Sad day for me today. Cant even find the goods at WP1, which I feel like from all the other comments should be fairly obvious but if it eludes me today. Ah well, another day maybe.
Cache check. All components in place, final just needs a new lid, which i have just sprayed will pop on in the next day or 2. Send it over if you like Mark.
This cache is available for adoption. Please contact Cache Guardians using the Message system.
I needed to find a multi cache today in order to fill in a missing calendar date for [ahomburg's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=1ded3729-fe62-40bb-9f5f-fd559e7163b1&wid=6dbc178e-cf55-4705-a97f-435a7b7e6997&ds=2) [WCW - 50% Multi Calendar Challenge (GC9Z58Z)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9Z58Z), and in fact this would be the last day I needed to find a multi cache before I finally qualified for this challenge! So after work I opened up [Cachly](https://www.cachly.com/) to see which unfound multis I still had in the area and starting looking for a special multi that I could use to finally complete this challenge. *Ooo a 2009 cache!*I always love a classic oldie cache and decided that this one would be the target for the day. I then hopped in the geomobile and made my way to the posted coordinates. I ended finding a spot to park the geomobile a bit farther away and then I continued on foot the rest of the way to the posted coordinates.*mmhmm... a nano huh...*I am never really keen to attempt to find a nano, as they usually give me lots of trouble, but today the area around the posted coordinates was completely muggle free and I was able to make an uninterrupted search. Luckily for me it wasn't to long of a search before I spotted the nano and obtained the coordinates for GZ.So off to GZ I went. The weather earlier today was a bit rainy, but at the time I was attempting the cache the weather was absolutely stunning. The sun was shinning, it was warm, but not hot, just perfect. This made for a lovely little walk to GZ through a beautiful bit of nature.Once I arrived at GZ however my luck ran out. I checked here and there and what felt like everywhere. I expanded my search this way and then expanded my search that way. With the hint really only talking about finding the nano, I resorted to checking the previous logs to see if I could gain any insight on to where the cache may be. With some previous logs mentioning it was "hard to reach", this was just enough information for me to be able to narrow my search. Then it wasn't too long before I spotted something out of place.*Ooo... what is this?!*Well turns out that it was only a soda can that someone had thrown into the bush. So I CITO'd that out and continued my search. It was then again not to much longer before I spotted something else that looked out of place.*I swear if this is more rubbish!!!*However it wasn't rubbish, it was a notebook in a broken plastic bag. In fact that notebook was the exact logbook I was searching for!*mmhmm... bit straight that it's not in a container...*So with a bit more searching I found that the cache container must have popped open and the inner contents fallen out. I was just abit to short to reach the container and I had to use some sticks to attempt to fish out the container. However, like others logs had mentioned I was just a bit too short to reach anything. I eventually was able to climb up and perch a bit to give me a slightly better angle to fish out the bottom of the container, but no luck with the lid.It is a shame as the logbook appeared to be the original 2009 logbook. So I signed my name and instead of placing it back in it's beacon, I hide it behind the beacon in an easier spot that the [CO](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=a64e1979-9eb0-419b-8388-727c03c4b7ef&wid=b5bab6ae-1502-4a9c-bdc2-1c36e679388c&ds=2) could reach as I unfortunately did not have any spare containers on me today. However, it was an amazing feeling to find this oldie cache and to finally qualify for [ahomburg's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=1ded3729-fe62-40bb-9f5f-fd559e7163b1&wid=6dbc178e-cf55-4705-a97f-435a7b7e6997&ds=2) challenge!A big thanks goes to hi pressure for originally hiding this one and to the [Cache Guardians](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=a64e1979-9eb0-419b-8388-727c03c4b7ef&wid=b5bab6ae-1502-4a9c-bdc2-1c36e679388c&ds=2) for keeping this one alive for me to find today. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status**The nano at the posted coordinates was in great shape, in fact it almost looked brand new. The nano's log was clean and dry and the coordinates for GZ were very legible. As I mention above in my log at GZ the cache container lid must have popped open and all of the inner contents were spread about inside the beacon. I was unable to fish out any of the swag and I could not locate the cache's lid. The bottom of the container and the logbook are now behind the beacon and out of view of muggles. The plastic bag protecting the logbook is also ripped. However despite this the logbook was still clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.
Grabbing the first part of this one was much harder than a 1.5 terrain for echidna44 and us, even having tall members.
We had to resort to climbing the car to reach this one, but got there eventually.
Another struggle to reach this one at gz as it had fallen too far down to reach, but we made do and eventually signed the log.
Thanks for this one

Out with pinnacle333 in the Berwick area to find multis for our monthly challenge.
We performed a few antics to obtain the 1.5 terrain co-ordinates, then went for a beautiful walk while listening to the bell-birds as we went. At GZ the cache was hard to retrieve, but we managed and signed the log. Thanks Cache Guardians.

Our thanks for PP7 for supplying and placing a new nano at the posted co-ords. (MD)
We're working on obtaining the necessary materials to bring these caches back online. (MD)
The container at the posted co-ords appears to be missing but the cache itself is in place. Disabled until a new container can be sourced. (MD)
So happy to have another *unloved* cache added to my list. Had tried once before but today I was able to get it.
Thanks for this one hi pressure

This walk was a bit of a revelation.
A beautiful walk to the tune of the many bell-birds in the area.
A lovely piece of bushland.
Thanks Cache Guardians and hi pressure for showing us this place.
A favourite point from us.

I'm still on a mission to try a bunch of unfound caches on this side of town so it was time for some early morning caching out this way. Managed to avoid the hottest part of the day and pick up nine finds out here today. I had a DNF last time I was here so after a find nearby I headed here to try again. Checked my working by finding the info at the posted coordinates where I remembered. This directed me to a spot on the opposite side of the track to where I was looking last time and after a short I had the cache in hand. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for placing this cache hi pressure and to the Cache Guardians for keeping it going.
Found as Nicnax with PapaGrouch. After failing to find an easy cache nearby we moved on to this one. Luckily this one was a find, although we took a little time to spot the cache at GZ. It was in a nice spot that we had never been before. TFTC
Grabbed wp1 as it just started to spit and then I got up to gz as the heavens opened rain and hail so it was a quick retreat back to my car so I drove to end of road and had lunch at the patisserie and waited for the rain to stop after lunch I came straight back to find the cache in the first place I looked. Stamped log thanks for the cache.

Mrs Papi4506 and I have been here a couple of times before and wp1 was missing each time. This became our nemesis cache of the area.
Today however, redemption!
Finally! We now have a smiley here!
Cheers hi pressure

At last we managed to turn our previous frown upside down. A smiley for us here now. We are absolutely, totally and utterly sure that the first part of this cache was missing the last 67 times we visited. We had parked the geovehicle really really close and used it as a TOTT and no luck, we had used a couple of PAF's also, still no luck until today.
With the first part of the cache located, we soon had the final in our hands although the retrieval of that was a little tricky.
Very pleased to rid ourselves or this nemesis. Lovely area to take a stroll.

After noticing the DNF earlier this week, I decided to check on this one. Happy to report that both parts of this cache are in place as they should be. (MD)
Had a look a this one as I was passing nearby. No problems at WP1 but when I headed to the final coordinates I didn't see what I needed. I headed back to WP1 to check the referenced hint (that I assumed I has missed) but wasn't able to spot that. Thanks for keeping this going cache guardians. I'm sure I'll be back this way another time.
Took us awhile to gain the information at WP1, then a pleasant walk through a lovely reserve we have never before visited. GPS played up here, so we had to rely on our geo senses. Not sure where the hubby’s senses were taking him, but mine were spot on:) I did let him do the actual retrieval though.
Thanks hi pressure and Cache Guardians. Very enjoyable.

What a beautiful part of the world for an hour of caching. Being six-foot-four really helped me with both the first part and second part of this cache especially my long gangly arms. Caching with my phone let me down the wrong side of the path but eventually I got there once I stood back looked around and had a think what a great spot for a final hide. TFTC
Always time for one more.
Stopped by after picking up the nearby ANZAC series.
Cache in good order.

Our last find before heading towards home.
We had an enjoyable afternoon out this side of town with our dogs and my friend Pam.
Pam found this one although she lamented that her legs weren't quite long enough at WP1

On way back from Cardinia reservoir after catching up some caches. Very warm day. Puzzle solved and found it. Thanks hi pressure for the multi.
Our 150th find. A very nice walk through the nature reserve, we spotted a number of bird species. The calls of the bell miners echoed all around. Nice hide.
Waypoint 1 has been replaced. Cache Guardians wish to thank PinkPiggy7 for donating a suitable container and for performing the maintenance on our behalf. (MD)
Waypoint 1 has disappeared again.
Will probably have to wait until supplies can be bought for it to be replaced. (MD)

Second time here, looking for wp1.
Despite a thorough search and two PAFs, no luck here again today.
This is becoming our nemesis.

We really enjoyed this multi! The area was lovely to walk in and the bellbirds were very melodious.
We found wpt1 without the hint, with coords bang on. The final was not as easy and we searched a bit on the wrong side of the path before Geodad spotted the likely hide. Thank you hi pressure!

Definitely didn’t have the advantage of height today. I had to use a trusty tool for the first part and then I found a good foot hold at GZ. Thanks for the adventure.

Tonight is cold and wet but the cache was in excellent condition and was nice and dry. With the weather I didn't want to go caching but had to keep my steak going. The coords were indicating a bit off track and with the rain I very nearly walked away. Thought I would have a look and lucky I have long arms. Tftc
Had gathered the first WP many moons ago but never made it to the final. Cant remember why. Today however would be different, as the final was soon found after a brisk walk in the drizzling rain. Had a little trouble retrieving the cache but got it eventually. TNLNSL. TFTC. Kkams
Managed to find the Nano after reading the Hint . Copied the Coords and then a bit of a walk to the Final . Thanks hi pressure
Pretty difficult retrieval of the first cache when you have short arms and legs and lots of passing traffic. However found it and moved on to the gz where finally the cache was located, although unable to recover it from it;s hide. CO messaged ans confirmed find. thanks again mark.
I’m very pleased to have found your 16th cache today. It was a nice spot, one that I drive past often and always promise myself that I will go walking through. Today your cache gave me that opportunity. I had to wait for a muggle to leave at waypoint one, but once she drove off it was smooth sailing from there! TFTC Cache Guardians
Today was a somewhat larger day of caching, larger than most of the days I had been having so far. With the plans being to clear out some nearby caches and slowly make my way up towards Pinkpiggy7's event being held tonight. A rather successful day with no DNF's at all. Spent some time caching around Cranbourne then just ended up caching just north of the event until it actually start, either way thanks for the cache and the little adventure.

Wp1 located with ease but the trick was to get to it. That obstacle crossed, coords obtained and headed off to gz. Once there expected a long search but got lucky and found it quite quickly. Tftc
Quickly located the object and wp1 but had to wait ages for cars and pedestrians to clear to grab it. Info obtained so set off for gz. Found a parking spot, followed by completely unnecessary bushbashing and then a remarkably quick find. Took the easy path out! Tftc
Well, not s FTF but a first to sign a new log book is pretty cool too. GPS couldn't settle on a location do it took a while of searching around. It's there though. Thanks.

Made this one harder than it should have been but got there in the end.

Waypoint 1 has been reinstated and a new container and log at GZ. Happy hunting.

(MD)
That wouldn't have been us and OHC by any chance. Even after a PAF, we were unable to locate this although it was dark and cold so maybe we just didn't look hard enough. Will keep and eye on it and be back again soon.
Hey guys looks like the container at wp1 is missing, checked it after a fellow cacher mentioned they could not find.
We were in the area grabbing a few trads and multis and we managed to make this our last find for the day after grabbing the co-ord's from wp1 we then set off to make a reasonably straight forward find at the final gz. Thanks hi pressure for the multi and hide.

Grabbed the info and found the cache at GZ after a nice stroll. Thanks Cache Guardians, found with The Tritonz.
In Melbourne today to attend the 10 months to Mega BBQ plus seek out some targeted caches in and around this side of town in the company of the McLookers. We are always interested in doing a multi over a regular trad so we set about looking for the first clue which then soon had us signing the log. Picked up the TB.
Thanks Cache Guardians for this simple offset.
Thanks Cache Guardians for this simple offset.
Unfortunately, I could not make that find, as I had only 10 minutes left to get back to Akoonah park, were my kids and Enryque were waiting for me. I somehow managed to retrieve the first clue, but unfortunately the final coords were not showing in the direction I needed to go. Thus, I let it go, but thanks anyways. [:o)]
I enjoy this walking track. Was a nice chance to find this today as I was working here. Tftc
Solved the puzzle months ago, but ran out of time before getting to the GZ.
Two other times, I thought I would have time to get a standard cache and then this one, and on both occasions I've run out time.
Today I was early for another appointment, so made sure I was going to get this one first, before going for any other cache.
Got to the GZ easily enough, however the trees kept interfering with my GPS signal and couldn't even tell me which side of the path to look. In particular it kept pointing me to a tree with a huge branch down. After spending over 15 minutes and now almost late, I gave up, starting walking away and saw the cache.
Got to my appointment only 5 minutes late.
Thanks for a great cache and experience Hi Pressure & Cache Guardians.

My brother and his family (with whom I'm staying at the moment) were heading down to Rosebud for the day so I commandeered one of the vehicles and headed over to Beaconsfield, Berwick and Harkaway. I was striking out for multis mainly and managed to find 5 plus 1 wherigo and 7 trads.
My third stop and 1st multi for the day.
Easily found the coords at the first waypoint, I was going to walk to the cache from here but decided it wouldn't be the best to leave the car here so I parked in a carpark nearby and made my way to GZ where cache was found in good condition.
Thanks Cache Guardians

Found with tassie expat while exploring this great area. (She did most of the work). Tftc
frmen1 and I were back in the area again and decided to grab a few smileys. This one was a nice easy multi. We loved the walk with the Bellbirds 'tinking' along. Thankfully I wasn't solo caching today as I'm vertically challenged in heels lol TNLN TFTC
like this one a lot, chellengeing at night but a great way to end a monday, thanks heaps and i will be back for your others
Back today with handy geoson. Just those few more inches certainly made the difference. He retrieved it for me straight away. SL and swap made before he easily replaced the cache back where we found it. TFTC.
That was the most frustrating cache I have attempted to date. Definitely not for shortys caching alone. The first waypoint was challenging enough for me but with a handy tools on board I was able to retrieve and replace the nano to get the coordinates. Arrived at gz and found cache right away but didn't have a hope in hell of retrieving it with my short arms. Looked around to try and find the right sticks to help. Kept trying for 40 mins because I was determined to get it. Came tantilisingly close a couple of times but finally had to admit it just wasn't going to happen today. Arms scratched to pieces and itchy I'm heading home. Luckily it's not far away. Will drag the boys down here next time so I can finally retrieve and sign the log
Good news this cache will soon be adopted and a maintenance run will be done to freshen things up

Found tonight on an adventure with grumpygramps1. Still working towards 1000 cache for 2015. TFTC
This might the best use of a nano of I've yet seen. It's certainly better than it being the *final* cache in a multi, at least! I ended up spending a not entirely trivial amount of time at GZ, seemingly studiously avoiding looking in the obvious Great Spot For A Cache...which did in fact contain the cache. Ludicrous. Thanks hi pressure!
Found the first part of this multi after a short time of searching and trying to look like I wasn't. Then off to the real thing. Walking along the path I was surrounded by a medley of bird song. Bell birds, whip birds, kookaburras, doves, wrens and some I didn't know, all pinging, whistling, chirping and laughing. It all made this a pleasant walk to a satisfying find. Thanks hi pressure this deserves a favourite for the walk.
Here for the Mega and out caching with Lgoody & roostaman.
So much variety in the caches and in the weather!
Very happy that we did not experience any rain to speak of.
Great to cache in a new environment.

Was on the idea of a find a day for this week. Was all going well for the Friday with a couple of late finds, this being the last. This one ended up being Saturday just past midnight. Searching, looking ready to give up with one last pass of the spotty and thought "I haven't tried there" and yes there it is. Ready to fill in log, and pen don't work. Used the spare pencil and left it there for 'Justin'. Justin case. Job done.
We have tried this one a couple of times, but we looked at every post but the one , we should've been looking at. Final once this point was achieved, the rest fell into place. Today, we are trying to do as many different sort of cache in a day. Looked good, until the rains came. Still determined to get my last one in. Thanks for a nice easy walk.

After dropping Geokid 1/2 at hockey practice around the corner, Geokid 2/2, the geodogs & I headed off for a "walk" aka a quick, close by caching expedition. We arrived at WP1 around dusk so we were hoping to find the nano before it got dark.
The GPSr took us to a likely spot, but despite some frantic looking, nothing So a quick look at the hint and we were looking again. I boosted Geokid 2/2 to a higher level, poked with my long, bendy, grabby tool and still nothing We were just about to give up when eagle-eyed Geokid 2/2 said "I think I've found it" as she poked around on the ground, and there it was.
After getting the co-ordinates, we put the nano back where we think it should've been based on the hint.
Once at GZ, we looked around by torch light for a few minutes before Geokid 2/2 once again spotted the prize. Took a little bit of fiddling, poking & prodding to get our hands on it, but eventually the log was signed and the cache returned to it's perfect hiding spot.
Thank you for a fun cache

Driving along in Emerald today I see a lady who I recognise...hmm...*scratches head*...dunno.....oh well she must work in a shop I frequent or something...anyway off to find this cache....A few hours later driving through Beacy....Hmm there is that woman again...sitting at the start of a local hi pressure cache.... *Lightbulb moment* I know! We picked this cache up at 1:45pm. Whilst this cache is a fairly old one, we decided, since we were parked right next to it, that we should join in the hunt for it even if it wasn't on our plan for the day. We enjoyed the initial co-ords and I think this is the only time those little blighter's should be used! The final took us a fair while to locate, as the GPS's we both pointing us to the wrong side of the track. In the end, I took a step back and looked around the area for a good place to hide a cache and was able to locate the cache!
Sharkiefan and I had a day of picking up caches that have been nominated for the 2014 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards. We headed down the long long road from the northern suburbs and picked up 16 caches for the day. Thanks for the cache hi pressure.

Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat.
Whilst camped at Berwick in November Mrs Felix scanned the State for challenge caches (one of her favourites)
The Caching by the Dozen challenge came to the fore. A few phone calls to 3 GeoFriends and a plan was concocted.
From those initial plans the seed was sown and the word spread far and wide.
We returned here with a convoy FelixII, PPrass, Sylken and karopi. After failing previously we had received some help (twice)... At GZ a quick find was made then we retraced our steps to the original location and replaced the waypoint to make life alot easier for the next finders.
TFTC hi pressure
Looking forward to meeting other geocachers at the next Australian Geocaching Mega event
