Overcast day, but still a great view. All very quiet here this morning, great spot to take a break. Tftc
Stage 3 of our trip is a few days on the North Island of New Zealand. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining caches for us to find. Day 1 Quick find at the Airport when arrived before we headed down to Pirongia to say with friends. Day 2 I spotted a multi in Hamilton which took us on a tour of street art. So we headed into town for a stroll around. After lunch, a walk was in order so we stopped at Lake Ngaroto and walked and geocached around. Day 3 we drove up to Coromandel stopping along the way to see the sights and of course geocache!Day 4 Up early to head eastwards and a leisurely drive back down the coast.
Thanks for the hide! Easy find. I had no pen on me so taken a pic of the log sheet(s). Thanks.
In Whitianga with a group of friends. Weather was good so took the opportunity for a walk. Quick find & great spot to sit & enjoy the view. TFTC
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. Nice sunny day here today. Cheers, Cympull.
Nice and quiet today so I sat for a while and signed the log. I was just putting the cache back when a muggle appeared from around the flax. As I got back to the car she hovered by GZ with er phone and then sat in the same spot I had, watching me. I don't know if she was a cacher or that is the best spot to sit and watch the day go by.
Accio 17:08:56Halfway through our amazing New Zealand holiday, T4mmmy are still exploring the Coromandel Peninsula. Today we went north and had an amazing fish dinner in town. Thanks Darby&Joan for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #11735}*
Staying at the local NZMCA park in our Motorhome. Beaut day for a bike ride.
Cheers

A race to find the correct spot. Lid is missing but other than that cache seems well and reasonably dry. Cloudy day with rain rolling in so views not as they could be but a nice spot nonetheless
This was as far up the beach as I walked today. Only one muggle across the road working on their garden, but not looking my way as I searched for the cache. I gave it a really good look and feel around, but for a 1/1 with a seemingly obvious hint, I'm fairly sure it's missing...
Thank you for giving me a reason to come to this spot though!

Our starter today for TEMBO! and me was at "Buffalo Beach". We had a quick find under the eyes of construction workers. They are not interested in us.
Thanks to Darby&Joan for hiding and maintaining the cache.

Hello. We found the cache this afternoon and wanted to let you know that the lid is broken at the hinge and no longer stays closed properly. We used a bit of the tape it is wrapped in to secure it for now.
A beautiful day for caching. # Found with mobi12 26 november 2022. Greetings from Västmanland Sweden
We’re currently staying at Tairua and came up to Whitianga for the day. Nice quick find here - added some paper to the paper as the log is full, TFTC
Quick find. The paper is full. Probably the next can spend some new paper. Nice place!
Thanks for the cache.

Making our way to Whitianga for the day and some caching along the way.

Staying in Whitianga for a long weekend and doing some caches while we are here. Thanks to the cache owner for placing this cache.
A gorgeous day and a lovely spot

A quick easy find here on an early morning walk. No one in sight and a great place to stop and check out the views of Whitianga. TFTC
My first overseas find... in my childhood town nevertheless. Even better... right next to my mums house where I grew up! TFTC. According to mum, many of the residents think that people are stashing drugs or money under here with the way they hunt around ????
Quickly spotted on our night caching adventure. Great to come back to where I use to windsurf. Tftc
Wasn’t sure how this night caching was going to go, but fortunately this didn’t take too long to locate and everyone in the nearby houses weren’t interested in what we were doing with head torches on. TFTC
This cache might not be there.
I’ve found this one before, and it wasn’t in the same spot, so I looked around a bit more and I couldn’t find it
I didn’t have a thorough look though, because I went out to the rocks to look for crabs, so don’t let this put you off.
I enjoyed the view, and it was nice to learn a bit about Whitianga!

Down for a weekend 'crafting retreat' with friends - went for a early evening walk with KakesNZ - After having found the previous cache we 'guessed' where we were heading to - one of our crafting friends who house we were using had told us about a nice spot she liked to come and sit in this area. Well we ended up taking a seat in her exact spot (favourite point for the connection to a friends special spot)
Nice place to chill.
Was staying in Rings Beach for a few days with my niece (booboobecky). Was able to get her back into caching as well.
We were off to see some of Becky's friends in Hahei for a swim, and stopped off for some caches on the way.

Out for another morning bike ride. A non G2 cache. . This was the turnaround point of our ride. A perfect day for it. Log was full so we replaced it. A nice spot. Enjoyed the view. TFTC
After a dnf a few years ago finally able to come back and get it today with no problems
Thanks for the placement

I had a few hours to myself this afternoon without the family so wondered off to clear out the caches in Whitianga. I was hoping for a relaxing drive and cache and it was! With majority G-2 caches, it was sure it was going to be a difficult afternoon. Thank goodness it wasn't as the sun was out in full force. Perhaps G-2 was feeling merciful at Whitianga!
