This morning, I was able to escape for a few hours and took a drive along Mount Nebo Road with the objective of finding a few more creative and well-constructed geocaches hidden by wingaap. After finding a few, I parked at the top of Duck Creek Track, and made the descent down, hoping to find a few locations that Indiana Co had visited. A nice walk around Mount Arum Gold Mine area, and the creek nearby was quite tranquil, before I ran out of time and needed to ascend back to the car. I made a few final stops along Mount Nebo Road as I returned back home.
Concerned about a few steep hill faces, I followed a longer way around the creek to this location, and then realised that it was only about 10 m back to the main track. However, it give me the right angle in spotting this geocache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and still sufficient logbook space for future visitors. Thanks wingaap for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. Despite this geocache getting archived, I'm hopeful that perhaps it can be re-published to continue its life!

Our son is an electrician so thankfully he wasn’t with us to comment on the wiring job. With all the health and safety prattle that is required these days I wonder whether you could get this one over the line.
I think a sparky might be required in the near future because I dragged out my espresso machine with me on the hike today. I plugged it in and nothing happened so it meant I had to suck on dry coffee grinds. Favourite point added for the fun. tftc

Heading back into this bushland today, but starting from a new location so I could grab this cache. Interesting idea for a hide. TFTC!
Haha. I nearly missed it. I nearly jumped in the dry creek, but lucky I found it before I had a dry swim
Thank you so much for your awesome caches and amazing art.

After morning tea at the top of this track, I set off for the next 5km section. First stop: power. Found. TFTC
Another beautiful cache by wingaap. My wife has wished for a few of these in her time! TFTC!
Out for an Earthcache today and had to walk right past these. Such a fun little find. I’ve found a few out here before so it’s nice to collect a few more.
2nd stop of the afternoon and another awesome cache. Fav point for the story (and the hide) as this is the same dilemma I am having convincing the kids (and geowife) to start doing some camping ourselves. Plus it is an awesome idea for a cache. Great location to which would be made better only if the nearby creek had some water in it. Thanks for the effort in creating and placing this cache.
I have had the caches in this little pocket of bushland on my "To Do" list for many years now and after I saw that 1MinniMoo had taken a stroll to Radnoski35 during the week I was triggered into action. I mentioned my plans to my Son and we soon had a family group of 10 interested.
Today we all headed off and after missing the parking spot on the way up as we were distracted by the radar cop up a bit further. We continued on to Bellbird Park where it was decided that my Son and I would return to do the walk while rest stayed at Bellbird Park and did some shorter walks around there.
We arrived back at the parking spot (the radar cop was still there) and headed off to do a loop of 8 caches which took us just over 3 hours.
This was the first on the list (after showing K8s K9 to my Son on the way past). I had an idea what I was looking for and it didn't disappoint me.

Today was a walk to complete an epic cache in the area and to do a few along the way, this was one. An interesting cache, a quick find and log sign and it was on my way.
Thank you for your unique cache designs, always give me a grin when I find them. However as an electrician I'm not sure that this is renewable energy or meets code lol
This cache was dry and no maintenance required.

Another find today on my adventure around the reservoir. A beautiful little stream running just below this cache.
Love love love this one. Very clever.
Left a TB I have had for too long.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache wingaap, another fav from me.

This was cache 2 of 5 along this track, and 7 of 10 for the day.
Yet another stunning Wingaap cache . It was a great walk today, punctuated by a few creative caches and some spider webs to the face! There is nothing better to lift the spirits than a bush walk, some fresh air, exercise, and a great cache.
This one was a relatively easy find - though I wish it actually worked! By this stage of the day, I could have used a bit more power . I quickly signed the log and returned as found. Cache and log are in great condition.

We continued our walk along the Firetrail, and by this time we had been out in the bush for a number of hours and, as always after some kilometres, our phones were beginning to run out of battery charge. Thank goodness for “ The Power of the Bush”! It definitely got us out of a pickle and after spending a few minutes recharging our worn out bodies as well, we continued onwards and upwards heading towards the road where we then turned right and followed the Firetrail loop back to the Ennogera Reservoir. All in all it was a 10 K walk, and really enjoyable. We had a heavy downpour of rain along the way, saw a couple of goannas, lots of toads and one koala which was a definite highlight!
A favourite added!
Thanks Wingaap

We live in such technologically dependent times, so glad to see nature evolve with us, catering to our most important needs
We were wondering what this one was. Another clever construction. I hope this one convinced Eyag to go camping.
TFTC wingaap. Great cache.

Out in the area with E_Smiley picking up a few highly recommended caches that have been on our to-do list for quite some time. Clever little setup, well done CO, another favorite point from me.

On a day off, I had some time to chase some high FP caches for Cache Carnival
We continued our walk from K9 and before long we left the track towards this one.
Love this creative cache. We weren’t sure what to expect here (given the name) but we weren’t disappointed. Another Fav Point from us.
Time this cache had a visitor too.
Thanks heaps wingaap for this cache and adding more fun to our walk.

Kept pushing on from K9 to this one, and now, looking at the map, I should have kept going for a couple more. Loved the construction of this one; a classic Dad joke. TFTC
I know I should have packet the UK/Australian adaptor, I could have charged the GPS. TFTC
Out caching with the Tough Mothers (Jemillalucy, Bennyboppers and Lisylou), Slow Puncture, Dahumbug, Walandor, Minniemoo and her son and K8nCo. We were on a mission to do the Indiana Jones multi cache and for the CO to check on the waypoints. While we were out and about I decided to do this cache. Cool cache! TFTC!
While I was standing there trying to work out if I needed to be here or over there I looked down. Oh that looks like it could be a hiding place for a cache. And yes there was the cache. More looking less thinking next time. I loved this cache construction. TFTC.
Out for the day with nikid1 having a stroll through this lovely piece of bush. We love camping & have been on some great trips to far flung places of Australia. I'm sure this spot & amenities would change Eyag's mind!
Great idea for a cache container.

Friday. Mrs SP was out on my own today in the bush (as you do when it is blazingly hot and humid). This cache was found in very good order and log book was fine too. Loved the wonderful idea for the cache container! Very clever indeed . Took some pics to show geo-hubby later tonight of the container and the surrounding bush which was beautiful whilst the storm was going on around me.
This was the 5th of 11 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***wingaap***, for showing us this place.

Ha could charge my phone here, but who wants to wait an hour or so when there are unfound geocaches out there. Tftc
Dora the Explorer! and I were on our way to the Mount Arum Earth Cache and as she had found the caches previously along this trail, she allowed me to find them and grab a few smileys on the way.
This cache was found and I was impressed with the container.
The log was signed and returned to the cache and the cache replaced exactly as found.
All is good with this cache.

YAY for Wednesday, when I can steal 1MinnieMoo away to create a couple of smileys. Today we were on a mission to the Mount Arum Gold Mine, there was still no first to find takers for this new EC. Along the way 1MM was happy to stop so I could find the few that she had already found. It didn't take long to have this beasty in hand.
Thanks for the cache wingaap

Came here cross country from Bush Shower - probably should have taken the track/road... Oh well...
No problems spotting this - as always Wingaap - love the container!

I went one way, the geokids went another and they found it first! Great cache!
Down from Toowoomba with a hitlist of caches composed by Kestal. A very loooong list - she jokingly said we might need a weeks accommodation in Brisbane to complete...actually not too far off the truth really! The cache on her list was waaay down the bottom but thankfully I hadn't been down this track before so had a few extra bonus caches to collect. Very cool box. TFTC wingaap.

Having done the other Power cache recently, I knew what to expect here. I only wish o had an air conditioner to plug in.
The outer container was full of angry ants but the inner container was fine.

Lol. After scrabbling about in the bush, up and down the creek bed, and generally being made a fool of by the GPS, we found the cache exactly where we'd first gone bush! I must have almost stepped on it when I first passed!
Arch Monkey and I found this cache during an afternoon of geocaching on my birthday. It was so nice to get out into the Australian bush again after so long, and have a little walk as well. Thanks for the cache and the exercise!

We certainly understood this one once we found the cache:) Plenty of power to be found in this bush, while I was signing log geo-hubby was soon distracted by the word power and started acting the power he and geo-son will soon be seeing at the new Star Wars movie...

Was looking at my geocaching map for potential places to cache today on my day off. Northwest seemed like an attractive option - I haven't explored too far past Ashgrove and Mt Coot-Tha. As a bonus, it seemed like there were quite a few caches with quite a lot of favourite points. Decision made! I hiked the loop along the firebreaks and Duck Creek Rd. I have to say, the caches on this loop rivalled the McHoots series on the southside as my equal favourite caching experience in Brisbane!
Continuing down the track we were enjoying the shade the trees were providing as the temperatures were getting warmer. A nice quick find here. TFTC wingaap
Mrs. Herbz having spent the previous evening in the company of said Special Agent, felt it would be rude not to attempt this cache. Ahh yes, now we get it and agree wholeheartedly a few more of these in the bush would make camping a lot easier. TFTC wingaap and an FP from us for a neat idea.
After finding a couple of caches further along the track, I wandered to this one. I quickly spotted something that I didnt expect to find in the bush. Upon further investigation, I discovered the logbook. I added my name and returned everything to where I found it, before continuing on my way. TFTC
Found this quite easily - staring to understand wingaap's thinking and had an idea what to look for.
Not the bush I expected, but we still had a good connection. Great innovative cache!
Another fantastic container. Really enjoyed finding this one. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone! TFTC
An awesome sunny day for caching and Dawesy321, Genyo and I set off across town to the Enogerra reservoir and Mt Nebo areas.
Power to the peeps who venture along this lovely way! An easy find as the cache was out in the open just waiting to be found. Nice construction work on the unique container
On we rolled…

Ms Maddy, Genyo and I were caching in the area and found ourselves at GZ rather quickly. We were happy not having to go any further due to the walls of lantana. We found the cache rather quick. TFTC!
Continuing my journey back to where i parked and grabbing some more caches as i go. Another cleverly crafted cache found in good condition. Thanks for all your effort on these Mr. Wingaap.
A beautiful Brisbane morning to be out and about. Headed to Wingapp territory for a clean up of the outer edges of my 16km map.
Love these caches

hmmm.... the power of the bush...what to expect?? I wasn't sure, but as Wombles and I approached GZ I was musing about what it might be.... ah, of course! very clever...wasn't what I was expecting but it makes sense now I see it Col. Easy find, not far off the track which I was happy about too Signed the log...took a pic and replaced

So we decided to continue on rather than head back to car and made it somewhere near GZ but with numbers once again jumping. Then numbers started to behave a little nicer and we rounded the spot... And out came seriously audible laughing from me. 1MinnieMooJnr asked "what?" And came to see what cracked me up. Met with another laugh from her, and an "Oh My God" from 1GiantPanda. Thanks for some more bush humour Wingaap!

Hahaha very funny, and one of my favourites. I admire the effort that must have been put into this. It took us a while to find it as the coordinates were bouncing around on mum's phone, but after a while my mum happened to stumble across it. TFTC
Has it been attached to something before? Now it is resting in fine condition on the ground. Nice one, thanks.
Some days before the conference starts, I can explore some of the surroundings - to get my jetlag out and to see some of the other side of the earth! As I like to hike, I certainly look for green areas. d'Aguilar is accessible from the town, so the bus drives me up here.
The default tourist option is the araucaria walk, but after 300 meters I dislike the traffic jam of shouting kids, and happily I take a steeper route - part of the wingaap drive, I learned later. All of them are nice, some even more than that. I will distribute some favo's accordingly.

Eatmorchikin and I were continuing our stroll around the area, after making it most of the may to this cache after inadvertently bypassing Charlie, we had to make a quick turnaround to visit him before making our way back here. My GPSr was pointing me in an unlikely spot and we jumped down into the dry creek bed and strolled along it a bit before Eatmorchickin spotted exactly where we should be to find the prize. Names added to the log and our journey continued. TFTC
I had plugged this one into the GPS for a find today during a short walk in the bush. I soon switched on to what I needed to find! TFTC wingaap
Another one ticked off for Team Stealth - Peppa clanbeckett Rufus2fus abeck58 Blkthunder Stupert99. Might be almost time to call it a day. Left Pirate Treasure. Thanks for the cache.
Last find for this part of our day out with friends... tftc... left some American coin...
Today we went out for a walk in this area and came acros some very nice caches. This one was quickly found.
