Solved a long time ago. But noticed it had moved.Solved again at the motel. Walked to GZ and found the camouflage as confirmed by recent finders, but there was no logsheet inside.TFTC.
No luck here. Found a very heavy container at GZ that may have been the cache, but lid was off and no contents in sight.
Today, we changed to a cold day and visited the B.B Markets area, which has a nice view.Nice spotted and signed the log, which is in good condition. TFTM
What an interesting location. Thanks for the hide and was nice to walk around having a read. Found the cache after a bit of searching. Thanks
Area has been over run by rubbish and lots of ground cover, will move it by a few meters in a more convenient location and update the puzzle to reflect the changes. This will be done by the end of the month.
Coast trip day 1. After a great weekend around Moruya a few weeks ago, I had noted heaps of caches that I have not managed to visit yet. Not to mention a few DNFs that look like they might be find able now. I packed overnight stuff into the car and headed out. After one stop along the way, I reached Moruya airport for my first few walks. Hot and sunny out in the open, but nice in the shady walkways. I worked my way north along the coast. There some very dramatic coastal caches and I finished with a LAB set around Batemans bay before dinner and heading off to my camp, where I was just done eating when it started to rain. A long wet night. So many trees, I spent a bit of time heading around and around, but I did not find a cache, unless it was the fan base I ignored. I will have to try again one day. I have had my solution for many years now, I hope the solution has not changed. Thanks.Albida
It was a cool location, but I couldn't find the cache.. I found a random grave, but that doesn't count. Alot of rubbish around GZ. GPS all over and a hint that amongst so many trees was not helpful.
Hey Coastal Cachebusters
GC1RB15 - Haunted Hill - needs some maintenance as per logs.
Thanks for keeping this cache alive!

Found what might have been the remains of the cache - but not sure - maintenance definitely needed on this cache - so many options so a better clue would also be helpful.
Had a good look around but couldn't find it.
The area is a mess with lots of rubbish.

Another DNF for me. Geocaching gods are against me, but I might suggest this be checked after some DNFs and the last person's 'Find'.

I looked everywhere but cant find then i text to my geofriend come see me.. she had found few years ago... she looked but gone now. few trees fell down on the ground..

Like the previous finder, 2 of us had a good search of the solved coordinates in the drenching humidity. Nothing found.
Solved with the help of Google but could not find it today. I checked a lot of spots that match the hint and a lot of spots that don’t. It’s easy to say that I never would have found this site on my own. TFTH
Loved the graves near GZ. Possibly a spooky night cache. Well done.
Found on another epic caching loop with H423L which included the St Arnaud mega and many other magnificent Australian locations.
Thanks Chris & Renee and clear skies from TeamAstro. ️ Cache the planet!

Out and about we set about solving this last night and after a much needed correction to one sum we soon realised we got it right as we arrived at the new GZ.
It was well worth the visit and the puzzle and this deserves a favourite point.
Our thanks to Chris and Renee for the cache.

Worked out and found with tassie expat while exploring this area. Can't say more without giving clues away but thanks for placing it.
Solved this at home (Victoria) before we left on our holiday. Not a movie that I have seen, but looks like something that I'd watch. We approached gz at dusk and were surprised by what we found (obviously didn't look at photos/previous logs/end of cache description). We love places like this! And at dusk...brilliant. We reverently walked around both areas. There has been lots of work in the area, with many trees and branches on the ground. After a few minutes, something stood out. Cache contents are in great condition. Added a couple of small things to the stash. Thank you for bringing us to such a great spot.
Day trip to the coast. #7 for today.
Thanks for the puzzle and I’m going to add the movie to my watch list now as it sounds like a good watch.
I definitely approached this cache from the wrong direction, but found a much easier way back down. Nice location for this one! TFTC

Adding to the haunted vibe, we came after this one at night. This proved to make it pretty difficult, especially since the foot path was being redone and so, out of use. Besides this though, the puzzle was enjoyable as well as the overall experience. TFTC !
Trip back home from the bay, done this ages ago but had came back to get it out the way so got it done by one number wrong oops anyway search and found and placed back where it belong as well the mozzies lol.. Anyway TFTC Chris & Renee
Headed down to Batemans Bay for the weekend so as is always the case its hard to drive past a cache.
This one had been on the to-do list for a while after doing some online research. Once at GZ I had to fight off the numerous spiderwebs to make the find. A surprising little bit of history at GZ.
Thanks

Headed to the coast with fitzy_1965 and the geo-kids, B0tmun, Death Killer & my_name_jeff_1.
Spent the night in Moruya. Took our time to pack up and head home....caching along the way.
Whilst fitzy tried to get this one based on hints alone, I made myself some lunch and set to working out the puzzle based on wikipedia. I got out of the car to tell him where GZ when he came back with cache in hand.......at least we actually have the coords.

17,539. Found with minniek during the Moruya Invasion.
Headed south to the Coast and met up with a bunch of like minded cachers to tackle a series of caches. After that we grabbed a number of other caches during the day. After a fun evening at the campground we packed up this morning and headed out for a few more caches. This was the next one for the day. We hadn't solved this one, so I went in search of the cache with my cache-senses tingling, while minniek attempted the solve in the car. 10 minutes later I returned to car cache in hand as minniek said 'solved it!' - lol ! Log signed, cache replaced, and we headed off to the next one.
Thanks Chris & Renee !!

I was lucky to be nearby to the cache with a previous finder! And they kindly came along and helped me find it! - There was an interesting muggle note in there about the game disturbing the lyrebirds, but we didn't see any today. This is a cool spot - fav from me! Thanks.
This one was a quick find on family road trip before school starts again. Having solved this one in anticipation of the trip it was a simple task. I was glad to be staying the extra day and not tackling the travel snarl nearby. Thanks for the puzzle creation and the cache placement Cheers
Had a huge day with 154Crows grabbing a handful of caches! After spending the better part of the morning the ACT, we travelled down the Kings Highway to find caches in Batemans Bay. Daylight savings working in our favour as we managed to find plenty of caches in the area before calling it quits and heading home along the coastline.
It took some time to get the puzzle solved, but once we had a set of coordinates, they were put on the shelf until the next time we were down. The find was made without a problem. TFTC

I hadn't watched the movie for a long long time so this cache was a good excuse to watch it again. I mean, who doesn't like Vicent Price, right? TFTC.
Sourcing the movie was the toughest part. The rest was some great fun. TFTC.
Wow, that GZ was spooky and very well-matched to the cache theme. We did the research for the puzzle last night. Although the notes invited us to watch the movie, based on reviews and serious discomfort with horror movies we will gratefully bypass the opportunity. When we arrived at GZ the afternoon, we were very happy that we weren’t here in the dark. A fun puzzle and a good hide. SL TFTC Cheers.... Gaztek
We enjoyed the research for this puzzle and managed to solve it some time ago. Today we were in the Batemans Bay area and went to look for the cache. We got to GZ (after walking past some graves) and when we didn't locate the cache, we widened the search area until the cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Chris & Renee for the puzzle and cache.

After solving the puzzle at home before heading to the coast for the weekend, I made my way to GZ after a beaut run with the ParkRunners and breakfast on the water. Joolay and I hunted for 10 minutes to fnd this cache as the gps had us hopping all over the place - as did the mozzies! Finally found - how did we miss that?? Nice puzzle and great to be shown a new part of BB that I would have never known about. Gotta love a good cemetery cache. Thanks a lot for the fun
Founded with Kittykatch & Grimraider down the coast for Red Hoot Summer concert. Interesting place for sure TFTC
Solved at home. After going out for a feed we decided to feed the locals (mosques). What an interesting location.

I solved this a couple of nights ago. While in town today, I took a slight detour and quickly had cache in hand. Thanks for bringing me to somewhere I otherwise wouldn't have discovered.

We used to come to Bateman's Bay each year when we lived in Canberra - for family holidays. We're back in Sydney now and have our own fine beaches, but we still love coming here.... I solved the mystery back at the ranch, and set out at dawn this morning to find the cache. What an interesting spot - and unexpected. I discovered paths etc I never knew existed. But isn't this what geocaching is about - in addition of course to scoring smiley faces. The cache is in good order. Left a trackable.

A quick day trip to the Bay to see a man about some windows. I created a list of caches to find but after a long meeting the Reluctant-Geospouse said we had time for only one. As I had solved this one just before our trip and it was very nearby ..and gave the geohounds a leg stretch before the trip home, I opted for this find. I love an old horror movie, especially B-grade.
At GZ I was just about to give up after hunting for a while because the RGS getting impatient and then I saw something and decided to just look there before we go. TaDa! cache found. Thanks for the cache, Chris & Renee. Great spooky spot for a cache.

Found as we wind our way from Melbourne to Canberra the long way around picking up some stray map zones for challenge caches as we go. Being dedicated caches we never take the shortest direct route to anywhere, except the next cache of course. This tricky devil took us much longer to find than it should have, but we got it eventually. It was quite a surprise to find this little resting place tucked away in the middle of town. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Found with nissan 65 on a few days caching south. L8vef solving this puzzle. Thankyou for bringing us here. Lovely place for the oldies too. Thankyou for the cache
It was right on sundown and things were getting spooky as we approached GZ. TikvaNZ pointed out something that looked like a likely hiding spot, and Fox in Jox had cache in hand a moment later.
This was the last cache on a huge caching day. We drove from Canberra to Nowra via Moss Vale, then down to Jervis Bay, Ulladulla, and finally to Batemans Bay. We supported several small businesses along the way with food and beverage purchases. All up it was a fantastic day out with friends.

On a daytrip with ZQX and TikvaNZ from Canberra to Nowra, Jervis Bay, Batemans Bay and back for some high terrain caches and some great scenery along the coast.
Last for the day. TikvaNZ had solved this and was keen to get the smiley. I did a post-solve. TikvaNZ made a quick find a GZ. Then we checked out the cemetary - oldest tombstone I could see was for someone who died in 1903 - bet their ghost has seen a change in Batemans Bay over the 100 years !!!!! TFTC Chris & Renee

Fox in Jox, ZQX and I were on another all day Saturday caching mission, this time from Canberra to Nowra, to Bateman's Bay and back up to Canberra, focusing on high DT and other interesting caches (to help with some challenges). I solved this puzzle a few months ago, so it was good to finally cross it off the list. Easily found. TFTC.

While planning my stay in Batemans Bay I searched for caches and found this mystery. After some googling (have not seen any of the movies) the coordinates were clear and this is my first find around here. Interesting spot, almost a lost place. The search took a while but eventually the container was found.
Thanks a lot for puzzle and cache, Chris & Renee!

Co-ordinates were a bit off but a quick search between mozzie bites had the cache in hand and the log signed. The cache is in excellent condition with a fairly new log. We dropped a Travel Bug off here to continue its travels. Kutgw
Found by Mary & David at 1029. We're here from Melbourne for a few days. Staying in a cottage with our Canberra daughter, son-in-law and our two oldest grandchildren, plus a special UK family that we met when we were all in Dayton, Ohio, a couple of years ago. Only a few months since we passed through Batemans Bay, and actually visited this spot as Mary is fascinated by cemeteries and funerary symbolism. An interesting puzzle (we haven't seen the movie) a great location, and Mary found the cache without her GPSr. Be aware of the mozzies, but still a FP. Our thanks to Coastal Cachebusters.
Cool puzzle, ive never seen the movie but I want to now,was abit tricky to find the cache as mentioned by previous finders but left a mark only a geocacher would notice
Cool location

Up early this morning, so jumped on the computer to do some research to try and grab some info, to come up with some co-ords. Headed into town and after getting a coffee nearby, wandered up to my co-ords, not sure if they were correct. On approach I was feeling more confident that I was in the right location but the I started the search. It had been raining all day yesterday, so everything was wet and dripping, and I wasn't having too much luch finding anything that I was looking for. I was almost going to give up, when as I was starting to head out and looked in another location and bingo, there is was just lying in wait. Nice to be able to sign log. Co-ords were a few metres off and the clue was not relivant as there was only 1 tree.
Thanks Coastal Cachebusters for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

Googled the information I needed to get the final coordinates.
An interesting spot that I never would've come to otherwise.
The GPS jumped around a bit and the hint could apply to quite a few places. Eventually stumbled upon the cache a few metres from where the GPS indicated and in place that didn't quite match the hint.

After all the DNF's we were not that sure if we would find it. but after staying the night nearness we noticed a very recent find. This lead to a quick find with Justjessie on our winter escape to the coast. TFTC.
After the last attempt I went home and checked my numbers. I got same results.
SO, back to my original search area which does feel like I am in the right place ...
and still no cache.
Widened my search area as well.
Maybe the CO needs to check this one is still in place.

Out and about in the area again today.
As i am only in the area for two weeks I had better find them all.
Unfortunately I could not find this though I felt I was in the right place.

Nice container. More mozzies than ticks! Leaf litter etc was missing and may have been scratched off by local wildlife.
Noticed this one only after I had last passed through the Bay back in March but intrigued enough to do the research and put the solution aside for future use. Had a good idea where GZ would be which was pretty much confirmed when I just caught a glimpse of some headstones as I grabbed some lunch earlier in the day. Staying overnight in town had planned to grab it in the morning but enough daylight left to cross it off the list as I headed back to my motel later in the day. Not sure if there has been some maintenance/clearing or cache is intended to be “buried” this way but very exposed. Placed a bit of camo over the top to help.
I am surprised that it is a long time between finds and the final is in an area that you would never know what is hidden here.
My NGW was the finder here in this hidden treasure that you would never existed.
It is so close to houses so is indeed a great location for a cache.
Thanks Coastal Cache busters for placing this cache.

Had a pretty good look for this one today as part of PI Day, so I was determine to be successful. But to no avail [B)]. Luckily another puzzle had popped up at Burrill Lake, so I was able to fill my Mystery Cache requirements. TFT Puzzle Coastal Cachebusters.
This was the first cache of a raid on Batemans Bay and beyond today after the Pi Day event at Burrill Lake. At that event we'd met khanman47 who hadn't had any luck with this one this morning, so we weren't too confident. As it turned out it was a quick find at GZ. I looked at the spot, decided it wouldn't be there, Gill&Tony looked at the same spot and discovered that it was. Left a pathtag to encourage the next finder. Very nice and almost forgotten historical location here. Many of the graves will be 100 years old soon. TFTC!
Find Number 698, found at 10:57
Pi day is here. Geoson NationalSteel and I met up and then made a caching run to Batemans Bay, after securing our souvenirs at Burrill Lake.
This cache was on my list for the Pi Day mystery. In fact, it was my list. Until a couple of days ago it was my closest unfound, solved mystery. After reading the logs regarding the fire, I checked with the CO to make sure my old coordinates were still valid. My biggest fear was that I would DNF and then there is nothing unfound nearer than Kiama. At the event we met a cacher from Albury via Bermagui who had failed to find this on the way up here.
Fortunately, a new mystery was published locally and I was able to find that, so I felt much happier about this one - the pressure to find it was now off. We arrived at a parking area and soon realised where the cache got its name. I approached GZ and NS walked right past where I thought it would be. I looked and made the find within just a few seconds. It really was in the only place it could be. What was all my worrying about?
I'm giving a favourite point, for the puzzle, the hide and the location. A place I would not have found had it not been for geocaching.
The cache was in good condition. We took nothing, left nothing, signed the log and replaced the container as found.
Thanks Coastal Cachebusters for the cache.

A pretty easy solve. At one point this was my closest unsolved puzzle to home. Today I had to come down to the Bay from Canberra to pick up a budgie so I made time to pick this one up.

The homework for this was fun! Once we had put together all the bits and pieces we needed, we headed off to GZ. We were surprised to see this bit of history at GZ and read a bit of historic information. A good idea to do this during the day! At final GZ we wandered around and found lots of junk and fire remnants. After locating a very burnt and melted cache (photo attached) , we see that a previous finder has logged the same. The nearby tin full of cigarette butts was a decoy! Log photo in lieu of signature. Not possible to sign in this state

Asbestiform (an appropriate name under the circumstances) have said it all really. They just beat us to the punch by a day. We too were rather dismayed & disappointed to find the melted but still clearly identifiable cache remains & have added a photo to the gallery of the damage. We suspect it may have been caused by kids sneaking a smoke as there was a tin containing butts hidden nearby.
Knowing a south coast trip was around solved this one a while ago via the google route. Today pulled in at the area below and parked then headed up the slope. It's certainly an odd spot for a grave yard! Headed off to the location indicated by the GPS and got down to zero meters. There is a burnt area at GZ about 10m across and unfortunately the cache is sitting in this zone. I was unable to open the melted container. But turning it over the geocache info sheet is still visible. If it was openable it would make for excellent camo, but as it's not I'm afraid this one needs replacing. Thanks for a fun puzzle and interesting locality, shame about the container. Have also logged a maintenance request.
Solved the puzzle before I left home and had an easy find when I got here. TFTC
cache find #2045 Solved the puzzle as we knew we would be coming into the area today. Found the cache easily. Took photographs of the old pioneer graves. Thanks for taking us to this place. TFTC.

I had never heard of this movie, let alone seen it, so it took some time to find all the right numbers. We drove up towards GZ today to find a very secluded place, so close to the main part of town. After logging the cache we had a look at some of the graves, they were so old. Thanks for a really interesting puzzle and hide.

That's better!!! After 2 DNFs, I've got this one. I researched it lst night, and picked it up today, with the GeoDogs. Interesting cemetery. Thanks, Coastie!!
Did it at night and unfortunately didnt see any ghosts. Search didnt take long once gps zeroed in. Tftc.
Feeling superstitious and the need to stretch my geolegs we solved this one and headed up to sign the log with indianagleeson and geofriends
Found it. The first time we went there we didn't realise that you had to solve a puzzle to get the right co-ordinates so we went home and did some research. So we went back today and had a look another look around. Couldn't find it at first but when we did we were very happy TFTC
We looked long and hard for it yesterday but we were looking in the wrong place all together! We went home did our research and came back. We came back today and search everywhere we finally got it! Just be careful there are graves everywhere!
