Found it June 12th, 2024Log book has seen some wear, but still plenty of pages left in good condition. It's not on the top of the ridge. It's about 2/3 of the way up.Picked up some rubbish in the area
Full of little treats hidden well not easy to find in the dark. Awesome stuff
It’s a good feeling knowing you can tick off these caches an end even better feeling having the family with you whilst being on site.
The access road is a construction site so a bush bashing trip through the spinifex from the bush chapel was in order to claim a smiley……. all whilst wearing the typical Australian safety boots

I had actually been on a visit to Thunderbox when I was working for an airline doing FIFO flights but I only really got to see the airstrip on that occasion.
Roll on 19 years and what a fantastic experience. Thanks so much to parkacruz for arranging a site visit for us on 'family day'. We were not expecting a cache as well!!!!

Found this cache while waiting to fly out after a shutdown. Cache is still hidden well though it might need a new logbook. Next time i am up there i can bring one. But no idea when that will be.
The day before leaving Cloudbreak, I loaded the geo-app, raced out with the flys, and signed the log. TFTC
Came looking for this cache and realised that I didn't have a writing stick on me. Cache is still in decent but will come back to sign the log another day
First find. Did it at night which made it a little bit more difficult in 42' heat with Sjaaneburger

First find! Hunting in the stormy dark, lightning show abound, no muggles with their bark, only fun was to be found
With Fire&Dandy. 20:40 and still 35'C

Great spot among the rocks. It's insane how many people have it over the years in such a remote location
GPS went a bit wild out here but got there in the end as for the bloody flies !!!!!!

Working at Cloudbreak for a couple of days and pleased to be able to fit in a little bit of play as well. Found the cache quickly once my GPSr settled. My pen ran out after first two letters of my name in log book, but claiming the find anyway as I did write something. Enjoyed the walk here just on sunset. Thanks for the hide Beauges.

I had no issues with the spinnifex, as my snowmobile simply plowed through it all.

I had some great advice on this one from my supervisor, the cunning stunts ..... "don't try to get it from the airport road like me, get it from the lookout track ... or you'll be spinifex bashing". Okie Dokie then, so dressed in my civvies, joggers and with an hour to spare, i walked up to the lookout . Not a bad view ... and not a track to be seen either . My GPS'r was pointing across a field of spinifex, telling me 330 meters to go . So what else to do, but head off and bee-line it towards GZ, trying not to get 'speared' too much in the ankles
Eventually, i made it to a well maintained 'road' which led me to within about 10m of the cache (why'O'why didn't i read the description [?]), where the treasure was found quite easily . I had a giggle at the eyeliner entry in the logbook by the cunning stunts, before adding my own name on the next page
Thanks for placing this cache here Beauges, it was a nice surprise before heading back home for my week of R&R ... even if i did do it the hard way . The cache is in good condition and dry.

Had a few beers and decided to go find this one at night! Got stuck by a shit load of spinifex and found the cash using my iPhone. Left an eye liner pencil it's all I had to log with, found it in my donga! No I'm not a cross dresser a girl must of had the room before me. Cheers
Found it.
Nice and short walk under the full moon. TFTH.
Took: Jaguar XK
Left: Aus Boomerang key ring + Aus 50c coin.

A flock of budgies, 2 weiro's, some spinifex pigeons and a nice short walk. Took the trackable and replaced with a Jaguar XK. I think the trackable needs a cool change.
Armed with geocaching iphone app, a pair of thongs, a pair of shorts (I know not the correct PPE), a bit of rain from mother nature and no help of light from the moon. It was a reasonably easy find. Filled out the log book and as promised in there I will bring some TB's back. TFTC
Now its back to the donga to apply some ointment to the scratches on my legs...

found by mr allys angels at 17:15 recommend not wearing shorts as the spinafex will get you
a nice 600 meter walk from camp to a cache still in one piece, hope it survives the rain when and if it comes

1st Find, yeh boyee. Now maybe i'll learn to use this GPS a bit better and wont get caught up in so much spinafex. Good one Beauges thanx for the introduction. cloudbreak or bust.
Yaay, another FTF for lilla07! I found it around 1850hrs with only the light off the GPS to find my way. As the only part of C/Break Camp I'm aware of is the flight office and the wet mess I just followed the arrow and hoped for the best. I finally found K Block and then the track. The track wasn't too bad to negotiate in darkness but when I turned off to walk up the slight incline I now remember why I'm not a fan of spinifex. After a short search the cache was in hand thanks to the pretty much spot on co-ords. Thanks for bringing me here and I must say the cache container was quite a good idea
