Southern Autumn adventure Day 10. Post Mega South East SA trip Day 4. Millicent was our base to visit the geo-art in the area. We started the day in the off and on rain by doing the GV2020 art we started yesterday. Next was tackled the crayfish and finally the SFE caches. In between there were some other caches and we targeted some of the high D/T caches in the area. Today he team was Fitzy_1965, Albida33, MinnieK, Sole de Lune & Smitten Granny and logs were signed as FAMSS or similar.
We found a likely spot, but it was bereft of a cache we could find today.
Thanks.

After the Rutherglen mega, fitzy_1965, albida33, minniek, Smittengranny and myself headed to the Mount Gambier / Millicent region to tackle some of the caches from the Millicent mega that we couldn't get to.
Now onto day 2 of our run around the area and we started the day where we left off last night. After that it was the SFE series and then a few random caches on the way back into town.
No joy unfortunately, so it's a DNF for us....

Over in SA again with a cut down group of geocaches compared to last time. We felt it was time this group of Victorians found some Millicent caches, as we were banned from the mega! We are signing the logs as Vic1. Thanks for the sometimes challenging caches swoggers!
We found this cache today on our Millicent Meander - Day 1 in company of Maccamob, BecknMonts, McLookers, Alansee, and Muzza. A few on the western environs of Millicent. Thanks from D & HA B-A
Found with a team consisting of BecknMonts, McLookers, Maccamob, Rabbitto, and Muzza. The day turned out to be better than expected and the caching was good too. Many thanks to the CO's for the placements.

Sharing the caching fun with ilook4geo to pick up some of the caches in and around Millicent while attending the mega event. Had a lot of fun and this one was a nice easy cache to find. Log was signed with two more names and we were one the move again. Thank you to swoggers for putting this cache into play.
Found this cache along with goingplaces2 at a quieter time. Log was signed and replaced. TFTC.
This was one of a group of caches from the second part of the Big Saturday of the Millicent Mega. Showered and somewhat rejuvenated and now out on my own, I chased down some caches within the township of Millicent, mostly on foot. What a great little town.
A quick find here, thanks swoggers.

Meandering up the Western Australia coast, the Northern Territory, and South Australia, we have finally arrived down south of SA.
Down the Highway and byways, tracks and trails, the geological, historical, the fun geocaches, traveling this great country through the eyes of a geocacher has lead us to some fantastic outlooks.
Thanks to all the COs for placing these Geocaches, it makes the Adventure more interesting.
We found your cache container, a nice quick find, and with signing duties done and dusted we replaced it as found.

Down in Millicent for the "Used 2B a Geoventure" celebration weekend.
Highlight of course was the mini mega gathering hosted by the longest serving mega committee (thanks for all your hard work guys and gals)
( Hopefully we'll be back for the big one when it's able to go ahead )
Teamed up with Sebastbat, and JEM.
No horses tonight by torchlight, but a nice big cache.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache on this corner of our caching map swoggers

Stay safe out there, caches and their hidey holes can be dirty!
wash your hands, wipe down your cache gear,
sanitise, exercise, even wear a mask if hayfever season gets to you and
cache the countryside safely distanced at least a roo or an adult brown snake's length apart ! ! !
Have fun ! ! !

The great Southeast Saunter with Anymules down to the Millicent area to find caches associated with the postponed GV2020 mega. But with leave organized and accommodation booked the caching trip was not postponed! [^]
Day 3: Today we set off to get out names in all the SFE challenges (qualified or not) and then head to Carpenter Rocks. From there it was up through the Canunda National Park again to finish caches in the southern section. This coincided nicely with finishing near the night cache just after sunset.
But first we had to get to the SFE trail and so we stopped at this cache on the way. [^] A quick find right where we thought it would be.
***Thanks swoggers for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

found with mogni leaving Mount Gambier and on the way back to Adelaide. Today's aim was to get the night cache ( in daylight if possible ( and it was ) ), as many of the higher terrain caches around Millicent plus any higher D caches if we had the time, a few more off highway stray caches and any we just happened to pass.
Log book seen better days here
Today being in the south east for the weekend I focused on just finding the caches along the way and cleaning up the area. Started with the Honan mint tin trail followed by an event in mount gambier then caching in Tantanoola and Millicent. All up 69 finds and 5 labs for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Today I was on my way down to the south-east for some more cave diving around the Mount Gambier / Millicent area. I had an early morning start and planned to complete the 5 km parkrun at Meningie. A nice event along the lake, but my plans for a bakery breakfast were thwarted when the town was busy with long weekend travellers. I continued my drive south, and ended up having a cave dive, before heading to Millicent for a few geocaches and the dinner event.
I was heading towards Millicent, and decided to make a stop at this geocache location. It was good to see the race course as I hadn't come past this way before. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Swoggers for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Since I cant make the Mega, I am in Millicent for a couple of days to try and clear the map TFTC

Well that cache was sitting pretty totally exposed! Covered it up a bit to make sure that no passers by would casually notice it.
Was this a horse racing course?

Hi there swoggers.
We ventured from Mount Gambier to Millicent for a day out. We enjoyed our outing and found 24 caches (& DNF'd 2) in our cache run today. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander our way around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Jam and vegemite samples. [xx(][xx(]
**Left:** Smiley Badge
Regards
Ian & Penny.
