My gps was jumping all over the place here, dont know why, but i did look all round but no luck
I think this was missing last time I was here. Had to put the brain into gear to locate this one couldn’t see a metallic spot but got it in the end. Nice hide TFTC
As we were walking part of the Coast to Vines trail today to collect some of the OTD December series, we thought we'd start off with this one. Luckily there were no muggles around today which meant a quick find at GZ. A good spot for one of these tins. TFTC
Took longer than it should have. Had to wait for some Muggles to pass as well but found it in the end.

Needed to build up some steps for Steptember, so after work I headed down to McLaren Vale to target this curve of the OTD December trail. This one happened to be nearby. Nice easy find, and though a traditional container it was hidden well. TFTC.
DNF. Day 31 of our SA holiday. Starting to feel very sad as we only have two more days left in Adelaide and we have had such a marvellous time with wonderful weather and many days of fairly concentrated caching. Today we loaded the bikes and went to McLaren Vale to do two more months of the OTD series. Although the weather was so much cooler it was very good for riding and I think this is one of the best days we have had - caching by bike amongst the vines with gorgeous scenery. We also picked up several caches that were also on the trail, or nearby.
Searched for this one for a while. Was with a previous finder who located the attaching mechanism for the magnetic container. The container itself was missing. Needs maintenance.

Had a look for a while, enjoying some shade but didn't manage to locate the cache. Thanks anyway.
Grabbed this cache while doing caches west of McLaren Vale. Walked about 10km in total with a visit to the bakery for lunch. Found after a bit of a hunt around. signed log
Two Norwegian travellers on vacation/geocaching in Australia. Travelling by car from Brisbane to Adelaide with stops in interesting and not so interesting places.
Until now: Coolum Beach - Kilcoy, Stanthorpe, Byron Bay, Port Macquire, Nelson Bay, Hunter Valley, Wagga Wagga, Beechworth and Melbourne.
After Melbourne we are moving slowly westward and will stop at villages and small towns along the coast.
Anglesea, Lorne, Apollo Bay, Warrnambool, Naracoorte, Meningie and Victor Harbour.
Left a wet Victor Harbour this morning and fortunately the rain has stopped, but still very windy.

There were two ducks nearby as we were searching for the cache. Even if we didn't see them, they would have seen us. Luckily though, we don't suffer from anatidaephobia.
We do however suffer from occasional bouts of cache blindness, and we had a slight touch of it here today. Mrs J eventually came up with the goods in a spot I was sure I'd already checked.
Is there a term for the fear of pigeons?
Thanks bregor.

Apty found it, let the newbies have the experience of finding one of SA's most common cache types, and the event organiser, dubbed 'Geocaching Guru' bumbled around with cache blindness. Yep. TFTC LOL
Out on a Meetup walk along the Coast to Vines Rail Trail.
I found it quite quickly then stood back and watched the newbies. Eric finally put his hand on it.

After DNFing this one on a previous attempt, today I found it in the first place I looked. Great to see another very old log book. TFTC. 14/05/2016, 10:50 AM Find #2128
Limbage had today off and decided to storm the OTD series pertaining to his birthday whilst walking a lengthy-ish distance. 37 caches in all.
Final cache for the day - had to wait for cyclists to pass by before logging. TFTC bregor!

Found while out for a bit of exercise (and to pick up a free extra caches at the same time. SL TFTC
Having driven along past here many a time thinking will have to go for a walk grab this one someday, as luck would have it we were riding the bike along the trail with Mattycat, a find after some methodical searching rather easy find in the end as we searched in other cache like spots before taking the cache blindness blinkers off.TFTC bregor
Looked in all the wrong places, overthought and overclimbed, until Mr Frog found the little ducking cache !
All done while out for a weekend of cache finding with Mr and Mrs Froghoppin.
I stole Mrs Frog's bike to join Mr Frog on the rail trail and Mrs Frog
went hopping around the nearby markets for some other special finds!

I could win an award for most caches found but not logged online. Please forgive this very generic log. If I admired your cache you'll get a favourite point from me and I'll likely come back and edit this log once I've caught up. If this generic log makes you unhappy - delete it. Life's too short to worry over it, I had fun finding your cache either way. Cheers!
Sigh...with this particular cache it was persistence, not creativity which finally paid off. An excellent hide and one which is has been on my to do list for a very long time and that's most of McLaren Vale completed thank you bregor!
Found on second attempt
The first time was one of the first i was looking for and didnt know what i was doing

Trying to get some numbers as quickly as possible, I figured that doing some of the OTD caches would be the quickest way.
Tonight ended up being a lovely adventure, though
Only a little bit of drizzling rain at times, just enough to make the air smell sweet and clean [^]
Lovely darkness but still enough warmth and gentle breeze to make for an absolutely gorgeous night [^]
Total cache finds for an evening in the south due to picking muggle partner up from his mother's was 35 with a sort of DNF literally because I couldn't be bothered looking for more than two minutes as muggle partner was waiting.
Thankfully this was quite a quick find and a nice hide too, just enough information to have people looking everywhere but in the right spot

Came back down this way to complete the october OTD series and a few extras along the way with gf and geodaughter. After a previous failed attemp came today with extra set of eyes and made a quick find. Met the lovely lava12 just leaving as we pulled up.

Found on a caching day out with the Hero Husband (Moneydork), Semik and Skippy. Thanks for helping make it a great day.
We drove straight past this one without knowing where to turn off so it was good to be able to find a way to it later in the day. TFTC.
Having been home sick during the week I decided to go for a drive and walk in the sunshine on a beautiful spring day.
Got to GZ and started looking in the wrong places at first before I read the hint. Had to wait out a couple of groups riding along the trail, then went to where my GPSr was pointing and soon had the cache in hand. [^] [^]
Thanks for the cache bregor.

Thanks for the cache bregor.
Found very quickly & easily with the help if the hint & reading previous logs. I approached from the southwest, parking on a side lane off Martins rd, as this was on my way home from my morning school drop off. It was a very pleasant stroll down a short stretch of the Coast & Vines Trail in beautiful spring sunshine. Thanks heaps bregor!
Ducking didn't help but Sneaky Kit's deft delving avoided a disappointing DNF. TFTF
TFTC. Hunted and hunted and hunted 2 GPS on zero and still no find. The rain was coming and we were giving up and I earnt my place today . Something made me put my hand there for the last time. Arrr why did it take so long for 3 of us to find Bregor nearly tricked us again.
Ducks!... Ohhh, wrong kind of duck.
Was a nice "I'm too tired to be sneaky so I don't want a roadside cache" before climbing into bed to forget about another week of work. Never been under here, was something about it that I found cool but I couldn't put my finger on it, wasn't the graffiti that unfortunately appears everywhere though.
Thanks bregor!

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia.
Currently camped with our Caravan at Kuitpo. We left our Cat safely tucked up in the caravan whilst we set off on this magnificent winter day to explore.
Our aim was to see as much as we could and hopefully complete the Cats and Dogs series.
We were lucky with the weather for most of the day but the wind came in before lunch so choosing a lunch spot was tricky and lunch wasn't till nearly 1.30pm [xx(] at Port Willunga. [B)]
Another fantastic winter day, with a vast variety of caches including more than a handful of nanos . Thank goodness we had actually been starting to get withdrawals and been thinking of placing some ourselves whilst here. [:X]
Lol. We thought we would tackle this last week but did not read the cache page prior and of course found us on the main road with no accessible parking. Today after learning from our previous disaster we parked in the appropriate spot and Mr Felix walked off to this cache.
Thanks for helping us tour SA whilst using Geocaching bregor

Today our plans are to cache Victor Harbour with earthlight & the x trailers picking up caches along the way, we didn't quite make it that far as we kept stopping to grab some of the many caches along the way, all told i managed 67 with no DNFs the weather held out for us today with slight drizzle towards the end of the night finally turning into heavier rain, gwen from the x trailers hit her milestone of 5000 finds tonight and it was smiles all round, it was a great day had be all and another trip is already being planned to get to Victor with no distractions on the way (yeah right lol) after a lengthy search we thought we were going to have a DNF on our hands, earthlight came to the rescue by finding it : ) TFTC
This one took us way longer than it should have
Guess we were all getting tired as been caching since 8.30 am and now after midnight
Liz (Earthlight) was the one who spotted the sneaky cache

Our 400th, we having been geocaching for just on a year and it has taken us places we would not have explored if we weren't geocaching. Thanks Bregor, now for the next 400!!! Tftc
This one eluded us today, even though GPS said we were right on it!! We'll be back!!!
Very cooperative GPS on a fine clear day led me straight to the spot. First place I looked. Thanks for brightening up this bike ride.
DPSearching, Faasty and I lost our geocaching cherry on this one! Were in the neighbourhood at a nearby restaurant and thought we'd give it a try. The coordinates took us straight to the spot and it could have been a very quick find, but we then spent 15 minutes hunting around. Eventually found it though (tip - you do not have to cling precariously to the outside of the freeway handrail as trucks race past close to your head to find it!), and a good start to our geocaching lives.
Found with auzzie convict tftc talking about making things hard for ourselves lol
Sorry bregor for the generic log but I'm trying to catch up on my logging, I currently have over 1000 to log before hitting some powertrails in the US after the block party next week. As always I enjoy the hunt whether I'm solo or with some of my caching or muggle friends. Thanks to those who have accompanied me to make the day more pleasurable and many thanks bregor for placing this cache.
I enlisted the help of micaparamedic to find this one as I had a previous DNF (several years ago). Searched everywhere, then it finally showed itself. We asked ourselves why we didn't see it earlier, commented on the sometimes perverse nature of geocaching then moved on. Pleased to get this one off my list. TFTC bregor.
We all made this one harder than it was. Lot of road works going on. Thanks bregor.
A simple cache made difficult by our overthinking the cache notes. It was finally found by hubby when he found it in a place he thought that he had already looked. SL TFTC

I was in the area at a big wine sale. 8 boxes of wine and a cache or two. Not a bad way of spending some time.
Once I realized I was looking for a micro it was a quick find.
I left a calling card.
