Got to gz and container has come off its glue. Placed nearby but maintenance required
This one was just too clever for me today. I had a good 10 minutes to search, the only muggles flying past too quickly to notice. However, I just couldn't find it.
TFTC anyway.

Found it!, as he sun went down unfortunately. Rather easy find. Good magnet, but the hide has deteriorated, the lid is barely hanging on and the log is torn and fragile.
Nevertheless, nice spot for a cache.
Thanks Pie Rats

Love these bridge caches not! Feel so exposed. View down stream was brilliant. Tftc
# 5641 Found on our VIC and NSW east coast adventure on the way out of Nowra heading North.
Nice and quiet and not many muggles flying past while I was here.
After looking at all the likely spots, I moved away and then back again for a closer look.
Finally found it where I thought I looked the first time.
Thanks for the cache The Pirates of PATE,
Roostaman.

That's a strong one! Driven past lots of times and never quite managed to stop and make the grab. Did so as the first one of today. Stunning views from the middle of the bridge so took a few photos to throw the muggles off. Quick find once the coast was clear. TFTC!
Took my son out for a scooter ride along the cycle way that runs parallel with the Shoalhaven River from Ferry Lane down to Wharf Road, and then across to the Park on the SW side of the Bridge. We we fortunate to experience a beautiful bit of weather on an otherwise rainy day. Whilst here I realized that this cache was not too far away, and so we walked/scootered along the Bridge approaching from the South. We initially tried to locate the cache via photo clue, but it appears to have been painted over in the course of council or RTA carrying out Anti-Graffiti maintenance. After a quick search however it was located, and log signed. It was nice to be reminded how truly beautiful the Shoalhaven River is. TFTC.
Had a good run up until now but it all came crashing down. DNF for me, so many places.
Next time.

Great location. I really enjoyed the walk on the bridge. And then that slightly scary bouncing action of the cars. Quick find after using the photo clue. Spent a short time watching the big jellyfish float by underneath. Tftc. Added a favourite.
Found with paulyman and marachup. I'm no good with heights, so I just stood around until paulyman made the find. TFTC.
Found with Paulyman and Snorris. Very windy and a lot of muggles but a great view and a great cache. TFTC! n_n

We went over this bridge a number of times during the day, and finally stopped near the fish shop to walk out on it for the cache.
Coords were good & bikerbuddy put his hands on the container immediately.
Thanks

We parked at the fish shop, where we were later to have dinner, and walked the bridge to find this one. We found it straight away. The coordinates were spot on. Thanks
Got GZ but snorris had vertigo, so didn't get to have a close look for the cache. Maybe next visit.
Well after a couple of clues and an additional set of eyes and hands the illusive cache is in hand. I think I have only logged one DNF but I did have many more looks. Every time is was great to have Couple of minutes to observe our beautiful and ever changing river.
Thank you for challenging my perseverance and RockHopper.
This now has to be on my favorite list. Left a star to shine.

Letting you know I arrived safe and sound in Australia. I will drop you off as soon as I can, but until then enjoy the view.
FOUND AFTER A SHORT SEARCH UNDER THE COVER OF DARKNESS ON AN EARLY MORNING RUN. THIS IS MY 800TH FIND SO I HAVE TO GIVE THIS ONE A FAVORITE. WHAT A GREAT AREA. TFTC
Back in my old home town. Showing the geoteen around and nice walk across the bridge. The lad eventuall spied the hide. Then off to check on the house we build back in the 70's. Still standing.
I walked from the north side pausing to pay my respects to the son of a friend who lost his life here nearly 2 years ago. This was my 2nd visit to this one & after talking to a previous finder I was able to narrow my search. I had to wait for a break in the traffic to get both hands on this cause the magnet is so strong. I guess Emma is 11 now, I hope she is doing fine ! SL TFTC
I had the bridge to myself this morning, searched up & down, back & forth with no luck.
Spent about 45 mins searching for this one. not many muggles walking by so I had lots of opportunity to search. I think my search was too narrow after reading the logs - Doh! Gizmo assured me I was in the right spot, too!! I'll be back!
After spending ages here the other day I came back with the girlfriend. She has a better sense for these things. It didn't take her long to have a grin from ear to ear. Yeah she found it after only a few minutes. I'm sure I looked there before.
took awhile to fnd and was tough to grab without yanking it and loosing it over the edge

Quick grab. We are well practiced on these ones after our recent Europe trip. It seemed that most bridges were caches. TFTC
YAY! Gebub & I found this one on a return visit...thanks Pirates for the HUGE shove in the right direction

Back on my 2nd attempt. Widened the search a little and finally found the sucker About 9m out from where I thought it was. Thanks
Spent ages looking for this one today....just read the last log - do I assume that it's not there at the moment? or can I have a hint????
Vgc I can remember hearing the rattle of the slats on this bridge from our place 1Km away as the vehicles crossed the Shoalhaven into Paradise
Just letting you know where we are,
Once the rains stops we will get you going again
hopefully next weekend

just letting the you know where the coin is as we don't set sail till the 3rd of June. But it will be worth it
Be careful not to drop the cache or your GPS into the river. Easy find but lots of muggles to avoid.
After starting the day with a DNF close by, we wandered around to this cache and soon realised we were on the wrong side of the bridge. So we walked back and over to the other side. Jeez, doesn't the side where the cache in move and rumble as cars and trucks go by?
I was with a friend and he looked in the right spot, but didn't see the cache (not sure how to tell the truth). After about 5 minutes, I wandered over to his search area and spotted the cache instantly. I told him to have a better look and we soon had the container in hand. A quick sign and replacement and we were off again.

4012. [font=Book Antiqua][green]After doing the history walk I decided to walk to this one as well. Slightly unnerving to feel how the footpath rumbles with passing cars. Looked around for a bit and then widened my search and there it was. I wonder what the cars think?

Whilst I was following the GPS and cleaning up lots of spider webs where it was pointing, Jim was following his uncanny sixth sense and was cleaning up the cache! Why is it that he can always immediately find these bridge based micros whereas I can never hone in on the correct GZ without cleaning virtually the whote bridge first??? Anyway, found it was and duly signed, TFTH
Found on our trip into Nowra for the day of caching.
Walked across the bridge, enjoying the views of the boats on the water. Found the cache with no difficulty, though a few passing muggles must've thought i looked silly craning my neck around to see this one.

YEY! been meaning to do this one for a while!! The trucks are a bit freaky! ^__^ But it was a nice easy find! Thanks so much for the cache!!!
Fifth site for the day, and the 4th with no find to report. Are you sure some other Pirates haven't stolen or dropped it? We'll be back for another search soon.
Had a bit of a search but didn't find the right spot but will try again when we are back down here
We took the opportunity to enjoy the view from GZ before starting the hunt. The search lasted a few minutes but we got there eventually. TFTC The Pirates of PATE. [815]

A nice quick find. I hope the passing muggles didn't notice me. Probably not. They seemed to have blinkers on.
Had my doubts this one would still be here but was pleasantly surprised, new log sheet as well thanks for the cache....
It was hard swimming us stream today but the Pirates have a great little hide here, so I might hang here for a few days before I move on
WOW, Lot's of spots to look here.
I came up with the goods in the last place I looked.
Isn't that always the way.
Great views up the Shoalhaven from here.

This was our 4042nd overall find.
Found at about 7:01 PM. A nice wander out to the GZ tonight. We watched a Pelican fishing below and made a quick find as the traffic whizzed past.
Thanks to The Pirates of PATE for the cache.

Tried this one the night before with the blackbunny's but came up empty handed. The two others that I was travelling with had a cache to find nearby this morning so I tried again and behold got it. Dont know how I missed it the night before TFTC. Enjoyed our invasion to the shoalhaven
Nowra Invasion 10. A walk to this one. The GPS said one spot, but an expanded search picked it up. Strength in numbers. Thanks.

last one of the night after the invasion dinner, but the hardest to find, but probably the best time to search I'm sure with about 5 pairs of eyes searching it took a some searching but phew eventually found it, time for some rest for another whole bunch of caching tomorrow, Found with Tankengine, Marcus V. Albida and Norkmeister during the Norwa Invasion
great location!

Reperio at 2150. This was one of those caches that I had been looking forward to find since arriving in Nowra. I love these types of bridges, although having said that, finding a micro on one is not always a joy. Luckily there were a few of us searching for this one, and in the midst of flickering torchlight and the odd occasional passing muggle, the cache was soon found in a safe place, albeit several meters from where we looking.
Glad to have this one found.

As we arrived in town early we thought we would knock a couple off our hit list before meeting up. This was a quick grab between pedestrians as we tried not to be blown down river. Thft
Damn that is strong! I had to use 2 hands to get it out to make sure I didn't drop it in the river. Found the coordinates to be about 4 metres which usually wouldn't be a problem, but for a micro on a bridge it made it a bit difficult to find at night, even with 5 people!
Last one for the night on day one of our Nowra invasion... Great little hide, not too hard. Thanks The Pirates of PATE!
A quick walk and find. While signing the log two B-Doubles cross the bridge and did it bounce around! No wind and the river was smooth as glass. TNLN thanks.
Walked out on the bridge after having found 'Flightless bird'. Took a few minutes before locating the hidden container.
Due to the very strong magnet it almost did not release itself from its hiding place.

Hadn't planned on doing this one tonight but when it popped up on the map was decided to make a quick dash.
The rest of the family took off over the bridge with the car and I ran across, grabbed the cache on the way (certainly don't drop this one!) and then to the other side.
Just managed to get to the car before the next shower arrived. TFTC!

Walked from the South end and had a brief look, narrowed it down to one beam but no luck...Try another day. Thanks.
Found quickly this time after an unsuccessful hunt before. This was my first "premium members only" cache (I think). I took a number of photos of the bridge as a potential waymark. Thanks for the hide.
Can't believe this one had me searching for over half an hour last time without succes while this time it only took me 10 seconds. I am so sure I looked there last time?? Well that comes with the job, I'll say.

Cache run on the way from Auckland to the Megga Event in Wagga. After only a brief search we located the cache which was a relief as there is so much movement on the bridge with the traffic screaming past T4TC.
