Scratched around a bit, but no luck here today. Couldn’t even find the sign mentioned in the hint.
Small sign no longer there, may need to change hint. Really creative and cool cache. Tftc
Didn’t find it before some junior muggles appeared to enjoy the area. I’ll be back!
Did not find this one a week ago. Left my glasses here and a kind person found them and rang me. It was on the ride back from San Remo today that I stopped by again. Had a flat tyre / but found 4 caches at San Remo. My finder met me to hand back my glasses and while I was waiting a more closer look I soon found what I was meant to find. ( May need some more glue) thanks Gonefishen07 for the original idea.
Perfect day for a ride to new haven and back and much easier with stops along the way!
While I was doing the right thing and checking in Beckgiz found the cache! Thanks for the find
A small park. Due to late late hour and inbetween drizzles of rain. Able to search uninterrupted from the muggles and a quick find. This one would be hard during the day.
Great find, Gma found this one and to celebrate she got stuck in the ladybug ride. Added a little zip bag to protect the log as it was a little damp. TFTF
Followed the instructions in the hint, with some digging, and I found it. I suspect this is technically breaking the rules, as caches shouldn't be "buried". But I got a smiley, Cheers!
Our last attempt was foiled by a family enjoying this park, today only a couple playing with their dog and they were leaving when we pulled up. Thanks to spot on coordinates and the hint provided, we had no problem finding this cache.
Thanks Gonefishen07.
Thanks Gonefishen07.
Thanks for the hint, really helped make this quicker for me. I don't usually do kids playgrounds being an older person, but Sunday morning was fine. Loved the container, have never seen that done before in my 16 years of caching. Will definitely borrow that idea to take back to Canberra. TFTC and fav point for the container!
Easy find once we found the correct post. Words are fading as they have faded completely off the other labels.
Out with Omegaman1971 to do a few caches in the area and attend our first event in along time.
This was one of the caches we found today. We had a great day checking out the many places the island has to offer.
Thanks Gonefishen07 for the cache.

Clever find. Useful to read the clues and took more digging than we thought with rebonka and raw ruby. Tftc
To a while to find it and it happened that when we dug in that spot before we missed it. The geokids where happy to know that we were the first ones to write on the log scroll. 1 problem was that thw log was damp but thanks for the catch
Caching this weekend looking for the gems in the museum mystery hunt. Quick find but the cache is broken and drenched. TFTC Gonefishen07
Quick easy find
Cache is broken log is not just wet but I think we can call it stew now. Thanks for the cache Gonefishen07. If you want a picture of what it looks like now let me know.
Caching with Zedaycee and Angelique Anja.

The cache was easy enough to find, but the container is broken and the log is practically mush.
Thanks for placing the cache.

Out this morning, grabbing some caches before my family woke up. The last 2 days have been perfect weather but today I got very wet! I had a dnf here a year ago and I thought I'd have another try. After a dig around in the mulch I eventually turned up the container.
Number 12 for the day and 26 overall on our trip to the island.
This one had us looking everywhere and overthinking things. After a while we decided to check the hint and it made things much easier! Thanks

This was an interesting cache find for us - our 12th of the day and 26th for the day. After rolling all around and getting very wet, looking at everything - and I mean EVERYTHING (yeah, that rusty looking thing really is just rust) Cathylm and I went to our phones. I re read the description page and realised there was a hint. Cathylm went for PAF. I had the cache in hand before she had a reply. Note for future self: check for hints before getting so wet!
Thanks for the fun

It's great that the issue/s with this cache has been fixed - a big thank you from the geocaching community; but it is still in the Disabled state and seekers are not aware that the cache is again available.
You need to post an "Enable" log - see here; [**Disable and enable a geocache**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) so that seekers know the cache is again available - **I have done it for you this time.**

We found the cache here, but I think we found the old one, as one end had come apart and it contained a well-used log. We added our name to the reverse side. We didn’t have much time to look around for the new one as we had to get to our motel before reception closed. SL TFTC
Seems I forgot to do this one last week so to save the hassles I’m disabling till I get back over there.
Nice, easy find. End has come off container and the log is very crumpled and ripped. TFTC
Had a look at this one while at the park with my sister and it is completely buggered. Cache is broken, I’d replace it but I don’t have a suitable cache.
Started digging around the mulch but got tired of it pretty quick, maybe some other time...
Today was time to get out the geocycle and travel along one of the many routes in the area so today we found 23 traditionals with 8 DNFs it was not a great day but it was a good day for a ride but those DNFs bring the day as a whole down but thats caching (Cache Blindness) or they just werent there only the cache owner knows which is the case. The other option is the lack of GPS accuracy using Iphone as GPS wasn't preloaded before going for the ride.
Thanks Gonefishen07 for placing this however these playground ones are always not my best and again this one was not forthcomming even after I dug to china at the posted location.
Grand Cache count = 848 total consisting of 763 Traditionals, 24 Multi, 14 Mystery, 4 Earth, 2 Virtual, 6 Event, 2 Werigo and 2 Letterbox.

Took us a while had a look around everywhere then realised the hint. #1 find. TFTC.
Continuing on our adventure after attending the Alexandra Mega Event, we found ourselves spending a few days on Phillip Island. While we tried to take advantage of the many great places to see on the island, we were pre-occupied with trying to complete the qualifying requirements for a particular challenge cache we had signed in Ballarat prior to the Surf Coast Mega Event last year. It really does pay to check the finer details of a challenge cache before you decide to look for it We had thought you needed to have found 100 caches in Victoria, but it was only when we came to log it that we realised the 100 caches in Victoria had to have been placed by the same cache owner
Anyway, initially we thought we would complete the challenge by doing the Mt Disappointment caches, but then friends who knew we were heading to Phillip Island told us we would easily qualify for the challenge there, and they would be much more interesting caches Well they were quite interesting, and some of them were downright sneaky
In the end, we had an enjoyable couple of days exploring Phillip Island and finding a variety of cache hides, with some great walks along some of the beaches and other places
Thank you Gonefishen07 for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

A nice quick find which was fortunate as a family of muggles decented on the park.
Log signed and back safe again.

On a 6 day tour of Victoria with Barnzy12. Taking the red eye over from Perth we managed to visit some great places. The main reason for the travel was the Mega event in Alexandra and the opportunity to find 12 cache types in a day.
We originally travelled to Phillip bay, then up through the country side to Alexandra. Spent a few nights staying high in the snowfields and then moved over to Mt Disappointment. We then ended up back where we started returning the hire car at the airport to fly home.
Some quality caches were found all over the state, great to get a real range of cache sizes with some very large caches compared to what’s available in WA and the range of D/T options so close to each other was a bonus.
Thanks to all the Cache owners for you placements and creativity put into hiding and have awarded a few fav points based on this or the location it bought us too.

In Melbourne with Cravo10 to attend the Mega in Alexandra.
We took the red eye from Perth, leaving at 1am Thursday morning, and departed Melbourne early Tuesday morning, so it was a short five day trip.
We managed to snag a couple of nice stats for the trip. First mega event, 12 cache types in a day, 10 lab caches, 50th large cache find, and most importantly my 10,000th find at Mount Disappointment.
We spent the first day on a caching run from
Melbourne to Phillip Island where we had booked into the local caravan park for the evening. We cached all day chasing down a number of the whereigo and puzzle caches from the CF series, before ending the day caching the extremities of Phillip Island, where we had both never been, an amazing part of this country.
Next morning we cached our way to Alexandra which was the main reason for our trip to Melbourne as we had both never managed to attend a mega, which were hoping to rectify in WA next year! Attended the pre event and managed to get a couple of group FTFs by torchlight which was a real highlight.
Saturday we cached in and around Alexandra all day, chasing numbers, the highlight of the day would have to be the birdbox hides around Alexandra and the multi in Bonnie Doon from that famous TV show, a real nice touch!
Sunday was an epic caching day, chasing down 12 types in a day, which required a couple of huge drives to claim some of the rarer icons around. A huge caching stat which is a very rare feat in the Southern Hemisphere. We finished the day travelling to Mount disappointment where we found Melbourne's 1st cache and then started making a dent in the powertrail, finishing by torchlight.
Our last full days caching was spent at Mount Disappointment to chase some big numbers and with a few caches around the burbs for good measure.
Special thanks to all the wonderful COs around Melbourne for their brilliant caches, and to the mega committee for organising a ripper event, hope to be back next year!
