Easy find even if the passing runabout thought I was checking the structural integrity of the bridge. Log sheet is full
Our last day on the South Island of New Zealand before taking the ferry to Wellington. We visited a few more caches in Picton. Unfortunately it was very windy today, so we hardly had a chance to really enjoy the place. On the other hand, we found the caches in good condition, although the log strips here and there need to be redone. We would like to thank all the owners for bringing them here and hiding them. Best wishes from the Moorhelmi's from Germany.
Day thirty of our epic New Zealand Adventure with The Morris.Spent the day traveling from Nelson to Picton.Sunny all day.Walked around the Airport at Nelson before we left, and did a few AdLabs.Had dinner in Picton then did some more caches.A steep little coat hanger!Thought the cache might be where it turned out to be.Glad to see we could cross the harbour here. Thanks, Robmc.
Day 30 of our Enzed adventures with Robmc and today we decided to leave Nelson a day early and be in Picton for the ferry instead of an early morning dash. After arriving on a beautiful sunny day we wandered around town for a bit. Thanks for contributing to an amazing holiday. Love the camera watching our meanderings.

After many, many hours of flying, a passage through China on the way there and through the United States of America on the way back, we will finally arrive in Christchurch which will be the starting point of our journey. We will enjoy the beaches of the Pacific Ocean and we will go back towards the North Island via State Highway 1. To combine business with pleasure, we will take regular breaks and small detours according to the caches that seem the most accessible to us.With a little more than 3500 km in 20 days, we will have discovered many facets of this island which is soothing. We will have to come back because there are so many places that we have not done ??. In broad strokes, the path will go from Christchurch to the Kaikoura Peninsula then towards Picton for the crossing to Wellington.New island, new road, and by State Highway 2 we go towards Hastings and Napier. We will leave the seaside for several days to go to Tongariro and Taupo. We will continue north towards Rotorua and Hamilton (without forgetting a detour via Hobbiton ??) A detour to the Coromandel Peninsula and finally the almost north of the island with Whangarei and Waitangi to learn the history of this country. There will only be a few days left to spend towards Auckland and its suburbs before taking the plane back to the grayness of our European autumn. The majority of the boxes will be found, we have abandoned those where our English was lacking and where we could not understand the clue. Thanks to all the owners who brightened up our path, who took us to incredible places (that's also geocaching)In short, we had a great vacation, saw beautiful places that simply ask us to come back. We learned a lot about the history of this country and its traditions, it's a great motivation for our destinations.-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --Petit log en retard mais un peu plus complet maintenant que nous sommes rentrs la maison. Day #4 Blenheim to Nelson - The Mega New Zealand ExperienceA chance for an overseas Mega was too good to pass up. Especially with half the state seeming to be attending also. I set about some last minute planning.? Flights still available? Accommodation found? Mode of transport securedLooks like its time to cross the ditch. Ive never visited the South Island before so it is bound to be a fun filled trip. After a lovely stop in Blenheim overnight (with a bonus wood fireplace!), it was off to Nelson today via Picton.A beautiful view from up on the bridge this morning. A relatively quick find here once I switched to the other side.A big thanks goes to No Fixed Aboder for taking the time to add Coathanger Bridge (Picton)(Nelson/Marlborough) to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Wow! Tfc, found whilst here for the ferry going to the North Island. Picton looks very sweet - but small - however only just arrived so wont make any judgement yet.
#15,537. Parked for a walk in Picton in Marlborough. The GZ was fortunately all quiet at the time of our visit. Found after a short search, initially on the wrong side. The cache, which was a micro rather than a small, was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.*Thanks for the geocache placement, and for bringing us to this site, and **.T h a n k s. .f o r. .t h e. .c a c h e.**.M a u r u u r u. .k o e. .n u i. .a t u. .h o k i. .t e. .k e t e r o k i.*---### LET US HAVE A BLOCK PARTY!!! ###On **May 3rd, 2025**, we will be celebrating 25 years of geocaching in **Rotorua, New Zealand** with a special **Block Party** event. TheLandGirl and I were staying in Picton for the night, before commencing the Queen Charlotte Track tomorrow. We arrived in Picton this afternoon and spent a couple of hours wandering around town, sightseeing and doing a little bit of caching. There was a muggle on the nearby seat, but it turns out that we could look without him noticing and we soon made the find of the cache here. TFTC!
Oh man, that last clue helped!! Wed been over here (4 of us) a week ago with no luck. Thanks to the last cachers for the find! However!! We did end up moving it down to where the clue clearly says its supposed to be.
Easy find, though it took some time to locate the cache. Loved the city and the Toastie shop. Remember to look up!!
Having made landfall after the ferry crossing, naturally I set out to find some local caches in this new land, so set out for a bike ride to explore around the area. Came along here while doing the Ad lab, great place for a cache, nice quick find due to the good hint, TFTC
Team Katie and Jack's wedding kiddies first ever geocash... Took us a while but finally found yeayyy

FTC. Here with my wife Stacie and friend Lynn. Traveling from the United States, South Padre Island Texas. Having fun out caching today. Thanks for giving us another adventure!
We are currently on a eight week holiday which is mostly spent in New Zealand and Australia. However, the first three days were spent in Signapore as a nice break from an otherwise long flight. Yesterday we drove from Greymouth to Picton. This afternoon we take the water taxi to Portage. So this morning we have plenty of time for another nice stroll in Picton for some sightseeing and of course geocaching. The weather is quite nice and we are really enjoying ourself. On our walk we also visit this lovely pedestrian bridge. We could not find the cache in the first instance because our gps still had the old coords. Once we read that the cache had moved a bit we search on the new spot and after a bit of looking around the cache was spotted. Thank you very much for this cache,
During our two-month trip through New Zealand and Australia, we arrived in Picton yesterday. We returned our rental car and took the water taxi to the Portage in Marlborough Sounds. Before the water taxi leaves there is some time to visit a few caches. This cache was found.**No Fixed Aboder**, thanks for the cache.
