Made a short walk around our Motel and found this nice PlaceThanks for showingTftc
Gosh, this was a nedle in a hay stack! But we prevailed and found it.We may or may not have had photos taken of us by a local muggle who was out gardening
Up from the deep South for a wedding, so out exploring the area. Nicely timed for the Cosmic Quest. A quick find here, although there are plenty of hint items... And a strawberry plant growing nearby too. Thanks for the cache brass02# 3860 26 July 2024 12:32 pm
We were in Matamata to watch one of the young rattll's play football (and look after her 'mini me' while she did so). After the game was finished, and nanna duties were completed, we grabbed some local caches before heading home. This was interesting little road (we had to convince ourselves it was a road).Thankfully it didn't take very long to find the cache, thanks to some pretty good co ords. Thanks for putting this here
Another random night mission with Reschedule. This time we decided to head to Matamata where we had a few new caches, and some older ones we had missed.Reschedule had been here previously, but wasn't much help on where this was located. So I looked all over, turned over many stones, and eventually the cache was spotted. Always a bit trickier to do these at night, especially with 1 hand holding a torch. TFTC
Thank you Brass02 for a amazingly good hide in a beautiful place that tricked us.
My first proper geocache on our holiday to NZ. A morning walk from our accommodation to here. Found after searching a few possibilities. Cache in great condition. Tftc
We are on a trip in New Zealand. A wonderful country with a lot of (old )caches. There are too many caches so we limit ourselves to the (old) gems or where we happen to make a stop. We found and signed this cache in good condition. brass02, thank you for this cache, regards xizat-NL. Take care, this hobby can develop to an addiction.
Second cache in a row I've found today where the cache has been left out in the open! Have hid this better now and ready to be searched for again. Thanks for the cache
Great cache. GPS was a couple of metres off. Have dropped a trackable collected in Pukekohe. Please keep it travelling
we had some time in Matamata before visiting Hobbiton. So we did a short walk on the heritage walk and could find this cache.TFTC
Out and about around Matamata today with a brand new geocacher (insert new geocache handle here).... He's so shiny and new!Our 5th cache of the day in this rather interesting "drive thru" park. It almost felt dodgy pulling into this "street".... But you're not allowed to drive in parks.... Turns out you can, right here! Changing this Sunday stroll into a quick park'n'grab. Nice quick find by my new geocaching buddy. (insert geocache handle from above).TNLNSL Thanks brass02
Im sure the creator of this one was laughing when they wrote the clue. A fun hunt. Thankyou for the cache
Day 13 on our holiday in New Zealand. Today we are in the area and surrounding area of Rotorua. We also visited this tradi, found it, and signed the logbook.

Yes very good, thankfully didn't have to search for to long before finding this one, nice hide cheers
Wasn't too hard to find. We were looking forward to finding the butterfly knick knack to trade for an owl knick Knack but sadly it was taken and not swapped out with another item.
Easy to find. We were looking forward to finding the butterfly trinket to trade for an owl trinket, but someone had taken it and not replaced it with another item, my daughter was disappointed. Thanks cache owner.
A glorious day for caching in Matamata! All quiet at GZ, took a hunt to find. All good, tftc and Merry Xmas!
Nothing like turning up in a 7m bus trying to look inconspicuous. I could feel the lace curtains twitching all around. Luckily I was hidden from most to sign the log.
Found with trayc.g on day 6 of our family holiday. Today is the day we head to The Shires Rest for a tour of Hobbiton. Can’t wait!

When we turned up we thought EEEKKK so many rocks but it only took us a couple of mins and we had unearthed the cache and approx 1 million ants and their eggs. Nice sized cache too! TFTC
Found it with DopeyKiwi while taking a break away from all the stress of working through life’s end paperwork and plans while emotionally processing bereavement. Thank you for a focal point to get out in the sun and fresh air. Found TB6CDN7 and collected with the intention to relocate it when I head home. Will add an appropriate goal-oriented photo when we get one (or two or few).

The boys decided to leave a little swapping toy in it, in case another kid comes along
In town for a couple of nights. We enjoyed our little drive along this trail. But apparently our visit coincided with dog walking time as we had to avoid alot of dogwalking muggles. Our efforts at looking inconspicuous were unsuccessful as one dog walking couple asked if we were geocaching.
Didnt take long to find the relevant rock. Thanks for the cache.

I’ve been looking after this cache for years with my gran, and now I have my own account
In the area for an orienteering event, so thought I would try and grab a few caches. Had never been for a drive through this park before. A nicely hidden cache.
After visiting Hobbiton this morning I met up with LNM1961 and started caching. This is the first one found. A very peaceful area. TFTC blacksam_za.
With Ethness checking out some of the local Matamata caches. We are up here to attend a family birthday party tomorrow, so being a lovely day can enjoy caching. This is a lovely park area, lots of small breed dogs are enjoying the park.
Easy park and grab on this beautiful autumn day. Never knew these walks were here. TFTC!
Our family holiday has come to an end and we are on our way home so time to stop along the way.
My heart sank a little when I saw the hint and the area but no need to worry it was easy. No paper in the container so have added some.
Thanks for the cache.
