This cache series is in series disarray.

How are we meant to solve this when half the clues have been archived.

04-Jan-11
Its no consolotation to the people doing the cache the way that it is meant to, but checked on it to today to get a travel bug moving and it was still there. But sounds like it is not possible to find unless you just happen to stumble on it.

Out and about with Toy Car today. We did enjoy the walk around the lake but hope that next time it will be a little sunnier. Could not work out this final as a set of clues have gone missing.
Hope it gets replaced soon and will shall return.
Love Cluedo

This is my kind of multi-cache. Doing some weed spraying, noticed the tell-tale signs and sure enough it was there. Didn't have to go to annoying bogus coordinates and find nothing there, then work out some clues. Left Kiwi Travel Bug and took Silver stream. And completed 1 around the lake without having to work through the stages of a multi.

Well, this has been a great series. I started it several months ago, but got stuck part way through. With the help of Madwizzard, I overcame this hick up and progressed to catch the killer. Thanks for the series.

After attending the Pedal Thru event near home we headed for Lilydale Lake for the arvo
We loved this series today!! We are into games/mysteries like Cluedo etc so we loved the thought behind the whole series!
Ok so after finding the Murder Weapon we made some calculations and set off to the GZ............ hmmmm this doesn't look right..........
another look at the calcs ........ whoops had subsituted the value of an "e" for the letter equaling "e" if that makes sense -
ok recalc and we are on our way again to a much much more promising location ............
MMelb made his 4th find for the day
Took GC Left mini purse with 50c
and then made our way back to the car where MMelb discovered he had left his metal walking stick at GZ
so back went G&MMelb!!
We finally made it to J's Mum's place 1.5hrs later than originally arranged but it was worth it -
thanks for a fun series - very cool!!
GJMMelb
Edited to add - just realised this was our 50th mystery cache - thanks for a cool one for our 50th!!

We've had our eyes on this one for a wile after failing with one of the previous caches a few months back. Today was just too nice to not head back for a real crack at it. The clues took some sorting out, but with the trust help of geo-mum we were on our way. Geo-mum was also the one to eventually find it. There was loads of muggle activity about so we secreted the cache away and walked off to sit on the grass innocently looking like a family on a picnic while we signed and swapped. We took a gladiator and left a clown. What a great afternoon at a great spot. TFTC!

Found @ 19:00 in the company of the geowife and daughter on a very pleasant evening with almost no one around. This series has had us chasing our tails for a while now - it's certainly very pleasing to finally have it all done. And, as a bonus, it was my 50th find.

Left nothing, took BV-Racer TB to move on its way.

Thanks Team RooBok for a great series.

found @ 19:00 with mum and dad (ross47)

All it took to figure out the Killer's note was logical thinking, as we were going off on tangents, with no results. Dad found one likely place, so we went and checked it out. There it was waiting for us! Very happy to finally complete this series!

What a great series and a wonderful way to finish it off!

TNLN TFTC!

Thanks "Team RooBok" for the series, enjoyed by all members of the group.

We now have the killer behind bars and mowing own lawn on the weekends as part of the early release program.

Once started on this series I couldn't leave without completing it. I had a great tour of the area today and really enjoyed the way the cache was structured. I had a similar idea to place caches concerned with real Shepparton crimes but the series might get quite long!

Thank again for a really enjoyable afternoon's caching,

R - B

After leaving the Scene of the Crime...
6:38pm Sit on bench with paper and two of five clues. Wait. Forward thinking. Three of five clues. No, four of five clues. Yes. I know who the killer is.
6:45pm I have the killer but he says I can't convict him as I don't have the murder weapon. I go back over the clues. Yes, there is enough circumstantial evidence to put together the location of said murder weapon.
Back to the Murder Weapon.

Finally got back to Melbourne to complete this one! Great series thanks very much. After the challenge of the previous multi the killer was relatively simple.
Cheers.

Having all the clues I sat down and did some work. Not too hard, just needed to be careful. Some newer cachers may not be sure about some established caching conventions but logic should prevail. I was happy to see that my gz wasn't far away and a short walk soon had the well placed hide. Again a 3TF for me!

An enjoyable three caches with some nice effort put into making it a lot more than just three caches. A good walk (I ended up circumnavigating the lake) plus some grey matter exercise - good stuff, and thanks to Team Roobobk.

Found by Bob at 1505

Having retrieved the clues from the "Scene of the Crime", I was now fully equipped to solve the case - which didn't take me too long, although it didn't turn out to be as simple as I'd perhaps imagined it would be and I had to (correctly) guess at one clue (although, a few minutes later the penny dropped and I realized where the info was Wink). Also, finding out where the final GZ was tended to make me glad that I hadn't attempted these before work the other day, as I think I might have ended up being just a bit late! After a bit of a walk (past another ex-cache location too!) I ended up at my calculated GZ where I was able to locate the cache after a couple of minutes - although it's really well hidden and had me starting to question whether I'd calculated GZ correctly. Thankfully, Roobok's co-ords were typically perfect and the final location had "cache" written all over it, so I was pretty sure I was in the right spot Wink.

Thanks again Team Roobok - a really nicely themed little series in a great area and some well-placed hides that, unlike many of their predecessors around here, should have excellent longevity.

This was our sixth and final cache for the day. With all the evidence gathered we set about trying to work it out, it did not seem to be working out and I had to pick my daughter up from school she was doing year 12 practice exams today, I handed her the information she pulled out her wiz bang calculator and soon gave me some numbers that looked good, back we went on the hunt for the killer and Bingo we soon had another FTF for the day. Thanks to Team RooBok for a well thought out cache.
