We were out this way looking around and spotted this on my map.Wow this one has lasted 15 years and still going. The container is starting to break down but still has some life.A good sized Harry the guardian came out from under the log book and ran away. Thanks for the cache.
Lots of ants around the site hard to imagine that there was anything here other than Fields. Thanks for the story and for the cache.
Halfway to Coolamon on a sunny winter's day I found this cache by the roadway. The container was workable but broken and no longer waterproof. As a result the old logs had been degraded by moisture and the ants had moved in. I cleard the container and put the entire cache contents into a plastic bag. Hopefully this helps for a while but ultimately the container is at the end of its life. tsls. tftc.
Chooo ooo [Found] on the way to Lameroos Ludicrous Legwarmers JLWEvent! Container has a hole and contents very poorly! Needs replacement! Thanks Rescue-201!
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Wending our way towards Canberra for the Mega. Staying a couple of days in Wagga Wagga. Today we decided to head out and tackle the caches in the triangle. Friends, Crops and some of the streets caches. Well sure enough we were too ambitious and fell short on our lengthy list. Great weather today, with a cool start. We soon enough were over tree climbs so they became DNA (did not attempt) but as time got shorter there were a few others that had previous DNF and we skipped on past aswell, sorry, but theres only so many hours in a day. [B)]We saw some great caches and clever camo. Been a long time between finds for alot of these caches and the animals have certainly disturbed some, the tethers are also either stiff or snapped on a few aswell.TFTC Rescue-201

sjg66 and I spent the weekend at Junee, so this Triangle of caches was on our "to do list" Great unique containers and inventive hides. Thanks to the Drover's for putting this series out.
**Found whilst in Wagga for a couple of nights**
Out and about with Happy Pants, The Empire and Happy Feet after we managed to organize a couple of nights away.
It was great to be back in Wagga. First time I have visited since I served here in the late '80s. It certainly has changed
After lunch and a caffeine fill up, we headed out hitting another of the trails to the North. Most caches were found fairly quickly with good co-ords. A good time had by all with memories made and laughs had.
Thanks for the cache Rescue-201 and for highlighting the area. Appreciate your efforts.

We were with 'The Crew' in Wagga Wagga for a few days of caching fun! Hitting the trails to the north this morning, we were able to negotiate the busy country farm roads and grab as many caches as we could.
It was now late afternoon and we were cooked - the last one for the day for us! Signing caches with either a stamp, multiple stamps, hand written names or 'The Crew'. Thanks for the cache Rescue-201.

Found as part of a caching run up at Wagga for a few days and we were heading out to tackle a few trails not far from here and we decided to stop off and make a quick park and grab. Nice quick find and we continued on our way, thanks Rescue-201 for the hide.
A quick find while driving to coolamon. Enjoyed learning about the history of the RAAF in this area and looking at the beautiful crops emerging in the paddocks near the cache. Thanks for sharing! TNLNSL TFTC
Another almost drive-by for a quick find!
We have now been in Wagga a few days. We have been greeted with beautiful Autumn days with sunshine and clear skies, but the nights have been bitter. The hose to our caravan froze one night!
The caching has been excellent with variety in hides and a wide range of formats. We have been challenged in many instances.
Today we set out on the triangle trail as we call it. What a surprise this proved to be. There was amazing variety in hides and challenges at every turn. Field puzzles, downright nasty hides as well as straightforward ones. We gave our ladder quite a workout, its first real outing, and have resolved to get one or two other TOTTs that would have been handy today. And we thought we were quite well equipped!
Well done Drovers on some magnificent series that combine together. We even gave some favourites which we don't give easily!

With a packed car and on our way down to our hotel for new year's, we got a call saying our trip to Canberra had to be cancelled. We had two choices - go back to Sydney or find somewhere else. After some searching on Google maps BarberBlackSheep and I decided to head down to Wagga Wagga instead.
After a nice lazy morning, BBS and I decided to head out to collect some caches on our way to the Chocolate and liquorice factory in Junee.
Quick find, 1st for today! These damn flies though!

Had to put the container back in its hide as it was sitting out on its own in the nature strip. Otherwise the container and contents were all ok
Bagging 100 finds in a day has been high on our to-do list for quite a while. After spotting these trails recently, they became our school holiday target! Today the kids were loaded into the car with Mrs Stevo & we chipped away it.... First for the day. Great size hide. Tftc
Enjoyed a day caching with Mrs Wackyweedo and the two younger wackyweedos. Our aim today was to reach 100 cache finds by tackling The Drovers caches around the Coolamon area plus a couple more.
Today was much cooler, with heavy rain and winds throughout the day, then moments of sunshine, which meant less chance of coming across snakes!!
This was our first cache find for the day. Thanks Rescue 201 for placing the cache for us to enjoy

When I was up at Ungarie a few weeks ago and I started the WWW trail I hatched a plan. I knew the rest of my family was going away for the school holidays and so I decided that I would head to Wagga for an overnight trip and try and find 100 caches in a day for the first time. At that point I had collected 50 (and then last weekend I got 54) in a single day, but triple figures was really only possible with a powertrail - and the one The Drovers had set up was worth the effort. So I took a day off work and headed up to make the attempt before everyone gets back tomorrow. Thankfully the weather was not as hot as yesterday so it was a pleasant day driving the blue road grader on the trails north of Wagga.
Up at 5:30 with the first cache at 6AM and by 4PM I had the 100 caches - in the end I got 117 (1 multi, 2 virtuals, 3 earthcaches and the rest Trads - the one solved puzzle was too busy even at 6:30AM). I saw one big Brown Snake, added a couple of birds to my annual list (including Crimson Chats near Gumly Gumly), and saw lots of Caper Whites. Also got plenty of grazes, banged both shins on logs, got a splinter under one fingernail, and suspect I will lose another after dropping a rock on an unlogged Roostaman hide. Climbed a few trees, founds some clever caches and generally had a fantastic time.
Pulled over early as a truck was bearing down on me. A quick find - this one took me to 11 before I started the real business.

After seeing an event pop up at Jugiong, fitzy_1965 and I decided to camp at Oura Beach and hold our own event the next day. We headed off early Saturday morning with three of my geo-kids, Lovetherabbitohs, death_killer & my_name_jeff_1. Most logs were signed as MK, F65 & geokids.
Our event over and done with, it was time for a bit of caching before heading home.
WWW series complete....now time for a few more caches to finish off the day. Fitzy had found this a while ago so the kids and I got out and made a quick find.

Belated Log. It is a beautiful sunny, winters day which allow us to make good use of the day out, as Happy Feet 1 and myself took a drive upto The Rock for the day, grabbing some caches along the way. We discovered many great and clever hides and only had 1 DNF for the whole day. A very successful day, with some laughters and good company.

Hard to believen that there was someting out here, back then. A quick drive by here but an opportunity with the container to drop off a TB.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. As of the start of 2018 my average was only 47 words per log, which seems along way from the 100 target. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 7000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 50 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.
Thanks Rescue-201 for placing the cache for us to find.

It is amazing how such large infrastructure can so completely disappear.
We have seen this at so many places.
Interesting to here the history of the site though.

This was the first one on our list of caches to look for today. It was an easy find and our name was soon added to the log sheet. All was then put back as it had been found and we were soon on our way to continue the hunt. Thank you to Rescue-201 for placing this cache.
Came out after my driver finished work. On approach we could see the cache, did not need to look to hard for it.
While I was filling in the log, OMG there was an exploded satellite falling from the sky, we were ducking and diving from it so we didn't get hit by any of the bits, they were all different sizes, coming from all directions.
We managed to get the signed and back into the container, seal it back up, replace it, then make it a bit more covered. we then made it back to the vehicle and got out of there, with our life's in tact.
Thanks for this cache Rescue-201 you nearly needed to come and rescue us Lil Donna

Decided to go out and grab a few caches, change a blue face to a smiley and attempt the Friend Trail. Hopefully we would not get wet or blown away in the process.

Sitting at my computer during these Covid lockdowns, I am trying to catch up on a few logs that I haven't sent in yet.
Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late log, something I am notorious for. Thank you for adding to the adventure that is geocaching.
Thanks Rescue-201 (F=72 H=44) for the cache.

Another wonderful day in the Great Outdoors, except this time I was up early and drove a couple of hundred kilometres to an area that I have hardly touched in my geocaching life.
There were two main Power Trails that I hoped to conquer this weekend and this cache was on one of them.
I was thrilled to experience as much success as I did. There was a wide variety of caches during the day, one causing me to chicken out, and a big challenge in terrain with some that caused me to DNF one. That brought my total of DNFs for the day to 2 as I think one may have gone missing earlier in the day.
I loved the birdlife, but I don't think the choughs were too chuffed with my presence on occasions.
Some of the early caches in the RGGT series are in need of repairs as the plastic has cracked.
Many thanks to all the cachers involved in laying this trail for our enjoyment. A great way to get people to visit your lovely city. Also to the Drovers for your incredible trail. I love the variety of hides and containers. Apologies for mass logging, but I think I achieved 93 finds today. (have booked into a motel in order to try for some more finds tomorrow!)
II will note on individual caches if I took something or left something.

Hi there Rescue-201.
We found your cache **"WWGC (OLD)"** today. (This makes our find count 17974).
Today we headed out from Wagga so we could attempt the "Friends"series - but we also had to find this one. As it's not part of the series it deserves a finely crafted log, not one of the crappy cut-n-paste ones that usually are associated with power trails.
###Thanks for not placing an eclipse tin or a 200ml Sistema here. Once upon a time caches seemed to be "regular" sized, and well stocked with goodies for kids to swap. Nowadays it seems like every other cache is small and devoid anything to induce children to enjoy the hunt. It made us feel really good to find this cache in a "special" place.###
We found 37 caches today & DNF'd 0. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container looks like it has been chewed by an animal, and it is split.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.
