Tftc. Well that is just brilliant. And still in such great condition after all this time. Definite FP.

A lovely walk around Bellbird Grove this morning with Kolour. After completing the AL, we visited other caches in the area.
This was well done, in traditional wingaap style. An FP from me.
Thanks wingaap for the cache, and 1MinnieMoo for the ongoing maintenance.

What a great cache!
Good work has gone into making this one.
Left a TB and a fav point
Find number 28152 for me.
Thank you Wingaap for hiding this geocache.

I had the morning free, so decided to find a few more of the old Wingaap caches in this area. Final one for today. On approach I could see that there was a recent burn off and after seeing the melted condition of the nearby Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, I was worried. However, I found the cache in good condition. It took a little while to open the lock as it was stiff as it hasn’t been found for almost a year but happily got there and what a lovely surprise when I opened it so a fp. Tftc

Out this morning for an extended maintenance run, and now time for a few finds - targeting the remaining caches by this CO that I have not yet found ... while I still can. Next up here, and yes (as always) I am blown away. So to speak. Really happy to see this one living on. Have had it on my to-do list a couple times, but a bike ride that went west, and twice that the road was blocked off a year or two ago ... well this was my first time actually here. I came prepared with my research, I know the material well ... so well that I had two potential answers, the (correct) simple approach, and an overthinking version. The first worked, and there was no explosion. And blessed for the lovely little walk in to GZ with the new maintainer herself, thankyou.

Thanks Wingaap for entertaining me at this location.
Cool *{Overall find #10113}* Cool

Happy to report it’s all in good working order still!

This morning, I was able to escape for a few hours and took a drive along Mount Nebo Road with the objective of finding a few more creative and well-constructed geocaches hidden by wingaap. After finding a few, I parked at the top of Duck Creek Track, and made the descent down, hoping to find a few locations that Indiana Co had visited. A nice walk around Mount Arum Gold Mine area, and the creek nearby was quite tranquil, before I ran out of time and needed to ascend back to the car. I made a few final stops along Mount Nebo Road as I returned back home.

I had visited Bellbird Grove a few months ago with jesswrigley, but unfortunately, we ran out of time in visiting this cache, so given this was one of my few left to find in the area, I made the short detour. After parking at the top of the fire track and walking down, I soon found the cache. The field puzzle had me stumped for a few minutes as I was trying a few combinations. I had to re-read the description hoping for some inspiration, and then I tried something else that was rather basic, to see the padlock unlock.
Wow, this cache was awesome, and I really enjoyed this theme and detail once I was allowed into the prize! The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and no need for maintenance at this cache. Whilst inspecting the contents, I did hear some scurrying around me, and it was only during my departure that a goanna was suprised as I was to see one another. Thanks wingaap for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. If help is required to maintain, then I'm happy to help in the future, or adopt if need be!

Heading out with Mr and Mrs SP today with one mission - to find as many Wingaap caches as we could. This was the sixth cache for the day. Wingaap, your caches have entertained and inspired geocachers for decades, and I sincerely hope I have not found your last cache. You're appreciated. I have run out of FPs today, but each and every cache certainly deserves one.

After a long week at work and then just a couple of hours of work on this Friday morning, the rest of the day was looking promising for an adventure.
Having seen on a recent FB post, that some of wingaap’s iconic caches were potentially heading for adoption, we decided to get busy today and find a few more. We have loved all our adventures with the hides you have created, and this one was no exception.

We arrived at GZ and read the book of armaments out loud to any of the birds, reptiles or insects that might choose to listen to us. Nearby a kookaburra laughed out loud at our readings.
And then, it was down to business.
A small huntsman spider tried to spook us as we opened the container, however its small size definitely means this one has a bit more growing to do in order to intimidate any determined geocacher.
Such a great hide, a creative container, and a definite favourite to start our day, which turned out to be full of laughs and happiness as we took a tour of wingaaps specials!
Thanks wingaap

I have long heard whispers of this ancient holy relic and have been waiting for an opportune time to make the pilgrimage to pay homage.

Arriving at GZ the reliquary was soon located, and recalling the words of the holy scriptures, I was soon able to cast my unworthy eyes upon the relic. It did take some divine inspiration before I worked out how to access the logbook to be able to add my signature.

Goes without saying that a favourite point has been awarded. TFTC

13/4/21 Find #4714
I had an afternoon free (after having to wait all morning for a plumber to come to check out a leaking roof), so decided it was high time to tackle a few of Queensland’s oldest 500 caches that I still had scattered locally. A check of the map revealed some of those available nearby were wingaap caches. And although this one is not one of those oldest, I was just down from here for another cache anyway, and have had this puzzle solved for such a long time - I seem to recall having solved it at the same time as a certain Trojan Rabbit - so it was high time that I made sure to finally collect it.
Actually a read of this later, revealed I didn’t need to solve where the cache was after all. The puzzle component was for in the field.
A short drive back to here and I found a spot to pull the car in. Then I began the walk - of course a down hill walk on the way to the cache was going to mean uphill for the return journey. Oh well, gotta get that fitness back.
It wasn’t long before I was heading off track and came upon a rather pretty little spider - a spiny jewel spider. Unfortunately the wind wasn’t going to cooperate with my photography attempts, and the only shot I managed of this little guy was rather blurry.
With me finally deciding to ditch my efforts of getting a decent picture, I made the very short distance between the spider and the cache, found in the likely location. Then I saw the lock and remembered some mention of this in the cache. My notes told me nothing, but a brief read of the description and I soon knew what I needed.
Unlocking the cache, I opened it up to find quite the glorious treasure! With a cache guardian looking out for it of course - and of course it had to be on the part that held the logbook!
I managed to gently extract one from the other and soon opened the logbook holder and signed my name.
Then I carefully replaced all, avoiding the cache guardian once more, before making my way back up that hill to the car.
Thanks for the cache wingaap.

The plan today was to do a few caches around Enoggera reservoir and then come down to bellbird grove and do this little area. After a 6 hour hike, some cache exploration and grabbing 8 caches prior, I was getting a little tired.
But I wanted to see bellbird grove so I started with this one and I’m glad I did, what a cache. The puzzle wasn’t too hard and an interesting container. Opening the cache I was great with the Holy Grail well it could have been you don’t know. Thank you for your unique cache designs, they always give me a smile when I find them. A FP from me.

Well what a sight this one was. I loved the movie, and if there was a ferocious rabbit lurking nearby, well, that would have topped things right off. Took some obligatory photos of the assembled HHOA then ceremoniously dismantled it, sprinkling it with Holy Water derived from the tears of the oppressed working class. With a quill fashioned from the toe bone of Saint Gertrude the Flatulent, I etched my name on the parchment inside and reassembled, all before the count of 5.
3 my Lord.

Slow Puncture had already found this cache previously when we had a youngster with us. We thought it was a great cache then and today when I ‘re-found’ it, I thought it was still a great cache! Loved the way of getting the combination and loved the cache container! Great job on this one.

Out for the day with Slow Puncture who had found this one previously. After taking the wander down the hill, it didn't take too long for us to locate the container, then it was my turn to use the puzzle to open it up. Love and behold, it was glorious, some real effort in the construction, deserving of an FP.

– What has wingaap ever given us?!
– Erm ... caches?
– What?
– A whole bunch of geocaches.
– Oh. Yeah, yeah. He did give us those. Uh, that’s true. Yeah.
– And lots of amazingly constructed containers.
– Yeah. All right. I'll grant you he has come up with some stunning containers.
– And he’s given us lots of fun.
– Well, yeah. Obviously he’s given us lots of fun; that goes without saying. I mean, everyone enjoys finding a cache, right?
– A sense of adventure.
– Huh?
– Adventure. And fresh air. New trails.
– Yeah, yeah. All right. Fair enough.
– Surprises!
– What?
– That’s something we'd really miss, if wingaap weren’t geocaching. The surprises when we open his caches.
– All right, but apart from surprising containers, a sense of fun and adventure, new trails, interesting puzzles, fresh air, awesome hiding spots, a few choice Monty Python references, and an overall appreciation of nature, what has wingaap ever done for us?
– Brought inspiration to new cachers all over Brisbane?
– What?! Oh ... inspiration, yes ... SHUT UP!!

Sunday. Slow Puncture was out today on Mothers Day with family members, who included a very young member who has really taken with finding “treasures”. After a lovely picnic bbq lunch at a nearby picnic area, this was the second of 5 caches we found today. We saw that this cache had many FPs awarded to it, and we are needing caches with lots of FPs to help us qualify for a newly published challenge. We weren’t disappointed! This is an amazing cache! Lovely area and a young new recruit to the caching world enjoying finding great caches like this one Big Grin Mr SP, being a devotee of the sourse from which this idea and the name and hints were derived, was particularly taken with the effort and presentation, and awards another richly deserved FP.

This was the 7th of 10 caches found on today's trip.

Thanks ***wingaap***, for showing us this place. Smile

Out for the day with nikid1. We had both looked at this one last night & had a few ideas for the field puzzle. A nice walk to GZ where we didn't take too long to find the cache, now to get into it. Nic did the honours & was soon opening the lid to reveal a beautiful & creative cache, love it. Have another favourite point to add to the collection.

KerriMG and I were driving out of this picnic ground when we decided we better stop and find this cache. We had both read the description last night and had a few ideas on the field puzzle element. Embarrassed to say the answer wasn’t our first (or second) guess. But got there we did.
I don’t remember the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch being so pretty. Having no bunnies in sight we left it for the next visitors who may not be so fortunate.

I had just watched the relevant scene many times counting various things for another puzzle cache (preparing for a trip to New Zealand). So I had a good idea what number to try. A couple of variants and the cache was open. Another cache worthy of a favourite point. TFTC!

Found the cache container easily and thought that I had an idea of the numbers required. No? After trying this and that back to the start. After some fiddling the lock opened with the first combination I had tried. Clumsy fingers and a sensitive lock don't mix...

Love Monty Python and of course the container.

First time I'd looked seriously at this puzzle was last night before targeting this area for today's run. Was glad that it was a field puzzle as I didn't know where to start with the dialog for the cache.

At GZ the GPS was bouncing around and after taking a cursory glance at an obvious spot, went 25m further down the hill before the GPS decided to put me back to the same obvious spot. Who said GPS's don't have a sense of humour!!

Without re-reading the Book of Armaments, Chapter 4, Verses 16 to 20 again, I had a good idea what the combination would be. And it opened first time!! What a prize inside!!!!!! Appreciate the effort in setting this puzzle up and being a Monty Python admirer from way back, hope a favourite point suffices. Thanks for this puzzle wingaap.

First found this with Kidnap early last year when we were at the start of our geocaching journey and though I'd log it once I got a premium membership so finally today I got round to visiting again.

Gets a favourite for creativity and being the first cache I saw that was something a bit different.

The new padlock opens a bit more easily than I remember from last time and the contents still impress. Australian bushland feels a long way from misty Glencoe in Scotland where King Arthur and his Knights used one against the deadly rabbit!

Surprised to see its been over 6 months since the last log and a pity its a bit unloved, we left a trackable that i'll collect next time I'm passing if its not moved on.

One of my favourite ever caches, first found as a muggle with the friend who introduced me to caching.

09-Dec-15
I had solved this puzzle some time ago and my solution was confirmed by a friend. Today, after finding a couple of caches further along the road, I made my way to this one. I parked at the trailhead and wandered down to GZ. There the cache was quickly located. I hope my solution is correct. I tried and was happy to be able to unlock the box. What lovely items inside Smile I signed the log and returned everything to where and how I had found it before heading on my way. TFTC

After a long flight home - I just needed to get out and take the dog for a quick walk and collect a daily find. Beautiful afternoon too. Parked close by and made my way down the track. At GZ I re-read the description and tried a number. But it didnt work, so I tried another. But surely it had to be the original one - so on my third attempt it worked! Nice workmanship wingaap TFTC

I need to do some catching up, my logging is behind;
I'll write a note to let you know that I have made a find.

My last cache for the day. A nice hike in to GZ before getting distracted from task at hand by a red-backed fairywren. How exciting!! I don't think i've ever seen one before. Smile

Once he flew off i was able to focus back on the hunt and soon i was blessed enough to have the cache in hand.

The Brother's readings rang in my ear and soon the HHOA was revealed (i knew that having that movie imprinted in my brain would come in handy one day). Wow! impressive indeed. The log book was extracted and signed and no one snuffed it. All good with this one.

Thanks again for all your hard work on these caches. They are truly impressive. Smile

After our expedition up the coast, we were very tired when we ambled to this cache but I wanted it for my souvenir as it had 29 favourites of which I will give it another at the end of our visit.
Geopartner is a great fan of these type of movies and has a copy of all of them.
I will give a few exerts of this one that made us chuckle.
"We have a witch. "How do you know she is a witch?' "She turned me into a newt" " A newt" "Yer, but I am getting better now"
King Arthur gathered his men to go find the holy hand Granade of Antioch. " This is my good steed Pansy. Clip clop clip clop. ( goes the coconuts)
We arrived to find the cache and soon was adoring its internal delights. I held the Holy grenade on high and soon we had signed the log and photos taken returned as we had found it and headed back to the geomobile.
Love your work Sir Wingaap of the caches, another fine sample of your work.

Im not a big fan of puzzles, it seems I'm not quite cut out for solving them, but this one had a very easy rating and it sounded intriguing, especially as the cache is actually at the coordinate. I was with muggle friends Tash and Ben, who are always up for an adventure. We were walking around the mine shafts, when I told them there is a cache up there. Ben is keen on puzzles, and even with a fractured shoulder insisted we bush bash our way up the hill to have a look at this cache. Tash reckoned there had to be a fire trail, or at least an easier way to get there, but Ben reckoned the hill was worthy of the 1.5T rating. Seeing as Ben is an avid hiker, I don't think most people will agree with his version of 1.5T. So up we trudge, eventually coming upon (you guessed it!) a fire trail. luckily I have been keen to wear in my new boots. Right, now to sort out the clue. We tried our first guess. Nope. Tried adding, multiplying, nope nope. Tried the first guess, the box slipped and the lock opened! haha, how silly we are. We all stared in wonder at what was inside. True treasure indeed. TFTH Wingy, this is another one of those caches that will be talked about for years.

Actually found this cache almost two months ago, but just realized I didn't log it.... tftc...

Often when I am on the road I will not take a look at puzzles, as there are quite a number around that require a little more time and thought then can be given to them. However I thought it worth a look when I noticed the D rating.

So a little look and I figure I had a reasonably good chance to take a look and see how it works out. So I parked the car and wandered along the fire trail, and soon enough was in the right spot. My suspicions about what I needed to do were right but it was just to work out the correct information.

Hmmmm so after trying a few different options, I soon had a lightbulb moment and was able to get the access required. It did take a minute or two more to figure out the log book, but soon enough it was in hand and I was adding my name to the log, before putting everything back ready for the next finder.

Out and about today because a fishing trip was cancelled. What better thing to do than go and pick up some of those solved puzzles, multis, Jasmer challenge and Hidden Date challenge caches that seem to keep growing in my lists.
Seeing as I started the day on a wingaap puzzle, I thought it appropriate to end it on one too. I had a fair idea I knew what to do at GZ, it did take a few goes to get the right mix of numbers! Once again a terrific example of what can be achieved with a little thought and a lot of ingenuity.

Thanks for the hide

Always been an admirer of the Monty Python movies and always get a new laugh out of them when I watch them again. I think it must be time to revisit them and have a laugh again. This was another cache where Peter and I were given the guided tour by the CO and enlightened to his way of thinking on this one. There was a couple of small mysteries involved with this cache, but nothing too hard, especially with the CO with us. I really loved the craftmanship on this one. Something to emulate for sure.

Thanks wingaap, liked this one.

Part VII

While we talked over the phone Saturday evening, Wingaap told me that I had to see this one. If you're a fan of Monty Python, it can be considered as a must visit cache. Hmm, let's take a look then. Switched on the laptop and googled for the Monthy Python fragment. Although I could imagine what would be the case, in geocaching you never know. It seems that Wingaap is more the type that just wants you to have a decent hike and no silly puzzling to get you puzzled.

We found the treasure and heading back to the car for the next cache, another puzzle.

--- to be continued ---

Thanks for this cache,
Peter from The Netherlands

Out hunting wabbits with Dr_Pepi, Mataeka and Team DNF....we left one car at "The Marshall Area" (lets say WP1) and drove another to Bellbird Grove (WP2), planning to wander our way along Mt Nebo Road, grab a few caches while heading back to WP1, before driving back to the WP2...its not that far right????.....except no one mentioned the bl00dy big hills we we walking up (hang on....didn't we drive DOWN that to get here....)

After counting to three, Team DNF opened the lock to see the treasure that awaited us. Log signed, and everything locked and tucked safely back away we reconsidered our plan to walk all the way to WP2 and decided to head back to WP1....although I offered to run back down Bellbird Grove (Road?), our new team decided we should all continue our journey down the track/fire trail which appeared to lead to the base of the carpark.....this should be fine right...as long as we don't encounter any cliffs right we joked.....the 'track' we ended up on, makes BFP's "Hellhole Break" look like a summer vacation...I cursed myself for leaving my trekking poles at home today, and jinxed Mataeka by mentioning how 'sure footed' and confident she was....just before she took a slide down the vertical face we were traversing. Finally Mataeka announced we had reached the creek and there finally was WP1 and thankfully at this point, our motorised transportation awaiting us to complete our day.

Lessons/Notes to self - DO NOT do 3 hour bootcamps the day before Geoadventures....always take hiking poles....learn how to read contour lines.

Well… how can anyone match the log from NeverLostAU below??

Out with trin_007, mataeka and Team__DNF, visiting some wingaap caches in the area. After finding a few more local caches we had debated whether we should come to find this one. We weren't entirely sure whether we should - we didn't think we had solved the puzzle but figured what the hell, we were so close we may as well come for a look. And aren't we glad we did!

After trekking more uphills from the nearby cache, and then some downhill (that was nice), we found ourselves at GZ. Running our eyes over the puzzle once more we identified what we needed, and Team__DNF accessed the cache, very very carefully… we found the HHOA, but luckily there were no rabbits around so we didn't need to toss it anywhere.

Left an orange poison frog TB. Think I'm also leaving another fave point here for you wingaap! TFTH Smile

I have been on a pilgrimage to find this ancient icon for a vast amount of time. So long in fact that the fires of hell itself have ebbed and flowed across the land during the ensuing years. However, the devout caretakers of this adored icon have painstakingly and faithfully restored it to it's former glory. As is written in Hezekiah chapter 9 verse 23: "Cleanliness is next to godliness." and verse 24: "And in those days there will come pilgrims, guided by the stars, who seek to findeth and loggeth the remaining armaments of old."

So, this day was predestined for me to make the final steps towards my goal. I noted that no one had made the journey, and survived to tell about it, since August last. With some trepidation I dismounted the coconut driven mule and got my bearings..., pencil, pith-helmet, water grail, cloak, cane knife, notebook, portmanteau, umbrella, camera, tripod, flashguns, chaise-lounge, towel, african swallow, breakfast cereals, one long bent thing with a kind of knob on the end, one leather case for same, and one 'same', and I pointed my trusty way-finding duck in the general direction of G.Z.S.S. (i.e. grounderia zona sensu stricto). I got five, nay three, steps and toppled over, dropping the tripod off the chaise-lounge which scared the duck, who ran under the falling portmanteau squashing the duck, which bumped the knife and cut the tether on the swallow's leg, which flew south for winter. Looking down at the pile of stuff I think I may have had an epiphany - I just grabbed the towel (and the pencil of course!) and walked on in glorious defiance! (The swallow also hopped along behind me on it's remaining leg.)

To my astonishment the path was wide and straight and laid out clearly before me, as if it was beaconing me on in a kind of playful, whimsical way. I felt like skipping down the hill, which I would have done if I hadn't left my shoes back on the mule. So I picked my way carefully down the last of the pilgrims' way in my holy socks until I reached the sepulchre and the last resting place of the holy armament. I stood in awe and reverence for a moment, until the swallow caught up, and then... blast and drat!! I left the bolt-cutters back on the mule as well! If only the duck was still here.

As best I could I tried to recite the relevant text in my head and the digits gradually came up as a reverberation - oh, pardon me! That's it! Glory of glories - a sight to behold indeed. I held the bejewelled orb aloft and gave thanks as it glittered and glistened in the morning sun. I digitally examined and enjoyed the other minor icons, especially the little framed "Legendary (Animated) Black Beast of Aaaaarrrrrrggghhh."

In reverence to the artefact I walked backwards all the way back to the mule, turned, and made my way back to tedious normality. (I last saw the swallow heading south in search of it's other leg).

Thanks for the opportunity to visit this most hallowed and ancient armament Mr wingaap, your humble follower, NeverLostAu

Well it was a very cold and blustery night and I was up on the mountain pursuing a less glorious goal that the Holy Grail, but one that the Holy Hand-grenade of Antioch would be helpful in completing. I have set myself the quest to find a mystery cache a day for the crazy souvenir a day month.

Typically, I completely missed the huge path that lead most of the way there and bashed through the bush to GZ. The fire damage to some of the nearby trees is pretty spectacular. One is completely hollowed but looks fine on the outside. I have no idea how it could have burnt like that. Maybe the sap burnt slowly for a long time.

Found the cache fine and worked the puzzle and had a lovely wow moment when I opened up.

Thanks for the amusing puzzles and the great caches Wingapp.

at 14:58. We had decided we had done our dash in Bellbird Grove for today but then decided that this one looked worth a go. We recognised the art in this one so we must have done its precursor some years ago.

Some people just don't get Monty Python. Thankfully, I'm not one of those. I love Monty Python and this is a classic sketch of theirs. With much anticipation, I arrived at GZ. Bugger, forgot the number I needed to open this beauty.....

Once opened, I was not disappointed. Unbelievable creation. Worthy of another favourite. (I have been saving favourites for today's adventure). TFTC Wingaap.

Great afternoon bush walking with geoson#1. Found this fantastic cache with little trouble. Fantastic cache as usual from wingaap.
Thanks for the afternoon adventure.

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this cache, from the initial reading, to the walk in, to the unlocking, to the final production (photos taken), to another verbal performance of the script in situ. Terrific work and all in perfect condition today. Thanks for another beauty, WingAAP! (Fave point.)

Out with IolantheK for the day. Slowly but steadily making smilies as we go. IolantheK was pretty confident with the solution to this one. She was very happy to find shiny things inside Wink

Out and about in the company of teamdfl Smile

When we planned to visit this area, I set about solving the 2 puzzles. The other one took me a good two hours to work out, but this one didn't seem to need any solving... Hmmm... not too sure about that... Well, I guess I can just head to GZ and see what transpires.

We couldn't seem to find the right path up to this one, so had a big hill climb and bush bash before we found the trail and wandered to GZ. The cache was an easy find, and I'm pleased to say I did know all I needed and we got it open first go [^] So much shiny inside [^] Thanks for yet another great hide, wingaap. Another favourite point Smile

Today was a day to grab some caches that we have previously said, "oh, that is a little hard to get to and we need more time to grab that one". This was the 8th on the list. Geohubby loved this from the start, same sense of humour. We arrived here after some extreme bush bashing on previous caches. Blood was dripping from arms and legs but we battled on reminded of the epic phrase "it's only a flesh wound". [B)] Yeah it was ok. No, it was FANTASTIC!!! Big Grin And we did not over or under-estimate the number, using only what was appropriate, no more and no less. OMG what a cache container. We were on top of the world. We have found the Holy Grail. Such a clever cache, amazing and of course you get a favourite from us. Now we can move on to other caches, never complaining about our wounds because as they say in today's Olympics closing ceremony "Always look on the bright side of life"!!!! Big Grin

I have been saving this one for a significant milestone.....and today was the day!

NUMBER SEVEN HUNDRED! So to reach this milestone, thou must count to 700. 700 shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be 700. 701 shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count 699, excepting that thou then proceedeth to 700. 702 is right out. Once the number 700, being the number of the counting, be reached, then the milestone shall be reached!

I have to say it took a while to open this, tried to many combinations, including the correct one, but just didn't line it up. I handed it over to the offsider, who had it open in about 2 seconds.... : / Within was a marvel far beyond what I expected to find and after a few moments of admiring, we left behind some trinkets, took a few photos and moved on to an eagerly awaiting coffee and breakfast reward for the early start!

TFTC and the wonderful morning of geocaching and providing a truly magnificent geocache to mark my 700th milestone! (I'll have to see about that 800th milestone now...)

Unfortunately I do not know much about Monty Python Sad
After sitting down Easter Sunday puzzling some caches in the area, I decided I needed to watch a small snippet, to get an understanding of what I was going to do to get this log book out
Visit link.
After watching this, I was sure I was going to work it out once I got there.
After the small walk down the hill, we arrived to find it nicely tucked away. hmmmm seems I am pretty sure how to open this and.....voila
Wow, we were surprised at what we seen when opening up this beauty! Yet again another fantastic wingaap cache that has to be seen to be believed. Thanks wingaap Big Grin another favourite for sure!!

After what seemed like weeks of never ending rain, we woke up to sunshine Big Grin What a great day to head out and complete yet another milestone Cool Yes a thoroughly enjoyable milestone, our 100th Wingaap cache [^]

We headed off with our little rugrats in tow to GZ wondering what we were about to find, Dylan uncovered the hide who passed it to Daddy for the hardwork, after a couple of slight hiccups the puzzle was conquered and the grenade was unveiled Surprised What another fantastic creation, yet again it did not disappoint Big Grin

Thanks Wingaap for the caches you place, we have enjoyed them all… We always have a picture in our minds of what we will find at each one but our imagination is usually not as good as what we discover [^] Now on to some more surprises awaiting on Mt Nebo Road Smile TNLN TFTC Wingaap

Holy hand grenades Batman. Never before have I seen such a beautiful weapon of self-destruction.

Thou shalt consider oneself extremely blessed to create such a masterful piece of beauty.

Found the log book nice and dry as would be expected. Made my mark, took nothing, left nothing.

Thanks again. Frewster =)

Wingaap helped me cheat a little with the puzzle, pointing out the clues on the tin and quoting verbatim from the relevant scriptures. Another splendid Monty Python fan cache.

After some quick lunch and a smelly find it was great to be back in the bush and in search of a mystry cache.

We arrive and GZ and soon had the cache in hand now how to obtain the log and sign our names, attempt one fail...

Attempt two success Big Grin we added our name and admired the cache. We returned the Holy grail to its hiding spot and continued on our way.

Phew! Close call! Thankfully I had watched the Holy Grail some time ago so appreciated this hide completely. Gaz'n'Kab and myself headed down to check out this hand grenade of holy proportions and soon Gary held aloft it's case. A beam of light shone down and counting to three was done. 'One!' I said. Then 'Two!'. 'Three comes next!' as Gaz punched in the numbers. NO! The wrong counting, My quick thinking saved us, 'Three sir!'. 'Oh, Three' said Gaz and the grenade was tossed the way of the bunny (or Kab as she is sometimes known). The grenade was opened with all it's armament force and revealed not explosive power but a logbook which we did sign. Back in the pin went and We all admired the effort that has gone into this cache before replacing. A great and fun cache, TFTC wingaap.

Before reaching for the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch I did practice thou counting to three and only counting to three. Not four as four was too many and five was deemed right out as the point was counting to three and to three only. I did count to two...on my way to three. Big Grin

Thus with the practicing of counting to three done I felt sufficiently prepared to reach for the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch as thus I didst succeed in the signing of thou log. Big Grin

All hail ME Cool the newest holder of the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch. Big GrinCool

This one was on my hit list for today as I needed to find it to fill a gap on my calendar for finds for placed dates. ( Only 5 to go)

A pleasant stroll and I easily disarmed the mechanism and extracted the log without a bang.

Thanks wingaap. I often wonder where you get these great ideas.

Wow what a cache - highlight of the day for us Big Grin! We headed off to this not knowing what to expect and before long had the treasure chest in our hands. Luckily we had committed the book of armaments to memory and soon worked out how to open the cache - a collective whoa sound was made as we opened the box to see what was inside. A bit more puzzling and we found the log to sign. Fantastic. Thanks for the cache.

I was out caching with Fangsoki and this one came up on the radar. (or the GPSR equivalent of a radar)

I read the description and wasn't quite sure of what I would find at the GZ. Luckily it all kind of made sense once I reached the GZ and on the second attempt the cache was opened and all was good.

TFTC Wingaap. Excellent cache, love the creativity.

While signing the log one of those pesky cache dwelling lizards scurried on in.

For some reason, I had not done this cache while in the area yet. I am going to have to return again to do some other nearby ones too. Went for a nice walk and found the cache in it's home with no problems at all. Saw the challenge at hand and got the cache open with no problems at all. Another excellent Wingaap creation. This one is a very beautiful bit of work and I enjoyed it a lot. Everything in the cache is in excellent order. TFTC Wingaap Smile

I was at The Gap with a few spare hours this afternoon,so it was off along Wingaap Drive again. Big Grin

It was a pleasure to rediscover the Holy Hand Grenade...... What an awesome cache to reopen, and it still surprises
even though you know what's inside.

It's like finding the crown jewels in a box in the bush.

This cache is the Holy Grail of caching........ Thanks wingaap

Our 4th find on a day of caching Wingaap drive. Loved the cache container and all it held. It had a spider guard on it today but with persuasion soon moved on. Another Wingaap masterpiece. TFTC

A quick find while out scouting for new cache locations. No dangerous rabbits were nearby, so the artifact remains unused. Thanks for the cache, Andrew and Maryan.

481 - Found this awesome cache in the company of macsbytwo in good, refurbished condition at 12:25pm. I had the cache loaded into my GPSr but they didn't, so they tried to lead me off into the bush at the site of the original cache. I encouraged them to keep walking further, and we soon had the cache in hand. I remember the cache was a Quiz type, so I offered to go back to the geomobile to consult with the notes i had stored in the geocomputer. By the time I had walked back up the hill and run down again, the sneaky blighters had worked out the required way of accessing the contents of the cache. We then had fun reading the text that contained the clue, a great laugh. Thanks for the great cache Wingaap.

Found with Brissy_guy and his Geoson, opened by Geoson with some help from Mrs. macbytwo.
We found this cache just after the fire and returned the charred box to the Wingaap workshop.
Good to see it again all bright and shiny. TFTC B.

@1641

Wow after a few years away from the game, I logged in to find all these very very old field notes still sitting here unprocessed dating back to 2010....what to do what to do.....Log it I say!
-----
The Monkeys are back in the game. After a notable absence with only the occasional find, it was time to get on with some of the funniest monkey business we know. Geocaching. And this time we brought along some friends, old and new.

The return of the Monkeys was inspired by a new friends search for a hobby and we knew the perfect adventure. Once upon a time the Monkeys dominated the Albany Creek area and it was time to reclaim some lost ground.

Wow after a few years away from the game after the Monkeys all got a little busy, their new found love of the game inspired my to login and see what was around. I logged in to find all these very very old field notes still sitting here unclaimed dating back to 2010....After some pondering of the question what to do the geo-grandkids yelled.....Log it! and so I did.

What a way to finish the day. With another awesome creation from Wingaap Cool

How do you even have time to sleep and eat and make all these incredible caches as well?! The mind boggles.

Thanks for a great day Wingaap and all the other cachers we met out on the trail.

Whilst we were slightly in fear for our extremities Alkzura and I braved this cache and were rewarded with the most sparkling armament ever seen. With no lightning bolts or explosions we gratefully headed back to the car after signing the holy book. TFTC

GPS led us straight to the coordinates on this one, and our study of the book of Armaments last night served us well.
NyletaM led the charge of the troops (myself and geobaby) and located the Holy Hand Grenade recepticle first.
With a helping hand and quick prayer to the Gods, I managed to crack the code and open the recepticle.
We carefully pulled the pin on the holy hand grenade and located the prize.
A quick scrawl in the holy book, to note our presence. With thine enemys running for the hills at the sign of such a weapon,
and soon out of range, the holy hand grenade was replaced how it was found, and left for others that require it.
TFTC.

I'm not all that flash at solving puzzles, but this was right up my alley. Like any right thinking person I have long since memorised The Book of Armaments so accessing the logbook was no problem. Just goes to prove that education does pay offWink I was very careful in extracting the log lest I should trigger the thing and snuff itSurprised. It was a real treat to encounter one of Brother Maynard's sacred relics, quite a spiritual experience really.....

I added a magnetic picture to the lid of the swap container, it is perfectly suited to this new home. It was meant to go into my "Spot The Looney" cache but I forgot to put it in before placing it. Took out Geocoin and cloth patch. Put in chinese charm thingy, keyring, and a cute ladybug. Thanks for another classic cache based on one of my favorite themes. Another Wingaap creation going straight to my favorite listBig Grin

Thanks for resurrecting this one, Wingaap Smile
