I picked this one up today for maintenance. As I was there a Police car drove slowly by. Lucky I was out of the trees by then and had the fortune of having my trailer on the back, to use as an alibi.
So a little later on, I got to thinking about the number of sightings of "strange lurkers" in this area, especially closer to the school. I have no desire for a cacher to be confused for one of these undesrables and challenged by the local constabulary. So, I am archiving this cache.

Found it , it's very wet , we emptied the water and found a néw cover to hide over it
Had a bit of trouble zooming in on this one. Cache was a bit wet. Tried to dry it out a bit. TFTC
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
Nice easy find finally after our many, many, many failed attempts. We are very glad to have this one as a smiley face now

After an excellent day of geocaching, six finds (no DNF's), and new co-ordinates, we were praying to find this one. We have tried this one previousl and spent 30 minutes searching. Another search today, and unfortuanetly, 45mins later, still nothing. We have searched every square centimetre of the area and have had no luck. We will be back to find this one, however for now, it shall stay as a DNF
TFTH Gunnie69! We will find it

I haven't been back to this cache since I found it. So I thought I would drop by this morning and check all was well. It sure is... Cache is safe and well and remarkably dry given recent weather.
I noted a very slight difference in my GPS reading to the listed coords so I have updated the listing to see if that helps. Go get it... [^]

GGGGRRRRRRRR, unluck for me twice visit, searched everywhere for 30mins as unable to find, read previous logs should be easy then back searched again, still no cache there...
I was in the area doing some caching with Team Lokipagan and Fangsoki.
The Loki's had already found this one before, so Fangsoki and I headed off to search for this one. After a bit of a search the cache was in hand and the log was signed.
Thanks for the cache. While signing the log one of those pesky cache dwelling frogs hopped on in.

This cache had beaten me previously and I was having none of it again. I had seen some of mortified's caches in other areas since and now had an idea on the hide. Radnoski and I fanned out we fianlly located the well hidden beast. Another nemesis cache off the list. TFTC mortified and Gunnie69
Our longest search for the day today, we were just about to give up when one last sweep was called and the cache was found. TY.
Last day of holidays in QLD with Jeanette. Spent the day visiting my parents.
After lunch we all went to try and find this cache. Pulled over on the side of the road looked all over the place and could not find it.
Will be back in December to have another look.

Yes I was once again mortified for a significant time . After much proding and poking and walking round in circles I eventually came up with the goods
Unfortunatley the area near here seems to be a bit of a dumping ground for the locals

Well, finally have this one, however can't actually claim the find, rather some fellow neighbourly geocachers (lokipagan) who tuned up discovered the cache - thanks - don't know how long I would have been there otherwise.
Cache is about 5 metres away from GZ location.
Took TB for a ride, lets see where he ends up this time on his journey!

After running into cachers at the last cache, we were very surprised to pull up and find speedgeo already searching for this cache! Still took some time before Loki stepped on this one [^]. TFTC mortified and gunnie and lovely to meet you speedgeo!
[It took me three attempts to find this one.
With cars so close by. It is hard to look iinconspicuous] when lurking in the undergrowth at the side of the road.
[I tried to pretend I had stopped to make a call but then a kind muggle wanted to know if my car was broken down.
I read some of the other log entries and that helped me find this tricky cache when the GPS jumped about a bit.. Whew.I am sure glad to log this one. TFTC
I left Soccer loving Aussie Tack - a- bear because he can watch the sport across the road. I hope he likes rugby too]

As there have been a couple of finds since my last attempt, I decided to have another look.
20 minutes of searching did not reveal the cache. I returned to the car and read the logs and cache details again.
I returned to the area and walked straight to the cache. I'm sure they disappear and re-appear just to haunt me.
Took Yoshi TB for a wander. Another off my DNF list, thank goodness.

Pulled up and did not even get out of the car as there where several crews cutting up trees that have fallen over the fence.

Clever hide. Left travel bug, Took monkey. TFTC [^]

Another that took me a second attempt to finally nab.
Walked right up, poked around a bit and there it was.
Now why wasn't it that easy last time?
TFTC.

No amount of fossicking was bringing this one to hand for me either. If its still there.. its a good hide :p
I never thought about Clean UP Australia Day, but it was more likely that I wasn't looking in the right spot.
No luck for us this eveing, though the area's obviously been thoroughly looked at recently. Maybe those enthusiastic Clean-Up Day people got here before us!!
Found 10:32 today..
Relatively easy find (having found a few of Mortified's previously helps)

Thaks Mortified for the cache...

Second attempt at this one, and sweet success! Just as ROSSx4 before me, I finally found it when I stepped on it. The caching eyes let me down, but my caching feet saved the day
Signed log , took cute little rubber snake and left aussie thong keyring. TFTC.

Eleventh cache today, on a morning cache trek with The Sprakers. The geokids loved this one. Murphy's Law prevailed with this one being our last, not far fro home. Took about 20 minutes to discover this one. Almost gave up. Geo kids enjoyed the swaps and replenished the treasure as usual. TFTC
Out with Mrs Ant and geobub today, this was the first on our list and our first DNF. Had a pretty good look around but couldn't come up with the goods. Didn't search through the rubbish, so hope it's not under that!!
Found with tic toc and company.
We didn't have to search for long. Got lucky and had the log signed and replaced before the area got us down (rubbish everywhere).

Some one has spread rubbish all throught the GZ. Didn't bother looking as I felt that it was unsanitary and didn't want the Geokids coming into contact with the rubbish there such as used disposable nappys and organic kitchen waste.
This one drove me insane and took a lot longer than it should of. My GPS was playing silly buggers sending me off 25m away in different directions, probably due to magnetic influence of the power lines and metal fence in the area. I decided to try and narrow my search by triangulating my search but it was still off by several metres in the end. I nearly left it a few times but I didn't wanna be beaten so I widened my search area by circling outwards and finally success. TNLNSL, TFTC.
Phew, only just made this find before the light disappeared. Had to walk out and navigate back a few times before the GPSr put me right on top of the cache. Why can't it do that the first time? [:(!]. TN/LN/SL.
Steve and Family's log helped to locate this one - I started to look in a place where I didn't expect the cache, and there it was! Nice hide. The horse flies were rather annoying though. TFTC
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 1:32pm. Quite an easy find and log. TFTC
This one should have been a lot easier than we made it.....
The coordinates proved to be pretty accurate in the end - if only we believed the GPS in the first place!
Steve eventually found the cache in the first place we should have looked
No swaps - thanks for the cache.

Hah!! One for If
But it still took 15 minutes to find this 'easy find'

After a sweeping search I tracked this cache down.
My GPS was very jumpy for no good reason. I think it suffers from nerves when I stop to find a Mortified cache.
Either that or Mortified has installed a device into each of his caches that interferes with the satnav signal....... Am I getting paranoid??

Found with Gunnie69.
Gunnie spotted this one so we decided to go for a bit of a hunt in the hope of an FTF. Didn't quite get it though...

I was around this area with an hour to spend so I grabbed a couple of new caches. I was suprised to get a FTF on this one as the other one I did near-by had been found already. TNLN. Thanks Mortified.
Took a small detour on the way home, in the hope of getting the FTF, too late. Beaten by Ledgins and Gunnie, oh well, there's always next time. TFTC
I had just settled after my day of hunting when this one appeared in my inbox... We were heading out anyway so it went without saying that we should swing by and have a quick look...
So, entire Gunnie Clan in the mobile, we headed off with a minor detour. At GZ, this was a nice quick find which is just what I needed after a couple of other Mortified caches today...
Accompanied by Silver Sovereign, the log was signed and we hit the road... Apparently, not long before tekfukoi arrived. We hit GZ around 1715.
Cheers Mortified.
