A nice hiding spot, enjoyed finding this one! We saw some baby ducks and swans. Thanks!
Today our main plan was to head to Narawntapu NP to complete the 60GSW here in our quest to complete all the mainland Tassie ones other than Bishop and Clerk that we couldnt attempt due to insufficient time on Maria Island on the winter ferry timetable . 2 walks to go until we complete our quest. We had a lovely walk here although sadly the weather was quite overcast but no rain and a lovely walking temperature. Was scratching my head here until I spied the unusual feature. Great hide this one TFTC
A well placed cache where the find did not interfere or impose on the dedicated bird watchers in residence on my arrival. Thanks for the find as well as the walk.
We must be getting old! After laughing at bird watchers for years, I suddenly understand the appeal! Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful place to relax and enjoy the birds! Love the hide too.
After not doing anything yesterday I felt guilty for wasting such beautiful weather that today I decided to go for a walk and did the Archers Knob. I grab this one as part of the walk. My return walk along the beach with blue skies and no wind. All in all a great day out and about in Tassie.Cache and contents are in excellent condition.
TFTC, very creative considering the circumstances! Grabbed while doing the Archers Knob Track. BYOP
Thanks for bringing us to this cool location! I lovely walk for myself and Mrs Captainwheezy, lady yellalot (4.5) and master2.5 (in a backpack). Mrs Captainwheezy made the find. Tftc
Forgot our pen, so take 2. Few bird watchers about, great place to take in the scenery away from the sun. Have to be careful getting to this one. One mistake and it's in the drink. TFTC
Found this one on a hike with a muggle friend, the weather suddenly went from gloomy to perfect. I think we had the whole track to ourselves. Either way it took us a moment of walking back and forth on the boardwalk but eventually found this inventive cache! TFTC
An enjoyable walk to see birds, I should have bought my binoculars to get a closer look. At least I didn’t need them to find the cache.

We continued today our tour in Tasmania, AUS, and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.
The weather was - said in one word – simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood.
The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging.
Thanks to CarrollEyre (adopted by 2y'stassies) for the generation of this nice cache I See Birds (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.
PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they appeared.
What a beautiful location.
Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood.

Found it with my French visitors but I don’t not have a pen unfortunately. I will sign another time.
Loves this location, found with DancingBare. And happily I did not drop the cache when retrieving, which I was fairly certain I would!! TFTC from Tennessee, USA
TFTC we love it!!! So great to find such a unique cache!! First for our Tassie trip.
After a delightful stroll up from Bakers beach, we made the quick find (luckily having the hide to ourselves).
We then identified a bird we could see from the hide, it was a duck.

Looking for something to fill in time whilst not studying, it was suggested that I finally get around to logging THOSE caches long found but never logged. Some even have funny stories of being visited not only once or twice, but a few even have had a third or fourth visit before realising I've been there done that. The date is as near to the correct day the cache was found. So sorry for the generic and late log.JABs.
Found it.
Bit of a detour from the original plan for today. But that’s okay.
Quick find in a quiet area.

Beautiful walk here at Narawntapu, so glad we did this such a stunning bird watching area & great cache! Tftc.
Way cool place for a cache. Didn’t have a pencil but enjoyed the find. And the magnificence of the area. Irene
Great hide along the bird hide board walk, forgot a pen on this trip but a great spot nonetheless. TFTC!
The call was put out for a “sanity club” adventure with the group. Reconnecting with the bush and taking time off work and study to enjoy nature in good company. Unfortunately other commitments meant that there were only two of us our hiking today. This place is just stunning! I can’t wait to come back and explore further. Absolute food for the soul out here. Thanks for the neat cache here FP from me
The log book has been replaced. Who will be the first to sign the new logsheet?
Angus88 is out with GeoMaggie2 today. Found this one on a day out from Port Sorell where were are camping for a while. We are working on finding all northern Tasmanian caches. Thanks to the CO for this one. An innovative and clever hide. Hint made it easy but a favourite anyway. Log is fully full.
Thank you for the cache . Out with Angus 88. Lovely spot lovely view. Log full but didn’t have as replacement with me.
Log is full. Sorry not to have one with me. Am with my car and gear is in motorhome. But probably would not have carried one with me on walk. Must start though.
We were lucky enough to get talking to one of the rangers, Ranger John, he took us on a private walk this afternoon- I found the Geocache while at the bird hide, great hide.
First found of 2021 for the inspectorrexteam. Tftc and the views, find was quick and easy.
Found during a short walk to the bird hide with the geokids. A hot day so the shelter of the trees was most welcome. A very nice, neat little hide. Log is nearly full, will take maybe 4 more entries. TFTC
Really cool hinding technique was a nice little end to our camping trip at Bakers Beach
Not much water around at the moment but plenty of grass hoppers and a couple more names in the log book. Thanks.
What a nicely hidden and well handcrafted geocache. Enjoyed the cache as well as the hide out. TFTC
Today we visit the Narawntapu National Park. It was a nice walk and we saw lots of Wallabys, Kangaroos, Snakes and some Parrots. Nice hide for this Cache!
Next one in our Tasmanian trip. Met up with friends from Sydney who have been in Launceston for a couple of nights before we head to Low Head. This was our first stop and we enjoyed the walk through the swamp woodland to the bird hide. Last of the water pretty well gone so very few birds but cache quickly found one I looked on the correct side of the boardwalk.
TFTC CarrollEyre for placing the cache and to 2y’stassies for maintaining it

I was off doing the Archer's Knob loop walk and realised that I didn't have the required writing implement...so I did my walk, got back to my car, dug out a pen, went back to the hide and found and signed the cache. TFTC.
All finders are reminded of two statements in the cache description:
"You will need to supply your own pen or pencil.
Added 27/1/19: Your Found log will be deleted if you do not sign the logbook. "
We don't like deleting logs but will do so if these requirements are not met.

Found it in a lovely part of the world. Didn’t have a pen. Here exploring with some friends.
We remind all finders that you must bring your own pen and that you must sign the log.
In the cache description it is stated "You will need to supply your own pen or pencil."
Failure to sign the log risks your log being deleted.

Wow at this place a Cache! Amazing nature! Thanks! Find with Henry11! Regards from germany!
After our long walk to get another cache it would be a waste not to get this one too. A little search was required. I thought I had dropped the cache into the water, but it was thoughtfully secure.
Tasmania Trip Day 6 After an incorrect GeoGPS entry we ended up heading up the wrong side of a river and as such pulled off the road and found that we were instead heading to another cache so changed the coordinates and away we went towards this cache I See Birds.
This was also a great thing as we needed to obtain our national parks pass and this killed to birds with on stop.
Thanks CarrollEyre for placing and 2y'stassies for maintaing this cache for us to find today.
