1 April 2024This is find number: 9531Streak Day: 3028Found Today with Snoopy1976. Headed out this way from the Mega to do some caching. ThanksThanks to Fore! for placing and maintaining this cache. TFTC
Streak Day #3917 - Stopped by with Dave8153 for a quick find whilst visiting the MEGA. TFTC
Thankfully a tall cacher in the group. I found your D4.0/T2.0 Micro Mystery called Mendel's Peas - Fore! Metres Tall? on 28 March 2024. It was find #18950 for me. Thank you Fore! for placing this cache for our enjoyment in the wonderful state of Australian Capital Territory.
Another fantastic day here in Canberra, the locals have certainly turned the wonderful weather for the event, maybe they had a chat with the Lord Above. We had one DNF and the other 30 odd caches were all found. A couple of challenge caches that we do not qualify for but the we signed. The event was fantastic with loads of people to chat with. Something special or unusual goes here:I love a puzzle that teaches you something you didn't know. This did that for the time it took to solve in and no doubt will never ever be used again. [:o)][:o)][:o)]Off to GZ where the Spawn of Satan was only just within reach standing precariously on the top of some metal protrusions. Still it was retrieved, stamped and replaced. The Generic Bit:The Capital Geobash Adventure 2024. Day 6: Cruising Canberra again Today myself, Anymules and Muff1 set out to try and find a few more caches. A lot of puzzles were solved over many months preparing for this trip so we wanted to grab a few of those. So we cruised around just following our noses and finding caches. Today we concentrated mainly on the USG series of caches.***Thanks Fore! for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
Greetings from Tasmania, accompanied with ALL7. Great enjoyed with lovely walked to GZ,easy spot..Signed the log with good dry..TFTM
I remember neglecting solving this puzzle for a very long time, because it looked rather complicated. However, when I looked into it, it really isn't that tricky. Just a bit of guessing led me to the right method and from there my Year 9 Biology class did the rest. I did have one error, but managed to fix it relatively easily. Hooray! So in the end all it took was a logical leap, a scrap piece of paper and a bit of time. Made my way to GZ where the hint helped me easily spot the cache. Signed and replaced. TFTC Fore!
Spent some time inspecting the incorrect object with no luck before a nudge from a previous finder set me on the right track. Log signed and moved on TFTC Fore!
Found with MilesMorales2 and Czechboy14
Frequent near GZ regularly every week, but would never have guessed a cache was hidden here (that's what it's all about hey). The odd muggle nearby but all seem to be focusing on other things, especially those two kids up behind the changerooms.
A quick retrieval, came prepared, signed and replaced before we went on our merry way. TNLNSL TFTC

A great day to be out for some northside caching; this puzzle has been on the solved pile for some time. A relatively quick find today once we looked at the correct object.
Thanks, Fore!
Thanks, Fore!
I solved this a long time ago. It took me back to year 6 or so.
Tonight I was running an indoor archery session for a scout unit and when I sat in my car afterwards, perusing the map, this one caught my eye. I didn't have to drive far to get closer and then walked a short distance to GZ. It took me a while to spot the cache, even though I had a good torch. I found a lot of Ladybirds clustering together.
It was rather cold and there were ice crystals glinting on the grass.

Went for a lovely walk this evening and found this cache. Mrs WereDunn4 made the stretch and retrieved it. TFTC
Found on a walk around Gungahlin. So good to pick up this puzzle at last
Thanks for hiding this cache Fore!

Had this solved awhile but decided today was a good time for a walk and a cache. Thought we might have needed a TOTT but was just tall enough.

Found with G and La_Shee. Fortunately, one of my fav TOTT's is La_Shee who has altitude. TFTC.
Quick find, great hide in plane side and yet muggle proof I am sure. Logbook still half empty.
Thank you Fore! for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Solved a while ago when one of the kids was walking me through his homework. Oddly enough he was working on questions exactly like this puzzle. Waiting until today’s to find it together. TFTH
In town for the week end. Isolation had meant plenty of puzzle solving with this being one of them. Seeing we had the TOTT this trip we headed over and in the end did not need it. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
A pleasant walk to GZ today after attending a nearby event. I will have to return a bit more prepared and on a day when the area is not in use because I don't want an audience.
Well wasn't this one a bit of fun. I should make a practise of finding difficult caches after pprass and crew have been through. I'd never have been able to access this one without the thoughtfully provided natural tool lying nearby. Luckily there was no one around to see the antics. I would've thought I was acting strangely if I had been observing me and I was a muggle.
In town for the Mega event at Queanbeyan, this gave Me the opportunity to team up with some long term caching friends to go cache hunting, today I teamed up with Lakedi from Brisbane to tackle the UGC challenge cache series, we picked up several other enjoyable caches along the way.
Thanks Fore! for the cache.
Thanks Fore! for the cache.
And the last of today’s genetics puzzles for us would have resulted in a DNF if we’d been relying on my own genetics, being only of average height. Luckily, Rebel Acts is somewhat taller and was able to reach the wee cache. I popped it back, looked at it, sighed, then stepped aside to let him do it properly.

Found it this time, redeeming a previous DNF when it had gone missing. Thanks Fore replacing it. TFTC
Solved and found with EverestHigh and MaxAdventurer. Fortunately I had MA as my TOOT as it was way too high for me. Still at 4m. TFTC
We had solved this puzzle a number of years ago but we had not been to this area on previous trips to Canberra to find it.
Today we teamer up with Pprass and Grub Fred to locate this one, we were looking nearby when Grub Fred spotted a likely container. Mrs Shifter managed to retrieve the container, we signed the log and then Pprass returned the cache to its location.
Thanks for the hide Fore!.

Found at 3:23 PM GAFF5 in the company of Grub Fred and Shifterbrains.
We were totally at the wrong structure for ages, but we found a very useful tool while being there! Grub Fred actually spotted the hide about 4 metres away and then it was all over red rover with what we had at our disposal.
Deserve an FP.

Its still possible for Aquilus1 and myself to do small caching trips where we have both yet to find hides.... its just that most of the hides tend to be spanking new or puzzles. Anyway, sharpened the puzzle pencil so to speak and nutted out a few hides for us to go chasing.
This was the ninth for the morning. Puzzle presented no difficulties as I understand the subject reasonably well. Was a little surprised at the hide positioning but quickly solved

Today with GreyHams we had a few caches planned, a bit tricky to find some we both can collect but a few new ones always helps, and that a few caches were solved to help the day along! Mostly puzzles, a few newer caches and some that fill gaps in the stats as well, a bit of variety all round really.
Was a bit stumped at GZ but GreyHams had this spotted soon enough, its all about good team work here but, fairs fair, and finders keepers! I did do my part and offered a 'helping hand' that proved, well, helpful and made things a little bit easier but mostly I offered good moral support! Thanks for the cache Fore!

Took a couple of goes to solve the puzzle. I got all confused the first couple of times. It took solving a similar type of puzzle (GC33GNM, which was actually a harder genetic type puzzle) in order for me to finally figure out all this type of stuff (which I vaguely recall learning a little bit in high school). Quite interesting!
When I later came out to find the cache, I was unsuccessful. I came back again with the geoson, hoping his extra eyes would help. Still no joy. I thought I could simply be looking in the completely wrong place so I checked my coords with a previous finder. I returned one last time and had to log a DNF.
After another cacher subsequently logged a DNF, allrounder dropped past and checked on the cache and replaced it. It was actually missing. Phew, it wasn't just me.
I forgot to put a watch on the cache, so I didn't realise until a month later. I came out late tonight and found the cache straight away this time. All I had to do now was retrieve it. Hmm, tricky. I was expecting it but I didn't have a suitable TOTT and in the first instance, I just wanted to find it first. But I hunted around and nature provided my with a somewhat helpful tool. After some time and a bit of effort, I finally had CIH but it was a little adventure.
TFTP Fore! and thanks to allrounder for replacing the cache.

I struggled to solve this puzzle despite doing a lot of research and trying to wrap my head around it! Worked out what I was doing wrong and then soon had a set of coordinates that seemed strange, but confirmed them with another cacher who also had the same (but also hasn't found it!)
Today I looked back into the listing and realised it was replaced by allrounder quite recently and actually had a decent amount of "unloved" on it, even though I don't need that anymore it is always fun to give them some loving!
I parked in a new spot today, I doubt anyone could have accessed this cache from this spot in the past! But it was quite close to the final GZ!
I wandered over and after doing a loop of "number 10" I soon spotted the cache and scratched my head, looking at the terrain. Then I understood and with some patience I soon had CIH!
A great little puzzle, and a cheeky little hide that I really liked! Well done, and huge thanks to allrounder for keeping Fore!'s caches alive all these years for us to find, much appreciated

Fore!’s geocaching secretary reporting for duty: thought I’d check this one after replacing Get ComFore!table and, sure enough, it was missing...a new cache is in place, cache on!
I'm a sad panda. I didn't find the cache and now I think my solution may have been wrong because I found nothing at gz that matched the hint. I'll have to redo the puzzle and see if I get a different solution.
Headed out on another lovely Sunday afternoon drive with AngelG27 to pick up a wide variety of caches. I found some puzzles I'd solved, my first multi and my first TB which was all very exciting. It was a worthwhile trip for AngelG27 too!
Despite studying genetics at Uni this year, this one took a LOT of trial and error. I finally realised that I had my genetics right and had just misinterpreted the maths at the end. Thank goodness I don't have to study maths or I'd be in trouble >.< !!! So heading out today, this was definitely at the top of our list. I may be a Snow Leopard but I'm certainly not the biggest of the big cats. I was only just able to reach it with my fingertips...I mean paws...! TFTC Fore!

Headed out again on a fantastic Sunday afternoon with Sleepy Snowleopard to grab some caches , including a few puzzles she had solved! I got 8/8 for the afternoon and she found 10/10, including her first multi and picking up for first TB.
A target cache for us afternoon ! I only have a limited generic knowledge of genetics, so enlisted the help of SSL to make this one good. A quick find at GZ and a stretch needed to get our names on the log - by a stretchy Sleepy snow leopard!
Thanks Fore! for the cache!

For some reason I had printed this out and had a quick look at it a year or 3 ago ... found the printed page while looking in my stuff to see if I had any solved puzzles anywhere near to home to grab as a daily, and did my biology homework and got a solution ... oh - this is way over there ... *looks up cache listing* oh - so is the "?" On the map ... must have been thinking of grabbing it on my way past to something or another ... maybe the quilt show last year, or the one before - which was coming up again soon - might have to grab it on my way to/from that ... but I ended up finding different ones, closer to there, instead (including a nice Fore! Multi, for a silly souvenir I wanted so this one was filed away for "later".
Today I was going on a walk over in Gooroyarroo NP so I threw an item of equipment in the back of the car so I could maybe go for this on the way to/from ... didn't have time on the way there ... and it got dark as we got back to the cars after our walk (on which I was also able to grab a few caches as we passed them
Dark, cold, windy ... do I really want to try and find my way to this GZ and use said equipment in this weather? ... ok - why not - cold dark and windy might be the best time to go wandering around that area carrying one of those and not actually be seen and arouse suspicion - lol
Pulled in to car park ... oh - didn't put GZ into GPS app on my phone ... not sure where I wrote it down ... but - I remember checking it out on google so maybe I can remember ... Looked at map and yes - fairly sure it was here ... or here ... or maybe here - should be able to see it in one of those places hmmm- might actually be able to get closer from over there near the houses ... drove over and tried that - but there was a raging torrent of water in my way (may be something one could step over in dry season, but not after all the rain we have just had!) ... but I could actually see something that I thought was more than likely the cache - drove back around to the other side, parked, grabbed item I needed, walked to location I had seen "cache" ... yes, might be ... But maybe not ... and my equipment was short version, not tall version, so no way to reach that ... so I looked in most likely of other 2 places and ah ha! - That is the cache (well - hope so - fits description/logs better ... not sure why that other thing is up high at that other spot - maybe there are weirder things than caches?) cache was nearly as high as the ... decoy? - still too high for my equipment (also not really a very stable footing for my particular variety of said item) - so I found something else to improvise with (which may have even worked ok without the thing I had carried there - lol) and retrieved the cache, initialled a dry spot on the mostly damp (and torn) log, and replaced cache in same place I had found it (give or take about an inch
TFTC - fun to solve, fun (?!?!!) little adventure finding it, and rounds off my finds for today to an even half dozen - lol
There was somebody walking a dog somewhere in the area while I was doing my thing with the cache - the dog barked at me a couple of times ... couldn't see the dog, but at one stage I think I could vaguely make out top part of a figure (owner?) against the sky way in the distance - too far away for them to see what I was actually doing

Very pleased to get this crossed off.
I spent at least 3 good sessions to figure out the co-ords. Tricky but logical in the end
A lot of googling and trial and error.
A little walk on a Sunday morning in the cool. Several tools in hand to preempt my lack of height.
Was able to us two of my tools. One to retrieve and one to replace.
The nearby park was busy today with footy and a guy with a 9 iron having a hack.
Needed to give him a wide berth. But was tempted to yell "FORE!"
Thanks for the cache.
Also this cache gave me my last suburb in the Canberra mapping challenge cache. Yay!
114 suburbs crossed off!

O-ring in Cache busted and lost. Log a tiny bit damp but ok

My first attempt and solving this was unsuccessful (over a year ago). Although I ended up at a similar feature there was no cache in sight. I re-solved it last night in anticipation of today's mission, and this GZ also looked promising, confirmed by Fox in Jox getting the same solution.
Following a mini mission with ZQX and Fox in Jox to collect a tree climb cache, Fox in Jox and I (and Ralhie) headed for this one with suitable equipment to hand. Arriving in the vicinity, it was muggle central but GZ was suitably clear. Carrying the equipment would have looked odd, so we resigned ourselves to improvising a human ladder. Arriving at GZ the cache was quickly spotted and soon reached. TFTC.

This afternoon, TikvaNZ, ZQX and I had a tree in the Goo to climb. As the same equipment might be useful for the retrieval of this cache, TikvaNZ suggested I look at it. So I did. I got an answer that agreed with TikvaNZ, so after we'd finished in the Goo, we headed off to GZ, with geohound. Plenty of muggles, particularly small ones, but we were far enough away from them to raise any suspicion. We spied the cache straight away. TikvaNZ did the reaching and had cache in hand - no need for equipment. Signed and returned, just in time before geohound met a friend and its owner. A nice chat and we were on our way. TFTC Fore! A refreshment in school biology!!
I found it! After trying for a year. I found it!
I was convinced it was in one place, but then a log suggested another. Straight away, I saw it.

Confession - I didn't solve this puzzle, I just happened to be in the right place at the right time.
This was one of Rapidlywild's nemesis caches so we swung by to see if we could nab the culprit. Apparently this place is generally busy with people hanging around GZ making the find impossible.
The weather helped tremendously here today due to rain washing the muggles away. Once the rain stopped we were off like donkey kong.
We had a couple of tools that helped us and not long after arriving we had our initials in the log and rehid.
Thanks for the fun Fore!

Plans were in place to do a little geocaching around Canberra with Coruze and grandson. We attended an event and grabbed a couple caches that have been on my nemesis list for a while.
This has been my closest unfound cache to home for ages now. Ive had it on the solved list for a long time and today myself and Coruze went for the find. We took some TOTT's in preperation, and soon we had the cache in hand. This one needs a new O ring as the current one is split. Signed the new log and off we went.
Thanks Fore! for the placement of this cache[^]

I came up with a couple if interpretations of the questions and so more than one GZ. Fortunately, the wrong coords were quickly discounted as not fitting the age of the cache. At GZ a quick find but longer to retrieve: perhaps my parents genetics weren't the best for this cache? Nevertheless, eventually retrieved, signed, and returned. Log still has room but is falling apart. O ring is dead so water is probably getting in, accounting for the state of the log. Nice puzzle. Tftc
On a big day of caching through Canberra today with J+J.AU. Early stat and bikes ready to go. Quit a few hills to conquer today, but it was oh so much fun. Ideal weather conditions and many other outdoor enjoyers along the way made for a fun day! Puzzle solved over a year ago and today a quick but tricky find!

As Wilbert67 mentioned, a BIG DAY out. the weather very kind for us, lots of fun taking alternatively tracks by bikes or walking pending where we were. its good to collect the solved puzzles that have been in the pile of next visit. Had lot of fun. TFTC
Had to use a bit of genetics for our daily tonight , we always love a good Fore! Puzzle and this one also gets us the little souvenir. Mr Stormcatcher made short work of the science part and it was off into the very dark and stormy night!
Probably some of the most wild weather we have had to deal with this year and really tested our gear. So glad when we arrived at GZ and spotted the little guy way up high ! The icey wind and rain made signing duties tricky and good thing the o-ring was in good condition.
Always nice to tick off another classic Fore puzzle , TFTC

I arrived to find Decrypter searching for this cache, and he had been for some time, but he was barking up the wrong tree. Then I read the hint and shifted the search to another area. Decrypter was then the first to spot the tiny object and we were able to sign the log. It was put back, because trodectus was also joining us for some caching, so he could have the 'fun' of finding this too. After he made the find, we signed the log and went off to find other caches. Thank you to trodectus and Decrypter for solving this puzzle. The hint is now rather hard to see, having been over-painted. TFTC Fore!
The nano was rusty, because the o-ring was missing and water had got in. We dried the log out and I had an o-ring in the car to replace the missing one. Hopefully it will be more watertight now. It appeared there was only one other finder of this cache this year. It was a tricky puzzle. TFTC Fore!
I had solved this puzzle some time ago. This afternoon I got a call from Decrypter to tell me that he and Goldenwattle were at GZ. So I hopped into my car and met them there. They'd placed it back so that I could have a go at finding it. Soon done with some prompting and off we went to other caches. TFTC
Thankfully I had Noikmeister with me at the time the log was signed, but then I totally forgot about this one. It was only when trolling through suburbs seeing just how many puzzles I could include in my Canberra Mapping Challenge that I realised I could use this for Moncrieff which was just the extra impetus required to make the numbers make sense.
Made short work of the puzzle but it has taken quite some time to head out for the find. Loki loves heights when trees are involved but sadly this was a lot more difficult. Interestingly it was a lot easier to replace than grab in the first place! I was quite worried I would get it down but not back again. TFT puzzle and cache Fore!
Ducked out for a few lunchtime grabs after a quiet morning at work. Plenty of time to solve a few puzzles.
This was a lot of fun for me. My dimly recalled high school genetics and just one assumption lead be to the solution. It was all quiet at gz & soon had the cache in hand. Thanks Fore! the adventure.

(291) Found on cool foggy morning with the help of two implements. Glad I came prepared!
Science is a very weak point for me, so I struggled with this from the outset. Asked a friend who is an expert in this field to give me some pointers. Learned a lot that might help me with similar puzzles.
I thought I had solved the puzzle yesterday, and went for a drive. Behind a construction fence there was a tall tree that looked promising. But I didn't want to jump the fence.
Checked with another cacher, who said that my first set of coordinates were too far east. Re-reading the description, I saw my error. Once again I proved that I have low attention to detail.
In the end, all good. Tks Fore!

Found at 1:57:00 PM.
My 33rd unfound ACT puzzle. 32 to go.
Having recently done Bruce's Genetics I found this cache to be quite similar in the required concepts and so managed to get some good looking coordinates.
Was out this was with Batgirl cleaning up some unfound puzzles and we wandered over to this one. I bet she was glad I was here too! Otherwise it would have meant a long walk back to the car for the right caching tool. I'm not sure how Fore! got this cache in position
Thanks Fore!

Nice day out caching with Napalm237 and DevLyn1, found GZ and had a hunt around for the cache, was luckily able to retrieve without excessive tools. TFTC

I'm a rank novice when it comes to genetics so I had to do a crash course to come to grips with this one (plus another similar nearby). I was not overly confident of my homework but we gave it a whirl anyway in company of Napalm237. ID'd the requisite spot from over yonder but took a roundabout route as there were things happening in between. Napalm's eagle eyes soon had the blighter spotted & performed retrieval & replacement duties (one of us could maybe have managed but, well, he's younger). Now it appears we're being followed around puzzle caches by the puzzle meister!
After a visit to a nearby fete we decided to give finding this cache a go. We risked parking in through the gate hoping that the people painting the building wouldn't leave before we did. A nice walk over to the cache and quite a search once we got there even though in the end it seemed like it should have been easier! TFTC.
This was one we solved a very long time ago now, but being in the area we drove as close as we could then went for a quick walk. After checking some organic locations that didn't work out we tried for a less organic spot and there it was. TFTC Fore!
I really enjoyed solving this puzzle-it was easy peasy for for lab rat specimenX!
Solved the puzzle a little while ago and tonight I decided to collect. Made my way to GZ at night with my trusty Led Lenser bright-as-day torch and found the little bugger! The place was deserted which made for a muggle free find. Retrieving the cache was a challenge, the stick I grabbed to help me was a fraction too short and my frozen fingers made holding on to anything even harder! Found a longer stick-then during retrieval the little bugger fell off so I had to search around in the grass [:o)] Found it again, signed log and replaced-the stick I used had a handy 'holder' on top which made replacing easy! It's resting against a nearby tree if anyone else wants to use it. Thanks for yet another great puzzle and cache, Fore!

Had my daughter who is a bit of an expert on these things solve this puzzle some time ago and she wanted to know if her solution was correct so today we set off to see if there was a cache on the end. With the clue we soon spotted the little blighter but needed the help of the nearby scrub for a suitable extraction tool. Cache was soon signed and returned to its spot (just a little easier for the next cacher). TFTC Fore! - good that involved the whole family.
#181 - 12:45; Third in today's Fore!ay. My co-ords were a little out, but close enough to bag this one with the application of a little geosense. TFTC
We decided to spend today cleaning up a few Fore! caches we had previously had trouble with. Thankfully we had a 'hot line' to the cache owner, who gave us a few clues. Marco's boss had solved this puzzle for us, but despite being in the ball park wasn't quite on the money. Armed with Fore!s extra hint, we made our way to GZ. Once there we had to do a few 'laps' before we spotted the little bugger. I'm sure Fore! must have a secret camera set up to film us crazy folk attempting to get this cache. Finally we deployed the 'Go go Gadget' arms and had the cache in hand [after dropping it in the grass!!] TNLNSL - then had the fun of returning the cache! TFTC
822. Managed to solve the puzzle a while ago and today was the day to check out my calculated GZ. Spotted the little fellow on my approach and then things got interesting. I will just say, returning the cache was just as interesting, especially after dropping it in the grass. Definitely an interesting challenge. TFTC.
Ok the puzzle was easy - figuring out how to get the cache without bringing along a tool was a bit harder. Layed down to mull it over (and wait for some muggles to pass). Got an idea, then spent a minute or two looking for the cache again. Putting it back was really easy.
After solving yet another genetics puzzle today by FFLL1, we figured we would retrieve them both on the way home from work. Getting to GZ after walking the pups we decided to go back home to get a retrieval tool. Tool in hand cache was retrieved in a jiffy. Don't know how you managed it Fore! But yet again another good puzzle.
Was not to concerned about this one untill Code 1 pointed out he location of GZ. Was able to arm myself with the needed extra cache remeoval tool. Found ourselfs just out of range from the muggles and was soon signing log before returning cache back to its location.
JABs.
JABs.
With only a few energy expending muggles about we strolled over to this one. JABs had his extra leg with him and made the retrieval with only a small modification. Log signed it was returned to where we found it.
A heap of reading nice brain workout and to get my head around how to solve this one.

Thanks to my lovely [xx(] geocaching assistant, allrounder, the log has been replaced and the cache re-positioned (not sure why the cache would creep on this one?!). Come and get it!
Reperio at 1100. This was another puzzle that took some time to solve, as a bit of research was needed, but got there eventually. Today I stopped by while in the area to see what I could find, and after a bit of a search in a few likely spots, I soon spotted it and said 'How the F%&$&'. Luckily I found something to do the trick and had the cache in hand in a few minutes.
Gratias Fore!

I had to break open the Biology texts to make sure I did this one right. It was one of the few that I didn't need extra help on although I could have used some assistance at GZ! I improvised with some materials near by and managed to retrieve and replace the cache without too much trouble.
Cheers,

We solved the puzzle a while ago, but didn't get around to GZ until today. I tried using the 3 geokids to retrieve the cache, but they refused the job. Luckily an appropriate tool was found nearby, and the cache retrieved. Just enough room in the log to squeeze in our name - new log needed. TFTC!
This one I needed help to solve the puzzle with. I solved it after this and went out today to get the cache. Lucky I had the right tool to get it. Hooray another science puzzle done TFTC
With the right equipment I was able to retrieve this one. One the puzzle turned into maths, that part came together after a few pointers. Thanks.

Thanks god I have special tool with me so I can retreived.... SMILE.... SL. Thanks Fore!.
Cool cache - worked out the puzzle a while ago, but this was the first time had a chance to check to see if something I did in biology about 20-years ago was on the money! It was! Mrs Gumb would be pleased.
Found with Little Red Shoes and Bevejo - was contemplating some form of combination of Little Red Shoes and Bevejo for retriveal, when from Shadow!s pants was revealed a much desired tool!
Cache was retrieved and replaced with equal dexterity (not!) - but quite funny all the same. Not sure what the muggle with the dog made of five bears and a dog returning across the paddock?
Thanks to Fore!, Shadow!, allrounder, Huxley (the geohound) and Bevejo for a fun evening.

Spotted this one while waiting for Moo, Little Red Shoes, Fore!, Shadow!, and allrounder to show up. They were off finding other Fore! caches which I had already found. Did the calculations for this one some time ago and finally got out today to have a look for it. Eventhough I spotted it, I was not able to retreive it until the others came along with a useful caching tool. I guess it helps to meet the cache hider and crew!

DNF #1 of 3 for the day.
Traits:
Intelligence to solve (fun) puzzle: present
Stamina to ride MTB to GZ: present
Vision to spot cache: present
Physical build to retrieve cache: not present.
I struggle to see how anyone got this, but get it they have! I considered using the MTB as a retrieval tool, but I would never have been able to replace it.
Oh well, thanks anyway!

Really needed the geocaching tool for this one!
Pity we missed the paragliding 3 wheeled thingie in action, especially as we were just talking bout them!
Am at a loss as to how the cache got there in the first place having met Fore!.
Anyway, nabbed thanks to McPhan and the watchful eyes of the Winglens. Thanks for the cache.

2835. [font=Comic Sans Ms][green]Ya gotta wonder. Winglen (accompanying to see if Zsazsa7 could retrieve the cache) Zsazsa7 and McPhan get out of a car and wander across the oval watched by two muggles and their dogs near the carpark. Then they see first the [s]shortar[/s] smallest male disappear behind an object and then arms and legs appear from different sides. The he reappears and the [s]stroop[/s] tallest male diasppears behind the object then reappears. After a while he disappears again and when he reappears they all wander back across the oval get in the car and leave. What did they make of it? Have no fear - they didn't have the right attributes to recover the cache even if they wandered over.
