Five day holiday yeahhh. Wow what a solid wall of flax. The little woman pointed out the old hide and said it used to be here. Eekke dug under the dead flax and hit plastic yippee. I scored an archived cache. Everything is dry and signed the logbook. Last lady to sign was still there and popped the old box in the bucket with the new cache. Thanks for leaving this here but disappointed the locals couldn't help you find the cache quicker than the reviewer could sticking his nose in it. Area tidier than the last time we were here. TFTC
Dug around for at least 45 minutes, no luck whatsoever. It appears that this is a really really well hidden cache, so it probably IS there.. but eventually I had to give up. Never knew there was a sign this side of town! Would love to come back once I have some confirmation it's there!
Funny!! Sadly despite looking for ages we just couldn't find the right flax. Aren't they awful? I can't decide which is worse - flax or ivy - the geocacher's nemesis.
We found it after a few moments searching at the base of the flax; coordinates were pretty well spot on. Be careful where you kneel, there is broken glass in the grass next to the sign - too hard to pick it all out but it could still cut you. TFTC
Greetings from the Czech Republic and Thanks For This Cache.

Finally avenged my DNF back in 2019. Have watched on jealousy as others had found this one since then. Decided today was the day that I would get a smiley here and the hunt began. Last time I had searched far and wide but this time I narrowed down my search. Previously my coords took me to one flax but today they took me to another. Turns out my coords today were right. After 2 circumnavigations of this right flax as well as some searching of the wrong one I finally bumped the container with my hand. What a relief that was as I was starting to consider logging another DNF and putting this one on an ignore list. Glad to write my name in the nice and dry logbook and put back never to be needed to be searched for again…by me at least! Currently sitting and enjoying the waves roll in as I write this log…

A good hunt for this one, and we were glad to place our hands on it. Nice hide! TFTC
This is my third visit to this cache, and our last cache today. 27 caches visited and no DNF's yah Very very pleased to now have a yellow smile at the end of this stretch of road. Thanks for placing and maintaining Us04.
spoiler alert found at ground level under the flax on the east side.

On a roadie with Kiscardi getting some caches within a week of publication. This was a bonus turning a blue to gold. Thanks
No false positive finds getting claimed here; the cache is tucked away well in the place. Less likely to attract the attention of treasure hunters and flytippers. The purple clipped cache got the logbook signed and returned to the two glad bags keeping it clean and dry. *Labyrinth* **15pt trad 280pt** TFTC
November is a busy month in most people's lives, second only to December I suspect. Teachers are very busy at this time as we begin assessing and writing school reports.
This probably explains why we have so many dot days in November and December! So the mission this year is to beat the COVID blues and the report writing mania by taking time out to fill dot days in the evenings.
Second time around and still a struggle to find. Found some geocaching debris (a cachet’s calling card and a magnetic alphabet letter “X”) possible from when the first cache container was destroyed. The debris was in nowhere near where we located the actual cache though. X did not mark the spot in this case.
Glad to have turned the blue sad face into a yellow smilie!

Arrived in Dunedin for a few days as one of the kids has their final exhibition for their degree. Flew in and picked up a hire car. Decided to take the scenic route into Dunedin via Taieri Mouth. This was one of 18 caches found this afternoon with a couple of DNF. I’m sure it’s here but no joy for us today.
Round and round we went, looking high and low. Eventually looked in the right place, not where we were expecting it. Nice views here. TFTC.
The distances between caches is getting bigger so we are finally getting somewhere. Almost to Tairei River Mouth now and the day is getting on. Took a couple of looks to find this one. tftc
We had a quick look behind the sign without success, and as neither of us was keen on searching the flax, we soon gave up.
We have to agree with the last logger as we found what is left of this cache today and it does need replacing as it is a great spot for a cache. TFTC [^]
The title was a definate giveaway, no other hints necessary. Found quickly then off again along the coast up to Dunedin tftc
Luckily there was no one around today, found rather quickly and were off again without being noticed. TFTC
As the driver, I didn't know what this was called, otherwise I would have taken my own pic instead of a graffiti covered streetview pic.
I dislike flax hides, luckily this one was not too horrible. Cheers.
Time to have a holiday road trip to Invercargill, to collect a few TMGT and other caches.
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

Homeward bound from a day trip I to the area .a stop here to stretch the legs and have a nice walk on the beach.
We are so lucky to have so many nice and accessible beaches in our country.
After a bit of a surch we found and spoted a likely hiding spot and nabbed the box.
With long signed returned goods to it home and back to our homeward journey.
I am sure there is more spots that will require us to stop and stretch the legs.
With a lot of unfinished business in the area we will be back .
Always great to visit the east coast.
Thanks for the hide

Was looking where older logs suggested but was interrupted by a few tourists pulling up nearby.
A lot harder than I was expecting, took quite a while to hunt down. Well camouflaged
Saw all the DNFs but decided to give this a go as we were passing, Viv neglected to check the T rating and managed to make it a 3! She came out the 1.5 way though! Nice to find this cache which, according to the log book, hasn't been found since August 2017! All good here and a nice dry logbook.

The flax’s are doing really well - I need to be 6 inches taller to be able to have a decent look - tried climbing onto the sign but that didn’t help

The Cache name didn't make sence, untill we arrived at GZ,and the penny dropped.Duh..but sadly we too have to make it a DNF as we couldn't spot it either...
We were about to give up when we decided to have a quick check of the logs and it was found a few minutes later!! Found with Kerynz. TFTC!!
Took some time hunting for this. We felt we were in the right spot. Were very close to jumping back in the car. We turned around and within a few seconds had it in hand. Found with Frame Family. Tftc. All in good order.
I was lulled into a false sense of making a quick find here but I guess the cache just didn't want to be found today. Maybe next time?
Yay finally found this one after I don't know how many attempts. Needed a bit of a hint from Eve07 as she gazed out to the island we were planning on going to for Earthcache day.
Container and log in good condition.
Out with Natalie247 and Eve07 on International EarthCache Day and we stopped to look for this one on our way to Taieri Mouth. After a previous DNF glad to finally get a smiley here. TFTC
Came out to finish this stretch of Taieri Mouth, The walk up the river will be my next conquest this way. Found this one in the first 30 seconds. All nice and dry. TFTC
We were on a bit of a mission today so didn't spend more than a few minutes searching for any one cache - probably still there but we missed it.
Nice start to the day - introducing a new geocacher to the world! We went and found some last night, which meant the program was loaded and the search was on!
Oh no, flax! A great spot to stop & take in the view, couldn't find the cache though.
A had a go at this one several months ago before I had a GPSr but had no luck. This time with a device and a bit more experience I quickly found it.
Two of us had a good look around for this cache. Climbed up high and looked down low. Still no luck.
One to come back to at a later date

Looked at logs to see it may not be there. Had a look around and found it. All safe and secure. Tftc
Obvious object but not a sign of the cache - had been used for other purposes in the past - maybe it did a walk. Not found with Bokhara8
Found it. Has been difficult to write to correct month and year today. This one is correct
... the Catlins was our aim today. Of course we searched some caches too.
