Swung by the area today to check if we could spot the cache, and nothing
Considering the cache is not at the posted co-ords, and has not been relocated by any other cachers, perhaps this one can be put to bed.

If someone could relocate to back to GZ co-ords that would be appreciated.

Well no wonder why I didn't find it - with logs reporting "13m out". Will have to go back another time. TFTH.
Sadly on my no find list-but we will be back it's there somewhere-even came home & checked that I had the co-ords in right ,You are a trickster mortified ....
After meeting up with Team Robins at the previous cache he mentioned he was going to have another crack at this one. I had not been to this one before so decided to try my luck with ManicWombat and with Team Robins. There were four of us stumbling around GZ and we were having very little success when ManicWombat spotted it. ManicWombat went to write in the log book and Mrs Team Robins opened the case. Happy to have another cache signed off and found. TNLN, TFTC Mortified.
Found it No. 3154 ... did this one on the way to the Queensland Event ... TNLN ...TFTC
After meeting up with Team Robins at a nearby cache he mentioned he was going to have another crack at this one. I too had failed here before but figured with more eyes the odds were better, so the hunt was on! I experienced a sense of deja vu was the four of us stumbled around GZ looking very perplexed. I decided to just stand back and scan the surroundings for whwere I might hide a cache. To be honest in this case I did not think this would help, given the apparently devious mind of Mortified However it did work, and I soon had the cache in sight, I'm sure I'd looked there last time, but who knows! I extracted the log book and settled down to write my name. The inner box was not coming out easily so I left that to others. Mrs Team Robins was the lucky one and her reaction was a little distracting and almost put me off my signing I'm happy to see this one on the map as found, TFTC Mortified.
Found after a fair bit of looking, coords are fairly close though I think. Definitely a surprise for the geodaughter, who foolishly snatched the cache to get it open 1st. TFTC
I looke and looked and looked some more and I'm a little with Mtbikeroz on this type of cache and the impact

Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga 2 at 10:20am. This is the 2nd time we have been here and still not an easy find; but a successful one this time. TFTC
Had to resort to reading some past logs to find this one. GPS reported that we were 13m away from GZ. No wonder we were having trouble. Nice cache once we found it. TFTH
I had put this one in the too hard basket but after all the recent logs I decided to give it another try.
I found it with the directions from the previous logs but I am sure I had looked here last time.
I still took a second look this time before I spied it.
I was prepared for the second box but still got a surprise.
TNLN. Another off the list.

This cache was 10 mts up the hill from GZ ,If you like surprizes open the second box
We found this one only by looking for the geotrail mentioned by If. Like others, we found the coords to be a bit off -- 10m out according to my GPS. Palopinto found the cache about the same time MissGeosie faceplanted and I had to extract leaf litter from a wailing toddler mouth. [xx(]. Unfortunately Palopinto was unsurprised by the cache. The log is very wet. We added a baggy (there was none) and a silica gel packet to hopefully help it dry a little. TFTC and for the laugh, Mortified!
I wobbled along the main road above toward GZ at lunch time
Just behind the fenceline I found a neat trail that took me right to the cache location.
That was the easy part
The clue said to look in the long grass.......er.....what long grass [:o]
With no definite direction to head, I wandered around in circles for a while.
No mattress found for a lie down, but there was a doona lying on the ground where the GZ pointed.
There wasn't a cache underneath it
Sitting there with a fizzy 'thinking' cola in me paw I saw tell tale signs of a feint geotrail.
I could tell it was a geotrail as it didn't look well used, unlike all the other trails created through the area by kids, dirt bikes and 4WD's.
Sure enough in the clump of vegetation at the end there was a box
It contained........ a box
It contained........ well I'll leave that to you to find out [^]
TFTC and a bit of a laugh
PS: A search of the Ippy Council website shows this area to be owned by the council and zoned recreation

Nice one. Was kind of prepared for this one after reading previous logs so had my geomunchkin son open it. Priceless. SL.
Found cache after about 10 minutes. Very good cache.
Didn't write in log book as it was wet.

Didnt find the cache today. I'm not sure if anyone is aware, but that land is private property, by QLD Govt Housing.. Signs are everywhere... Wasn't to keen on going much further.
Took a while to find but enjoyed it very much when we found it!!
Should be more of this type!
Should be more of this type!
I was technically dead for 3 seconds when my heart stopped from shock after finding this one [xx(].
This is NOT a good cache.
Here in Canberra, we have ABANDONED this type of cache, TOO MUCH ENVIRONMENTAL damage occurs from people scratching around the bushland trying to find a cache, TRAMPLING all the grass land in a sensitive area, etc etc.
Following the tradition we have in Canberra for these, after I found I too was damaging the ground, I decided to forego this cache - not environmentally sound.
Thanks. (logging now when I have access to a pc)

This one took me a little longer than I expected to hunt down. Had to read some old logs to help pin point an area to search in. It did seem like a needle in a hay stack for a while. Eventually persistence paid off and I just happen to pick the right spot and bang.. got it!. You evil person. TFTC.
Oh this was just too public a place to park the geomobile in full view of the neighbours and disappear up the hill into the scrub today [:o]
Christmas holidays have begun and it seemed everyone in the street was at home today
This looks like a pushbike challenge [^]

I spent 20 minutes treading where others have trod and moving rocks others have already moved but came up empty handed.
With the help of my GPSr, your log about the mattress's relative location and a good poking stick, I found this one after only 20 minutes. Was starting to have flashbacks about my DNF at "click, click, bang". Opened the cache [?][?][?][?][?] signed the log TN/LN and put it all back as I found it.
Now, about those question marks. Look up "The Honeymooners", a show from the very early days of television. Ralph used to say this all the time to his wife Alice and now I say it to you. "One of these days, mortified. One of these days ... POW right in the kisser."

ROTFLMAO..... Actually Ralphie Boy, I love the honeymooners!! Thanks for the commentary. You made me LOL!!

DNF from us today. Not where we looked and we searched for quite some time.
The coordinates may be a little out, but they certainly put you close enough if you're good enough (or lucky enough as I was )
I'm not usually a fan of these "Needle-In-A-Haystack" sort of caches, but this one was very enjoyable. Probably would have been a different story if we searched for an hour and didn't find it.
Great container too - well done!
No swaps - thanks for the cache.

Found the cache dry and in good condition.
Out on a caching afternoon with Steve and Family. Yes, would have to agree with previous posters regarding the coordinates. However, the description given (regarding the distance from the matress etc certainly helped).
It was with some apprehension that we searched the area. Who knows what is in store? Mr Steve let cry the call of 'found it'. That is all that can be told. The rest you will have to find out for yourself.
Thanks
After finding one of Mortified's caches this morning I approached this one with some confidence - but short-lived it was to be.
I got to GZ and started searching without luck. Then after a read of the clue and Gunnies log I got serious and started searching within 5m of where my GPS was telling me was GZ - although it was having trouble making up it mind!! I dissected the area into quadrants and started searching methodically every square centimetre of grass, turned every rock (and put it back), checked every bit of wood, looked up, looked in, looked down, scoured every tuft of grass and poked the ground cover with a stick - no luck.
So I thought what if the coords are NOT accurate - and Gunnies GPS is as inaccurate as Mortified's . The hint was then no help because the whole hillside was full of long grass. I was determined to find it so widened my quadrant searching to 10 metres - again no luck. After 90 minutes I gave up and consoled myself with the fact I was returning home to watch the AFL Grand Final with a few beers.
PS: I put the old mattress where my GPS was telling me was GZ.

The cache location was about 10 metres further up and a little to the left from the mattress location. I will go by there again next week and re-check the gz co-ords. I remember this one when I planted it.
I was not holding my breath and expecting to find this cache in the 10 mins spare time I had. At least I know where to park now.
I had two shots at this one. First hit GZ at 0830 this morning and had a very unsettled GPS. I scouted around for about 20 minutes before giving it away as GPS would put me in a different spot eveytime I picked it up...
So, I continued on my cache run that I had planned for my day off and returned on the way back home. This time, I found the container within 5 minutes at 1545 and still got *FTF*... [^]
Another surprise in this cache too... Your full of them in this round of releases Mortified... This one made me jump though... You should have made this one a night cache...
FYI, GPS suggested the container was 2m off GZ. Pretty good...
Cheers Mortified.

My gps units were not behaving themself today and could not get exact readings on both, so please let me know if co-ords are a little crazy! The co-ords above I got 3 times on 1 unit and close on the other unit.
