With the info from Trailrunning I think I'll have to put this one to rest. From memory there weren't a great number of hiding spots nearby in this park. So archiving seems like the only option.
As I have found this one before, we passed by here last week with jsmyong55 in an attempt for him to find and log it. I can confirm that the cache has gone and the stump it was under has been turn over by the kids that have made this area their own. There is clear evidence that the kids are using this area for a cubby houses on a regular basis with various items of a kids nature here, and lean-tos being constructed in the nearby trees. If it is replaced it is unlikely that it can go back to where it was, so if it is replaced it will need to be moved some distance away from this area.
Ooops, sorry, I accidentally logged a find on July 8th instead of a DNF.
I've edited the log now to fix it.

I spent quite a long time searching here. Given the flakiness of the coordinates reported below, I looked under every bush within about 15m of GZ.
My feeling is that it's probably gone, but I've been wrong before.
Could we have an owner check please?

No luck with this one! I notice that some of the logs raise the question of coordinates being a little out and if that is the case then it makes it very hard with my Iphone. Is it in a prominant landmark? Not burried? Not to worry we will try again. Thanks for the hide and it will be all the more rewarding when I finally get it!
1.14pm
Took a short drive in my lunch break. The cache is only just over 5Km from work, so should be back at work in time. Parked quite close to GZ and took the short walk, where i was initially searching in the wrong spot. GPSr eventually settled down and I was able to find the cache. It was slightly exposed. I signed the log and replaced the cache making it a bit more hidden.
Thanks to jezarocks for the cache. TNLN.

#598 4th of 9 this arvo. GPSr had me looking a fair bit further afield but geowife was on to it like a shot and soon had it in hand. I wonder if this 'creek' fills up after heavy rain. Thanks jezarocks.
Out with my good mate Marty (Quasar3571) tonight for a caching run around the Eastern and South Eastern suburbs. Seen that this one had come back online, and we thought, lets clean it up. The little dip in the land here, wonder if it indeed was a creek before the drain was put in... TFTC.
Out with my good mate Blacklegend (Marshy) tonight for a caching run around the Eastern and South Eastern suburbs. Great to see this cache back on line. Its been a green dot on my maps for a while now. Made our way along the path to GZ and then headed in to make a nice quick find of the cache. Thanks jezarocks.
Thanks for putting this one back online. Found by little geogirl. TFTC. SL. Dropped geocoin.
Okay Buried creek is back again in the same location. Same size cache and all, though the log book is slightly improvised because that's all I had without making a detour to the shops. If it gets muggled again I may have to archive it next time. Apologies to those who've been waiting.
Hopefully soon. Just moved so got to find where the original container went or get a new one.
With the permission of the owner I'm logging this as a found today - or at least it's kind of like a find in reverse! I originally found the container open and without contents and picked it up with the intent of returning it to the owner. However, one thing and another got in the way, and so I decided the best thing to do was to replace the container where I found it and then notify the owner (I really should have left it where it was in the first place). Anyway - the owner has now found the returned container...and so I'm logging this as a found (by both me and jezzarocks! - two for the price of one.....sort of.... or not). TFTC and sorry about the runaround.
Unfortunately this one has gone. I found the container (200ml sistema) hidden underneath what I assume was the hiding place - however the container was open and empty and no contents or log book were to be found, except for perhaps a few shredded personal cards in the nearby area. I've retrieved the container and will hold it for the owner if they want it back for another cache. All a pity really because this is a lovely walk and so full of birdlife today.
Walked down between the rain today to have a look. The logbook is a teeny weeny bit damp but given the 13mm of rain that fell around here in the last 24 hours I'm not at all surprised. There's plenty of blank spaces in the log on the reverse side. Put it back in its zip lock bag so hopefully that'll keep it drier (I'm not sure why it keeps getting removed from that). Leaving it for now but if anyone else finds the log book too damp I'll either take it home to dry or replace it.
A quick find as I dashed past en route to a meeting.... Buried creek didn't feel so buried today, with the ground extra squishy from all the rain! But soon squelched my way across and found the cache quite easily..

Loved this location as we used to live just around the corner and jogged and cycled through this park many many times. A great trip down memory lane. Paid a visit to the old house which has hardly changed a bit in all these years. Thanks for the cache.

All very quiet today, so no problems in locating the cache at 3:35pm. A bit worried about the camo as it sems too easy to be exposed. We know Tokass has found this cache but as usual they haven't logged it. How many other cachers do this? Is there a Silent Minority? We went around to see them but they weren't home. TNLN Thanks jezarocks
[sigh] I had to give this one a miss as there were junior muggles playing right on top of the expected location - hope they didn't find it...

All back and ready to go. Thanks to Earthbound Chief for cleaning it out and re-hiding it after the landscaping works. This area has changed quite a bit since I originally hid the cache, though looks quite good now. The hide is a little different as well, though the co-ordinates still seem good (it's more or less the same location I think). Once again, cachers please be careful that no part of the box visible to anyone casually passing by.
Found after a breif search though covert found the cache in a place i already looked.
The weather was great for caching and i was surprised not to see a muggle enjoying the area.

Forgot to log Dad's Gone Patrolling TB visit, though it was an interesting drive in
Found in the open. There's a fresh layer of mulch & the cache seemed to have ingested some of it. Cleaned & dried it out. Placed where we thought it may have been (fingers crossed). TFTC.

I'll check this out when I get back to Australia in 5-6 weeks time. Though thanks for letting me know.
While we found it with no problems the box was not closed properly and wet inside (gave it a quick cleanup but had to be very basic as muggles were coming). The area also looked like a new dump of mulch and then been re landscaped by little people into a "fairy garden".
Found with no real problems - in fact it was my daughter who found the "Treasure box".

A quick easy find today, with surprisingly no one around at about midday. The only place for a cache around here. Thanks again jezarocks for the cache.
Wow lots of muggles walking past. Just our luck to get the slowest ones and then they turned around and came back. After arriving at GZ and finding ourselves in the middle of the grassed area we looked around and decided we were probably close so decided to look in the most obvious place only to be disappointed. After a couple of minutes and the geodaughter checking the logs she then proceded to go back and search more thoroughly where we had previously been and found it well hidden. What a great cache for our milestone 250th cache find. TFTC TNLNSL
This cache has been on my radar for ages but I have never quite caught up with it until today.
A short diversion with Featherdown brought us to this linear park and guessing where it woud be hidden proved right first go though it was well hidden.

This is a nice little linear park to start my caching for the day. Being a week day, it was nice and quiet and made for an easy find. Thanks for the cache.
Found this one at 20:50 on a quick post-dinner excursion. I looked in the most likely spot but no cigar . It wasn't until I had a look at some other less likely spots that I came back to the first location and a more thorough search soon had me with the stash in hand . At least there were no muggles around at this time of night .
TNLNSL, although a couple of our geocoins had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks jezarocks.

This is indeed a nice little park and a lot of the locals seem to think so too as there were a lot of muggles out using the area today, after waiting for a window of opportunity we were able to grab the cache and headed off to a nearby seat to do the paperwork. Returning the cache was even more problematic as a couple of walking muggles met up near gz and proceeded to have a chat. About 15 minutes we were able to return the cache when they left. Fortunately there were many birds about today and time passed quite quickly watching them collect nectar from the flowering gums

It is a pity the Outer Circle Rail line was never built, but then we wouldn't have these nice little parks around here.
We came late at night, and so followed our GPS's to GZ.
It was just as we were walking back that we noticed a muggle in a house up the hill in plain view of GZ. Hopefully the light inside his house was too bright for him to see us.
Thanks, Robmc.
