache. Thanks for placing it here CatWomanAU
We started taking the highest track, but then settled on middle ground. From there on, the hint makes total sense and as we turned to take the track to the left we saw the cache all exposed. You would think the log book would have dried out with all this sunshine, but no, still wet. We it back as per hint. So many more tracks to explore up there: so little time to do it! TFTC
Neither the directions nor the GPS marker led us to a location that resembled the description. Hint was vague and it's unclear what they meant as there are several different trails beginning at Kingston Beach and it's not obvious whether 'steps' refers to the actual stairs built into Alum Cliffs Track or a subjective measure of physical steps taken.
Log book too wet to sign. Thanks for the clue that we were looking for a white lid. It is definitely findable if you persevere!
My son found it after I'd tried twice before. Not at GZ & hint no use. But good fun.
Great instructions! Counting steps like a treasure map. Dig it! The logs pretty damp. TFTC
took us a while but eventually found purely by mistake on the way back, couldn’t sign as book was too wet but was a great find ️
A nice stroll along the path provided to the area of this one.
My GPS wanted me to stay on the lower path so i had a poke for it there but i quickly realized the hint says to ascend upwards so those 53 or so steps were taken.
I was initially a bit lost with so many trees and grass to check in. I stood scratching my head wondering where this one could be
Good thing i stopped where i did coz i spotted what i thought was a discarded container of some sort but turned out to be the white lid of the cache sticking out just staring straight at me lol
I think i found GZ. The log was signed at 11:42 on Saturday 17 July 2021.
"Achievement" complete... cache found and log signed
The contents are a wee bit moist but still signable.

We could not find this one. Hint instructions weren't overly helpful, so we tried the entire track, up and back. We looked a few times from different directions, but no luck.
Someone may have taken it?

Shear luck finding that and a little persistence thanks for making me walk and excerise Damp log TFTC
While caching in the area we found your cache along the way. This took some time as we took the high track, not the low track. Once at GZ Mr "T" started searching and Mrs "T" said we were at the wrong tree as we did not do the 53 steps that was just around the corner. Once at GZ we had a detailed search and made the find.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

DNF, couldn't find it, it pointed up a small, sketchy cliff that you couldn't climb. Again a satellite issue or just bad placing as directions kept changing while close to destination.
With long grass, high snake breeding season and lots of human and dog muggles, I decided I didn’t want too much time in long grass despite getting to 1m. Tftc
Cache wasn't in grass.... spent hours looking in grass.... I placed it under cutting grass covered by rocks, also needs maintainence
Been meaning to look for this for ages - just never quite got there. Found it today as part of walk along the first few kilometres of the Alum Cliffs track. Stunning. Great location. Log too wet to sign so photo attached. TFTC
Found this cache again after a few years, but the logbook has been drenched with rainfall. not quite where i remember it being form last time, still cute nonetheless.
First find for a while. Not cammo. Very wet. In times of Coronavirus. Xx Lewis +C
we were a little confused at first but we got it in the end thank you for placing this geocache
Cache was maybe not in quite right spot. And everything was pretty wet inside. Log book sight and unusable.
Thanks for the cache CatWomanAU.
Out and about today with the GeoGSP and decided we would go down to the dog exercise area at Kingston. After running around with the other dogs for about forty minutes, the GeoGSP found a tennis ball that didn't belong to any of the other pooches. I took this as a good omen so we headed off to find this cache.
Looking carefully for snakes - and seeing none! - we approached GZ and then spotted the cache. A nice quick find today - must have been standing in the right place. After signing the log it was back down to the beach for more running around for the GeoGSP.

I am still asking myself why I hadn't found this cache before well today we were close by so it was a sensible time to have a look. We walked along the beach and up the steps. Oh, should I have counted them? Um, na, it will be ok.
Following the GPS and instructions we arrived at GZ and spotted the cache partially uncovered.
Thanks CatWomanAU, I enjoyed the walk along the dog beach.

Didn’t know where to start for the hunt to help, was bit scared of putting hands in holes with the snake sign

The coords are completely off. My first cache where hint helps more than coords (as per comments below). I gave up for another reason, the cache requires scrambling through vegetation. It's pretty clear that people have damaged nearby shrubs in their search
Wow what a awesome stroll down the steep to beach, beautiful view..
arrival to GZ, took me a while searched, difficultly spot...
very wet log as not good write down..

Found it, thanks for the cache! Notebook is pretty damp, I put it in the snap lock bag so it won’t get worse hopefully
Found after about 15 mins of searching. Pretty hard to find. Great idea with all the pins.
I needed a bit of a search for this cache, I missed it early. Found eventually though.
I only had the phone on me so I wasted quite a bit of time looking in the wrong place. I explored a little further along the track & realised I was now where I was meant be. Found the cache after a bit of a look around. I checked out the pins but didn’t take one. Tftc which all up was harder than I expected
Love this trail! Found our way down to the beach and walked backed up to find the cache fully loaded with lots of beautiful pins. Thanks so much. My kids really enjoyed picking out a pin and we left a few trinkets for the next people. From the USA

Found cache and replaced a number of pins. These are the last pins I have. They are in two separate containers so you will need to tip them out and choose yours. Numerically there are only 2000 and 5000 pins left (one 80). Lots of others to choose from. Changed container and removed wet plastic bags.
OK, easy enough find once I used the hint but the coordinates didn't work for my phone. I enjoyed the view from the top of the required number of stairs.
Cache is wet inside but log is dry.

Today we thought we'd begin our Show Day by going for a family walk around the Kingston dog beach. This would allow our geo-pooch to get some much-needed exercise, and allow us to nab a couple of nearby caches that we've not visited previously.
At first we weren't sure if the GPSr was leading us to the right spot, as the terrain seemed a little more difficult than the 1.5 rating would imply. A quick re-read of the cache description quickly revealed a clue that we'd missed, and the cache was in hand shortly after.
We don't qualify for any of the remaining pins, but it was definitely a great spot to visit anyway!
