Tonight's after work caching run started with the sun still up in the Bentleigh area and finished after dark down in Mentone. Only 6 finds, plus some Adventure Labs, but no DNFs, which was great. This was a nicely hidden geocache that I wasn't expecting. Had to take the sun glasses off, as it was getting very dark under the area. Thanks for the cache, Back PAQer.Hunter
This cache looked intriguing by the number of FP's. I ended up parking out in the court until wandering in and seeing a generous car park obscured away. I proceeded to the coordinates and waited out a muggle along the path. I actually first spotted what I thought is a reflector, the kind you see in night cache placements and I wonder if this placement was once a night cache or there was a night placement here in the past. I wasn't sure what I was looking for, the description said nano and I thought oh no! Then I spotted the cache and I thought that's not a nano, but perhaps the inner cache is. I signed the log at the table and returned the log into the cache. A nice hide indeed. Unfortunately I didn't stick around to enjoy the park. Thanks to BackPAQer for placing and maintaining this.
Catching up on some logs from the past blur of a couple weeks. With work going crazy and life doing its things. Thanks for the cache and the little adventure.
Out with Weidobiker who found thus one almost instantly, I would have been there much longer. Indeed a nicely hidden park. Thanks for bringing us here.
A short detour found me at this cache. It was a relatively quick find but I had to wait out some kids playing in the park before I could retrieve.. thanks BackPAQer for placing the cache here
Thanks BackPAQer for bringing us to this little haven. Would liked to have known Lyle!

Thanks BackPAQer for replacing this cache. Last time I had to log a DNF as it had gone missing. Today back in the area I had another go. Happily it was found without hassle. Log signed and all back safe again.

Checked in and it's gone along with the reflectors... Someone obviously went to the trouble of removing everything which is pretty sad. It will be reborn shortly.
Sadly a DNF here today after a good 25 mins search and no muggles. Will put a watch on this one.
I was over this side of Melbourne today but instead of driving home in the peak period traffic, I decided to stay longer and chase up some night caches. No success with this one... not sure if I had the right idea but I was expecting to find some reflectors shining in my torchlight at GZ... and there were none that I could see...
Found it after a short while. Had to go through and come back before spotting it. Great hide!

On a sunny day out this was an interesting find. Not sure what the clue means. Geo senses kicked in and I made the find. Thanks for the cache.
This is a fantastic hide. I looked around for quite a while, competing with some kids doing an Easter egg hunt. They left and things got serious. I kept coming back to the same spot even though the GPS begged to differ somewhat. Eventually the penny dropped and the cache was spotted. Very deceptive.
Out with xambo4u, we laughed our way through a slow day, with a few hitches along the way. What a wonderful cache placement. It took a bit of searching before we found it. Hope this one lasts.
Thanks backPAQker.
Thanks backPAQker.
Out and about with echidna44 for another enjoyable day. Things did not start well and continued that way. After a couple of disappointments this was a delight. Really nice little park. Easy to park and only a couple of passing muggles. Hint not help but back quickly discovered it. This is an excellent hide in a respective park. Lost container on replacement and set of the laughter, we needed that. Soon found and replaced safely. Thanks for bringing us here and the excellent cache. Its a fav for me. Thanks for the cache BackPAQer
TFTC, very well hidden cache. Had a bit of trouble getting the logbook back in.
At this present time, we are being asked to stay at home and only leave for some very basic necessities. If this geocache is local to you and you are out getting some mental health, exercise and fresh air, then good luck and enjoy. But please consider others, exercise good hygiene and if you don't feel 100% - rest up and stay home and we'll see you on the other side.
Well Mr Anderson, what a man. So indeed here's to Lyle, and here's to BackPAQer for placing a cute little cache here. Also, thank you for not making it a field puzzle full of dummy caches. Maybe next time.

Came to GZ and the cache stuck out, quick find with a little trouble getting the log out. Tfrc6
I bribed LetThemEatCache with geocaching for a beer. I'm the geo-driver and cache-whisperer, but she made the find here. Nice work BackPAQer.
{279} I was home doing paperwork when geohubby came home early & said “I’ll take you for 3 geocaches if you take me for a beer afterwards”. Deal!! This was the first one we targeted as I had been here before but got muggled out. This time though I had my caching goggles on & found it straight away. A unique container with a fair amount of effort put in, really enjoyed finding this one. Thanks BackPAQer!
This was an interesting hide... after shopping at Southland (well looking), I left to find surprisingly the area flooded! Approaching from Thistle Grove was this not very pleasant in the little alley that was flooded... getting the cache was one thing using nearby resources but replacing was another.. I ended up approaching a dog walking muggle to help! I think the terrain rating should be a little higher! Thanks for showing this little green patch.
I came here not long ago in the middle of the night but after a short walk around I got too scared being here on my own. The darkness and night noises terrified me. This park is tucked well away along the railway line.
Coming back in the daytime today was a more pleasant experience. The park is actually really lovely but I can’t say the location is too.
After a short walk around I made the find of a nicely blended cache.
Thank you for the cache here BackPAQer

Haha excellent - was looking in the wrong place for a bit but once we figured out where it must be it didn’t take long! Cheers
Cache 5391 on 25 Jul 2019.
Flew down from Canberra for a workshop today at Aspendale and after being inside all day took the opportunity to grab a few caches in new counties on the way back into the city. Managed to find three caches and three new counties - a good afternoon! The new premium maps made it a cinch to find the right caches in the right counties.
This cache: park easily found after disembarking the train. The cache took a few more minutes but I eventually figured out where it must be and then spotted it. Nicely blended. FP for showing me this cute and underused park!
Thanks BackPAQer for the cache and the fun!

Sorry can't locate have found a small roll of names from 2016 says cache placed by backpaqer will come back with something to put roll in place at site
Google took me to the wrong side of the tracks but I had enough spare time to correct this and a quiet GZ meant an easy search. Nice cache. Thanks to BackPAQer for the placement and fun.
Nice little micro cache.
Impressed....! Had to use my best small writing to fit my details on the log.
Great little park and location. GeoSon is the best buddy for these locations.
Visited a TB and departed after playground play.

Here’s my story.. I grabbed a stick and flicked what I thought was the cache. It started to fall so I jumped out of the way. Yay I had found the cache!! It would have been a happy ending had I seen where it fell. I searched the ground and surroundings for over an hour. Nothing. Even roped in the geokids and Meme28. Defeated and fearing I would soon be having an awkward conversation with its CO I decided to head for home to pick up gold prospecting tools, aka dust pan and broom. Returned, determined to locate what I had misplaced. Time passed and still nothing. Meme28 was over near the playground and managed to stumble across it in her travels. Turns out the cache dropped onto my backpack and I relocated GZ 15 metres away. Duh! Logged and put back in original position for others to find. A huge thanks to Meme28!!!! and thanks to its CO for a creative cache that likes to travel.
Well there is a funny story to this find. Let’s just say that my sister had the height over me for this one. BurntKrust can tell the rest of the story...
My first find on international geocaching day. Great camo and some thought was required for this one. Great little park that I have been past lots of times on the train but never been to. TFTC
Thanks for bringing me to this great little local park that I had no idea was here!
Eventually found this one after a good search. Much easier to retrieve than to replace if you are my size! TFTC
This cache has eluded me for sometime now, so it was nice to finally come back today and collect a smiley. Lucky for me I had the advantage of being a little on the tall side. TFTC
Great little hide. Found by Craig with Ethan (geocaching for the first time) and Jonty. Found at 10.15pm. TFTC.
spending the day out with ozhockeychick and papi4506, perfect weather to go find a few caches and to get me closer to 3500 finds. TFTC
Very surprised to find the cache where we did as there is no way someone in a wheelchair could access it. Once we ignored the D/T, it was quickly located. Thanks for the cache and bringing us to this lovely park.
2:40 pm #4139
Definitely too high for a T1, but a great little hide nobetheless.
Thankyou BackPAQer for placing this cache here for us to find.

I found two square pins but I’m not sure if they were it ile come back another time and have another look
The twentieth find of the day. Today was going to be arguably our biggest. The main goal was to get Loci612 to 12 types in the day whilst collecting as many different counties as we can. Large caches, letterbox hybrids and Wherigos were also high on the agenda too plus anything else deemed fit for our goals. Our day began at 5:45am and finished at 10pm in Labertouche having fulfilled all our goals bar a DNF in Nillumbik county. Some beautiful countryside travelled and some interesting driving in Melbourne made this day unforgettable, finished off with HSPs for dinner. Thanks to all the COs who hid caches to make today possible.
This one was to collect Bayside county and we were starting to realise that time was escaping us. Hopefully this one would be a quick find. Pulling up at GZ, we focused on the wrong thing to begin with. Loci612 played it smart and we soon had the cache in hand. Tricky! Log signed and cache replaced. TFTC BackPAQer!

**Sunday 19/11/17**
Today was the biggest day during the weekend of the Alexandra Mega Event! Not because of the number of finds, but for the distance we needed to cover and the very specific goals we set out to achieve.
The list of goals we had for today started nice and early at 5:45am when we left the campsite to drive up to the webcam cache on Mt Buller. Our day didn’t end until very late that night all the way down in Labertouche, which is SE of Melbourne along the Princess Freeway. Our goals for this huge day consisted of:
1. Find 12 cache types in one day
2. Find a cache in every county between Alexandra - Labertouche (including through Melbourne for extra’s)
3. Find as many Wherigo’s near Casey Fields to go towards a challenge cache
4. Any other caches along the way which helped towards specific goals (DT points, large caches, distant multi etc.)
It was a massive day of caching, Cankid and I were both tired out of our minds and happy to hit the pillow by the end of it!
---
This is much harder than a 2/1 DT.... plus the coordinates were still out for me.
We spent a while here on the tight schedule we had but needed a find given we were in a new county and needed a find in it for a challenge cache. Eventually I spotted something some distance away that matched up with some comments and hints and finally had CIH.
No way it could be a T1 as it is not wheelchair accessible, and I think a D2 is also slightly underrated given the nature of the hide.

rode past tonight...it's there and clearly visible if you know what you're looking for.
At the park with geo toddler and muggle hubby. This was a great fun find in an awesome park!
In fact muggle hubby who usually can't understand my love of geocaching was actually quiet impressed with this. He found the cache very creative and well done and spent some time appreciating the way it was hidden. Obviously I agree.
Oh...and its also my first FTF!!
So wins all the way.
Thanks very much

Checked in. Bit of a wintery mess. I can't see it so I'll prepare a new version.
#2059 In Melbourne for the week from Canberra, this cache was on my way home to where I'm staying. I parked the car in the carpark and walked over to GZ. Once the GPS settled, I spotted the usual suspect cache. Neat hide. TFBMH BackPAQer.
No luck today, the second DNF in a row this morning. Thankfully that record improved later in the day. Thanks anyway
I found the cache container with rocks but well away from the GZ. I replaced the log and put it closer to the GZ. I notice that it has had a DNF posted after I was there. I hope it will be found. Thanks BackPAQer.
