Really enjoyed the stroll around the coast. Signs for A and E are missing but luckily they are the 2 that you don't really need.
Lovely at GZ, had a lot of wildlife watching us search but alas, no luck for us. We did find something looking promising for eithwr idicating location or retrieval, but no cache to be found.
Thanks for the pleasant afternoon anyways

After sooo many years of visiting the bay, I made sure I picked low tide for this cache. It was nice to retrace a lovely walk that I previously did with a Eurobodalla Conservation guide. On arriving at gz, I quickly spotted the hide - great hint. Thanks for this well planned and entertaining cache.
This cache brought Archie_03 and myself on what I would have to say was one of my most epic geocaching adventures. We started on Thursday afternoon which brought us into darkness as we strolled through beaches and bush land to find the clues. This was one of the coolest caches I found so far. We found ground zero on Friday the 8th of January as time was not in our favour on Thursday. TFTC!
Now this was an epic adventure. Started off on a rainy Thursday afternoon, taking us into darkness as we reached the final clue. We found and signed the cache this morning in daylight with the close eye of lots of ducks! The trail was full interesting information and an awesome walk which took you over a hidden little beach and boardwalk. GZ was well hidden, the hint is very helpful. Thanks for setting this multi up! TFTC!!
Day 2. We had all but one of the clues (see previous post). Decided to take a guess at the missing number. It took us to a most likely spot. The cache remained hidden until we read the hint, stood back to get a better overall view and ... voila! That’s the spot. After some searching for a suitable aid to retrieve the cache we had it in hand. I really enjoyed this one. TYFTC.
We’ve just had a lovely walk around the loop to find the various waypoints. Clue A is missing. There is no sign anywhere near the co- ordinates. I wonder if it was washed away in the recent storms? There’s a lot of obvious damage in the area.
Wow. That was a fun one. Such an interesting walk around Cullendulla Creek through the trees and along the boardwalk. GZ was also amazing. Such friendly (and hungry) locals. TFTC.
We spent an hour walking around this pleasant area collecting the data. Then back to the car to head to a new location. GZ was at another lovely location. We soon found the sneakily hidden cache and surprisingly the only muggles were the ducks, coots and a royal spoonbill. Made it easy to retrieve the cache and SL. Until a coot paddled up to us and gave a loud squawk, probably because we didn't feed it. TFTC. A FP
Heading home from the Red Hot Summer your with the Rats and Princess1488. TFTC
Headed down to Batemans Bay for the weekend so as is always the case its hard to drive past a cache.
This one had been on the to-do list for a while. I wanted to get this one knocked off before heading home today so we made an early start collecting the info at the various spots.
We soon had a likely GZ and one I was familar with having been down this way back mid last year. Eventually the clue made sense and the cache was in hand.... Very clever.
Thanks

Had a huge day with 154Crows grabbing a handful of caches! After spending the better part of the morning the ACT, we travelled down the Kings Highway to find caches in Batemans Bay. Daylight savings working in our favour as we managed to find plenty of caches in the area before calling it quits and heading home along the coastline.
We made quick work of this Multi. GZ was a nice location and the cache was located in a clever spot! TFTC!

Didn’t like this cache as it took a lot of time and there was lot of walking, perfect for the active adventurer though!
There is a lesson in this cache for me - always check the waypoints on a multi before you start, there could be one near you, at the least there was one on the way from where I was coming from.
Wtih the tide coming in there were a few moments where I thought I might be stuck here if I took too long, though it took a lot less time for me to do the mangrove walk than signed (longer strides?). The last step was unexpected (see my first point, not that it mattered too much).
Using the official Geocaching app at the time, the waypoints aren't visibly marked with the corresponding letter, so its multiple step back and forward between parts of the app to match the answer to its letter. Other than that, a good walk (and drive).

we wanted to try a diferent icon. it was really hard to figure it out but then it made cents so we went along the track and found it thanks
Nice multi that took us for a great wander. GZ was a nice spot to sit and reflect. Cache was well hidden and came off in my hands luckily. Putting it back was just as tricky, didn't want it falling in the water and loosing it. Tftc bbayjohn!!!
Found 15:09 8/7/17. A very enjoyable way to collect the coordinates. The crabs are cool. Thank you bbayjohn for the cache.
Before I started the multi, I took note of all the waypoints and coming from Batemans Bay got the last WP first. Then it was a nice walk to and in the reserve. I spent a lot of time on the boardwalk, just watching what was going on in the water. Saw lots of crabs and fish and even some rays of various sizes. First I seem to have something wrong as the coordinates for the final were in the water. Found my mistake and made it to the final just before darkness set in. Name and hint make perfect sense!
Thanks a lot bbayjohn for showing me all these nice places - Fav awarded

Well that was a bit sneaky! Thanks for the early morning exercise & showing us the mangrove walk that we never knew existed. I am a fan of multis & mysteries & this one was worth the effort. I give it a favourite. Kutgw
I took this one on at about 9.30 at night on a solo mission,it was a much interesting walk at night,I realised I had taken a wrong turn so completed it in reverse, looks to be a great spot but couldnt see too much, once at GZ 3 dodgy looking characters passed by,I quickly signed the log and got out.

Solved and found with Coybear2000, it was nice to see this cache that hadn't been found for 6 months. We were visiting friends and they had suggested visiting this area. C noticed this multi and so we did it on our walk. Once we had the first lot of answers we told our friends we'd need to head back into town for the final parts and they were happy to go along with us. We got the final clue and worked out GZ and were soon there. After a short search C spotted what was needed and we soon had CIH. TFTC

Very disappointing to get to final waypoint only to not be able to find final answer due
to closure of area. Lucky the first part walk was beautiful and enjoyable

Out and about this arvo finding a few more of the local caches.
The first walk was great. Quite a few people out doing the walk as a matter of fact.
Unfortunately, the final way point ( and i assume the way to the cache) is closed off at the moment.
NO ADMITTANCE signs everywhere.
So i doubt I will find this one in the next week.

We headed out again to explore Batemans Bay through geocaching and ended up in an area that is certainly well maintained by the Parks and Wildlife Service. Deserves a favourite for the lovely location of the multi and the interesting GZ we ended up at and the sneaky hide. We enjoyed our walk around all the waypoints collecting the info as we went. The final GZ amazed us with all the bats. TFTM
DNF to the final location - Geokiddie not obliging today! Thank you for the puzzle - our first of its kind. A lovely excursion into the mangrove. Lots of crabs on the march at low tide. CITO as we went.
Such a cool name for a cache !
Multis can be fun as this one proved.
Thanks for the cache, bbayjohn !

We don't do many multi's while on holidays especially with the van behind but it has been sitting in the caravan park for a few days so this guy was on the list but you need time to visit so many locations.
Finally we arrived near GZ and were amazed by the numbers of various bird life and then the thousands of bats just hanging around.
We tried to imagine the noise and movement that must occur at night fall when they all take of for their daily hunt for food.
This is another sneaky hide but thankfully one that I have seen on a number of occasions.
Thanks bbayjohn for showing us various parts of your great location.

Wow, another wonderful cache by bbayjohn. Drove out and completed the mangrove walk. Fortunately it was low tide, so the crabs were out to play. I then made the drive to get the answer to the final clue. I was greeted by colony of fruit bats. Another interesting and fun cache and another favourite. Thanks bbayjohn.
Thank you so much for leading us to these wonderful parks. Great experience. Very well hidden box. It took a while until we saw the way to the little container. Karen and Thomas
Suscoe's 10th find of the day on our final caching run in the Bateman's Bay area.
A cloudy sky and a cooler day accompanied us.
Well we did the numbers and smiled.
What a tricky mind we are dealing with here.
So the GZ was established but some local teenagers needed to move on which they eventaully did and the find was made.
Log signed and all was good.
Well done to bbayjohn for a well done multi.

Came back to look for this cache after finding GZ a few years. Sadly, it had been muggled back then, but today it was a quick grab at the coordinates that we visited 1.5 years earlier.
Great cache and walk.

We collect all the numbers out of the informations but got to a point out of Batemans Bay to a weird place. Sadly we don't have the time to drive back so we had to give up
On a cloudy day, I decided to do a few caches in Batemans bay. this was the first one of the day and at first I thought I was in for a long journey but a short stroll later I had gathered the required info and was off. It was quite a nice boardwalk, but it makes me wonder how long it will last with some of it already starting to sink into the sand below. Anyway I made it to GZ and after to reading the clue the cache was recovered.

This year we have a long winter holiday when we are travelling in the Pacific. We are doing sightseeing and geocaching. Now we will spend a six week period in Australia where we will drive from Melbourne to Murray Bridge and then via Grampians to Canberra, Sidney and Brisbane.
We are now staying in Batemans Bay For a couple of days.
Yesterday we did the walk to collect the information needed for the final coordinates. It was a great walk in the sunshine (almost to hot). We saw a lot of interesting information. When the final coordinates was ready we went to an amazing place where we found GZ. However we did not find any cache. CO was contacted in the evening and we got some more hint so we went there this morning and no we could not find any cache. Today at the event to celebrate the 10th anversery anniversary for the first earthcache we meet CO. And he told us that he had checked and the cache was gone. He kindly allowed us to log a find as we had been on the correct place.
Thanks for this nice multi. Greetings from Sweden / Geparderna

Last cache before attending the geoevent, loved this multi especially the surprise location at the end, what a lovely spot. With time running out we searched high and low, as we despaired the CO arrived and assured us we had completed the multi and could log it as the cache had sadly been muggled. Big thanks to bbay john for the work involved in the multi and for letting us log it. Tftc
It was starting to warm up when I started out on this one. Quite a few people about doing various things along the way.
Easily found the first 2 pieces of required info but a bad choice had me, unknowingly at the time, had me walking in the wrong direction on the loop track.
When I got to the 3rd waypoint was when I realized I had already walked past all the other spots I need to go to .
So back I went collecting the need things then turn around and walk back again, which was all good as it's a beautiful area.
Back to the carpark and on to the last WP and then the calculated GZ.
Looked about for a good while but spotted nothing. Read back through the past logs and looked again. Still nothing.
Sat for a bit longer as some muggles passed in both directions amazed at the number of Flying Foxes that were roosting in the trees across the water before looking again and still coming up empty and undecided if it was missing or just eluded me and was a DNF.
Quick email and a quick reply from bbayjohn and I was sure it was missing.
Caught up with the CO at the event on Saturday and confirmed that it had indeed gone walkie's.
A nice multi well worth the time to do [^].

This one almost took half of the caching time we had here in Batemans Bay, but it was worth every minute of it! Haven't seen that many board walk in a while and all was realy a joy. Especially at GZ one wouldn't expect this gem!! In the middle of town (almost). The bats were also very impressiv and smelly. For the trained eye this cache is easy, all muggle will not even think about it?

Great cache to take some fantastic spots especially the final. Gathered required information and made the find just on dusk. Thanks for showing me more of this special area. I always love visiting the Bay. SL..TFTC
This has been on the to do list for some time, arrived at Batemans Bay and thinking there is enough day light to collect required information. What a discovery this was, and informative, a very pleasant walk, but not enough time to doodle. by the time I was back at the car it was dark.
Next day I went to GZ, what a little hidden gem, lots of bird life, the amounts of bats around here and the noise they make.
Found location of the cache, and determined it had been muggled I contacted CO he allowed me to log my find, albeit in spirit. Only part of container found at GZ.
This is well worth a visit and a fav point from me.

We really enjoyed gathering all the information needed to complete this multi. I would not have known this place was here except for your multi that took me on this little jaunt. Loved the little purple crabs. I tried to get a picture on my phone, but they were moving quickly so it isn't the best quality. After arriving at the GZ, my tired son sat down for rest as I began the search. Only 20 seconds had passed when he noticed the huge bat colony there and many of them were awake and stretching out their wings and flapping. (Their wing span is WIDE!) It freaked him out 'a bit' and thus our hunt for the cache was cancelled. ugh! I thought they were facinating! We'll have to come back to Batemans Bay before too long and finish this off. Thanks for the adventure!
Found @ 12:05pm with hccatcher11415 on a trip to the Bay for the long weekend
We used our bikes to zip around and collect the bulk of the waypoints. What a lovely area! Thenn it was back in the car to get the final waypoint info and claim the cache. As we approached that last waypoint, we guessed where GZ would be as we walked past it. Sure enough we returned to make the nicely camo'd find minutes later. We did have to wait out a small group of muggle boys but it was a lovely place (except for the shopping trolleys!) to sit and wait for the coast to clear.
Thanks for the tour bbayjohn!!

Bringing the bikes down on this trip to do this cache. A great ride on a beautiful day to get all the co-ords for gz. With many people out and about in the area of the first lot of way points. We then ventured back across the bridge to get the last WP. Figured where gz was but continued along to get the last WP. Returning to GZ but having to be careful as some teenage muggles where close by and obviously up to no good and looking very guilty.
I really enjoyed doing this one. A fav point from me.

This cache took a while, but it was worth it! The mangrove walk was excellent! Also the final location was a great surprise! Thanks bbayjohn, another fav from me!
Have replaced this cache. A word of warning though, may be best done in the day while the bats are sleeping. There is a huge colony of bats there at present. Please insure cache is returned correctly.
Sign referred to in hint has been removed from GZ and cache missing. Hope this is fixed soon as it would be a shame for people to miss out on this wonderful cache.
26th on a 2 day cache safari - day 2. Our favourite multi so far. The locations were wonderful to walk through and the clues were accurate and well written. Were unaware these sanctuaries were even there. We especially enjoyed seeing the bats in the trees around GZ. Only one problem but it is rather important - the sign at GZ has been removed. Looks like vandals have lit a fire and damaged the area. Cheers
A great last find to the year... enjoyed the walk and discovered a new side to BB had never seen before! TFTC

Found at 1600 hours. What a great cache. It took us on a great walk to interesting places and I was amazed at how crystal clear the water was. A very popular place for the very friendly local walkers and cyclists. The last WP was further away than I expected but was well worth the effort as there were plenty of Qwackers around. Enjoyed seeing some of the beautiful places around BB. Thanks bbayjohn for another enjoyable walk. TNLN. I did not sign the log as there were some young locals around and I did not want to risk spoiling this great cache.
Found after a nice afternoon walk with the geofamily. Really enjoyed discovering a couple of batemans bays secret spots. Many thanks for the cache, it was a beauty.
Did notice this one on a previous trip down to Batemans Bay, and finally had enough time and a inspiring weather to do it. Great walk, second part was bit of a (pleasant) surprise. Took me quite a while to realise I have not entered wrong coordinates, and that "back to car" does not mean walk back, but jump in and drive across the town. Thanks a lot for great exploration trip around the town.
LOVED this cache! Loved the walk around- we saw black swans, lots of fish and masses of crabs migrating across the sand. TFTC
The great advantage of Geocaching is that you find areas that do not seem to be publicised this was a great multi cache, and the final location was a surprise. TFTC Sapphcoast.
Had no idea that this multi would take as long as it did, but it was well worth it! This was a pleasant surprise and turned out to be one of our favorite caches for the weekend. The walk was well sign posted and the extra co-ords well placed. We had some pleasant exercise, gained some education and were surprised by GZ. We had no idea this area existed and we picked up an extra cache enroute. Once again, that is what we enjoy so much about caching. Thank you for such a well planned multi bbayjohn.
What a walk!!!!!! lots to see. great ending. Thank you for a great cache well worth the walk. TFTC
Wow what a hunt. Found the red eye ducks - they look evil. Seen baby ducks and decided we like this rather large puddle so left a path tag for whoever wants to come and get it. TFTC
Again inexperience showed and this took 3 visits. Day 1 did not read instructions or trust GPS!!!! What was I thinking!!! Day 2 ran out of daylight. Day 3 what a great day after confirming 'B', I was on track, good find good hide and a great day to sit in the sun and "srrq gur qhpxf, fjnaf onol fvtargf" how cute.

On a drizzly Saturday morning, we headed out from Depot Beach with visiting SisK to find the clicks and the quacks. A lovely walk along the Clyde River. The sign for waypoint 3E is missing. We looked around in the bush to see if it just fallen or blown over but couldn't locate it. However we were able to work out what it must have said. A very educational walk and we liked learning about the purple shore crab. Off to the next location which was a nice surprise. We also got two witness a daring punch-up between two of the local feathered residents and some beautiful black swans with 5 goslings. SL TFTC Cheers........Gaztek

Now this is a great cache. We strongly recommend it. A very nice walk and it takes you somewhere (twice) you may not go otherwise. We had plenty of time to do it and take in all the interest spots. The light rain was a bonus! Again great cache!
We really enjoyed this cache. It was a beautiful walk just before the rains came. We watched the weather roll in and almost make it back to the car before the rain started. Thanks for a very enjoyable cache.
After a nice stroll gathering all the relevant information this morning it was back to this one to complete the signing duies as earlier there had been a muggle sitting at GZ and he was quite content to remain sitting there. As others have mentioned, a nice area that looks a little worse for wear.
