Well that was a tricky one. Didnt read the description before I arrived. Luckily there were some natural tools available to assist. Looks like a beach volley comp is in here too so lots of muggles but was able to extract without too much attention
I attempted this one just over a year ago while waiting to pick up a hire car nearby but with muggles everywhere it wasn't going to happen. Out for a night time walk and a quick find and replace (but still a few night time muggles!). TFTC
First time in Australia and making my way to Gold Coast, which led me to the cache "The Green, The Gold and The Blue" (GC20GWD). The cache was easy to find, but I don't think it was where it was supposed to be, especially for the difficulty level. Someone must have misplaced it. Looking at the hint, it didn't quite match where we'd found it, so we tried to put it back where it belonged. The greatest challenge was getting it without anyone noticing. It was a nice day and there were lots of people around! Found with salfina. Thanks to Aussie Liahona for the cache and much love from San Francisco.
The festival is over and the crowd is gone. I hence found the combo cache including two logs with plenty of space to sign. Thanks!

Out for a walk on my last day here before heading back to NSW. A quick find and sign and we were on our way. Tftc
Found it while out on a late afternoon walk. Easily located but retrieval was very challenging. Eventually got it out, signed it and returned it to its hiding place. Tftc
I found it but couldnt extract it from its hideyhole without a piece of wire or similar extraction tool. If Im back this way again with something suitable for retrieval, Ill be able to sign the log. TFTC
Quick find near where we are visiting from the uk. Lovely spot. First in Queensland.

Quick easy find and extraction. The hardest part was braving the very cold wind. Thanks for the cache which has made my quick stay in the area complete. Cache is in fine condition!
Tftc. As we finally got out of our plane from proserpine and then drove to the Gold Coast for some fresh air, we stumbled across this cache. Nice one!

I knew I'd end up in a big shopping centre at some point during my stay at Surfers, and today was the day.The visit gave me an excuse to visit the nearby Kurrawa beach, which was deserted today because of the strong winds. That made the job of finding this cache and easy one and I was quickly onto the next.Thanks for another well placed hide Aussie Liahona.

Started a search and saw a suspicious looking item on the statue. Reviewed the previous logs and hint and sure enough this was the item I was looking for. Discreetly removed the geocache container and signed the log sheet with Mackay geocaching. Thanks for placing this geocache for our enjoyment log sheet signed and cage safely put back where it came from as per the hint. Exploring the strand area after having done some shopping this morning at the big shopping centre. After a brief search we saw the container and discreetly remove the container and sign the log l. Thanks for placing the due for our enjoyment.
A geocacher with 1 find found this and then the next geocacher with nearly 2000 finds couldn't find it. We thought it best to check and couldn't find it ourselves. We wondered if the newbie didn't know to replace it exactly where they found it and put it back somewhere else but couldn't find it anywhere else on the statue either. So annoyingly we've replaced it again and hope it will stay for much longer now. Please watch out for muggles and try to be stealthy. Cheers and happy caching!
We had a dig around, but came up empty handed. Time on the parking meter was running out, so we called it.
Down at the Gold Coast to attend a Simple Minds concert. With a bit of time up our sleeves prior to the gig, we set out to find this cache. No joy for us today. Looked at hint, but couldnt find anything. Hopefully its just a case of cache blindness. Next time Im in the area, Ill have another go and hopefully turn this DNF into a .
OCW GZed. Took ages to find a spot to park here but thats to be expected. The beach was busy, the volleyball was happening and when I told Zed where to make the find, he sped ahead and left me for dead. Really pretty spot. TFTC!

Found it but took ,e a while. I was looking at the wrong statue! Sorry but I didn't have a pen so i couldn't sighn the logbook but instead I took a photo as proof in found it.

Nous sommes arrivs ce matin pour 3 semaines en Australie. Petit balade dans Broadbeach pour dcouvrir la ville. En passant je trouve trs rapidement cette cache. Le logbook est plein, je l'ai pris en photo. Merci pour cette cache, ma premire en Australie, donc un PF !

We needed to head back North today to pickup the geomonsters and take Holly horse riding.The hotel had electric scooters, so for one last bit of fun we took a couple of them out for a spin.After picking up a couple of caches and as we headed back to the hotel, the battery on Sandra's scooter ran out of juice, so we kept swapping over with mine (which was still full).Sandra kept on heading back to the hotel whilst I went for this cache. I quickly found the container, but realised Sandra still had the pen, so had to ask loads of people until someone kindly leant me one.Then the long ride/walk back in stupid heat.Thanks!!#3578
