So we had to take Bella home and if you are going to drive 3 hours north you might as well turn it into a caching adventure. We were in the 4WD so I got to choose some interesting tracks for Wayne to play on. Any caches that needed some attention got it.Thanks to Aussie M & M from mogni .
Nice views from gz. Driving the back roads. Quick find. found the cache farther along the fence than my GPS said was at zero. Found with Mogni. This was a very, very last minute trip.I found out that i had to be in the " clare region " the next day by lunch the next day on muggle business. After that business was over i headed up to jamestown to get a 2001 cache via any adventure labs or caches i haven't found before staying in a B& B in Penworthm. Now it was time to start heading home via dirt roads to Burra for the new Adventure lab and then down every dirt road/track with caches on it and the odd track that needed the hubs locked on the ute. If the cache was broken/eaten/smashed it was replaced with a new container and if the log sheet was wet it was replaced and if the log was full or almost full extra log sheets were added to the cache.
A delightful day caching northeast of Nuriootpa around Marrabel and Truro and the weather stayed fine too.

A Sunday drive with the Muggle Wife up north of Kapunda and surrounds. Her interest was the wildlife and stopping at sacred sites and other points of interest to read plaques and enjoy the scenery. Mr Adder also admired the abundance of accompaniments to roast potatoes and gravy.
All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.
.
Another gem from our history. Great to see that at least a few of these places are being remembered.

Full time nomads since 2014. Still tootling around the country trying to avoid Covid hotspots.
Back in SA for harvest work. Spending a few days in Kapunda before heading to Yorke Peninsula.
Headed out to explore some back roads today before the forecast rain of tomorrow. Boy the crops look good around here but still not ready for harvest.

I did not make it to the early morning CITO but a spur of the moment decision had me meeting up with gridge98 at Mawson Lakes to head up to Eudunda to find some out of the way caches that we both had not found. I left home at 7:30am and returned at 8:30pm after a big day with 49 finds. We did a big loop finishing in Kapunda and I think this was a record for me with the number of multis found in a day.
Another nice historical stop on our tour around this area. gridge had a boys look first before coming back to look properly and the cache was found nicely tucked away.
Thanks for the cache Aussie M & M.

Stopped past here today, no idea how I didn’t find this at first glance, after a bit of a dig around in the grass the cache was found nicely tucked away
Cache and contents are all good
After an early morning CITO on Anstey Hill, I met up with JJ52 to go caching for the day. With not much of a plan other than to cache around Eudunda for the day. We went from cache to cache finding 49 caches for the day and ending up in Kapunda after a big loop. A lot of middle of no where/back roads with 2 brown snakes spotted on our journey.
Thanks for the cache

One of many discoveries in the mid north so many schools dotted the countryside, quick find after the cache guardian slithered away

It’s always nice to discover a little patch of history while out and about. There were a lot of teachers over the years but the school house didn’t look big enough to hold too many on a school day. TFTC
Owl assumed this was another church cache, but the rat knew better and led the way to the cache.
Owl and a Rat decided to continue their Saturday run north.
This was one that was on their list.
Rat quickly scurried to the cache, whilst the Owl flew around elsewhere. TFTC

We were in the area to do maintenance on 3 adopted caches including this one. The container and log are all good and should last for several more years.
Checked this cache today. Looks good and should be fine for some years to come.
Midnight cache run with Purrfect Di, brought us to your hide.
Some great memorials out here to the local past.
Thanks for another interesting cache location DustyandDizz

Heading out on a beautiful day today to do some video of a friends property with the Quad. After which we continued on towards Robertstown to grab some caches...as you do! This was our 2nd attempt at this one, the first almost 3 years ago!! Wow how time flies, I would have said it was only a few months ago! TFTC
Found by Mary & David at 1355. Beautiful stonework here. Our thanks to postiegirl06.
Nice quick find on the way home after an Australia Day caching. Thanks again PG.
A quick find today with taurus1955 and BentleyTB. Great to know some of the history from around here. TFTC
Thank you once again for placing a cache here to let people know about the history of the area. It makes me have to Google for more information when I get home

Found whilst out on a great day trip to Burra with CPWanderer.
Just a little tricky. Hope a whipper snipper isn't employed in this area, otherwise the cache may go missing. Mr M made the find. TFTC.

A very well hidden micro which was found thanks to spot on co-ordinates and a helpful clue. A very interesting location and I can hear the echo of desktops closing and the scrape of chalk on blackboards.
Enjoyed doing this cache with 'Mr The Comrades' who initially spotted the cache in a geo-ding moment.
Thanks to 'PGO6' for the cache, its history and location.

I read the note about replaced with a bigger one and had a mental image - hmmmm not quite what I expected. Thanks PG
I have replaced the log book,But it is for a even smaller container so from now on you will all have to write even smaller, great place took a while to have a look and ponder the naming.tftc
I forgot to mention: The log scroll is totally full. Lucky our caching name is small!
This is one a few plaques for school that we have seen all the teachers names mentioned. We searched around gz with no luck so then decoded the clue and went back to an area that we had already looked at and found a much smaller cache than we were originally looking for
Thanks again pg and blat for the cache

Nice spot, thanks for bringing us here. Had the spot thanks to the hint, but it took a little while to find it. Ohh! Is that it[?] Yep,it is. Logbook almost full, but still has room for a few more yet before requiring replacement. SL TFTC
Grr. How annoying micro's are! Geo-teen found it after looking at the hint, scribble dour name down on the logbook and headed down the road to the next one.
Nice found amongst the nice muggles, who drove past us at the last cache. TFTC
A quick find on a drive by after work; just as well since it was raining quite steadily. Obviously quite a thriving community once but now no more than a few houses and relics from a past era. A good find.
Was obviously a busy little community in days past, but is nothing but memories and monuments now.... Tks PG for the cache
Had a quick look around then read the Clue and then made the find. Thanks Postiegirl
The last time we went past this I stopped to take some photos, which is why it looked very familiar when we arrived today . We loved the names of all the teachers mentioned on the plaque [^]. All of them very 19th century and hardly used today [^].
Found the little bugger immediately after resorting to the hint. Cheers .

Another quick find on a beautiful caching day. The kind of micro I like. TFTC
More great work by the local artists. There was recently a reunion here at this school - that would have been great for those that attended the school originally. It's sad that everything is becoming bigger and more rationalised nowadays. TFTC
It's amazing what difference a couple of metres in the car can make---we came around the corner and it all became clear. Found relatively quickly.
Thanks PG.
