After obtaining a hint from the CO. Went back for another look, only to believe the cache is missing... Another day for this one I think.
Well,,, looked high low and in between.. got beeped by passers by, but still this one eludes me...... might have to go on the watch list to see if i gather some clues...
Finally found this one, after two previous visits had me looking in completely the wrong spot - but I had a fun day with the kids riding on the little trains etc the second time! Followed the GPS and was more observant and exploratory today and came up with the goods. TFTC.
lovely group from the local event
A quick drive by cache, the ground around GZ is very wet with the recent rains and had to take the time watching my step while i searched. All is good condition.

When I first arrived there were a few cars here, so I wasn't sure I'd be able to have a good look, but they left - leaving the place deserted. I had a pretty thorough search, including climbing the relavant structure, but I'm pretty sure the cache is gone. The structure has a canvas sign tied to it, advertising the museum. Not sure it that's relavant, but maybe the people who put up the sign spotted the cache??
Parked the work van at GZ, utilized the required extraction tool for the verticaly cahllenged, signed log packed up and the 100 or so muggles passing by were non the wiser.

Another one found after a DNF last year. McPhan came up with the find, which makes sense if you know McPhan......
Thanks again Team Casho...

Quiet bold of me to attempt this one not only on open day at the museum but also directly across the road from the SES people manning the gates (though no one I knew). However with a suitable disguise, I was able to retrieve, log and return without raising suspicion. Eighth of ten finds marking my second anniversary as a cacher.
Hard to be discreet on a very busy stretch of road. Luckily the cache was quickly in hand, TFTC.
after a slow search with mud up to my ancles i finally found it

It's obvious now why I couldn't find this one before...I was looking on the wrong side of the road! SL TFTC
Tricky. Perhaps the difficulty might need to be set a little higher as I have found 2's and 3's easier ... maybe that's just me though? Geokid and I took a little while to find it but yep it's there. The road was so busy!!! SL TFTC
Thanks Rock-hopper for the cache check.
All is good and sorry for this being off line for so long.

Checked this one today for owner, and there is still a cache in the same place I found it last year!

a bit of a cache check is required at this one ASAP
there was nothing of interest here when we dropped by today
but after the recent flurry of DNF's here i wasnt expecting much.

no luck, hint was pretty specific so quite sure this has been muggled, suspicions confirmed by a neighbour we hadnt noticed coming over to ask us what we were doing. when we made our excuses, he said hed seen someone looking in the same place a few weeks before and was curious. suspect other cachers had looked and had not reported a DNF. thanks anyway
Well I had a good idea where this one was as I attempted it last week, however after a week of rain I had one boot full of water, then decided to approach it from another angle and brushed up against the electric fence which was alive, so defeated retreated to the geo-mobile. Tonight the ground still soft and muddy without ankle deep water so I was able to retrieve the cache. Will have to come down and visit the rail on an open day thanks.
Got a bit excited by the train nearby and the smell of av gas in the air. Had to wait a while for the traffic to pass, made the grab and back on our way.
3rd for the morning, dodged some spider webs and it was a quick find. log is well and truly overdue for replacement and now resembles tissue paper. TFTC Wassa
Not too many places thios could be, so an easy find, thanks! But the log book is sodden, and the temporary shopping docket won't last much longer either. Sorry I didn't have anything with me to replace it.

Took a bit of searching to locate this one, I was actually looking for a particular container but located a different one, signed on the shopper docket. Cache needs some TLC. TNSLLN

The cache is damp and the log sheet was pretty much pulp. Needs a new one We used the back of a shopping docket as a temporary one.

We found ILRMS (GC1YCZ4) on a Nowra / Southern Highlands caching day with HomeDG, my 30th of 30 finds and my 1378th overall find. Very busy spot TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache, TEAM CASHO. Deputy D0g.
Kiama 10. Quite a busy road, but despite the soggy edge, Mr roo extracted this one safely. Thanks.

Found this one quickly using the clue, the only problem was that I got wet feet grabbing the cache. TFTC
A quick find was expected and a quick find was made. I went to the ILRMS a few years back. Very good. Well worth a visit.

This took about 1 minute to find, 1 - 2 minutes to wait for a break in the traffic and then about 5 minutes to fit the log back inside the cache!
The log is looking quite worse for wear.

Once we read the clue, we knew where it had to be. We had searched fruitlessly for some minutes when some cachers arrived to help out. Together they and Mr Bunny located and retrieved the cache, the log was signed, and the cache replaced. I have no idea what the passing traffic thought of this impromptu meeting, but interest appeared to have sprung up.
Pleasant chat with the cachers (sorry, don't know your name!), and then off home after a loooong weekend on a Nowra invasion. This was our last cache for the trip. We did buy hot chips in Moss Vale, of course......

Was coming down here today and had a good idea where this cache was, but with the amount of Sunday afternoon traffic passing by thought we would continue on and get it on a quieter day.
But as we approached GZ there was a vehicle parked right at GZ and a couple of familiar faces from the Nowra Invasion yesterday. So we swung a quick u-turn and joined Black Bunny in the hunt. Took a couple of minutes but after a clever ear picked up the location, the cache was in hand.
So we both signed the log and continued on our ways, in opposite directions. Thanks for the help Black Bunny!!

Nice fast find on the way to a nearby multi. Hidden in a similar fashion to a certain DogBoy_56 mystery cache. SL TFTC.
No joy for us today - I knew there was a reason why I had deleted this cache from my GPS! Maybe next time.
Had (what I thought was) a good look around, but nothing coming up...........
Thanks anyway

Found on a family caching day by geosister.
So pleased she was there as I would have struggled with the find.
Thanks

Took the AP Scouts geocaching - once they worked out the clue they knew where to look. Unfortunately could not find it in the location. There were a couple of muggles sitting on the fence looking smug. Maybe they knew something we didn't. May pay to check if still there. Did this at night - watch out for the big eight legged creatures seem to like this spot - nealry walked into its web. Will try again.
We found this nice and simple cache on our caching weekend to Shellharbour. It's my 150th cache (and my 20th of 30 found this weekend). Many thanks for the cache!
Surprising how busy this area can get out of hours as well.....retrieved and replaced without any problems though...TFTC
I seem to learn more about various hiding places each time. Thanks for the hide.
Huge puddle underneath...off with shoes and socks then down comes the rain...No obvious place with out getting saturated so will miss this till next time.
Seems we were not too lucky in this area as this is the second DNF for the day. No next time, as we were on our way home to Darwin.
After taking the photo oppurtunity with the kids across the road thought we would grab the cache however after a 20min search in all the reachable places including Mrs S poking fingers shyly into holes we were unable to find it, will have to try again next time w are up this way
Thanks for bringing us here for the kids to see the attraction anyway

Found the cache quickly but it took a bit longer to retrieve from its hiding spot. I actually needed some pliers and a lot of patience with all of the passing muggles. TFTC
Ah Ha. We had it this time. I feel a little silly that we didn't just look a little harder the first time, although the traffic was a little thinner this time.
Cheers.

Really should not have missed this one last time. Sometimes you cannot see the cache for the traffic. I always feel terribly exposed in places like this.

Hoojar and I had a quick look today, we knew that we were in the right place because of the hint but we couldn't come up with the goods. We were honked at twice before we gave up looking suss.
we drove home via this route and saw another cacher that we didn't recognise looking in the same location.
I hope he had better luck than us.

As Chip said we had a quick look before passing motorists scared us off. Next time we will park differently to use the car as a shield. On the way home we noticed someone else looking, did not recognise them or their car though!
We'll be back!
We'll be back!
Did a cache check on the way south today and all is ok it was tucked a little further in then when I placed it but is all good. I pulled it back out a little further then it was.
Happy hunting and safe caching during this time of year when things can get a bit on the mad side. Please remember to Stop Revive (or is that Cache) and Survive.

239. It's going from bad to worse. We even had the guy from siad establishment come and ask if he could help. Nope. We were going to come back and look again but didn't get back this way.

This should have been easy we thought - looked at logs etc to confirm we were in the right place but no luck. The bloke (caretaker?) from the establishment across the road even came over, looking a bit suspicious even though we were trying hard not to look obvious. Not today for us.
Had a lot of trouble finding this one despite the excellent hint. Stood there for all to see & spent a good 20 minutes checking every (or so I thought) conceivable location. Frustrated I headed off to the one down the road & sent a text to Team Casho. A bit sly I guess but after discussing the cache made the find on the way back - Thanks to The Rats - now I fully understand why you took that name.
My last find for the day. We've visited the place across the road many times.
A nice quick find.
Thanks

2nd one of seven Casho caches for the day. A nice easy find with close parking - pity the museum was shut!

I was able to park quite close and quickly grabbed this one, before admiring the little engine on the other side of the fence. Thanks for the cache TEAM CASHO

Coming from a FTF and had time to spare to look for another one. we quickly made the find and I decided to log it in the car(for safety at this busy road as my little daughter was with me) Just logged it and was going over to put it back as another car drove up, again it was team Black&White! Our second meeting this day, only to hear I beat them on a FTF as well, so the odds are even again.

So many new caches popped up tonight. We can’t help but wonder, in a few years down the track will every day be like this one.
On arrival at GZ we spotted are car parked on the opposite side of the road. At that point we knew exactly who it was, he hopped out of the car and said ‘here it is’. Well, that was the easiest find for the night .
Putting the cache back together seems to be a puzzle within itself. After about 10 mins we still couldn’t get the log tight enough to fit back into the cache, so we tore a little bit off the bottom (sorry).
Thanks Team Casho for taking the time to set all those new caches.

it only had a Difficulty of 1 listed for this one and that was for the replacing of the log.
If I could I would have to knock it back a little now. LOL

Was deciding whether to do this or the other cache nearby first but this was second.
Lucky work now provides a phone with internet access as I was literally bringing up new caches and plugging in co-ords as soon as they were published .
Anyway, the obvious spot was sighted and whilst the muggle traffic was zipping past the find was made- another FTF!
