Out chasing Rainbows with morty8888 today. In the Spirit of teamwork morty8888 allowed me to prepare a list which included 4 previous dnf caches owned by the CO. Boy that was a steep climb but worth the view and the find. Cache all good. SLRC as found. TFTC Rainbow Spiriit.
Out again with Oldmorty and we picked one of the warmest days so far this spring. With the sounds of summer ringing out, we took on RS caches. This was a steep climb in the heat but when at the top, a breeze helped and so did the views. TFTC!
With a work gig cancelled, lets use my paid time for productive geocaching . Came here for a spectacular view of yet another part of Greater Sydney metropolitan region. TFTC Rainbow Spirit
Came here alone, literally gkt attacked by a bird on the way here. Makes for a cool conversation tho
Brewmaker took me on a walk up this steep hill to the very top. We found the two caches then sat down and I had a treat. Then we walked back to the car to go home. TFTC
I don't know what all the fuss is about finding this cache. I found it easily - in fact I found two caches about 10m apart, both fitting the tree part of the description! I'm not sure which was the original and which was the replacement, so I signed both and replaced both as found, covering with a little extra camo. I'll leave it to the CO to work out which one is which.
A decent walk up the hill with GeodogZelda. collected the cache and then we stopped to have lunch before heading off to collect Mrs Brew and back to The Shire. TFTC

Out for some birthday geocaching and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful time to visit this beautiful cache! Cache views is certainly right!
Hint made this a very easy find, only difficulty was the walk up

Found this cache while going exploring with my mate. Very nice view of the city! TFTC!!
Hi Rainbow Spirit,
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to **post a note** (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date, if you do not then you cache may be archived without further note from a reviewer. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.

Didn’t even really fight the DNFs by looking tonight, because sometimes you just want to see why the CO put one there, and finding the cache is secondary, and glad I came for the great view thank you
Spent a little while searching but it evaded me today unfortunately.
First day getting back into it since I was a teenager! Fingers cross for the next one.
Thanks for the views!

Found It!
I walked up the hill and after a bit of looking around I spotted the cache. Not a bad view from up here.

It took a while to find because we went up the hill and we tried digging around the area
Was going to give up but found at the end good view too .... did not bring a pen lol make sure to bring a pen..
took about 15 -20 minutes of looking it was hidden very well had to kick up a few pieces of bark to find
Easy find, GPS was spot on. Didnt sign the log as I forgot my pen and wasnt doing that treck again. Good spot.
Photo spoiler attached if your struggling.

This took me a bit of time to find, possibly because I was looking for a larger cache, but eventually I located the micro sized cache tucked away. TFTC Rainbow Spirit.
My second cache of the day.
This one took me quite a bit longer to find than it really should have.
With the generous clue i approached the GZ expecting an easy find but thanks to the good camo i ended up taking about 20 mins to find it.
I ended up resorting to a systematic approach, starting at one end and eliminating potential hiding places one by one and eventually spotted the cache in a place i swear i had already checked.
I have to say though the view from the GZ was worth the effort.
Thanks.

Located at 10:11am. #928.
I wanted a second find but couldn’t produce the goods nearby at Lake Outlook so made my way to this one. It was a good stroll up the hill and along to the cache a lá The Hill’s Hill, with excellent views too at GZ. I located the cache, signed the log and covered with a little extra camo. Cheers for the placement RS.

Whoops, how did I miss logging this cache? Came here with rassilon256 and geobeau after the cache nearby, it's fun bringing along the non-caching spouse, because then I get questions like "Is this it?" where the "it" in question refers to an empty tuna tin...
That aside, he also came up with the goods, fresh eyes. After that the three of us bumbled along to some dnfs before lunch. Thanks Rainbow Spirit

The views were unfortunately not all we'd hoped for on a rainy Sunday, but they were there. The cache soon bubbled to the surface as we searched the usual spots.
Now this is a satisfying find.
Last cache had me wandering around the trees in circles.
This one CO ords spot on.
Cache left out in open so I've re camo with pile of sticks broken about same length.
Picked up a few 10c bottle around gz.
Log new.
Cache container in good condition.

Indeed amazing views, however I found three other "containers" before finding the actual cache, two of those containers still had needles in them, within 2 meters of the cache, so I was very carefull in searching between the bark!

No luck here either today. Lots of places to look with the hint but not to be found.
Had to visit our Aircraft Terminal Approach Radar site at Cecil Park today, to carry out some maintenance tasks, and couldn't resist grabbing a few caches en-route.
After completing my work at Cecil Park I was now heading back to the airport (KSA) but took a slight detour through Cecil Hills to see what else I could pick up.
No luck for me with this one today. Searched around GZ and found a nice black box that I was sure was the cache container, but alas it turned out to be a sharps (used syringe/needle) container. TFTH anyway Rainbow Spirit.

DNF pride.... so much rubbish at GZ. So many trees... scratched everywhere... nothing.... arghhhh

When I finally found it, the container didn't match the previous pics posted...then I opened it. Aha!
Tried to ride our bikes up the hill but soon resorted to pushing them up. Took a few minutes of scratching around before we found it. TFTC and the views.
After a couple of quiet weeks caching wise due to other commitments I was out to bag a few today. Picking up 8 along Elizabeth Drive as I made my way into Cecil Hills to tackle 10 along a fruit trail.
My sixth stop this time snaring a GA trig point and 2 GC caches in the one stop.
After taking my photo of the trig point and signing Water Towers #10 - Cecil Hills I walked over to GZ where a hide was quickly discovered. After signing the log and replacing as found. tftc

Took us a while to spot this one. Well hidden. Log is a bit of a mess. Signed our name on one of the pieces. Shame someone has dumped a whole load of rubbish nearby... equipped with bank statements and letters bearing their name. I hope the council tracks them down. Apart from the rubbish this was our second lovely view for today and our second hill climb. Getting some nice exercise. Thanks
22//5/16. 2:03 PM. Cache #3866.
1st of 6 finds (plus 1 DNF) in Cecil Hills.
I started off at this one, working my way up the hill. and it all looked familiar. I then realised I had been in this area before, when I found "Water Towers #10" last November. Now I'm wondering why I didn't grab this on the same day?
I checked the hint. Great, there's only about a dozen or so to check. After scratching about like a deranged brush turkey, I finally found it after checking just about every other tree. Blends in well. Signed, replaced and headed downhill. Next target was a short drive away at "Lakes Edge". TFTC.

Found it! We love the view we had to search from a few trees as the gps was jumping around a bit. TFTC RS!
This micro wasn't as micro as some making for a nice quick find - which isn't always the cache with RS caches! Hurray!
Hint lead me to a quick find, lovely view from up here. I drove out here to collect BB's hide for the clue, thanks RS

Came out this direction a bit late today with three caches specifically targeted.
Only found two of the three, but at least grabbed a few others on my way.
* * * END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION * * *
Walked up the hill from the water tower and was presented with only one possible hide for the size specified.
A few pokes around and the hidey hole was found - CIH. Good coordinates make things much easier.
Completed signing duties and replaced before taking in the view under the cloud cover.

After finally conceding defeat at "Water Towers #10 - Cecil Hills", I saw this cache was nearby and headed over. I noticed some of the views were incredible and made me think what the view would be like before the houses were built. I regarded the hint and kept look at every tree base and found myself going in circles. I wonder if the power lines interfere with the GPS because I just couldn't get it to settle. I kept searching and finally looked at one tree and saw something just sticking out. The previous finder 'camoed' the cache very well. SL. TFTC.
