Logs
One last cache while out this neck of the woods and this was located after some searching about, just enough light to spot it. Many thanks for the hide.
Day one of the road trip to Coober Pedy'Picked up the Rat from her nest and, after a new local cache, headed for Alford then over to Tickera before heading north to Port Augusta for the first night. A nice number of quite a variety of caches were found on the way and this was one of the ones I wanted. Thanks to Newbs_Clan for adding to the playing field with this cache.Smilie #15083.*This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).*
Day 1 of our 5 day road trip.Ttrogg picked up the Rat from her nest, and we ended our day in Port Augusta. This was a relatively easy find for us today. We stamped the log and replaced as found. Tftc
The other cache just by the highway and had to stop and grab on the way back to townTFTC
OCW PelDroedGwin whilst geodog Peppa is at the vetsA fun track drive to get within 50m of GZ where we found a great container, well stocked. Tftc
Ocw the Bebes in PA. A bit of rubbish around the area but located the cache. Tftc
Didnt get to write down our names cause we forgot our pen in the car. But I left a paper crane in there~
Darwin to Adelaide Road Trip
Day Nine: Port Augusta to Gumeracha
Weather: perfect, but windy
I’m taking advantage of the 4WD here and driving to this one. The area around GZ is a bit of a dump, but the cache itself is a distance away from the worst of it.
Always a pleasure to find one of these containers, thanks for the hide Moo, great use of your present here, thanks for sharing it with us.
It’s officially a mega - GCA1DNA “The Great Leap Forward”

We would love to have your company.

Happy birthday Moo for all those years ago.
Who doesn't like a cache of this type? You'd be crazy if you didn't. We stopped for a short break whilst driving from Andamooka and Port Augusta, so I took a stroll to grab the three trackables that had been sitting for nearly six months. I also had a couple that have been travelling with me, so dropped them off.
Thanks for a 'proper' cache placement.

On our travels we stopped to grab this cache, we weren’t sure about this one but geo hubby hawk eye spotted the prize in record time, thanks for placing this cache
Hooray! Found it after a long time of rustling bushes. I looked for advice from previous finders, and kept looking because one of them wrote that it's easy to find if you approach from the right direction. They were right! There it was plain as day! This is a most excellent cache! Would there were more like this! SL TN L toy sheep. Dropped some TBs. Thank you for bringing me here today. You are an inspiration!
had some time to kill while the geoute was in for some tlc.

Another cache found during our 2022 South Australia Adventure using Geocaching as our guide.
It was great to find a good old fashioned ammo box, pity about the rubbish though.
Thanks NewbsGang

This one took us a few minutes. But once coming at it from the right angle it was an easy find. TFTC. Great to see an ammo still in the wild.
Happy Birthday Moo. Pity about the rubbish dump nearby. This is why we can never have anything nice! TFTC
Finally got to place after taking the wrong track but once there was easy to find (footprints helped lol). Took TB to help it move on. TFTC
On my way back south after an awesome trip up through the Kimberly’s for 6 weeks.
Not sure if I should have bought the the camper trailer in tow into here as I was not sure where I would end up.
After dodging a couple of piles of rubbish I made it into here and thought why do people have to use this beautiful country of ours as a tip.
This one took longer than it should have as how can you miss an ammo can as a cache out here.
I eventually added my name to the log.
Thanks Newbs_Clan TFTC

Work's done and dusted for the week which means a free afternoon for caching - the target was to travel Yorkeys Crossing and find caches along the way. Great views and playing dodgem with trucks made the day.
I enjoyed the walk in from the nearby cache. Why do people have to use the 'bush' as a rubbish dump. The cache was found are a bit of searching - how can you miss a cache of this size?

Found today while staying in Port Augusta. Wife went shopping. I went caching. tftc.
Off on a caching adventure with GoodLook on the Easter long weekend!! We had perfect weather and, for the route we were taking, surprisingly little traffic! Our target was the Cleve Cowell area althouth we started way before this. Our biggest challenge was the lack of anything open, apart from roadhouses, on the Friday and Saturday!!
Took us a while to find the right approach to this one!! Thanks for the hide!!

This took a while to get to as we drove on the wrong track initially and ended up in a section we needed to back out of.
Found whilst on a fabulous Easter long weekend caching trip with CPwanderer travelling from Adelaide to the Eyre Peninsula.
Our weekend has been filled with fun, laughter and lots of crazy caching adventures [:o)] [^] I loved nearly all of the interesting little tracks we travelled and the bush we 'bashed' in my 'fake' 4wd....poor CP was getting worried at times , but I was quietly confident we wouldn't get bogged! (oh and I may have had my fingers crossed at times as there was little/no phone coverage in many of the areas we visited).
The flies, ants and spiders are friendly on the Eyre Peninsula [xx(] ; CP had a close call with a death adder snake and it was hard to find anywhere but road houses to eat at due to towns effectively being closed , but CP was a perfect travel and caching companion and good passenger [^] whilst I tackled the 1500+kms of driving........sooo awesome!! I want to do it all again!! Bring on the next caching adventure!! [^]
Thanks for the cache Newbs Clan

A beautiful afternoon spent doing Port Augusta's west side caches with a round trip of Yorkey's Crossing. TNLNSL, TFTC
Continuing on my trip after doing the FTF PT series from Whyalla to Iron Knob.
I hadn't intended to do this one but ended up nearby so called in to find the cache.
Found without problems and the log signed. I think I picked up some trackables here.
Thanks Honey Badger Gang for the cache.

Found this afternoon with StringySnot. This type of cache is awesome!! Signed log and left some swag, as supply looked a bit low. TFTC!!
After completing our 2nd trip around Australia, we are now heading towards Alice Springs.
Camped at Port Augusta, and picked up some caches in the area.
Walked to this one, from the previous find. A nice big container, but no cake or candles.
Many thanks for the hunt today, Honey Badger Gang.

It's good to see large continers. Sorry we missed your birthday Moo, but may you have many more of them (and celebrate every one).
