Sounds like this one is out of bounds for a while. I'll see what I can do to replace and relocate.
I think that the last log is correct in the area being fenced off. I found the place where I believed the cache to be but could only look through the fence and imagine the find.
SideandHeek it might be worth checking out if it is now fenced off and relocating if it is. TFTH.

I originally grabbed the clues to this cache back in December 2010, but at the time there were too many people about to attempt a search. The area was deserted today, so a nice quick find was made. Luckily for me, the cache was the first thing I placed my hand on.
Unfortunately, fairly soon this cache will be inaccessible as the final location is being fenced off, permanently. The cache owner might want to relocate the final waypoint.
Thanks SIDEandHEEK.

CH1 - Nice sunny day for a spot of geocaching with 'KLCED'... Reasonably easy find, with help of hint.
4W had the numbers ready to go, he knows this area like the back of his hand. I, on the other hand, felt like a lost little boy. A lost little boy with a cache in his hand. Caching makes everything better. TFTC SIDEandHEEK.
This part of the world was my backyard a couple of decades ago, but it hasn't changed all that much. A bit of a scout on googlemaps and OSM and we were set. TigerMuffin was busy making lame Dad jokes while I was keeping a look out for oncoming cars.
The cache (that's what we were there for) was where it was supposed to be, the clue suggested a particular number, but when you get there, it looks like a giant has pushed the numbered item out of place, but it was all good.
Nearly muggled but we only made eye contact with the dog not the owner.

Final coordinates worked out easily, good facilities for a community centre.
Thanks for the cache SIDEandHEEK
After today I have found caches on 184 days out of 366, so this means i'm now 'over' halfway!

heading towards home there was time for one last one as it was right on the route and a quick find was made thanks to the count
Mr Cooper was the one with the courage to put his hand in to get the cache! Nice old station. Great to see it being put to such good use. TFTC
This was a great place to explore. Lots of people walking their dogs and nice history with the railway station. Found quickly with the clue. Took Army Figure, left Zebra. Cheers.
Found by Reckhi and Chriswandering. Took doll, left bassoon reed. Wouldn't have found it without the hint. TFTH
Found the first sign, didn't follow it up any further. Lovely spot, such a shame that these old stations are no longer used. [8)]
Out for a cache run around Stirling and Aldgate on a beautiful public holiday. TFTC.
Had too come back as the were wedding photos in progress..
Didnt take long too find when I came back.
Took Berbula TB Left Koala

Nice find on a glorious cool sunny day.
Introduced new TB Berbulu at the station platform for his long voyage, waiting for a train.
Took spider.

Slowly nabbing these station caches - it's my father's fault I find them so interesting. Those I travelled with on the Sunny Side Up adventure can also vouch that I still count the carriages. It's probably how I learned to count in the first place.
My last find for the day, on a lovely drive through the hills from Goolwa. A still had a couple of finds to go, but for me this was a nice way to round out the day.
Interesting location, and just had to follow the hint and we soon had the cache in hand.

Easy two step find. Left trackable. Nice spot. Found on our wedding anniversary and had nice meal at the Stirling Hotel.
We had a great day of caching with friends rosamapops and butterfly jen and this was one we targetted. We collected the info we needed and we soon heading to gz. Thanks sideandheek
Mrs Chippyroo took her Mum and Dad out for a coffee at The coffee shop then on for a spot of caching. Nice quick find, glad we could see the cache through the cracks as I hate putting my hand in strange places! TFTC
Found just before the batteries on the GPSr died. Don't you hate that?
Took Totness Trekker TB
Left White ant.

Last for the morning on our very time limited trip around the area .

Didn't take long to get co-ordinates to GZ, but needed the clue to find the cache .
Took GC. Left Totnes Trecker TB. SL.
Thanks again SIDE and HEEK.

A nice, simple multi to find when short of time on our way down to the Deep South. Took a bit of fumbling before Mr O shoved his head in and found it the old-fashioned way (by eyesight!). Dropped in a GC. TFTC.
Found it without difficult.
Interesting about history over train here from time to time.
Thanks for bring me here and fun multi cache.

We would never have found this without the hint [:o]. There’s just too much rubbish to go blindly feeling around in it. Other than that, this is a great cache in a nice little setting (generally ). No swaps, cheers
Found this one, using the photo of the old sign (obviously not the current sign which id definitely a new replacement).
A great place to hide a cache. TNLNSL. TFTC.

Re-visited the area after viewing the photo provided to re-check the sign. The sign appears still to be different (even though I originally misunderstood what the sign was going to be like) and would not give the co-ordinates. The photo gave the correct location of the cache. Tnlnsl. Thanks for the photo and cache.
Arrived at the posted co-ordinates, no sign except a small one for the community "Hut". Looked on all sides with only the ALDGATE sign on the railroad remaining. Apparently removed since the last login in April this year. May need re jigging. Regards.
Disabling listing until I can check it out. I have attached a photo of the sign you are looking for, you can clearly see it from the road looking at the old station building. Feel free to use this image to get the information required to find the cache. If the next person to check out this cache informs me the sign is definitely gone I'll re-jig the clues, and remove the attached image.
Never met my Grandfather, but when young, my parents often drove up to Aldgate and past the old Station Master's home, where he last lived, being the station master in the 50s. My Mum used to bring my sister up here to visit catching the train from Henley Beach, and I've seen a few pictures of my Grandparents and Aunt sitting out by the station. We also often visited the house across the road with their magnificent garden, and the lane way across from the station is a lovely little walk.
Since we were nearby finding another cache, I decided to stop and show Bek and Cal some family history and find this cache. They enjoyed looking through the windows of the numerous buildings still present.
Cache quickly found after Bek and Cal both did the counting, and we passed our trackables through.
Thanks for bringing us here SIDEandHEEK
Cheers

Yesterday we were looking for a cache at a library that used to be a station on the Yorke peninsular, today a community centre. No-one around much today so no problems hunting and find the cache.

Nice easy find while in Aldgate this morning. A train went past right before we grabbed the cache, which provided excellent cover while some people tended to the gardens on the other side. Love it when timing works out like that. TNLNSL.
Found early in the morning with no one around although had to wait for a train. Followed the instructions and bingo had the cache in hand. Left a tb. Thx SideandHeek for the cache.
A quick multi before lunch at the Aldgate Hotel. The only way to find this cache is to stick your head in!
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
For some reason I just love the old picture of those black steam trains.

Found on an Adelaide Cup run. I reached for it, like the hint said to, but only found broken glass. I resorted to sticking my head in, and found it had crept across one.
Nice afternoon driving in the hills. Nice spot to stop and wander around while finding this cache at the old railway station.
Hint was very helpful in the end

Accompanied by Everlasting. It took us a while to work out the multi but we managed to get the right answers. The hint made sense when we arrived there. Found it nice and easy.
Thanks SIDEandHEEK for the cache.
Thanks SIDEandHEEK for the cache.
Accompanied with Lava12, Finally work out the multi with help. Nice hidden place. SL. Thanks SIDEandHEEK for organising the cache and hunt.
Soon had the co ords and around to GZ. Managed to get the head in far enough to see the top of the cache. TFTC
Quickly collected the clues and made our way around to gz. Was feeling rather hesitant about reaching for the cache so used a camera to confirm its position and that there was nothing else nasty lurking there before going for the grab. There is quite a lot of rubbish near gz.
Thanks Side and Heek for a nice little multi.

Took along Newbie for her first geocache, and it turned out to be a good choice. Neglected to bring a pen for the clues, but the iPhone came to the rescue as always (we both lacked the capacity to remember 6 numbers). Newbie was very excited to open her first cache, but we suspect the silica gel packets may be breeding out of control. Fortunately summer weather should reduce their water supply enough to cause a population crash before things get out of hand. TNLN TFTC.
This was a hive of activity when I came first time. Dropped in early Sunday morning to make the retreival. TFTC TN L: Doll keyring
You want me to stick my hand where? Oh well, had faith in the hint, and sure enough, there was the cache. If I was being picky, I;d say that this station is actually still being used.. although not quite in it's original capacity.
TNLN - Thanks SideandHeek!

What a lovely station. Even has a meeting area that could be used for a mini event. Cute. Are you sure it is disused [?] Sort of looked worn out though.
Clear skies from TeamAstro.
Love that clue. Collected the details. Did the math and the cache was found quickly. Nice station. Liked the house across the road too.
Really enjoyed this multi. Searched on the wrong side of the structure at first, then the satloc improved and indicated the spot to the nearest metre. Dropped off a Green Jeep TB. Thanks SIDEandHEEK.
Found at 10:50 on the way home from a late shift at work. Quick find as the night train rumbled past. Took: Jeep TB, Left x2 coins, SL. TFTC
Did the sums quickly, then a quick trot across the tracks, looking both ways of course!!
Found 'Sumbios' swaggie inside amongst the heap of silica sachets.
Thanks

Looking back through my logs I realised I neglected to log this one and so close to home. I remember vividly catching a red hen from here on school excursions. Thanks for the cache Mr B.
Due to a small micalculation we made this multi far more difficult than was warranted. Eventually after a wild goose chase and some recalculation we realised the cache was right next to where we had parked in the first place. Not to worry - we had fun! I love the old station and it is great that the community is getting some benefit out of it. Thankyou for the cache.

BTW there is no pencil in the cache.

Was heading to the Hills for some work duties and if I went past some caches on the way - well they had to be found. It was getting to the end of the dayso had trouble counting line 2 and 3 but got there in the end. TFTC.
An early evening visit. sitting there I could feel the romance of an era past. Waiting for a train.

Community Centre was in use again, and if we'd been 30 seconds later we would have been sprung getting the clues. But by the time the patrons were exiting we were halfway to the cache. Nice hide this one, I enjoyed it, especially getting SILVER!
If only I had got the clues and then to the GZ before the freight train came through I would have had a chance. It is muggle central today with the community centre in use.
Aldgate station is also where my late Grandfather was the station master in the 50s.
Greatly look forward to logging this cache one day.
