After spending the morning in kayaking to MacCabe Corner, we headed back toward our caravan park in Paringa in convoy with Wollaston and HansandLinda. Detouring this way to grab just a few other caches wasn't *too* much out of our way Thanks for find #5754TNLN

I love the little back-story and photos in the description for this cache, thanks for sharing that! We stopped by here on our way between virtuals, it was HOT by now and we didn't want to spend anymore time hiking, so we were glad we got that out of the way early! This was a quick find upon arrival at a nice location on the border! Thanks firesafe

I found this cache during my trip to the South Australian MEGA in 2024 sometime between the 23rd of February and the 9th of March 2024. Not sure of the exact day that I found this cache as I found over 1500 caches for the trip and decided to log them all when I got home. This cache was signed DSD or DARKSIDEDAN or AB or Adventure Boys. Thank for the cache and the adventure.

25-Aug-23
We stopped at Mildura for four nights while on our journey to North QLD.

Here's one to find today. Thank you for placing the cache   firesafe.

On our way to the mega and went via SA just so we could finish off the OYB series, We did these with TT and marked our territory with a stamp that said Team Tassie, most of the caches we found in good order and those couple that weren't we fixed up as best we could with what we had to hand.
All found now well till some more come out anyway!

Another year, another Victorian Mega, so where do we fly into, Adelaide like you do, after a few days in the city we ventured out into the wilds of SA before heading Northeast towards the border (You remember the name of the town, don't you?) before crossing over we teamed up with Tassie Trekkers and we all finished off the OYB series.
Our attempts at a few caches as we moved South that were near rivers were as half expected we were thwarted by floods so we didn't get to those but added the odd on in here and there.

At long last we arrived in Whittlesea for the Mega late in the evening of Friday 11th and after a quick event headed to our accommodation for the next few days. While in the area we explored the area finding caches all over the place and we even got to meet up with our Victorian ex Tassie cacher 1Toolman who traveled up from down South to join us for the day

Thanks for the cache.

Still heading south, hoping to walk to the corner but doubtful. A quick find here on a stunning day.
Thanks firesafe

We separated from Tassie Trekkers today with Budgie, SSR and I heading along the Murray toward Mildura and surrounds today. The high river levels prevented us from getting many of our chosen caches but we still found some good ones and enjoyed the day.

It’s become a tradition to fly to a Mega via somewhere else so Stainless steel rat, budgietas and I flew from Hobart to Adelaide a week before the big event and, after a few days around the city, worked our way up along the Murray (where we could due to flooding) via Waikerie, Mildura, Swan Reach and Echuca before heading down through Shepparton to Whittlesea where we caught up, and cached with, a few other teams including Whitewebbs, 1toolman and icybeetas.

17-Nov-22
Found this cache while out caching with Goosenegg and stainless steel rat.
We drove from South Australia, to Victoria and down the Murray river, swapping between NSW and Victoria, collecting LGA's as we drove down to Mildura

Thank you for the cache.

All caches stamped with "Team Tassie"

November 2022 was planned as a trip to the Mega in Melbourne, so we flew from Hobart to Adelaide to find quite a few caches that we had missed last time. Some great caches were found, but the planned boat trip was canceled due to the weather. No matter the showers we found quite a few caches on the trip (Around 600) including a number with high Terrian values.

The drive-through down the Murray river on the NSW / Victoria border showed the impacts of the current floods. A number of caches planned were canceled due to the flooding. Unfortunately, many of these caches will have been lost to the flood. The Mega, as per the whole week, was on and off a wet time, even so a number of caches were still found with Goosenegg, Stainless Steel Rat, Whitewebbs and Tassie Trekkers

The track out here was a lot better than I expected, we could’ve kept heading up expect there was a toilet somewhere south calling our names! Tftc

A great little stop on our drive from Adelaide to Brisbane with Davidwazza! TFTC!

09-Feb-21
Moving from Adelaide to Brisbane, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I decided to drive the long distance to make the opportunity a holiday, taking 12 days and passing through Victoria, New South Wales, and then finally arriving in Queensland. We spent the first few days in SA's Riverland, visiting Morgan, Berri and Renmark; and then drove through Mildura in Victoria. In NSW, we stopped at Hay, Parkes, Merriwa, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, and Coffs Harbour, and then entered Qld to stop for a night in Robina in the Gold Coast.

Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I travelled from Berri across the Victorian border, visiting MacCabe Corner in the morning. We then continued to make our way east, stopping in Mildura for lunch and completed the *Navigating the River as a Paddle Steamer* Adventure Lab. We then entered NSW, travelling along Sturt Highway and detouring through Euston, back into Victoria via Boundary Bend, then back to NSW to Balranald where we had dinner, and stopping in Hay for the night.

We had just finished walking to MacCabe Corner, and detoured slightly to re-enter South Australia and make this find. As it turned out, it was a quick find, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Amigo Firesafe for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Heading along the Border track today we made the find here. The container was brittle and shattered from the elements so we have replaced with a 1 litre sistema. Pictures added.
Thanks firesafe for the cache.

Unfortunately, we aren't carrying any spare containers large enough to replace this as it is broken. Thanks for bringing us here and the cache.

After the lunch time event travelling with The coffee's we joined the convoy to try and find a way to The five corner club virtual but after wasting quite a bit of time on the wrong roads we were all caching our way back towards Mildura feeling quite safe from the authorities as we ourselves are Mexicans.
We did see quite a few illegals on this road including the CO.
Driving through this part of the country is always enjoyable especially once you get off the black top and having another cache to find made it even better.

Thanks Amigo firesafe, it was great to catch up as well.

12-May-19
Had breakfast at an event in NSW and picked up a handful of caches in Vic before grabbing the one on the SA border and another across the road back in Victoria. Razz
After picking up a few more SA road side caches, we made it to a lunch event in SA.[^]
A quick group photo and we were heading up the border track finding this one in SA and others in Vic and SA aiming to see if we can't find MacCabe Corner where all 3 states meet before heading back to the last event....dinner in Victoria. [:o]

This "Mexican" is having a memorable times (plural because of the time zones) hopping the border without even getting a wet back. Wink

TFTC Amigo Firesafe.Big Grin

We didn't make it to the promised land. Access denied by border police ....well....local farmers. Sad

12-May-19
Muggle Hubby, dalerious and I set out on the border run after having lunch at the 2nd of three events for the day in three different states, having had brekky in NSW, lunch in SA and will be heading back to Vic for our evening meal.
Thanks for this cache along the way as we try to find the Virtual cache hopefully at the end of this road.

12-May-19
I found this one for the group when we pulled up to find it. The difference between one side of the border and the other is remarkable. The Victorian side was bare and the South Australian side had Mallee scrub on it. The trees were growing right up to the track in places like here. The base of a mature Mallee tree can hide lots of interesting things.

12-May-19
Found by Mary and David at 15:10:00. The convoy has now halved as some cachers peeled off to seek particular goals. Love this iconic landscape. Our thanks to firesafe.

12-May-19
Out and about whilst in Mildura for the 3x3 event day. We had a great day caching in and around Victoria, SA and NSW before heading to the Dinner event in the evening. Our thanks to Amigo Firesafe for placing the cache it was awesome.

Day 43 of my solo camping trip that had taken me from Adelaide, through Victoria and around Tasmania, then up to Queanbeyan and the ACT for the Clear Waters Mega event, then back to SA via southern NSW. One more day and I should be home.

The weather has held out beautifully and today I made my way from near Mildura up to the northernmost point of Victoria, then down the Border Track.

Its been a great day, visiting some lovely places, with quite a few cache finds and a couple of nice walks.

A quick find as I headed north up the Border Track.

Thanks Amigo Firesafe for the cache.

12-Mar-19
After doing the track in one direction picking up all the VIC caches, I headed back the other way to pick up the SA ones.

Thanks for the cache firesafe.

25-Sep-18
In Renmark for a family holiday for the week and having the opportunity to grab a few finds with Snap Happy and Happy pant. Up early and today we decided to grab some of the caches up near the South Australia and North Victorian borders, which might require a bit of a walk or 4WD to grab. We discovered some good hides and had no DNF's. As always, there was plenty of laughs and fun had, along the way.

Enjoying driving this border track and grabbing a few find. This was a quick find once at GZ, after only a short search.

I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. As of the start of 2018 my average was only 47 words per log, which seems a long way from the 100 target. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 7000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 50 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.

Thanks firesafe for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

Out grabbing a few caches with some family this morning while holidaying in Renmark for the week and we decided to head North and grab a few caches along the border. We were making our way down the track making a few quick park and grabs as we went. This was one of them and it was soon located after a short search, thanks Amigo Firesafe for the hide out this way.

It feels like we have been running the border for a long time heading to our destination cache of MacCabe's Corner. TFTC

01-Sep-18
There was a border - so we ran. Try that between Meccio and the US. Cool

Found during an epic trip to 3 of SA state's corners - Haddon, Cameron and MacCabe. There was dust, eagles, a flat, video and lots of photography, mud and mostly more dust. An event in Innamincka broke up the dust and quenched the thirst.

Thanks to firesafe and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [:o)]

Today was about collecting just what I drove by and trying to clear out some of the areas of the beaten track..
