After watching Geoboy play soccer nearby, I came here to do an afternoon treasure finding run. Made this one harder than what the find was.
TFTF. Lovely part of Mordi. Quick pick up after checking out the wall to wall paintings.
Find 9 of 10 on a milestone-chasing day in Braeside and Mordialloc which was cut short by an injury to one of the participants, leading to an emergency dash back to the car and collection from a random park! Despite the painful injury a good time was had and some classic caches were found.Mrs O spotted this one, all good.TFTC Earthbound Chief!
This one was a quick find. Thank you Earthbound Chief for placing and maintaining Mordy Yallock Creek for us to find today.
Nice quick and easy find on a very pleasant afternoon stroll around the area after work while waiting for the traffic to subside. TFTC
Located at 5:49pm. #1378.Full log to follow. ! Baruch Hashem! TFTC! Much obliged for the placement Earthbound Chief!Kindest Regards, - Alephroom.
We had decided that it was time to take the geo-pooch out and grab a few caches on the way. This looked like a nice loop that would fulfill all requirements so we drove over and parked up nearby.
A quick find. TFTC.

Start of our afternoon in Mordialloc. This was a quick find to set us off at a good pace. Lovely waterway and bushland we visited for the first time. TFTC EarthboundChief
Thanks for this Earthbound Max! We had a false start on this one as some council muggles were doing some small controlled burns at & around the GZ. Finally got back yesterday & collected the smiley.

Having a second look after DNF months back and thought it had been sucked back into the vortex when out of the blackhole it appeared so nice to turn a blue into a yellow TFTC
After a bit of going in circles I found this one. Earthbound Chief must be a little bit taller than me!
Beautiful morning to be out and about in Mordialloc and after avenging a previous DNF, this was our next port of call. We were lucky to have the area to ourselves and even luckier to find the cache as quickly as we did.
This is a lovely area for Earthbound Max to stretch his legs and we thank him for this cache. Thanks also to his babysitters, EB Chief.

This was the meeting point for the first cache of the day with kbucky we wandered around in circles for a while before I spotted the nicely hidden cache signed and replaced...TFTC... EBC
Thanks for the cache Earthbound Max and babysitter EB Chief! A lovely autumn morning and many people out and about so totally get how it would be hard to be discreet. We were looking for awhile and conveniently my daughter rang so had excuse to be standing there yakking and Kashbound's eagle eye made find.
Hopefully this container works for less black holes for you.

I had a bus job in the area today, and took the opportunity to bring my bike and head out to find some caches.
A very pleasant area to explore today.
I can't profess that this is my favourite type of hide, but fortunately the search was fairly brief.
No muggles around to hamper my activities made it easier.
Cache is in good dry condition.

There must be sizable cache creep here as we were unable to find the container of a large area. We have replaced with a much smaller container, slightly elevated
Another quick find by Mrs TiedyeSmileys as we strolled along the creek
TFTC and greetings from Tassie

In town and down this way to hunt for a certain cache so took the opportunity after finding it to search for a few more while it was not raining this trip. This one took a little to find as was small than expected. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Out enjoying a walk along the foreshore and area this afternoon, collecting some caches as I go.
Decided to walk up along the creek as well, this was as far as I got as I need to turn around and head back.
Found the hairy lemon but can't say I have ever had one

We are in the area today after dropping our grandkids off at school and kindergarten and a day to fill in before pickup. A short walk from our car brought us to GZ where the search probably took longer than it should have - the GPSr devices where a little unstable. But we found the container in the end. Thanks Earthbound Max (babysat by EB Chief) for the cache.
Had to think like a kid here as GPS hovering everywhere- and references to geokids finding it in the logs What would they do in this area.? Soon found the container with a dry log
1st of 5 caches found today on a stroll with the geodog to get the election out of my head !
Thanks Earthbound Max for the hide.

Thanks Earthbound Max for the hide.
Cheeky little hide, gps did have a good jump around but geo kid found it and also lost the pen in the process
My mum was with me and made the find! Never cached before and I was impressed tftc !!
Quick find - with crusty making the find as my mindset was looking for a regular! In Melbs so pretty nice to be here exploring so far from home base in the mountains. Crusty came up with a plan so here I am with Crustyvarmint and Skylizard spending a few hours in the fresh air doing fun stuff like geocaching! TFTC, placing them And the FUN!
Out caching today with Crustyvarmint and Ronice88 .. I enjoy caching in the area, so many caches to find… it was great to have such good company today .. my GPS was jumping all over the place .. another quick find by Crustyvarmint.. thanks Earthbound Max and EB Chief for placing the cache
We are spending a day in Mordialloc. While it was quite windy at the beach, it was hot along the path here.
We found the cache quite easily.
Thanks for the cache

We found it! But we found the former cache being a camo Metamucil container. Last found about 18months ago. Looks like there is more than one cache here
I found this lemony fellow much more quickly than expected. Great spot for a cache.
Out and about caching with Brainiac03 today, with showers reported to be ongoing throughout the day we both knew that we had to dodge the showers when we could and over all smash out some of the drips and drabs of caches we had to do in the area.
With an early start we were eventually rained out, well more so the showers because largely annoying so we called the day early. All in all a great day out, thanks for the cache.

We had attempted this one before and couldn't find it. With the help of one of our mini-cachers we got log a smiley face this time.
We found the hairy lemon version. Actually, junior cacher #1 found it.
Thank you -- nice to get rid of the earlier DNF!

Second time looking for this geocache and pleased to say I found it this time. Seems to be a lot less ground cover than last time. This one wasn't really on my radar for this Friday night caching run, however with the amount of traffic in the area, I thought a walk looking for caches would be a good idea, rather than getting back in the car.
Thanks for the cache Earthbound Chief

We had a quick attempt at finding this cache yesterday, but as it was a glorious day AND a public holiday, the muggles were out in full force. We decided to stop looking creepy and suspicious in the bushes (giggle) and make a note to return. A quick dash back this morning under the cover of gloomy skies had us locating the geocache quickly with the aid of some previous logs. This incarnation was a metameucil tube!! Thanks EB Max (& EBC)! Cache On.
I'd searched for this before with no luck, so I decided to take my friend Kate along. I told her the general area to search, and there it was, just like that. Thanks Kate and thank Earthbound Max
After finding the coordinates we tried to locate the cache, looking in all the highs and lows, and eventually, we accidentally came across it! My tip, let the GPS guide you then fossick around!
Quick find although i must have looked a little strange fossicking in the bushes dressed in business attire.
It was a fun ride to get to it. I like the container. No wonder there were ants!
This one ended up being our last find for the day and one that had me going in circles for a while as I waited for the GPS signal to settle in this area.
I snooped around the middle of the trails with quite a number of ultimately unsuccessful hiding spots scrutinised.
Eventually, I came across something that looked as though it could be holding a cache and, lucky for me, it was!
Unlucky for me, it was also holding many, many ants so I made things quick in the hopes that none of them decided to hitch a ride!
Replaced it all back as found, hopefully those ants don't stick around for too long.
Thanks to Earthbound Chief for placing this cache!

Out tonight caching around Mordialloc with my youth group. Found this one quite quickly, though I think this is one I've found before and didn't log. The cache is big enough for a few small swaps, so I left a few to show the youth group members how swaps work, and I think we've converted some of them to cachers. TFTC!
I was here in January with Mister Doctor and we couldn't find it - that feels like a lifetime ago now.
I was back in the area today so I stopped by on this beautiful day, and this time it was a quick find. Thank you!

TFTC! Helps looking at the map first as ended up in the right side but wrong loop around
Out on a beautiful day, nice sunshine. This one took a bit of searching, eventually I had the cache in my hand. Thank you for the great series of caches.
Disabled due to Covid Stay at Home restrictions. Will re-enable when restrictions ease.

This was a previous DNF from August last year. I remember we searched everywhere and decided to put a watch on this. Today I was out on a bike ride and decided to give it another crack. I has a very quick search and decided to try for a better reading. I waited for the GPS to settle away from the trees. It pointed to a location that I investigated further. I checked something that was pretty natural and there it was . A yellow one. Log signed and all back safe again.
Thanks EB Chief.
