No finds in a year and a half, maybe the CO could take a look and confirm if it’s still active.
On weekend with friends in Inverloch and today visited another friend in Kongwak just across the road from this cache. After a stroll soon had cache in hand with members of Team Yarra and Perri Pigtails TFTC
This took a while to find, especially when I believed Wal-len that it'd be where she found it years ago. When we gave up on that idea and followed the GPS it was found in a few seconds. View not as spectacular today as it was heavily overcast. Good walk though.
Glad i persisted. Made it harder than it should have been in hideously wet and windy conditions, especially unusual for Feb.
Lovely spot, glad i stopped, despite the weather. Tftc.

We were on our way to stay with our good friends at their holiday house in Venus Bay for the weekend when we stopped to look at the view. Who am I kidding? We stopped to find the cache, then look at the view LOL.
Grumpy muggle teenager stayed in the car while geodaughter and I walked to GZ. It really is a lovely spot but windy, and even windier at the top of the hill and up the stairs. Luckily Stormgirl13 found the cache quickly as we hadn't bought our jackets, we picked up the TB that was in there and headed back to the car as the dark clouds threatened.
Thanks for the lovely break in our journey and the wonderful view

Stopped here on the way back to Melbourne, and after visiting Kongwak market. More like Windy View than Wide View, it was howling and pretty freezing for November! Lovely views though. Left a geocoin. TFTC
I've stopped at the parking area a few times to take photos, and never even noticed the lookout 200m up the hill. Thanks for the encouragement to stop and enjoy the lovely views of South Gippsland. Thanks for the cache narns1mav
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

Lovely day for a trip out caching. After just doing two T5's near by this was barely a challenge. Loved the spot and the perfect 360 degree views. Thanks narns1mav for the cache.

Hands and knees galore. Geomums were too distracted at taking selfies on the lookout. "Super Trekker mum," apparently wanted a trek but was too distracted by the terrific view.
Found on the way home from a day out. Nice easy find with a perfect view! TFTC
Have only ever stopped here once and that was when i was still a muggle great to see a cache here with geodude#74 tftc
Nice quick find on our way home, with Lilmissgeo. Good views from up here! TFTC!
A quick find once we found GZ. Doing a caching circuit today to have a look around the countryside and hopefully boost the numbers. TFTC
27/02/2016 - approx 3pm - Had to laugh ... spied someone on the lookout & someone under the lookout as we drive to Korumburra about 3pm today. dgfb33 forgot to toot on the way past. We had a chuckle ... we knew what they were up to
Wow great location glad cache has been replaced as I had logged a dnf originally cache found in good condition with lots of snails living on it Tftc
Suscoe had a bit of exploration work today trying to find a good number of caches that we missed this week as we were wandering the countryside of this area.
We are enjoying wandering the country roads and taking in the farmland scenes around here, Some fine looking cattle too.
A cloudy start to the day with drizzle keeping things cool, a strong wind at times and later on some delightful sunshine too.
16th find of the day.
A nice spot, the views are great in many directions.
Thanks to narns1may for placing this cache here.

After driving past this one hundreds of times I had some spare time up my sleeve and decided to go for a quick way to see the views. Well worth it. TFTC.
What better way to spend you Australia day, with an afternoon of geocaching. Geo hubby and I went for a drive south to find caches, have a nice lunch and then grab a few more caches before heading home. What amazing views from this location. Thanks for bringing us here.
It was blowing a gale as we walked up the track towards gz for this cache. Once there the cache was a quick and easy find, and after admiring the view, we headed back down to the Geotruck to continue our journey home. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.

The CO is still actively finding caches but appears to have lost interest in maintaining their own. Time to clear the map.
will be over that way in the next few weeks will get it sorted
thanks biggles1024 for your concern

The wind here was perishingly cold. I wouldn't have been surprised if chunks of ice had come sailing past. We searched high and low despite the conditions but couldn't find this cache. The structure at GZ is very new and we're wondering if the cache has fallen foul of the building works????

DNF. We looked all over but came up empty. Not too many hiding spots unless a very sneaky hide.
Looked high and low. No luck.
On the plus side the views are stunning even in a rainy day.

Heading back to Korumburra with Team Crackers, after completing the rail trail.
Enjoyed the views of the valley, then made a quick find.
Many thanks for placing this cache, narns1mav, for us and others to find.

With our destination being Wonthaggi, we set out very early, partly to avoid the ugly weather predicted for the whole state; but more importantly to observe the heat being generated by the Sous vide /Weber cook-off at the Wonthaggi's 2015 New Year Event. This is one of the caches we couldn't just pass by, the walk up the hill was really rewarding - what an amazing panorama!
Thanks to narns1mav for the hunt.

Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat, today was moving day.
We were moving closer to attend the Wonthaggi New Years Event. We stopped here to let traffic pass us. Cache was found okay, but when we went to move on, for an unknown reason the caravan breaks were locked on. Took a while to sort out before we were able to move on. (A memorable find)
TFTC Looking forward to meeting other geocachers at the next Australian Geocaching Mega event

It was a miserable day, so of course frmen1 and I go geocaching. Views could only be imagined as visibility was about 400m. A quick find as it was only partly covered. TNLN TFTC
Out caching today with Lisette and Jellybean on a cold, miserably wet July afternoon. We reached our point of saturation & gave up on caching in Korrumburra. The rain just wouldn't let up, so hoping it's not as bad in Wonthaggi we moved on. Pulled into parking bay here 3:47 pm and looked back towards Korrumburra & wondered if we'd risk it! The more intrepid of the party ventured forth while opted to stay in the car to try & dry out a little, discovered today that my new parka isn't as waterproof as it should be! TFTC
Driven past here a millions times, but never actually stopped to enjoy the view. It is really nice up here!! TFTC.
29/01/2014 - 1.00pm - 5th for the day - with driver dgfb33 & ceebee2013. Already located this when I wasn't signed up. Did the short mountain goat visit not the long trek. Grass has been mowed so it wasn't quite so worrysome. View not so good due to smoke haze from nearby [Leongatha South (Anderson Rd)] fire.
Very nice day and very nice view. A must stop on the way to inverloch! Tftc - with LB
called in today for my first needed owner maintenance in just under 5 years since the cache was placed
left a new log book

Today we departed Inverloch and took the scenic route home (about 7.5hrs of travel time).
This was our first stop. A short walk to the platform, a few photos and then signed log.

Driven past this spot thousands of times over the years and decided to find this one. The track is extremely overgrown with long grass so take care as the weather warms up for slithering critters. The log is extremely full so I squeezed my name in at the side of another. Another cache with spectacular views.
12.20 pm 10/11/2013 - Third signing for the day (found with dgfb33 & Mrs Dgfb33). Think the shire (or whoever) might need to give the walking track to the lookout a bit of a mow .... !
What a beautiful view
Couldn't sign the log as it's full!
Maybe if your going, take a sheet if paper

Well, its the weekend again and my caching partner in crime SedgwickDave and I decided our regular caching day would be on a Sunday and we were to head out towards Korumburra for lunch, picking up some select caches on the way. Despite winter being with us, it was not too cold and we even saw the sun in patches during the day.
After a great burger lunch at a cafe in Korumburra, we headed out of town for a few more caches before it was time to head home. This was the final cache of the day, a short walk to the lookout, left my GPS in the car, but managed to locate the cache none the less. A great view was experienced from the lookout, its just a pity the power lines got in the way of the photo.
Thanks to narns1mav for the cache. TNLN

Caching about today along the country roads on the way to Korumburra trying out my new toy the Nexus7 with Ahomburg. Do enjoy these bigger drives as it fun to see where the cachers lead you. The weather turn out to be rather nice and a good mix of different cache types found. The 3 type rule achieved once more. A good result today with 20 finds and 2 DNFs, I still see plenty more to grab which will be for another trip soon.
Final cache found today and another nice quick find. Another good spot for taking some photos. Spotted the survey mark on the walk up. Thanks for bringing me here. TFTC narns1mav
