Thanks Fredd01 for this cache. We came this morning and decided wed better try again this afternoon. Bdp had a great tott. Signed as the Roos!
We looked and looked this morning at high tide and with high winds. Poked everything so we though.A bit of wading which was cold!Hmm. Gave up and headed for the Suduko puzzles. 2nd attempt success!Much easier at lower tide levels. We were armed with multiple TOTT that were mentioned in other logs and even duct tape. Was easily located and retrieved. With the wind we were careful not to lose the log.Signed as The Roos. Gets another fav!Tftc
We are on a caravanning trip around Australia seeing the sights and finding a few caches along the way. We called into lakes entrance and were deciding what to do as it was forecast for rain potentially heavy rain. We decided to walk out (were going to bike but information guy said it was a walking track) to the entrance and prepare to get wet and hopefully will beat the worst of the rain. We started walking in a bit if showers and luckily after 1/2 hour it had stopped. We grabbed this cache on the return from the entrance. Armed with a torch and magnet we found the cache. But the magnet was not playing ball with us so another TOTT came out and we manged to get this cache. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache here for us to find.
The second time was the charm. A torch proved useful in locating the little blighter. Slightly harder to extract as it had been place in with the magnet side away. But got it done.TFTC Brad and Janet are on another epic trip. This time across South Australia to Broken Hill. Then through central and Northern NSW and up into Qld where we will be picking up a new hybrid house-on-wheels. Then we will head south down through more of NSW via Sydney to catch up with B2. Then further south until we get into Victoria from where we will head back into South Australia. Along the way we will grab caches of opportunity.
We arrive to Lake entrance not expecting the weather to be so cold. We brought our bikes to explore the island and gather caches along the way.TFTC
The planets aligned, the radar was clear and I had itchy feet. I left home base in the mountains to see the sea and seek a few caches and complete a few missions at Lakes - glad I ventured here and glad I read the attributes first - the pelican seat grabbed my attention too. TFTC and the FUN.
Sneaky indeed! After fabulous breakfast in Metung, picked up a few caches on way to Lakes Entrance to do the walk. Simply stunning weather to out caching in such a lovely area. Thanks for placing this cache GreyNomads and to Freddo1 for ongoing maintenance. Regards, kbucky
I went for a morning walk but left deflated after not finding it. I thought I knew where it would be but it wasnt there. I came back later in the day to find to find a little sucker exactly where I was looking, and looking, and looking in the first place, Durr TFTC.
Came by Lakes entrance as a night stay on my trip from Sydney to Melbourne. Mostly looking to see new things and chase other ALs and caches. Well this is a nice place TFTC!
New log in place. YES - my nearby TOTT has gone missing. I'm trying to work something else out but not having much luck. PLEASE byo magnetic retriever TOTT OR something with a small hook that will gently help the tiny cache to appear from it's hidey spot (e.g. a slim crochet hook or paper clip with a hook) Happy caching everyone.
Hello Fredd01 thank you for the cacheThis evening I went for a walk to find this cache of yours.I was lucky the tide was just getting to the base of the pylon so I didn't have to get wet.The cache was easily retrieved with the tools I had.The logbook is full but did find some where to put my mark.I found this cache during our Newcastle 2024 trip to see the grandchildren.Found on Monday, 08 April 2024 at 1809**TFTC**
Will it rain or wont it? Anyway found this one. Push on!! Tricky sucker to extract. Of course we carry magnets!! BN. SOS. BDTNFAEAWSN. Found on the Mega Capital Geobash coastal loop via Adelaide - Barrington - coast to Mexico City loop. A lot of caches and white line fever was sweated out. Thanks Fredd01 and clear skies from TeamAstro. Cache the planet! Some logs signed as TAD as teamed up with Tenkae and Deanside for additional fun. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Sneaky little critter! But ecstatic to find itCaching around on the road trip that encompasses Barrington Tops, Sydney, the Easter Geobash Mega in Canberra then the return via who knows where to homeThanks Fredd01 for contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy.
Making our way back to Melbourne after attending the Mega in Canberra. Weve decided to spend a few days in Lakes entrance and found this cache quite easily. Luckily had a TOTT in our caching bag. TFTC!
Team effort for this one. Had our own TOTT so was able to retrieve pretty quickly. Little fingers initially made it a bit harder but all good. Thanks
Found the cache reasonably quickly but like many others, couldnt find the nearby TOTT. We tried a few different things to try and ease it out of its hidey hole, but to no avail. Then it dawned on me. Mr ATLH wears a magnetic bracelet . We had the container in hand two seconds later. Found a vacant spot to put our abbreviatied moniker and secured it back in place.
On a road trip to attend Capital Geobash Mega and see many different sights along the way. Today we had a big day walking and taking in some lovely areas. Aperfect day to wander over here. Cache was quickly found. Didnt see the bolt but we made do. Thanks Fredd01 for creating for us all to enjoy. This walk bridge is the only bridge for miles connecting lakes entrance to the main beach, so the bridge was full of muggles on a long weekend. Finding a micro here wasnt easy until I spotted a (few) potential hides and systematically searched every spot until I stumbled on the cache. It was small but the find was rewarding. Tftc
Nach einer abenteuerlichen Minigolf Runde noch diesen hervorgefischt, leider war das Tool wieder nicht auffindbar... zum Glck war gerade Ebbe
On holidays at Lakes Entrance, what a beautiful place! Was about to give up but glanced in the right place. Didn't see the provided tool but found something that would work on the sand.
TFTC and it was a nice walk across the bridge. Mr Muggle found the cache for me and for the life of us we could note find the TOTT. I have a TOTT that is needed in my car back in the Hunter Valley but not in our towing car. Must put a bag of items I might need on the road in our towing car and listen to Mr Muggle complaining. I shouldnt say too much about Mr Muggle as he found something and retrieved the cache for me. I signed it T9. A favourite from me.
Still road tripping the east and caching too with Jack and Purrfect Di. Down closer to sea level now! A neat little cache hide, didn't find the tool but managed to use one of our own to do the retrieval and sign the log roll. Thank you Fredd01 for this cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance ---------------- ----------------------In a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and solid caches falling from trees - - - a cache a day keeps us agile... sort of --------Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp ) Work gets in the way - and some may take longer to log than others due to mixed technology and need for sleep! The skill and talent of some Zenior Zombies helps, and maybe a spot of luck too [:o)]----------Cache carefully and make sure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on Clean as you go and cache the countryside Big thanks to those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas, in nice safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun for all Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!! Maybe not though - as someone actually did read to the end and alerted me to just a project GC badge that requires long logs [:o)] Well at least it's not as bad as finding a mint tin! Did you get that... stop putting out rusty mint tins, just stop it, now!!! C'est fini... For now... ... until tomorrow! Viva Mexicana ! Nice walk on the beach but very windy. Perfect time to find this cache with not much muggles around in the morning. Found it and good hide. Thanks Fredd01 for bringing me here and the cache
We had a quick look the other day and we were determined to return. Happy to say we found the cache. I retrieved it with the handle of the fork I used for lunch! TFTC
Didnt have a pen but definitely one of my favourite geocaches ever TFTC ( photo for proof )
Found returning from our recent trip north and catching upThis is a very good cache as it uses a place of concealment that is there for the taking and retrieval tool provided was also a great idea Favourite from meTFTC
TFTC JENPETEH, The H,s , South Africans living in Tassie GeoCaching our way around Australia and loving it Gets a from us.
Down for an overnighter and needed to fill in some time. J1 was busy working while the others were busy having all the fun. A round of mini golf nearby with some beach play to follow and of course a find or 2. TFTCCJJACH

Volgende stop langs de kust is Lakes Entrance. Even na zo'n lange zit de benen strekken en uiteraard ook wat cachen! The North Arm Series: Lakes Entrance Footbridge was cache nr 6712 om 16:19.
TFTC. (Translation later.)
I think someone may have visited before me as I followed in someones footsteps. Found the cache easily enough, now for the extraction tool? Yep found that too but it wasnt working, I didnt want to make it impossible to extract so I almost gave up. Walking away I saw some rubbish that might help as an extraction tool and it worked. Cache in hand and log signed. I used the original extraction tool to test its operation and worked out the cache must be returned facing a certain way for the extraction tool to work. Please be mindful of this when returning the cache. Tftc
Was a bit stuck and needed some encouragement to be extracted. Got it in the end
We needed a tool to jiggle it into position before extraction was possible . Loved finally getting this one!
Found with PapaGrouch. Spotted the tool and looked for the cache nearby but no luck. Then looked behind where the tool was and there was the cache. Had to use my own TOTT to retrieve the cache. TFTC
Found en route to the BeachIn the rainWith a fire in the distanceGeOBug found this and extracted with my TOTTsDidnt know I needed them
#1754I was down in Lakes in January 2019, but that was a whole lifetime ago. I had hoped to be able to collect this cache but my muggle (now ex) husband wasnt interested in stopping so I begrudgingly had to walk passed it without a smily. But today I am here with my adorable Welder and our kids. Nice to be able to finally collect and grab this big fat yellow smily with Ge0Bug , Ge0_Ninja and two Welder minis. ----------------------------------------------------------Voting is also now open for the 2022 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards. Thx for the cache. Found it on our way to the beach. In the log we put down team Heymisswelder 6-Heymissjo -The Welder -Ge0_Ninja- Dark Minion - Dallas
Excited to be on a family holiday and caching with my family, my Mum heymissjo, plus The Welder, Ge0Bug, Dark minion and Dallas. Thanks for the cache
Got the location quickly enough, but trying to retrieve the cache was a different challenge. Out caching with TubeLords today around east Gippsland. TFTC
This cache had me in a tizzzyy for a bit. I kept looking in the wrong spots until I finally saw it. Thankfully I had a must carry TOTT in the backpack
First full day in Lakes Entrance for our family Father's Day weekend away. After finishing Parkrun and breakfast it was time for a family walk and grab some geocaches. Of course we went for the foot bridge and Entrance as the destination.
Found all geocaches without too much trouble, but the highlight was definitely sitting and watching the seals at the entrance. The young ones were playing together and would sometimes stop to star up at us. Some of the older ones enjoyed surfing on the wakes of the boats coming in.
Son2 found this one pretty quickly. The bolt didn't help, but I had come prepared with some tools and a gripping tool worked really well.
Thanks for the cache Fredd 01

We have been out to Gelantipy to visit friends and deliver a caravan.
Travelling with +Wife and EveTheStaffy, we decided to spend a few days in Lakes Entrance on our way home.
Using geocaching as our guide, this is one of the places that we visited.
A nice quick find on a shiny cache.
Thank you for placing this cache and highlighting the area.
Although the **** was found as we arrived, it didn't really help us at all.
The hitch-hiker's guide suggests that you always carry a towel. (Which would have come in handy today. 25° I was tempted to take a dip.)
The Geocacher's Guide To The Galaxy recommends always carrying a pen.
We generally stamp logs unless they are nanos.
When disassembled, the ink tube has many uses.
Today, it was put to good use as a retrieval tool.

Very well done down here in Lakes entrance. As we are from Shepparton area doing some Geocaching saw the man of favourites on this one could not miss it have to come and see what the bus was about. How does a little bit positive for a minute little bit more exploring bingo found the money little bit hard as the magnet wouldn’t work because it was put him back to front found the cable tie which made it a little bit easier to get out. Thank you for a great location.
Magnet bolt was no use but I found a cable tie to help dislodge it gently. Left it nearby in case anyone else needs it Nice sneaky hide TFTC
Tool did not work. Had been pushed in too far. Had to use another took to get it out. Arm of my specs. But at last cache in hand. Tftc
A teeny tiny nano is now in place. This will allow the cache to be active. You will need to use the 'tool' that is around a metre away to retrieve the nano from its hidey hole. PLEASE push it back in, as far as you can, so that it doesn't go missing too quickly.
On a maintenance run after a previous DNF to find that the cache has gone missing. Replacement coming soon
Out this way to complete 'North Arm Series - The Entrance' but had to stop and find this one first since we were passing by.
The wind was strong and being under the bridge brought me not further protection from the bitter wind as I hunted for this cache. Found the tool we needed.......but where was the cache that needed extraction with this tool? After a good search we returned the tool and decided to try again on our way back.

Think we found the bolt to help get the cache out yet couldn’t find anything similar to the cache description for log book retrieval- had to abandon search as the tide was on the higher side and feet got too cold to keep going. Will have to come back another time with yummy az eats..
What a great cache. The hint helped to get it out. Be patient and it will come out slowly. TFTC
Awesome cache. Had to use tweezers to the it out the last bit. You don’t need a magnet but having one would make it easier
Tftc! We attempted this cache on our previous visit to the area in 2016 and were unsuccessful in finding it so we were pleased to find the cache this morning. Great hide.
A great little cache. Well thought out. Thanks for bringing me across the bridge. Well worth the walk
Great little hide. Had some handy little treasure hunters fingers to help get the log out. Beautiful day for it. TFTC
TFTC. First find in Australia. Sorry no pen as wasn’t intending to cache. Photo attached as evidence but hopefully no spoilers.

What a nice day to cross the bridge. Hold on, or l will blow off. Got to GZ with no problems. Where to look. Very clever and interesting idea. Thanks for placing the cache.
We were down here with Carkisser and JSando a few years ago and were sure we got this. Dunno whether we forgot to log it or didn't actually find it but we did this time.
Had great fun at this one … I first found something relevant which seemed so out of place but didn’t hold the cache … had it in hand within five minutes though.
Another cache that last time Bunadoorian and I were here was very elusive to us. Today I walked straight up to it. It definifitely helps not being a public holiday or being very hot! I loved the method of retrieval. I also needed date placed for a challenge I am working towards. TFTC and for bringing us here Fredd01
Grub62 was the finder of this cache. I was able to stand back and watch for muggles while Grub62 did the needful. A successful team effort. TFTC.
Down lake entrance for the week with wife and Choo in tow awesome cache didn’t have a pen as per usual tftc first of many here we hope
Definitely a fav point for this one. A quick easy find after we did the Lakes Entrance parkrun along the foreshore. Tftc
