TFTC! Searched for a while before looking at previous logs.Used coordinates given by DavidWazza and soon had cache in sight!Brilliant hide!! Unfortunately the cache was full of water and the log book is very wet, so we were unable to sign. Found @ 10:00amDay 19 of caching streak Find #439
Great memories of hiking the Heysen here a few months ago - this one was a little tricky to find but after looking more widely it was soon in hand. Loved the find, thanks.
On a solo hike around Kyeema. Very cold but clear morning. A bit sad to leave this as a DNF. Used posted co-ordinates and also DavidWazza's suggestion, but came up empty handed both times. I will be returning with more support and more eyes! Thanks anyway.
Out today targeting a few previous DNF’s, if possible I want to turn some sad blue faces into happy smilies
Also targeting Tree Fishing caches…….I’m currently 43 of 50 for the GC9RQRK SFE Challenge - The Lawrie Keats Challenge
Who knows, might be the odd cache throughout todays journey as well
A quick find, sign and return here today

After spending a bit of time at my gz I read a few logs. Then I widened my search and the cache was located. A fun hide along the Heysen trail. TFTC
No luck today! I’m missing something… will check logs when I have internet connection. Will definitely be back to walk the trail! Such a pretty place. Thanks anyways!
Found while touring around Kuitpo forest and it’s surrounds. This cache is one that was found today. This one took quite a bit of looking around as my gps was quite bouncy. Finally made locked eyes with the cache and soon after, had it in hand. Opened the lid and tipped all the water inside on my leg. Doh. Signed log and rehid, FP for the thought.

This is so cool! Container was a bit wet but not too bad. We made a friend while here.
Staying at Yundi and spent the day caching tftc and this one gets a favourite from us
gave a well deserved favourite point
very cool cache, log is wet but very creative and clever
Water that was filled in the cache splashed all over us while opening but a very fun experience TFTC

Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I headed to Kuitpo with our mountain bikes to ride the Kuitpo / Prospect Hill trails. For a warm-up, we first stopped off at the northern-eastern side of the vicinity around Choorkaloo Camp Site to find a few remaining *Animal Facts* caches and others around the place. We then had a proper session on our mountain bikes, before closing out the day with a short walk in the southern side in Kyeema Conservation Park, and a few drive-by caches between Meadows and Echunga.
This geocache was on my priority/bucket list due to its high awarded FPs, so I had been looking forward in visiting this one. This geocache had us looking for about 10 minutes, and it wasn't the cache hide that illuded us, but the poor/inaccurate coordinates. There was a rather large obvious hollow tree that caught our attention, but that was 20-25 m away from the posted coordinates, and didn't look like it contained any evidence of a cache. Eventually after returning to the posted coordinates and wondering where a cache hide with the hint be applicable, I then managed to spot the cache. My coordinates had the cache about 15 m away, with my coordinates of the cache at S 35° 16.386' E 138° 41.505'.
This cache was constructed very well, and I can see why this has so many Favourite Points! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. I found it interesting that a few of the last finders don't have their name in the logbook - did they actually find it? I've attached images of the last few pages of the logbook, so the CO may wish to take action or verify those finds.
A very well constructed, and for that reason, a FP from me, despite having not the best coordinates (can't those just be updated to facilitate future finds?). For that reason, a Favourite Point from me also. Thanks Maux Faux for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/@jesswrigley stamp.

I was a bit dubious about looking for this one given the recent DNFs. And as I was out of phone range I only had the last 4 or 5 logs downloaded.
We searched around GZ for a while and didn't find anything interesting apart from a little red stone that I thought might have been a swap. I was about to give up and decided to take a step back and think a little more about the name of the cache and the hint. Then I spied the well constructed cache about 10m away. Well done, I love these sort of caches, so a shonky favourite point awarded from me.
There was a bit of water in the cache that I emptied out but the logbook was dry.
Good to have a find after DNFs and 8 months since the last finder. Looking back over the logs now it seems this has deluded quite a few over the years. Thanks Maux Faux

Didn’t manage to find the cache but did find OZGrumpy’s lost stamp! Will try this one again another time
Made the short walk down to this one, a well constructed and hidden hide.
Got up early this morning and headed south to collect a few caches before an event in mount barker around lunch time. A good morning out with 65 finds in total.

Initially made the trek to GZ and had a look around for 15 minutes with no luck at all and I thought what am I missing so I checked the logs and eventually knew what I was looking for and about 15m from where my phone wanted me to search I discovered this cool cache.

Was a mission. I searched down and after reading logs, I searched up. No joy. Determined, the search continued until I discovered it over my back a little closer to the ground than I’d imagined. Got to the log (fresh one present) and returned as found. Thanks.
I had a go at this one. I searched many trees including a fox hole, but was unable to find this cache. I spent way too long on this one and didn't get to finish the OTD series. Will be back
An after work geocaching hunt for me today. Went the long way home.
This was a real surprise, I actually read the description to understand what I needed to look for. I have removed all of the old stuff and will need to throw most away and replaced with a log book in a fresh bag. The lid may need some silcone to seal it.
Thanks to Maux Faux from mogni

Made my day.....made my year...all the searching has resulted in my greatest find...The Joshua tree...RIP as i lost my son...a memorial for him.
Parked at gate and it was nice walk in. Spotted a tree that I thought would be the Joshua tree and it was but where is the cache?
Read hint and it all became clear. Log is very wet so I picked out a blank page in the middle and managed to get it to take ink. Hopefully the ink doesn't run making our signing unreadable. CO doesn't seem to have been active for almost a year so the next finder may want to bring a log sheet and a zip lock bag with them.

Rode the mountain bike from Kuitpo HQ to this cache (great fun through all the trails and bush), along with Baggs71. GPS coords were accurate which led us straight to GZ. Fav point for the great setup and fun hide. Was unable to sign the log as it was saturated - photo attached to prove that we did find the cache
Spent a couple of days at Kuitpo with the 4WD club and got in some caching as well. TFTC.
Back as promised, with a new perspective.
Took in the whole scene as I approached and saw what I missed last time. Yes, that's a special tree.
Thanks for the interesting hide, Maux Faux

The last search for the day ended in a DNF. Looked in all the obvious spots. Embarassing if I've missed finding a standard sized cache. Thems the breaks.
But reading the webpage again, it looks like I missed vital information and wasn't looking properly [B)]

Not happy Jan! I trekked out there from the carpark; i went down that hill; GPS jumping all over the place but both phone and Montana settled on a GZ ... hint suggested fallen trees so I thoroughly checked the trees around GZ ... perhaps Hint suggests it's up not down ... checked up each tree ... logs suggest it could be 10m away ... so I stumble in a 10m radius checking each stump, fallen branch and burnt gum. Finally, darkness had fallen and I gave in; only to not enjoy the uphill stumble in the vague direction of the road. One grumpy cacher here. Perhaps I'll try another day.
Two penguins and two horses went bike riding... found with Pony1966 on a fab day for a bike ride. Lovely work on this one, fave point from us. TFTC
Always good to clean up a previous DNF. Today I was wearing appropriate footwear to be trampling around in places such as this (unlike last time).
Found quite easily this time.

We came here a bit over a week ago and we were rained on and DNFd. Intended to come back at the next opportunity and spend as long as we needed finding it (Apty had DNFd on this one years ago, too, and it was about time it came off the nemesis list). He developed a system to work it out, then had it in less than a minute. Turns out we were *so close* last time!
Fantastic hide! Well done

I've been here a couple of times before. I kind of thought I had a reasonable maybe , well sort of idea of the hide type, but couldn't for the life of me find it.
The last time Chelle and I called past after finding some others and the rain drizzled as we came in. The longer we looked the wetter and heavier the rain got. " Let's just stand under a bit of shelter and wait it out," I says. 10 mins later and it hadn't let up so the " We'll come back another day" strategy was adopted.
Today's the day.
Armed with the knowledge that others found it 10m from GZ I pegged out a spot and looked around. Blooming heck! There it was poking it tongue at me and saying " Nah nah nah". And the location was very familiar to the last very rainy attempt. Sheesh.
BTW The Joshua Tree album by U2 is my favourite and the first cache I put out was "Where the Streets have no name".

out for the day with sir_spectre found 10 metres away from listed co ords, good to see something different
i dragged out jacknor to the forest in the rain, the co ords where 10 metres out. found just before the rain got harder.
Thought it would be a good idea to get the daughter out in the fresh air as she is a bit sick but think it made her worse oops. This one took way too long to locate. After searching we found the nice constructed cache anout 10 meters away. Thanks
Nice walk to cache with geo kids. Took awhile as compass was about 10 m out but soon in hand. Tftc
This one eluded me today. I will return another day when I have better footwear on to make a better search.
Wow! Took me a while, found my 1st

Out for a day of caching and a picnic lunch with ROMA123 and Madham02 on this beautiful sunny day. We were in the area doing the nearby OTD series and as we were passing we stopped here to try and find this one. ROMA123 had been here before without success so she was keen to have another go. [^]
We arrived at GZ and there were trees, lots and lots of trees. [?] So we started a methodical search without too much luck, widening the arc all the time. Came back to where the GPSr was pointing and Madham02 just happened to look in a different direction and said "there it is"
What a cool hide and well deserving of a favourite point.

Stripling Warrior and Zionseekers searched for 45 minutes but we couldn't find this one. You defeated us today but we will be back for another attempt.
Found this one with some of the grandies last year. 20/4/14 signed but not logged. One of our all time favorites.
The Geo Daughters 1pinkexplorer and 1funnyhoney had 2 pupil free days. We thought it would be good to go off camping. What better than to go camping where there are lots of caches to find. Had a great time camping at Chookarloo. Loved finding this cache and a few others near by as it meant that we had to go walking in the forest spending time as a family.
Hevwalker12 came out to meet us on the first day (sunday) as there were some caches she wanted help with and to get while she didn't have Geo mutt with her.

Out caching on this beautiful autumn afternoon with the_xtrailers. It took a little time to find this one. The tree was a bit illusive but then spotted the cache. It was a bit damp. I replaced the ripped plastic bag so hope it will stay dry for a bit longer. SL TFTC
Out with Tardis Trio and Frog Hoppin' on a much too chilly wet day - but all for a good cause - caching fun!!
This series took longer than we expected - some challenging hides, and a few we had to return to due to us all wearing Mr Tardis Blind goggles from time to time.
But a great series and well worth the effort.
Thank Maux Faux for the find.

Mr Tardis was out caching today with froghoppin and Team Scoobster. While out grabbing caches in the area, we went for a walk to this one in a lovely area of forest.
A great cache, and I really liked the smooth operation of retreiving and hiding the cache. A favourite point for sure.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Maux Faux.

We had set out for the day to collect these very southern caches for something new to do. We had set off from the North earlier with Locus Cache, and Harleyjohn in tow to get Ismartis and head off to collect some smileys. We all did the boardwalk series first prior to heading into town and down south.
HarleyJohn had a goal to reach 1000 finds while out and about today and he achieved in on day 31! A happy achievement for him.
We met another team on the way and we talked about geocaching
We walked around a bit collecting some other caches and the GEo Pets Winnie and Brodie seemed content with their caching attempts and walk through the forest.
We saw venturers walking through the forest and wearing weird outfits
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find it took us a while to find Joshua's tree with so many nice tree's around
Maybe the next finders could bring a new log & bag this one was a bit damp and ripped. and no-one had a log on them.

Out for the day knocking off some animal facts with locus cache, ismartis, travellinbees plus geopets brodie and winnie. We went up hills and down hills round bends and over bridges. We seen the fires devastation and the new growth coming back.

Brodie and I set out to do the 8 Animal Facts caches on the boardwalk at Mt Crawford Forest and then the 31 OTDs of January down Kuitpo Forest way.
We were accompanied by travellinbees, Winnie and Harleyjohn2569 for the boardwalk caches and then I picked up Ismartis on our way to the Kuitpo caches.
Final total of 47 smileys for the day and lots of fun!
We wandered in and on the way, I said 'it's either there or there!' Option 1 was correct although it took me a little while to find it as option 2 is closer to GZ than option 1
Cool hide that I enjoyed playing with
You're right, a much nicer find than other boring caches! [^]

Was picked up by locus cache & brodie at 12pm and with Travelling Bees, Harley John and Winnie in another car we headed down south to do the new OTD January series .
Stopped at a great little bakery on south road to pick up some lunch and then on we went to the series location.
Ofcourse a few diversions along the way were inevitable and this was one of them.
In the end locus cache cleverly sniffed this one out when the rest of us were beginning to give up hope.
A nicely done cache but it does seem to be taking on a bit of water and the log book was quite damp.

Found it this time after reading logs but someone has tightened it up that much I cannot open it and log find. I took photo instead.
Cleaned up the cleat holding the rope and this will hopefully protect the tree for a bit longer. Glad to see the cache survived the fire a while back!!
This cache is in really good nick considering its age, we hope ours have the same longevity, we did the deed to sign the log, and replaced safe and sound as found.
We love walking through the National Parks south of Adelaide, makes us proud to think this is at our back door.
Thanks Maux Faux for this thought out cache, and the wander through the bush.

We found the cache after wandering around in circles for a while, and found it to be about ten metres from where the GPSr was pointing. We soon had the clever cache in hand for the logging, and can report that all is nice and dry inside the container. Unfortunately, the original anchoring method has caused some damage to the tree, and is generally frowned upon by the caching community.
Thanks Terror Australis.

This cache threw me a bit, I couldn't find it and ran out of time. I did meet a nice couple on the way back to the car park who told me their children had planted a lot of trees here. After a brief chat I walked off in the wrong direction and had to backtrack past them again...lol! Kyeema has evaded me today but I will return.
Found a few like this, and I think I've given favourite points to all. Gotta love a hide a bit different than the usual lunchbox.

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia.
Currently camped with our Caravan at Kuitpo. We left our Cat safely tucked up in the caravan and set off to claim a few smilies on some park n grabs as the weather forecast wasnt looking to kindly for any long walks. [8)]
Geez these were some very scenic caches that we were able to grab today.
Given our approach to this cache was not the conventional Mrs Felix waited in the car and Mr Felix headed on in to this one. He loved it. He was just commencing regaling the tale of this cache when yet another car raced by us. Except this car stopped and reversed up next to us. Lol, sprung by Huurtle and Postiegirl. We just love meeting other cachers whilst out on the hunt.
Your cache is very deserving of a fave point.
