Found 10:49Three months of travelling in Western Australia with Muggle friends from the East coast; stopover in Singapore on the outward and return flights. Caches and labs where they are on the way and can be done without too much effort. You may forgive me for using the same standard phrase everywhere, but there's not much more to it than that. Many thanks to all the owners for making our hobby possible. If there is anything wrong with the cache, more detailed information follows.
Relatively quick find after looking at the spoiler photo. It would have been a lengthy search without this help!TFTH
A caching trip from Canberra, ACT to Cape York, Qld and then around the gulf to East Arnhem Land, NT the over the top of WA.Interesting detours to Thursday Island, Mabuiag Island, Mornington Island, Doomadgee, Hells Gate, Nhulunbuy, Wadeye, Litchfield Nat Park and Wyndham.TFTC.Nice hiding spot. Glad there was a pic.
An interesting bit of history with a nice backdrop. A quick find with the photo hint. Thanks for highlighting.
The hint and photo made for a quick find in this historic location.SL TNLN TFTC
Found on our day trip from Kununurra to Wyndham. The hint and spoiler photo allowed us to pick the right spot. TFTC
Exploring Wyndham today after completing the Gibb River Road. Quick find here thanks to the photo. Tftc

With some time to spare this afternoon, we decided to drive up towards Wyndham to grab some caches in and along the way… Had a great afternoon exploring this unfamiliar area.
Quick find thanks to the spoiler photo… Could’ve taken a while without!
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Bushies2

We had a spare afternoon after a flight was cancelled, so decided to explore up towards Wyndham for a handful of caches and trigs, managing a dozen or so before heading back in a glorious Kimberley sunset.
Cool spot... we really needed the spoiler pic though...

The end of this but of a drive & a fast find, thankfully. The sun was down & gloom would soon be gathering. TNLN-TFTC! Interesting reading about the history.

Heading north with richlink on our way to Darwin and beyond enjoying the spectacular scenery and finding a cache or two along our route. This took us quite a while to locate even with the help of the spoiler photo. Thanks Bushies2.
Found with the help of the spoiler photo. Cash is still in very good condition considering it hasn’t been found since last September.
GPS a little off but managed to finally find it. Bit overgrown at site but cache was in good condition. TFTC
Found today at 2:20 PM on a warm day. I am impressed with the thickness of the walls. Not a very hospitable place and would have been worse in 1880. Thank you Bushies2 for bringing us here to read and understand the history of the town.
Interesting location.
Just love the fact that it was never finished and dozens of allotments were sold sight unseen.

Catching up on some late logs, now that I have time, while travelling.
We are on the road travelling up through central Australian and down the coast of WA. I was happy to grab a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Wow, who wouldn't want a few like this. Took a bit as the GPS was jumping about but we got there in the end.
Thanks Bushies2 for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Find 8 of 15 on another full day of 4WDing, hiking and caching - on a day trip to Wyndham and back.
Quick find here and just enough time out of the A/C for a read of the info board.
TFTC Bushies2!

I totally understand your reluctance to search here in thongs theoutbackhomeschool. Luckily we were wearing hiking shoes, and lucky for the next people we have now flattened almost all of the tall dry spear grass during the half hour we spent searching haha. The photo was a big help once we’d pulled the grass away. Someone has also placed a rock on front of the loose rock, perhaps to hold the loose rock in place. Another marvellous historical place to see in Wyndham. TFTC
Great spot but I can see why they moved the town location. Impressive but more so if it was completed.

Very quiet and warm today. It would have been a big house if fully completed. Got to give Wyndham full points for good interpretive signage everywhere. TFTC.
After a good walk this morning through Mirima National Park we headed off to Wyndham to complete the caches there and have a look around town. Sadly the town seems to be dying a slow death with many things shut down and boarded up. We enjoyed seeing the Dreamtime statues at Warriu Park which were very lifelike, the history of the residency and probably the most spectacular the five rivers lookout. A beautiful arvo to be out and about albeit a bit hot.
Amazing history here. Loved it.
Had three weeks holiday so decided on a massive road trip to the most northern part of the state - the Kimberley. An area we have never explored, but had always been on the to do list. We travelled through the towns of Mount Magnet, Newman, Port Hedland, Broome, Halls Creek, Kununurra, back to Broome, Karratha, Exmouth, Denham, Geraldton and back home to Perth. It certainly was a very quick trip for the distance covered, over 8,000 kilometres in total, we saw a lot in such a short space of time, but barely scratched the surface of what’s out in these parts.
We would like to thank the individual COs for hiding the caches throughout these parts, from the towns to the highways and byways. Thank you for choosing to share these locations with us and we appreciate the effort you have gone to. Thanks for the fun.

Found at 1pm after walking the jetty and a first look for your "Flight to Hell" cache. Luckily this one wasn't too hard to find as Mark was starving! A shame their grand plans never came to fruition but how brave they all were to come to such a hot, remote place amongst the crocodiles! Guess it's obvious I come from Victoria!! SL TFTC
Traveling australia. Staying at Kununurra. Out exploring the area and thought we would do some caches. Thanks for the cache
After looking for an old home,Mrs one-eyed spotted the cache location, and it was only the ruins of the residency .

On a day visit to Wyndham. This was an easy find. Placed one of 5 family travel bugs to be moved on. Hopefully to be collected soon so we can start following its adventures. TFTC
Managed to squeeze in one last cache while in Wyndham before heading back to Kununurra. Was great to see the place which has a great amount of history about it. Took a little while to find the cache and eventually resorted to the spoiler photo.
Many thanks for the cache Bushies2.
Cheers

After leaving my muggle friends at the Rock, it was time to head north and now west towards El Questro and get a bit of caching down on the way.
After leaving Gregory NP this morning I had a bit of time up my sleeve and so I called into Wyndham to have a look around.
Had a croc pie at the bakery and it was delicious.
The girl at the bakery gave me a map on what to see and do around here.
Funny how things turn out I wonder who made the decision to start building here in the first place.
Must admit I used the hint to find this on, must have been the heat affecting me.
Thanks TFTC.

Like so many other places in Wyndham, this site certainly has a story to tell. There were various muggles around when we arrived, but we managed to locate nd log the cccche whilst they were behind other walls. Thanks for giving us a reason to drive this far up the road - we were not sure where places of interest ended. TFTC
Out with m4yb and the Two+Four team on the Gibb River Road. Staying at Home Valkey at the near end of the trip and Wyndham is today grabbing a few caches. No tube but nice sized cache.
Thanks for the hide & smiley. Bushies2

Day 24 of The Northern Adventure with megawat60 and Two + Four. We are now camped at Home Valley for 4 nights and today we made our first Pentecost River crossing to head to Wyndham for the day. Mrs 2+4’s turn to make the find here! TFTC!
Out and about with Megawat60 and MY4B on our northern adventure to conquer the mighty Gibb River Road and claim caches as we go.
We had to use the hint for this one but still we can report all is well at the residency. TFTC

The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 14. A morning in and around Kununarra was followed by a Ord River crossing as the Ivanhoe crossing and a back roads trip to Wyndham for dusk.
It was getting late and I needed to find somewhere to stay for the night, but Managed to squeeze in three out of four o the Wyndham caches in the old town. Sad to see the pub has folded. There are new signs going up all over town, but it does not seem to have affected any caches yet.
Thanks.

We are heading to Wyndham today and stopped to grab this cache on the way.
Cache took several minutes to find but we got there in the end, about one pace away from our original start point......
The container had no lid and had a colony of ants inside so we replaced it with a small sistema which fits into the hidey hole quite nicely.
Please see attached photo to view the new container next to the old one.
Thank you for placing this cache here in this historic location.

At the end of a hot day trip here, this made for a quick find once checking out the photo hint. Tftc
Last time we were up this way was 10 years ago, not that much has changed except now I cache
There was even smoke around then that made for some sightseeing to be terrible
I was trying to match up spoiler pic with real life without success. Muggle comes up and goes "There it is." Typical
A quick find by him. I'm blaming the heat for my lack of effort

I came out here to make this my most northern find in WA. and it was an interesting place to stop. We were in Wyndham 33 years ago but I don't think we came out here then. I am glad we did this time.

We were staying with friends in Kununarra and decided to take advantage of the fact that the camper was set up on their front lawn and head up to Wyndham for a days caching while they were at work.
This would have been a grand old building in it's day and it's a wonder that somebody didn't get around to occupying it but we can understand the magistrate not wanting to live there so far out of town as he wouldn't be very well liked by any of the local aboriginals because he would have been upholding white man's law which is something that they would have not understood.
We were a little bit worried with this one as they can be a little bit hit and miss for us but with good co-ords we managed to locate it in about the third or fourth place we looked.
Many thanks bushies2 for showing us this location.

We are camped at Parry's Lagoon as we continue our meandering across northern Australia from one side to the other after attending the Red Centre Experience over Easter. Today I drove into town for a day's caching by myself and this was stop #6 and find #4.
After a disappointing DNF I was determined to find this little fellow. I had to resort to close scrutiny of the spoiler however and once found, the log was stamped and then all returned to the hidey hole.
